Chapter Twenty-Five: Distraction Pt. 2

Third Person

"Are you sure we're going in the right direction, un?" Deidera huffed as he ducked a ball of black energy. Sasori was the one to throw a paper bomb at the demon to allow Melody to slide around the corner in wolf form. She growled before launching herself at the next demon. Sasori ducked a series of knives that had been thrown at him as another onslaught of demons came around the corner.

Deidera growled before he held up his hands.

"Danna!" Sasori grabbed Mel around her furry waist and hauled her around just as Deidera shouted out, "Katsu!"

The hall exploded in fire and small specks of glass. Smoke filled the hall just as loud shrieking screams were heard. Deidera and Sasori winced as Melody whined from the sound. In an instant it was over.

"Danna, they're gone, un." Sasori nodded letting Mel go. She shook her body before looking at Sasori seriously.

"Are we okay to continue down the hall you exploded brat?"

"Tch, it'll hold, yeah." Deidera grumbled. Mel nodded before she took off with the two ninja in pursuit.

Sasori vaguely wondered if they would run into Itachi and Ariel. The last explosion Deidera had caused had cut them off as the hall caved in. Nevertheless it was better for them to keep moving in the tunnels hoping that they would eventually reach Amaya.

Itachi's Amaterasu had been especially hot.

"What the hell?" Deidera's cry snapped Sasori out of his dangerous reverie. Up ahead was a fork in the tunnel along with someone standing in their way. Someone with a wide grin and a scythe thrown haphazardly over her shoulder. Sasori spotted a black tattoo on her exposed neck that reminded him of Amaya's tattoo.

The woman in front of them was a Guardian.

"Well, well, well…" The Guardian's shiny black eyes glinted disturbingly. "What do we have here?"

"Who are you?" Sasori asked ignoring the sudden chill as Melody whined low. The Guardian's eyes locked onto Mel.

"Melody Black. I had hoped I would be seeing you." Melody shifted.

"Dei, Sori, go down the hall to the left. I can smell Amaya down that way."

"No way are we leaving you, un." Deidera growled pulling out a kunai. He grit his teeth at the fact that he was underground and couldn't use his clay birds. It made everything harder to be underground.

"Aw, looks like someone got herself a mate." The Guardian's sickly sweet tone was enough for Sasori to want to kill her then and there. "Seems fitting somehow."

"Deidera, go. I can handle this b*tch." Melody's confused frown wasn't exactly helpful. Nor were her next words. "Guardians can't be possessed by a demon nor do I have a grudge match with anyone. Whatever's controlling her could be used on Amaya."

"Alright." Sasori nodded.

"But-" He cut across Deidera.

"Let's go brat. Melody can handle this." He could tell the brat was going to argue so he did the only sensible thing. He wrapped chakra strings around the brat and moved him just as a beam of white light hit where the brat had stood a few seconds ago.

Melody changed into a wolf and lunged at the Guardian. Sasori didn't look back at Melody or her fight. Nor did he allow Deidera as he cussed at the redhead. He had no doubt that Melody could handle herself. They just needed to get to Amaya and hope that she wasn't being put under a spell like that. It would make fighting her that much harder.

Amaya grunted as she was thrown onto a metal bed. The sounds of fighting, screams, and shouts were easy to hear as the chamber they were in was in the center of all the tunnels.

"This doesn't seem good." Azazel muttered as he grabbed Amaya's arm. "Damn Lilith and her monologuing." As quickly as she could Amaya's leg came up to kick Azazel in the head. It would have worked if Azazel's other hand had caught her ankle with a gleam in his eyes. "So you can still fight huh?"

"F*ck you." Amaya ground. Cree appeared on the other side of the table in a flash and slammed Amaya's head into the table with enough force to leave Amaya dazed.

"Honestly, you can't even handle one Guardian?"

"Oh shut the f*ck up Cree. I didn't expect her to be coherent so soon." Azazel growled as he locked the Guardian's arms and legs to the table. "Did you get the other creatures?"

"Of course." Cree smirked. "I don't fail." Azazel ignored the dig as much as possible. Amaya groaned but couldn't move her arms or legs.

"What- Wha?"

"What are we going to do?" Azazel asked. "Nothing too harmful."

"At least to your body." Cree smirked. She scowled a second later as another bomb rocked the tunnels. "You're little friends may be giving those low lives a hard time but just be sure that they won't be able to stop this process."

Amaya's peripherals were able to pick out forms on either side of her laid on the same metal tables. Well except for on her left, the table was iron with a paled haired Faerie on it.

