Birth Of A Nation
A ship.
Something the citizens of Earth, let alone Konohagakure had never seen before. It's presence shook the residents to their core, a giant shadow being cast over the village as it floated idly in the air.
At the helm of it sat a short man with a hood concealing his facial features. The only visible thing was a powerful smirk that revealed his sharp teeth. He and his colleagues had been waiting on this moment for months, and with swift execution it was going smoothly. With a simple click of a button, he was allowed to move from his seat with a swivel and prepare for the rest of the invasion.
He left the cockpit and saw the multiple alien soldiers shuffling around quickly as they got ready for the next step. Through the fray, the small man looked up and saw someone approaching him quickly. The tall green soldier quickly drew a blaster from his waist and pointed in the face of the tiny hooded figure and smiled. His teeth were just as sharp, his smile full of confidence. He had grass green colored skin, and pointy horns sticking out of his head, "Shakuhachi."
"Shinobue," he addressed the taller boy calmly as if he weren't pointing a gun to his face.
"It's time for me to go down and join the fun, right!?" He asked, revealing just how childish and light his voice came across compared to Shakuhachi's deep voice. The tall alien got no response, and frowned when his blaster was smacked away and Shakuhachi advanced past the tall boy. "But brother!" Shinobue's blaster flew back to his hand like magnet near metal as he chased after his older sibling. "You let Nail join the fight!"
"I have something special planned for you," Shakuhachi said as he tried to ignore his little brother and continue on, but the boy jumped in front of him and cut him off. "Out of my way."
Before their conversation could continue, the entire hall was consumed in flashes of red; the sound of an alarm ringing off filling both of their ears.
Something was wrong.
A body flew down the hallway like a rag doll and smashed into the wall, leaving a huge dent. Smoke started to slowly fill the hallway, making Shinobue raise his blaster and cautiously advance forward. He and his brother simultaneously furrowed their brow when a trio of small silhouettes revealed themselves through the smoke. The first to emerge from the smoke was a small saiyan with a face full rage, scars, and clothes covered in blood.
Vegeta pointed directly at Shinobue, "YOU FOOLS!" He grit his teeth when Shinobue smiled upon seeing the angry prince. "The hatch was not open like you said it was!"
"Wait," Shinobue turned to look at his brother with a hint of worry and then turned back to Vegeta, "If it wasn't open, how'd you-" The taller alien's eyes averted to Raditz, who not only had one hand, but that lone hand was still smoking. "YOU DESTROYED THE DOOR!?"
Shakuhachi stepped forward and pressed his finger into Vegeta's chest, "The door wasn't supposed to open for five more minutes! You're the fool!" His voice boomed throughout the hallway, and instead of getting a remorseful saiyan apology like he wanted; he got a finger right back in his own chest. "Have you lost your mind?"
"Have you lost yours!?" Vegeta spat back, "It is war out there, and that's not what I was enlisted for!"
Shakuhachi had no choice but to walk past Vegeta and sigh deeply. He partially knew what he signed up for when he requested saiyan help for the invasion, so their barbaric nature served him no surprise. The small alien shook his head and shut his eyes, "We'll continue as planned. Shinobue," He looked to his younger brother and the boy snapped to attention. "Prepare the cannon."
"The cannooooooooon!"

'Finish this, Goku,' kept replaying through the boy's head. Goku formed his fist, still staring at his glowing hand after K finished transferring his remaining energy to him. Vines were still shooting out and whipping rapidly, instantly causing a shift in his movement; flying to the side to avoid being split in half. He took a deep breath, the small flame on his forehead still blazing, and his eyes still shining a brilliant crimson.
His eyes locked onto the center of the giant tree, which seemed to be the power source and tried to think out a plan of attack. His thinking time was very brief, a wild vine tried to stab him through his chest, and he flew out of the way. Goku landed on top of the water and immediately started moving around the base of the tree, throwing shuriken rapidly trying to create an opening for himself.
The more time went on, he noticed the center of the tree starting to glow brighter and brighter. The shurikens he threw were flung back at him, forcing himself to dodge his own attack, gritting his teeth when he nearly slipped. A vine managed to wrap around his ankle, the boy hissing in pain as thorns sprouted into his ankle and made blood drip down. The vine shot him into the sky and hung him upside down.
