Mario was humming to himself as he was watering the flower gardens around his home... in the beginning of Winter.

"Mario, don't you think that's a little ridiculous?" Birdo commented as she approached Mario, having a cute red winter coat on as she placed her pink, scaly hands into her pocket.

Mario shook his head as he turned around to face Birdo, holding the green watering can in his right hand. "Now come on, Birdo. I can't have a nice hobby around any time?"

"Well, I wasn't putting it like that!" Birdo exclaimed as she waved her hands, shaking her head as she lowered her eyes, folding her arms. "It's just that... well... sometimes you get a little carried away."

"What!?" Mario exclaimed as his face turned red, dropping his watering can as he angrily moved his arms about, getting into Birdo's face. "I most certainly do not!"

As Birdo backed away from the angry Mario, Bowser Jr. suddenly snuck up on the plumber from behind and poured ice cubs into the back of his overalls. Mario screamed as he froze, collapsing on his knees as Birdo gasped, while Bowser Jr. laughed, pointing down at Mario.

"That'll keep him cooled down for a while!" Bowser Jr. joked as he turned to Birdo, laughing. "He needed to chill, anyway!"

Birdo groaned as she placed her left hand on her face, shaking her head at Bowser Jr.'s awful puns. "Ugh... Junior, these puns are just awful..."

"Not as awful as these cold statues of the tubby one!" Waluigi snarled as he and Dry Bowser were carrying various ice statues of Mario around the plumber's house.

"Why were we even tasked for this...?" Dry Bowser muttered, with one particular frozen Mario statue being so heavy, it caused both him and Waluigi to drop it, with the bony reptile's skeletal arms coming off.
