A/N: Judging from the small amount of reviews I received from the last chapter I take it that it wasn't really that enjoyable, sorry! But I hope this chapter might give you guys the start of something you all have been waiting for, for quite a while now…

Percy POV

I inwardly sighed in relief as I dropped the extremely clingy, irritating girl off in front of my new mother for a little one on one chat. If we managed to persuade the daughter of Aphrodite to our cause, we could potentially send her undercover into Camp Half-Blood or Kronos's army as a sleeper agent, allowing for an easier victory.

"Sir!" I twirled around to see one of the shades assigned to spy on the titans. "My team and I have just discovered one of Kronos' forges near Mount St. Helens."

"Excellent, you and your team are permitted to wipe out any inhabitants of the forge," I commented, barely paying attention.

"That's not all sir… as we were leaving, I identified a weapon cooled in blood, made of the deadliest combination of godly metals, a crafting technique thought to be lost in the ages." If the shade could break out in a nervous sweat, it would already have already created a new ocean. "Sir, the weapon I saw was once created by one of the primordial gods that brought the death of another primordial."

I frowned before realization slowly began to dawn upon me. "It can't be…"

The shade nodded nervously, "It wasn't all I saw, not only was the crafting of this weapon occurring but it seems as if the army encamped at the forge was also attempting to wake up Typhon, held captive beneath the mountain."

"We must prevent this weapon from reaching completion, inform mother that I shall be leading a task force to destroy this weapon at all costs" The shade nodded before dashing into the closest shadow.

I rushed out of the gates of Nyx's palace and towards the archery range where I found Apollo firing his arrows aimlessly.

"Perce!" he greeted, pulling me into a one armed hug, "Need some tips on archery? Or perhaps you need some advice on picking up some chicks? I notice you bring in a daughter of Aphrodite but you can't only win her over with your looks you know, your attitude needs some work! Your moody desire for revenge against the Olympians isn't really attractive towards the ladies you know."

I almost smacked my forehead in frustration, "Apollo, first of all, the daughter of Aphrodite is meant to be a tool in achieving my goal of eliminating the Olympians-"

"See! That's exactly what I'm talking about!" Apollo exclaimed happily, poking me in the chest as if trying to prove a point. "Your constant bitter mood gives you the impression of being a total baby bitch! " Apollo began to flex his biceps before flashing me one of his toothy grins. "Look at me, I'm lean, I'm sexy, and one the greatest beings out there! Girls can't seem to get enough of me!"

I groaned loudly, interrupting Apollo's little "modest" speech about himself. "I don't have the time to pursue a relationship and for your information my attitude is fine. Anyway, I did not come here to chit chat; I require your assistance in eliminating a weapon of massive importance to the titan army."

"Well, why didn't you say so? Next time just tell me immediately instead of whining about your forever alone problems."

I smacked the back of Apollo's head before shadow travelling us to Mt. Saint Helens. We reappeared in the shadows of a forest overlooking the titan forge. My eyes widened at the enormity of the encampment. Hordes of telkhines bustled around, carrying and pushing around piles of metal. Lava oozed and bubbled in small pools where the telkhines thrust their weapons in to heat the metal.

Screams could be heard as mortals were dragged into the campsite and murdered, harvesting them of their blood in large metal vats before tossing the empty carcass to a hungry monster passing by. The sight left me in awe as well as a bit sick.

"Perce…you didn't happen to tell me the weapon we were destroying was that weapon…"

In the middle of the forge stood a gleaming scythe standing six feet tall coruscating in a reddish gold glow. The handle was made of black mahogany with a golden snake curling around the handle to the top where a massive blade streaked with white, bronze, and gold emitted a sense of dread and fear I could feel despite the great distance between the weapon and I. The sight of the weapon sent chills running down my spine. I inwardly gulped as the blade of the weapon looked as if it would cut Mount Saint Helens in half like melted butter before steeling my nerves.

"Apollo, I need you to cover me from here as I go to destroy the weapon." I ordered. He nodded and drew his bow, awaiting my command. I summoned a hunting horn to my hand and held it to my lips. Taking a deep breath, I blew as hard as I could, the waves of sound flowing across the entire region, drawing the attention of every single monster below.