His spiky hair blocked his view for a second, "Damn it!" He yelled out when his vision was restored and saw two wooden hands sprout out from the tree faster than he could anticipate, cupping around him and connecting together with a snapping sound. Vines slowly creeped out from the wood to hold it all together. Things went dark for a moment, and when the insides of the wooden hands lit up, he saw that he was within the palms; still hanging by the vine digging deep into his ankle. His leg was beginning to feel numb, and the sensation was spreading to the rest of his body.
Goku could see small blue particles floating through the air, blinking slowly as he felt the flame on his forehead flickering out of existence. He tried to form a seal and generate some kind of counter, but there was no response. His body was stiff, suspended in the middle of the orb the giant tree had created. The energy boost he received from K was was short lived and that glimmer of hope seemed to be fading away by the second.
On the outside, more giant hands were sprouting out from the tree and gathering up the remainder of Konoha ninja and trapping them in the same orb between the wooden palms. The screams of shinobi losing their last bit of energy ringed through the Kumo shinobi's ears. K was the only ninja left skillfully avoiding being trapped and drained off all his energy. The black haired ninja stuck to the wall, and when he looked up a vine was whipping out in his direction. He jumped away once more, drawing a kunai and slicing through all the wild vegetation and tried to make a path toward the pod Goku was being held in.
As he leapt out, a lance made of wood shot out at untraceable speeds and stabbed him through the stomach, pinning him to the wall. He let out a quiet grunt of pain as blood started to pour out from his wound, but he was still trying to plot his escape. The man grabbed at the finely sharpened piece of wood and tried to get it out, but vines crept up from the water covering the ground and tied around his ankles, and before he could move his arms more spear-like pieces of wood shot out and pinned his arms in place. He was slowly being covered in vines that were starting to grow out of control and block his view as well as restrain him.
For the first time that day, the arena was nearly silent. All of the shinobi opposing the giant sentient tree were either trapped within a wooden pod, dead, or pinned down and covered in vines. Any loose vines that were previously whipping out wildly were slowly slithering back to the tree, so it could gather the proper energy to enter the next stage of whatever it had planned.
On the inside of the biggest pod within the arena, Goku was still swinging back and forth; slowly feeling his energy slip away from him. It was the weakest he had ever felt in his life, his eyes were heavy and he was blinking slowly. His consciousness was fading and he knew it, initially beginning to accept his fate after seeing how quickly his energy had been depleted, but a large quake from not too far from the arena caused everything the shake. It gave him a small jolt of adrenaline as the vine he was hanging from slowly started to swing toward the wall of the pod.
Moving as much as he could he tried to free up any form of weapon he could use to his advantage, managing to empty the contents of his pouch, and watching almost helplessly as his weapons fell and clanked against the bottom of the pod. Lucky enough for Goku he grabbed a shuriken before it got out of reach and threw it st the vine holding him upside down with as much strength as he could.
It cut through cleanly and he fell to the ground with a thud, getting even more cuts and nicks when he landed on top of his stash of weapons. It only took seconds for the tree to respond, the pod quickly creaking open and faint light poked through. Goku panicked and grabbed as many of his items as he could before a quick whipping vine tried wrapped around his ankle and threw him into the sky.
He once again managed to cut himself free with one of his reacquired kunai, now free falling to the ground. Goku adjusted his body in mid air as he slashed through another sentient vine trying to capture him. He didn't have enough chakra to spare to keep himself from plunging under the water. The tree didn't give up on its assault, trying to restrain the genin. Once he went under water he was instantly wrapped up in vines. It pulled hard toward the base of the tree, the alien boy slamming right into it; splinters stabbing into his face.
It roughly dragged him up the base, more shrapnel from shinobi weapons and splinters destroying his skin and reopening wounds. The bloody Saiyan was tortured all the way up to an orb in the center of the tree, which when his skin slightly touched it was made of a gelatin like substance that he almost passed through before he stopped. When he came in contact with the jelly-like orb it felt like he was healing for a split second. He was breathing heavily trying to regain his bearings and potentially make a move, but a soft sensation on his forehead made him freeze.