"Are we even ready? Lady Lilith hasn't returned." Azazel muttered. Cree scoffed.

"Lilith left a few shards behind. It won't be enough for what we have in mind but it'll work as far as a shield and one or two test subjects." Amaya didn't like the feeling those words felt her with. She struggled against the bonds only to whimper as pain flared up in her ribs.

"Then let's get moving." Azazel grinned down at her. Amaya did the only thing she could as the two demons moved to the center of the chamber to fiddle with a circular disk with crude writing on it.

She unleashed a wave of magic that was equivalent to a bomb going off. A shout accompanied her burst of magic as the two demons yelled out in surprise.

'ITACHI! NAGATO, KAKASHI! GET ME OUT OF HERE!'

"You little b*tch!" Cree shouted. Amaya screamed as Cree's hand was shoved into her side.

"And you say I have a temper." Azazel sighed.

'ITACHI! NAGATO, KAKASHI! GET ME OUT OF HERE!'

Itachi grunted pushing more chakra into his legs to speed up. He heard Ariel grunt and try to keep up but he soon left her behind in his haste.

A scream resounded shortly after causing Itachi's eyes to narrow in anger. He wasn't fast enough.

In the end it didn't matter as once he ran through the doorway of the last hall he was caught in a gel-like substance that halted him in place before throwing him back into the tunnel. He caught himself at the last second to avoid being smashed into the walls.

"Hn." He grunted looking into the chamber he's been in a few seconds earlier. Some force seemed to be keeping him in the hallway against his will but he could still see into the chamber. Around a small circular podium was six tables made of various metals and wood. Around that was another circle of tables in the same metals and wood. Only five of the tables were currently in use.

"Well look at this." Itachi's eyes narrowed on Damon's smug face. "The boyfriend actually made it here first. Too bad he's too late." With a snap of his fingers the entire chamber shook before a good chunk of the floor crumbled away to reveal black nothingness below.

"Ita…chi!" Amaya's voice carried. He focused his eyes on her beaten form. She had tilted her head at an awkward angle to look at him. Her blue eyes bore signs of pain and darkness but that was all overshadowed with relief and a deeper emotion that Itachi couldn't help but return in his own.

"Amaya!" Itachi turned his head to the side to see Sasori and Deidera in another tunnel. They were as stuck as he was.

"Oh look, more guests." The demoness noted with dry sarcasm.

"I'm kind of disappointed in the shield around this room. We won't be getting any kind of action unless you count the looks on their faces when we-"

"You mean when 'I' put this in her." Damon shrugged.

"The others should be here in a few seconds. It'll be so much fun then." No sooner had Damon said this than the other tunnels were full of the other ninja minus Sakura, Kakashi, Nagato, Konan, and Yahiko. They were probably freeing the other Guardians.

"AMAYA!" Naruto shouted as he tried to fight against the shield.

"Well looks like the Guardians were all derailed." The demoness noted. Itachi noticed with clarity that Ariel, Analia and Melody were gone.

"Where did you leave them, yeah?" Deidera yelled at Itachi.

"Hn." Itachi glanced around the room trying to find a way that he could get into the center of the chamber.

"Don't worry, they should be dead by now." Damon smirked.

"We'll find them later." The demoness grabbed a small bag. "Open up Guardian. Time to join the Dark side."

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER!?" Naruto shouted as Deidera and Hidan shouted out.

"It's a present." Amaya whimpered and jerked as the Demoness pulled out a shiny shard and put it on her. Well she would have put it on her if a golden brown blur hadn't jumped out of the tunnel Deidera and Sasori were in.

The wolf came to a halt growling and in a defensive crouch glaring at the demoness. Blood was on her coat and muzzle but most of the blood seemed to come from her own body. Melody howled before she jumped at the demoness. The demoness cried out as Melody's jaws locked onto her arm and broke her away from Amaya.

"You b*tch!" Damon growled. He was stopped from helping his ally as a ball of fire hit him in the back. He yelled out as the fire spread.

Melody howled as she bit and tore into the demoness' arm. The black blood that came forth was almost enough for her to let go as the disgusting taste landed on her tongue.

On the other side of the chamber a very much on fire Ariel ran to a stop behind Damon. She melded another fire ball before throwing it. Damon ducked, screamed and rushed her only to be met with a knife to the back courtesy of Analia. Damon yelled out in fury allowing his demonic powers to change his form. Horns protruded from his forehead as his teeth sharpened. He grabbed one of the knives attached to his body and threw it at Analia.

Ariel left Analia to deal with Damon as she ran to the circular podium.