A rumbling of the earth could be felt underneath everyone's feet as the gates of Nyx's realm opened releasing shades armed for combat, wielding one handed swords to automatic weapons, who charged into the battlefield. Hellhounds burst from shadows all around the camp, lunging towards the nearest monster.

Apollo and several shades fired their weapons into the crowd of monsters, adding onto the chaos all throughout the encampment. I quickly joined the initial charge into the battlefield, stabbing a telkhine in the stomach with my dagger before ripping it out to deflect a blow from another telkhine. I quickly deflected several more blows towards my body before spinning below its next attempted swing towards my head and driving my dagger into the telkhine's knee. Using the time I had from the telkhine temporary incapacitation, I ripped my dagger out and drove it through its throat, exploding it into dust.

I weaved in and out of multiple conflicts before meeting a sight that temporarily stunned me. In front of me stood the titan Hyperion toying around with multiple shades, swatting the shades around with his flaming broadsword or blasting away several with a beam of light.

"Haha, puny creations of night! You believe you can fight me? I am the TITAN OF LIGHT! You cannot defeat what you cannot smother!" Hyperion let loose his aura of light, banishing waves of shades back into the realm of Nyx. His eyes soon landed upon me, staring at me in slight confusion before letting out a bellow of laughter.

"So I take it you are responsible for these pitiful creations! I knew they wouldn't come out of nowhere without being summoned!" A hellhound launched in the air towards the titan only to have a hand reach out and snap its neck. "You think you can defeat me with your puny army?" The titan questioned, waving the hellhound carcass in the air before tossing it to the side.

"I don't need an army to fight you," I spat, staring cautiously at the titan for any sudden movements.

"No need for arrogance, I'll send you back into the darkness with these creations faster than you can even register." He rushed towards me, thrusting his sword forwards. I quickly danced out of the way before attempting to land a strike only to be swatted away. I quickly sent several tendrils of darkness towards the titan only to watch as the titan dissolve the tendrils in his light before they even reached him.

In return, the titan sent several beams of light in my direction which I dodged, the beams shattering the rocky wall behind me, sending rubble flying towards me. I dashed forward, intent on landing at least one blow upon the titan only to meet the flaming broadsword with every strike I sent.

I rolled to the side as Hyperion drove his broadsword into the ground sending lines of fire in all directions, burning nearby telkhines, shades and hellhounds.

"How do you expect to land a hit on me with your puny butter knife?" Hyperion taunted, sending a pillar of flames my direction.

I quickly weaved my way through the fire before sending another tendril of shadow towards the titan. "Bigger weapon doesn't necessarily mean you're the better man." I growled.

Hyperion chuckled before launching several strikes towards my midsection. I danced my way out of reach before dashing forward inside his guard and landing a small blow on his leg. Hyperion roared with pain before emitting an aura of power, sending me flying into a tent. Laughter could be heard as I stumbled my way out of the collapsed tent.

The moment I escaped the embrace of the collapsed tent I saw Hyperion's blade cutting through the air. My immediate instinct caused me raise my dagger to attempt to block the blow.

Everything seemed to flow in slow motion as Hyperion's blade sailed through the air before connecting with my dagger. Cracks began to appear in the blade, spreading throughout the entire dagger before it exploded into pieces. Silver shrapnel from my dagger flew in all directions. My eyes widened as pieces of my dagger flew and imbedded itself into my body.

Hyperion's broadsword still sailed through its arc of destruction before landing inside the side of my stomach. Flames from the broadsword burned my body giving the feeling as if the River Phlegethon itself replaced the blood in my body. My scream of pain breached the air, drawing the attention of everyone in the battlefield.

Hyperion let loose a rumble of laughter as he withdrew his broadsword from the side of my gut. Immediately, the moment the broadsword exited my body, several tendrils of darkness shot out from below me and slammed into Hyperion. I gasped, barely noticing through my blurry vision as Hyperion was launched into the mountainside. I placed my hand on my wound where a steady stream of red band silver blood made its way out.

"Silver…?" I muttered to myself as I examined my hand. I slowly clambered to my feet and observed the area around me. Multiple shades and hellhounds formed a circle around me, fending off approaching monsters. Several shades fired upon Hyperion with their automatic weapons as he struggled with tons of tendrils of darkness wrapping around him.