Even though his eyes were nearly swollen shut, he looked up, and if he could he would've went wide eyed when he saw an infant grinning back at him. Big purple orbs full of innocence peeked through locks of long green hair covering its face. It cooed as it poked Goku's forehead repeatedly, "ka-cha, ka-cha, ka-cha."
He couldn't tell if it was just unintelligible mumbling or if the baby was actually saying something meaningful. Despite the situation Goku cracked something of a smile on his battered face, "Are you the one causing all this trouble?"
The baby laughed and continued poking him, "ka-cha, ka-cha, ka-cha."
Goku winced in pain when the baby grabbed a lock full of hair, continuing to mutter something. It also surprised him with its strength when it pulled hard enough for him to be dragged into the jelly like substance. A burning sensation covered his entire body as his wounds began healing at a rapid rate. He smiled while his body suddenly started recovering, his head turning slightly as he watched the baby float around in the jelly substance still singing the same 'ka-cha,' as it moved.
His attention was turned away from the adorably destructive baby when he noticed just how big the orb they were in was. Toward the bottom of it, he saw an unconscious 19 floating. Goku furrowed his brow slowly moving toward the floating body, 'Is he… dead?' He asked no one in particular, the sound of the baby still in the background. He moved in cautiously, noticing that there was a giant hole in 19's stomach that was slowly healing thanks to the substance, "Did he…?" He turned his head to look at the baby, starting to piece together what just happened here. "YOU'RE A DAD! - Or mo-"
A pale white palm suddenly grabbed him by the shirt, "Son Goku," 19 jolted back to life in an instant with a devilish grin on his face. He lifted his other hand and a blade slowly slid out, "The time to sacrifice yourself to the cell is now." Before he could slash the vulnerable Goku's throat open, a loud cry from the baby shook the entire orb.

The remaining citizens ran amuck through the streets of Konoha, all scrambling to get to the Hokage monument. Everything was on fire, the root of it being the hospital which was the target of a large scale attack. Bombs were planted at the bottom of it, and at the beginning of the stadium fiasco it was blown to smithereens along with everything around it. Those who were trapped in the area were patiently waiting for reinforcements.
There were shinobi anchored on every corner trying to help civilians escape, but their efforts were continuously pushed back. The thick smoke made it hard to see and breathe already and to make matters worse, everyone was being picked off like they were prey in a sick hunters game.
The strongest squad of shinobi were holding their footing in front of the remains of the hospital. It was a mixture of ANBU, Jounin, and Chuunin. The lead ninja was an ANBU member with a Katana drawn, ready to battle against the next wave. They weren't even sure what they were up against, or how many people they were fighting. It felt like an entire army, but they moved so quickly there was no way possible it could be.
A strong feeling of killing intent made everyone alert, the Captain tightening as he readied himself for the next wave. Through all the fire he saw demonic eyes pierce through all the smoke and lock onto the squadron, "Everyone, get-"
The masked man was sent flying back, through the burning hospital and didn't appear to be returning to the main battle. The remaining shinobi all froze in horror when their enemy was now standing among them. He was the size of a pre-teen, desert garbs covering a majority of his body. Most of them didn't have the heart to attack him head on, but someone finally gulped deeply and charged forward with a loud yell.
The alien side stepped and quickly planted his knee in his gut, the Konoha shinobi spitting out blood and falling over to the ground. The heavily covered assailant was quick to pick his next target, jumping out himself and grabbing another shinobi by the throat. He tossed him into the air and shot a strong blast of ki, making it rain blood and guts everywhere as the shinobi exploded. Another shinobi shot forward with a kunai aimed at the alien's chest. He grabbed the Konoha ninja's wrist and pulled hard, using him as a human shield as he was suddenly bombarded by a fireball.
He backpedaled, grinning as their impromptu plan went awry. The ninja was burnt to a crisp, while his own clothes were only slightly singed. He wriggled the kunai away from the burnt body and used his expert marksmanship to throw it right at the person who sent the fireball his way. It landed cleanly in his throat and he clutched at it before kneeling over and choking on his own blood.