"A, you okay?" Ariel asked, stopping beside Amaya momentarily. Amaya coughed up some blood.

"Sure, having a hole in my side along with some bumps and bruises is part of the job description... Since when did you get a twin?"

"You need medical attention." Ariel muttered as she opened the locks being careful to not touch the metal. She pulled Amaya off the table and set her on the floor before she ran to the circular podium.

A loud yelp had Amaya's head sluggishly moving to the side to see Melody's body being thrown across the chamber into one of the tables. Cree's eyes were black with anger and had dark tentacles of smoke coming from her hands.

"I've had it with you meddling Guardians."

"You idiot, Lilith said-" Damon argued as he dodged a fireball.

"Lilith should've been back by now. And besides we don't need these specific Guardians. We have more in the-" Cree's eyes widened in shock as a silver arrow with runes appeared in her chest.

"I really hate it when they talk too much." Dom's voice carried from one of the tunnels. Amaya's eyes were drawn back to Ariel who had cried out in pain. The podium was blazing with fire that seemed to have grown a life of it's own.

"It's not my fire anymore." Ariel yelled. Itachi was the first to notice the shield was gone. He quickly ran to Amaya's side and picked her up as the fire being roared. Dom and Kakuzu ran to free the other people strapped to the tables as Analia kicked Damon into the dark abyss below. The floor stopped crumbling but the fire was spreading rapidly.

"Time to go." Analia yelled swiping the air causing a black hole to appear. "Everyone get in." Deidera and Sasori grabbed Melody as Itachi jumped through the hole with Amaya.

Dom and Hidan were after Sasori and Deidera, each carrying someone. The last person through the black hole was Analia and not a moment too soon as the fire had completely consumed everything else.

Down another couple halls another black hole was just disappearing as the last Guardian was thrown inside thanks to Yahiko.

"We've got everyone." Nagato reported toughing the black earpiece.

'Amaya has been reclaimed.' Itachi's voice came.

'Sakura and I are ready here.'

'Understood. Portals coming your way.' A few seconds later another black hole appeared, smaller in diameter than the last black hole. Without hesitation Konan, Yahiko, and Nagato entered.

Above in the town Sakura and Kakashi were pulled into a black hole just as the town's gas reached the fires burning allover the place.

With a loud boom, the town of demons was vaporized.

By morning, when investigations were underway by humans, they wouldn't be able to tell what had happened. Only that it was Supernatural related.(1)

A wordless cry sounded as a certain Dark witch cried out in pain from being slammed into the hardwood floors of her ancestral home.

"Why don't you just give up?" A pale hand grabbed a wooden plank. The speaker, Lilith, twirled the plank before breaking it over her knee. "You're not a Guardian anymore."

"Just because I don't have any good magic left in me, doesn't mean I can't fight dirty." Connie spat. She whipped a plank at Lilith who ducked it only to be hit by another in the back of the knee. Connie's left hook came up and smacked Lilith in the face before Lilith brought the plank down on Connie who rolled out of the way.

Lilith glared before a small marble was flying through the air. If it hadn't been a bright white Connie would never have seen it. As it was she barely missed it. It flew over her head to hit the last standing pillar behind her. Connie was blown forward into Lilith's waiting arm.

As quick as a snake Lilith pressed a glowing hand to Connie's chest.

"This has been fun, but it's time we ended this." Lilith murmured. Connie's painful gasp turned into a gurgled chuckle.

"I'll see you in Hell." She grabbed Lilith tightly and held her in place as a silver arrow hit Lilith's back. Lilith screamed in rage as Connie pulled the arrow out and whipped it around. Dark magic coated the arrow as she shoved it into Lilith's heart. Lilith's scream was drowned out as the winds whipped around her in a fury.

"NOOOOO!" White magic burst forth from Lilith's body.

Connie barely had time to duck behind the remains of the kitchen island as Lilith's body exploded and white magic was unleashed. It wasn't allowed to run free as the arrow and Dark magic kept Lilith's demonic energy from escaping into the world.

Connie kept herself in a ball until what seemed like hours after Lilith had been purified.

"Mom?" She opened her eyes to see green eyes watching her in shock. She smiled slightly feeling her body relax. The pain in her chest increased letting her know that despite destroying the Evil B*tch and half of the house, she was still going to die.

"Did you… get… your sister?" Dom nodded.

"She's at the Asylum. They tortured her." Connie nodded.

"She's strong… she'll… survive."

"Dom?" Connie's eyes drifted to the blue haired ninja woman. Her amber eyes were guarded but could tell that the ninja knew her fate. Being around Death for so long would do that to a person.