All around the battlefield I watched as shades and hellhounds were swarmed by the endless hordes of monsters. For every monster killed, five took its place. I looked back at the forest to see the gates from Nyx's realm missing, our stream of reinforcements cut off. One telkhine managed to leap over the ring surrounding me and made it within two feet of me before it was speared through the head by a shade.

I looked towards the ledge where Apollo once stood, being pushed back with several shades into the shadows by what seemed to be by another endless horde of monsters.

"Sir… we must go, if we stay any longer we will be overwhelmed!" One shade said to me, fending off three telkhines. Another shade fired its bow at separate telkhines that managed to break through the defensive ring.

I shook my head as I stared at the scythe, the main objective of my mission. It stood several meters away but it almost seemed like miles.

"Spi…" I muttered, "Help… me…"

I could feel myself withdraw into my body as Spi took over control of my body without words, transforming my physical form into her physical appearance. Her arm blades neatly slid out, emitting a poisonous green aura. I watched from within as she made her way towards the scythe, stumbling every now and then as the injury I received was transferred to her.

Her fingers were mere centimeters from the hilt of the scythe before a roar of anger shook the earth. Hyperion broke through his bonds and swatted away the shades firing upon him before bursting forward towards Spi, his eyes flaming with rage.

Hyperion quickly slashed in Spi's direction which she blocked with her arm blades, forming an X. Despite her weakened state, Spi managed to hold her ground as Hyperion struggled to push forward.

"What's the matter big boy…?" Spi growled, gritting her teeth. "Can't defeat a little girl?"

Hyperion faltered in his push, staring at Spi as if just noticing that my physical form transformed into a female one. Using the time she bought, Spi withdrew her blades and rolled forward, stabbing her arm blades into the titan's legs before letting loose a flurry of strikes and slashes, bringing Hyperion down onto his knees.

"Enough!' Hyperion roared, grabbing ahold of Spi and throwing her into the ground, forming a small crater. "It matters not that you are a female now. You still cannot defeat me!"

"Big talk coming from a big man! Oh that's right, when I was busy cutting you up I couldn't help but notice how you sounded like a three year old girl from your screams of pain!" Spi spat. "Why don't you go crying back to mommy where she can kiss your boo boos away. Oh wait you can't cause your mother doesn't give two shits about the war you are waging right now!"

Hyperion growled before attempting to stab downward towards Spi. She rolled out of the way before swinging her right arm blade towards Hyperion's wrist, cutting it clean off. Hyperion screamed in pain as he clutched his stumped hand.

As he was distracted, Spi crawled over to the scythe and grabbed it, her eyes widening from the immense power the scythe radiated.

Twirling the scythe, Spi slammed it into the ground causing for the earth to rumble once more except this time the rumbling could be comparable to an earthquake. Lava burst from cracks and holes in ground in full force, bathing the battlefield and the inhabitants with lava. The shades and hellhounds quickly disappeared in the shadows back into Nyx's realm. From the corner of my eye, I watched as Apollo stare at me in worry before being dragged away into the shadows.

The earth shook violently beneath Spi before a lava sprout erupted beneath her launching us and the scythe into the air where we both faded into unconsciousness.

Time Skip

I slowly blinked my eyes, ignoring my massive headache, noticing I was back in control of my own body. Slowly my blurry vision began to clear. That's when I noticed that I was in some sort of bed. I attempted to move only to find that I was paralyzed. My panic began to rise; my eyes flickered around revealing that I was located in some sort of structure.

My eyes widened as I realized I was in what seemed to be a Greek temple-like structure. My breathing began to fasten. "Oh fuck…" I thought. "I think I'm about to have a panic attack." It was almost too much to take in. Did the Olympians find me and imprison in on Olympus? Was I blown halfway across the world into Greece? Or perhaps this was all an illusion in my mind. I took small comfort in that thought.

I slowly heard a door creak open causing for my heart to beat faster. Who was there? Will this person take advantage of my weakened state? I quickly felt a cool cloth rest upon my forehead soothing my growing headache.

I felt someone rest their finger upon my neck, measuring the amount of beats they could feel. Was I in some sort of hospital? Perhaps Apollo found me… no that can't be right, Apollo would be much louder than the person taking care of me right now. The unknown figure soon began to hum a song that seemed to lessen the pains I felt throughout my body.

"It's such a shame that the only time you've come to visit me is when you are injured," A soothing voice whispered, kissing my forehead causing me to fade back into blackness.