The Konoha squad notice they were thinning and decided to spread out. The alien's eyes were constantly scanning the area seeing where they could possibly go. He knew they wouldn't leave the civilians out to die, so he decided to shift his focus. With one simple hand sign he gathered energy and suddenly spat out a giant fireball toward the closest helpless child he could find. When he saw something connect and the area go up in even more of a blaze he smirked.
Before he could confirm his kill, he nearly lost his footing as a lightning covered hand almost cut his head clean off. He ducked low and retreated from his position. As he moved away, he was caught off guard by a coat of thick ash that covered him and the entire area. The alien dashed through the village streets trying to avoid whatever was poised to happen next.
A trio of men landed on top of the burning hospital, even more taking the ground to help flush out the civilians. A heap of gravity defying white hair was bouncing back and forth with his hands at his sides, and on the right of him was a man clad in green; donning a smile on his face despite the state Konoha was in. On his left was a tan shinobi with a scruffy beard and a cigarette hanging limply from his mouth, "Kakashi," he said as he nudged his fellow Jounin.
Kakashi nodded and lifted up his headband, revealing a spinning sharingan eye that immediately started scanning their sector of the village. He identified a moving figure that stood out amongst all the Konoha shinobi. Kakashi quickly whipped out a kunai that crackled with electricity and shot it out into the mass of flames and debris to pin his target.
He saw it connect due to his augmented vision from his Sharingan, "Now!"
A simple flick made the thick cloud of ash flare to life and explode, shaking the entire area; the three jounin guarding themselves from damaged pieces of the village flying in every direction. Their assault didn't stop there, Asuma moving into a set of hand seals that Kakashi copied using his sharingan. Might Guy was slowly back pedaling on the roof before taking off running and leaping off the top of the building.
In unison the two men gathering chakra screamed, "Fūton: Daitoppa!"
Using the momentum created by his teammates, Guy shot forward like a rocket and closed in on his target in an instant. The target of their combined attack was burnt to a crisp on the ground, and to add insult to injury Guy pounced on top of him and skid his body through the dirt like a skateboard. The taijutsu specialist flipped backward and landed with a pose, "YOSH!"
Asuma and Kakashi landed on to the ground beside him, Kakashi; the unanimously chosen leader of the 'alien resistance' was the first to move forward and inspect the body. It was burnt to a crisp, a majority of the right side of its body was missing and leaking blood heavily. Kakashi was never one to assume however, drawing a kunai and flooding it with chakra to increase it's cutting power. Before he could move in for the kill, a green hand stretched out and snapped around his throat. It started to clench down, lifting him off of the ground while doing so.
The alien started to sit up, underneath his desert garbs, he was wearing a white scarf around his neck, which was badly burned, as well as white pants. His destroyed green torso was starting to stitch itself back together and a new arm started to sprout out. He brow was furrowed as he looked at the two Konoha jounin standing before him, while still choking Kakashi in the air, "Don't move, or the Copy Ninja dies."
Both shinobi grit their teeth, but ultimately knew Kakashi was strong enough to handle himself.
The young extra terrestrial knew not to make eye contact with Kakashi, looking up at the giant ship casting a shadow of the village of Konoha. He saw a hatch opening and something being lowered, "This is your only chance to surrender and survive, or else you'll perish with miserable village."
Guy furrowed his brow, "NEVER IN A MILLION LIFETIMES WOULD WE DO SOMETHING SO UNYOUTHFUL!" He exclaimed while balling up his fists.
The alien shook his head, and suddenly whipped his elastic-like arm into the sky and flung Kakashi like a rag doll. It took less than a second for Asuma to retaliate, one of his own chakra blades being flung like a boomerang, and cutting his arm off. He took it as his chance to retreat, but even Kakashi flipped in mid-air to regain his bearings, while also throwing lightning covered shuriken at his back trying to pin him down.
The alien, however, was too fast; moving in a zig-zag pattern as he disappeared deeper into the burning village. Kakashi landed on the ground cursing, about to take off right after him, but a loud whirring sound coming to life made him look into the sky.