"Can you move mom?" Dom asked. Her son on the other hand…

"No..." Connie's body shuddered suddenly causing her to cough and wheeze on mucus and a wet substance identified by blood.

"Mom we need to get you to the Asylum." Dom grabbed her but she shook her head.

"You know… I can't go there." She moaned in pain. "My… time…I'm not…going to make it." The light left her son's eyes as he heard the truth in her words. His mother would die.

"Why didn't you come with us?"

"B*tch… wanted the… mirror." Connie whispered. Her body wracked once again as the feeling left her fingers and hands. It was a curious thing to feel as the pain left her body slowly. She almost felt fine. Her dark eyes landed on the ninja. "I'm sorry… you're stuck… with my kids… But please… make sure they're… safe. All of them."

"We will do our best." The ninja murmured. Connie nodded, unconsciously relaxing.

"Mom?" Connie didn't know the last time she'd seen her son cry. It had been far too long and the sight of his tears tore at her already damaged heart.

"Don't cry…" She didn't know how she did it but her hand reached for her sons and grabbed it. The heat of his hand was a boon as she drifted in a haze. Her time was almost over. "I'm proud… of you and your… sisters. So much… stronger than I… hoped for."

Dom nodded. She smiled before finally allowing the haze to overwhelm her. Death wasn't so bad, she thought as she drifted off. She only wished she could have told Dom to quit eying the female ninja and ask her out. Now that she thought of it it was the same situation for her daughters.

It had to be ninja's didn't it? Oh well, so long as the Black line continued.

GM NASAI: This isn't my favorite chapter. I tried to put some action into this but I feel like I failed myself. It just didn't seem good enough you know?

(1) Is it just me or should everyone in the Supernatural show, the humans, have caught on to that fact that demons and Otherwordly creatures exist? They can't always explain everything as an accident when they keep telling the victims who survive about it.

I have to say, this is by far my longest, most read, and favorited/followed story on Fanfiction. The views are at 10,000+! That caused my heart to stop for a few seconds. I was and am so happy! Which is why it is my truest regret that I must inform you all that this story is almost over. I should be able to wrap everything up within the next two or three chapters. And unlike the previous chapters when I said I would end this story at 10 or 15 or 20, I mean it this time. This story has taken me a good six months, maybe longer. I shall end this story soon. Which I'm both happy and sad about.

But enough of this. It's time for something I haven't done in a while. OMAKE!

Amaya's POV~

"Amaya, did you see this?" Ariel yelled running across the living room to jump and land on me. I grunted from the impact telling myself that killing Ariel would be a bad thing.

"What are you going on about brat?" I asked. Analia came in looking very red faced and with a wide grin on her face. "And what did you do to Ana?"

"You really need to watch this?" Ana said plopping down beside me. Ariel nodded.

"UH HUH, UH HUH, UH HUH! It's awesome!" I sighed and pressed the screen. Immediately music came on along with the intro, 'Luvoratorrrrry !'. I blinked as Obito, Kakashi, Naruto and Sasuke came on screen and started dancing.

...

"WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK!" I yelled, laughing so hard tears came down my face.

"What are you laughing about?" Kakashi asked coming into the living room with Deidera and Kakuzu. I instantly started to laugh harder.

"You... you..." Analia and Ariel were laughing beside me.

"What are those b*ches dying about?" Hidan asked coming in with Konan and Sakura.

"Kakashi!" I yelled out.

"What about me?" Kakashi asked. Ariel hopped up and plugged her phone into the TV via bluetooth. By this time the laughing had attracted everyone from outside into the living room.

"Save your responses until the end please!" Ariel warned before pressing 'play'.

...

"Um, Kakashi sensei, you have some moves." Sakura stuttered out as Naruto and Sasuke both had red faces and a glare, respectively. Hidan, Deidera, Yahiko and I were laughing so hard.

"I DON'T REMEMBER DOING THIS!" Naruto yelled.

"There is no way in hell I would ever do this." Sasuke commented.

"Ariel, could you tell me where to find this 'Naru Sasu' person?" Kakashi asked mildly.

"You can't kill them. Mainly because we have no clue." Analia chuckled.

"TWINKLE TOES!" Hidan laughed.

"I am very grateful the Akatsuki aren't in these things." Nagato commented quietly. Ariel's evil smile was enough for him to face palm.

"I wouldn't be so sure. You haven't seen the Carmelldansen video."

"The what?" Sasori asked.

Four minutes later, he regretted asking. In fact, so had everyone else an hour later as they'd all been thoroughly embarrassed.