When I woke, I noticed I was still in the same room as before except this time I was able to move. I groaned slightly as I slid off the bed. On the bedside table stood a plate of ambrosia, I grabbed a few, popping them into my mouth to relieve me of some of the pain I felt before attempting to make across the room. I managed to pry open one of the balcony doors to reveal a small lush island that resembled paradise.

"You shouldn't be up in your weakened state," A voice said from behind me.

I whirled around to find an stern older woman staring at me. My hand slowly reached to where my dagger laid before I realized the events that led me up to this point.

"Who are you?" I asked.

The woman laughed before staring at me with twinkling eyes. That's when I noticed, she had silver eyes.

"Come now… it can't be that hard for you to recognize your grandmother?"

I stared at her in shock before sliding down into a sitting position. "You're… you're…"

"Leto," The titaness confirmed. "Mother of the twin archer gods, Artemis and Apollo."

"I… what do you want from me?" I asked hesitantly. "What am I even doing here?"

Leto sighed before making her way towards me, she helped me to one of the balcony seats before making herself comfortable on another. "Where should I start...? I guess it was when I decided to take a stroll on the beach. On my stroll the waves seemed to push a figure onto the beach whom was carrying a very mysterious item. I quickly confiscated the item and hid it before returning."

"Glad to see the item I was carrying was of more importance…" I muttered interrupting her, receiving a glare from her in return.

"As I was saying, when I returned I decided to take you inside to treat your numerous wounds. As I was treating you, I began to find familiar features that I thought I seen before. Once you were stabilized, I searched through my library trying to figure out why you looked so familiar until I came across this." She pulled out a picture book before flipping to a certain page showing a picture of Artemis and the hunt. However if one looked closely, one could see an image of me in the reflection of the lake the picture was taken from.

"You are my daughter's son," Leto concluded.

"I… Leto…" I stammered, I did not want to upset the titaness in front of me who could easier crush me in my weakened state. "I haven't been Artemis's son in a long time. She isn't my mother anymore… I have another."

Leto raised her eyebrow but didn't say a word, gesturing me to explain.

"I was mistreated, abused, hated for my origins and gender," I slowly explained. "Under Artemis's parentage I grew up as a lowly creature. Never to be respected, never to be loved, subjected to servitude and amusement." My voice slowly grew with hatred as memories of my past began to arise.

"No matter how hard I tried, no matter how hard I wished, I could never live a normal life. Artemis blessed me with partial immortality to serve her hunt for the rest of time. No matter how much I begged, how much I pleaded for a break, I was shot down and cast away as filth, as lazy, as a typical male."

"Her hunt were more like her children than me, I was her own flesh and blood but did that matter? Of course not, I was despicable, a blemish upon a perfect society. No one cared, I was just dirt beneath their boots, something they could stomp and shove around. The only true blessing I ever received was the time I was able to get away from the hunt. I would watch how families would interact, from Ancient Greece up to modern day society and I would think to myself, what did I do to deserve a life like this?"

A moment of silence sat between the two of us as I stared bitterly at the ground. "Soon, I had enough, I ran away from the hunt and they have been chasing me ever since."

Leto nodded before silently standing up and exiting the balcony, leaving me alone to wallow in self-pity.

Days seemed to pass before I saw Leto again. She looked angered and saddened at the same time. We were having dinner in her dining room as I was finally able to walk properly again. I needed a proper meal since the last time I looked in the mirror I was as thin as paper.

"I talked with my daughter Artemis…" Leto suddenly spoke. I froze, searching around violently for any glimpse of her.

"She's not here, what I meant to say is that I left to search and talk to her. Apparently she was very interested in your whereabouts as well as how I knew of your existence."

"You didn't tell her right?" I growled.

"Perseus, even if you don't even consider my daughter as your mother you will still always be my grandson and I never give up family." My heart warmed by her words but what she said next made me freeze.

"But I did meet another woman who is a close friend of mine that wants to meet you again and I believe she might be able to help you."

A flash of flames appeared in the dinner hall revealing the woman dressed in a brown cloak who stole Artemis away during my torture session with her, staring at me with an unreadable expression.

"You!" I spat.

A/N: Heh heh, cliffhanger… but I'm still like 99.9% positive you all know who she is. Anyway I hope this chapter was much more enjoyable then the last and please review, it really helps me with my morale for these stories.