Pointed right at the center of Konoha was what looked to be a giant cannon. It took no time for it to gather energy, all three Konoha jounin's eyes widening when it flared to life and shot out a beam of energy stronger than anything they had ever seen in his life; instantly decimating the center and it began moving throughout. Strings of explosions followed in its path and Kakashi could no longer gawk in awe once he noticed it was heading in their direction, "EVERYONE, RETREAT!"
The entire squad he brought with him took off in the opposite direction trying to find cover but despite how quickly they moved; it seemed the cannon was gaining on them as it tore through the village. One ANBU member stupidly looked back and got tripped out as they retreated. There was no blood, gore, or scream of pain. He was turned to dust in less than a second and even the fastest shinobi of the group couldn't keep their pace.
More and more were deleted from existence by the powerful cannon, and just when things were starting to look worse; it cut off in a different direction and continued its war path. The entire fleet of Konoha shinobi took a deep breath, some of them collapsing to the ground having avoided the single most destructive thing they'd encountered in their lifetime, "This is worse than the nine-tails," one of the tired ANBU members mentioned as Kakashi watched the direction it was moving in.
The entire village was now up in flames, Kakashi clenching his fist; feeling like he was failing, but this was something they had yet to encounter. When he saw the cannon take another sharp turn and complete its first tear through the village; he gulped, "We have to keep moving, it's coming again!"

The orb shook violently as the baby cried out, 19 freezing all of a sudden and floated away from Goku. The spiky haired alien boy swam away from 19 and toward the baby, and the outside. The green haired infant swam and nudged Goku, the Kumo genin feeling an obligation to take the baby with him now. He held the baby close as he crawled out of the jelly-substance, and took a deep breath once he encountered air once again. He was dripping from head to toe, but he was fully restored in spite of it.
The boy looked at the destroyed arena, still holding the baby close, since he wasn't sure if it was the infant or 19 that controlled the sentient tree. The wooden hands all around started to crack and break down, while the vines that were holding all the shinobi in place began to retract. He let out a sigh of relief, when he saw his sensei who was pinned to the wall starting to fall toward the ground.
Goku leapt forward and skipped across the surface, catching K on his shoulder before he went under water. He didn't spare the same feelings for the other shinobi that fell from their holding and landed in worse positions than they were. No one else was conscious other than him and the baby. His sensei desperately needed medical attention, and now he had a child in tow to make matters worse.
The Saiyan suddenly snapped to attention when the arena began shaking, and before he could react a giant beam of energy tore through the wall of the arena adjacent to him and was approaching fast. He was frozen in place, nearly accepting his fate, and closed his eyes. He heard a loud crashing sound, but the fact that he was still alive urged him to open his eyes. There was an electric like barrier erected around them, and the caster appeared to be the baby he was holding that was currently crying. The beam bounced off of barrier with ease, leaving Goku standing in awe.
The cannon tore through the opposite wall from which it entered and continued on its set path. The wall eventually began fully crumpling, and Goku turned around to see another split in the arena. It wouldn't be long before the entire arena fell to the ground, so he was looking for his opportunity to escape and find help.
The baby continued crying and Goku tried to do his best motherly impression and rock it slightly, "Eh, it's going to be okay little Ka-cha."
"Ka-chaaaaa!"
As the stadium started to fall to the ground, Goku leapt from pieces to debris to make it out alive, and was now thinking where he could possibly find any of his teammates, or Bulma. In the ideal world they were properly evacuated, but the entire village was in complete disarray. He landed in the streets of Konoha with something of a thud, still making sure little 'Ka-cha,' remained unharmed. For now he would find a hiding spot so he could treat K's wounds and also decide what to do with the baby he found.
He tried to feel out where a majority of the battling was going on so he could avoid it, and gain some kind of sense of direction in this foreign village. Evacuating was his best option, since he had his sensei in tow to instruct him once he recovered, and his teammates had Master Roshi. Bulma was a genius in her own right and probably had something up her sleeve.
