Mario hummed to himself as he looked up at the night, starry sky just outside his home, his arms wrapped around the back of his head as he thought to himself.
"Hmm... so this fanfic's past one hundred-a chapters..." Mario commented as he blinked, tapping his left foot. "I wonder how-a the author-a could make this-a story stand out-a more-a."
"Well, he seems to be going back and updating previous chapters." Birdo commented as she appeared on Mario's left side, rolling her right hand around as she had her left hand on her hip. "It's just that no one reading this now will notice for the moment."
"Really? What makes you say-a that-a?" Mario asked as he moved his hands around.
Birdo was about to comment, but suddenly Bowser Jr. collided into Mario inside his spiky green shell, with Waluigi suddenly landing on top of Mario, flattening the red capped plumber.
"Wa ha ha!" Waluigi laughed as he spun around, posing coolly as he smirked, nodding his head. "No one expects Waluigi out of nowhere!"
"Hey, you're not the only one who gave Mario much needed injury!" Bowser Jr. exclaimed as he shook his arms, bouncing about.
Birdo sighed as she placed her right hand on her forehead, shaking her head at both Waluigi and Bowser Jr. "Oh, must you two always have to find a way to torture Mario...?"