A light bulb went off in Goku's head, having to hold over his shoulder and Ka-cha in a semi-uncomfortable position to dig through his own pockets. He a single capsule that he dropped on the ground and stepped on to force it to open, and within was a case full of capsules that he needed for survival.
God, he loved Dr. Briefs, and he loved his inventions even more so.
Cracking open another capsule revealed his one true love.
"ATV-CHAN!"
Now it was officially time to move.

Another ten minutes had passed in Konoha as the cannon continued to rage on, everything in every part of the village was in flames, and there wasn't a soul in sight. For now, the fighting had paused, because whoever was alive on Konoha's end went to find adequate hiding, and the opposition retreated to the giant ship in the sky for their own safety. The only invader of Konoha left on the ground was the young alien who had escaped three of Konoha's strongest jounin earlier.
He knew which parts of Konoha the cannon would and would not hit. He assumed that the strongest of the Konoha bunch would find its blind spots as well, but that was the plan. The alien boy dusted off the debris that managed to cling onto his body, he now had fully recovered due to his regeneration factor.
He did a quick scan before stepping out into the open, now right under the ship in the village center. He looked up as the same hatch that opened up to unleash the onslaught of the cannon was beginning to retract. The next phase of their plan was about to commence and he watched idly as a taller alien leapt out from the forced open door and landed in the center right in front of him.
In his hand was a scroll that he rolled onto the ground, "Nail-kun, aren't you excited!" Shinobue couldn't contain his joy.
Nail was stoic and unraveled the scroll as he was instructed to. There was a simple seal in the center of it, and both boys standing around it instantly began to form a multitude of hand seals. The seal on the scroll began to shine uncontrollably an electric blue color, nearly blinding them both. Shinobue couldn't hold in his excitement, and Nail had a furrowed brow; almost appearing worried about what was going to happen.
From the seal, a giant metal container was unleashed. The front of it fell to the ground and smoke slowly started to creep out of it. Nail jumped away, wary of the giant being that was beginning to step out of the case they just unsealed. Shinobi was jumping up and down full of glee when he saw the giant alien they just unleashed. He clapped repeatedly, as the alien started to stand at its full height.
Both boys kneeled to the ground when it assumed its full stature. Easily the most physically menacing being either of them had seen, they had no choice but to respect the legends they heard. Green skin contrasted perfectly with the orange flames in the background, pointy ears perking up with slight joy as they were filled with the sound of destruction. He smirked, showing his razor sharp fangs and his piercing eyes looked down on the boy kneeling at his feet. The man stood eight feet tall, and he felt larger than life, "I never thought I would be young again," He snickered to himself. "Nail, Shinobue; you two have done me so well." He burst out a maniacal laugh when he took a look around him. "These humans thought things couldn't get worse, but… I have arrived!"
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you King Piccolo," Nail said respectfully, continuing to bow.
"Stand up," King Piccolo order both of his subordinates when he felt something approaching. "The time to defend our new home is now."
From every corner, heavily damaged shinobi donning Konoha garb were emerging to take their last stand against the invaders. Leading them all was Hatake Kakashi. He had taken a lot of damage, the only clothing item on him remaining intact were his pants, and the rest of his body was heavily burned. Nearly all the Konoha shinobi looked like this, not being able to dodge the onslaught of the cannon for the fifteen straight minutes it destroyed Konoha.
The legendary copy ninja didn't waver in the presence of the eight foot tall alien, "We won't leave Konoha… without a fight," He said as he stepped forward.
King Piccolo smirked, "You Konoha shinobi have tried so hard to bring my empire down, for years at that. You're a diligent bunch, I'll give you that, but.. This is no longer Konoha." He clenched his fist and lowered his head, "This is now, AJISAGAKURE!"

OK SHIT, FINAL BATTLE? I know I take a long time to update but life's a b****. I can't even promise regular updates from here, but hopefully more frequent. (Once a month? Maybe?) But since I've dreamed about completing this arc for so long, there's no way I could leave his unfinished. I've been fantasizing about where I could take this for the longest and I don't plan on letting life distract me, so cheers my wavy family, and let's hope and pray for regular updates and amazing chapters.
