So this story is close to the end. Boo hoo, sniff sniff. I thank everyone for reviewing and pushing me on with my ideas and writer's block moments. I'm not sure how many chapters are left but it should be interesting. Read and enjoy, I'll see you at the bottom.

"Was it good for you too?" I asked.

"Immensely, Darlin'." Jasper replied.

"Well lets get a move on back to the house. I need to talk to Leah about her imprint". I commented.

"Darlin' the Major promised that you could be in charge until we got back but I think you need to feed first.". Jasper hedged.

"I agree. Stop off in Seattle before going home?" I asked.

"Sounds fantastic."

We got to Seattle and made our way to a seedy part of town. We could hear a group of men discussing a home invasion. By the sound of the heartbeats there were five of them. They must be some sort of gang. They mentioned making sure this one goes perfectly. So I guess this isn't their first go round. Two seem to be arguing with a third about not cleaning up his messes anymore. I hope that doesn't mean what I think it means. "Well if you would stop being a pussy about a little blood spilled we wouldn't be having an argument about this!" "A pussy you say tell that to the four year old twins that you torched." I was wrong, very very wrong! I feel like getting messy on this one.

"What's got ya feeling mischievous there Darlin'?" Jasper drawled.

"How do you feel about getting messy Cowboy?" I cooed.

"Depends, are we talkin' drain 'em and ransack the place or blood play?" Jasper asked while stalking towards me and caging me between his arms and the wall.

"You can't talk like that and look at me with such lust it's very distracting." I giggled.

"Blood play it is then." Jasper growled.

We burst into the building and room the men were in and took them by surprise. Of course one of them had to try and be brave and shot at me. I now have three bullets holes across my front. That felt weird like being hit with a piece of fruit. Cherry maybe or possibly raisins. Oh well, who cares. Another man tried to slice jasper up with a Bowie knife and in turn broke the blade instead. Jasper snapped his arm in half and I moaned just slightly when his bones protruded and blood splattered on Jasper's face and chest.

Jasper sniffed the air in my direction and smirked. He twirled the guy around so that the man was facing me. I sunk my teeth into the idiot shooter and drained him quickly just as Jasper used his fingernail to slice open the idiot with the broken knife. The blood splattered all over me and Shooter. I dropped the body, licked my lips and wiped the blood from my face and sucked on my fingers. Jasper then took a bite out of his neck and drank him down messily.

The three other men finally got their wits about them and started to scramble for an exit. It was quite funny to watch. I watched Jasper break the leg on two of them while the third just cowered in the corner. I pulled the coward in the corner to me and he started begging for his life. He even went so far as to tell me about all their crimes related to unsolved murders. I shushed him and patted his head reassuring him of his safety. Jasper drained one of the men with a broken leg before bringing the other to me. He nodded his head at me grunting while the man whimpered. I drained him but not before slashing his chest and spraying blood all over Jasper.

After my second body drained I looked at Jasper and then at the coward in the corner. I smirked and wanted to take the man to the woods, Jasper growled.

"Woods?" I asked.

"Woods." He agreed.

I busted a bottle of vodka and splashed it all around the room. I grabbed a lighter off the table in the corner, lit the alcohol and left to catch up to Jasper.

Jasper and I strolled back into the yard hand in hand with shit eating grins on our faces. Every wolf we passed looked terrified until they smelled the air coming from us and finally let out a breath they had been holding. Of course on the other hand the vamps that saw us just smirked and went about their business. I could swear though that Peter made a crack about missing a spot. Whatever the hell that means. The few council members and imprints that were there had shocked looks on their faces and two imprints actually ran to their wolf for comfort and reassurance. What is everyone's deal?

My dad came out of the house and when he saw us his face flashed a smile, then terror before finally settling on what looked like constipation. Again I say what's up with that? He kept walking towards us but kept his eyes averted to the ground.

"Major, might I have a word with my daughter before the two of you freshen up?" He questioned. His stance submissive and nervous. He dug one steel toed boot into the grass while clasping his hands behind his back.

"Of course Chief."

"Bells honey, I'm not going to ask if you had a good time because it's written well all over you, head to toe. I have read about this sort of thing with vampires but to see it in person is a little freaky. And on my daughter well, I'm not going there. I did want to say that you really need to talk to your sister. She's fighting the imprint which I don't understand because the rest of the pack has accepted Elle as Seth's imprint but she seems to think that they will banish her for imprinting on Dominic. At least that is what Seth has told me."

"Okay, well that's why we are back so I can talk to Leah but why are you acting so weird. The Major and I and Enyo had a little discussion and we sorted things out. You don't have to worry about me or my welfare with Jasper because everything is perfect." I explained.

"It's not your welfare I'm concerned about sweetheart. It's the fact that you are covered in blood. I thought the Major said you had perfect control for a newborn. It's looks like you massacred an entire town and Jasper was caught in the crossfire." He replied.

Oh.

"Sorry dad, didn't have a mirror on me to realize how much of a mess I am. I didn't lose control while feeding though, this was bloodplay. And that goes for the sticks and mud and grass as well. Trust me, you should have been worried for Jasper. Enyo gave him quite the torture session before we found that gang to feed on." I explained.

"Well it's good to know my baby girl can take care of herself but please go inside and wash up you look like you just stepped off the set of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre." He chuckled.

"Will do Daddy, will do."

"Seth! Where's Leah?" I yelled.

"Damn Sis, scream much?" Seth chuckled.

"Ha ha. I need to chat with her. Girl talk and all that."

"Yeah yeah. She went off on patrol even though its not her turn. I think she's trying to avoid all of us and her vamp." Seth sighed.

"What did I miss so far?" I asked.

"We'll she thinks that since she's the only female wolf that her role in the pack is built more toward having and raising the next generation rather than being a valued fighter and protector. And of course imprinting on a vamp means she won't be able to half that. So she's avoiding us for fear of ridicule and avoiding him before she can no loavoid live without him.". He explained.

"And you think her fears are wrong?"

"Absolutely and so does the pack. We are so happy for her but she won't listen to us." He replied sadly.

"I see and where is Dominic? Does he know all about this?"

"yes but she is refusing to look at him for fear of falling deeper into the imprint."

"Okay, thanks Seth. I'm going to catch up with Leah and try to get her to come around.". I said.

"Thanks Bells you're the best!"

"I know."

I ran off following Leah's scent but it kept mixing with the rest of the pack so I got confused. Thankfully Dominic's scent popped up so I followed his instead. Seems he must be chasing or stalking her. I could feel his presence and knew I was close to him as well as her.

I finally caught up to him leaning against a giant oak. He was staring off into the distance. He seemed sad and anxious and his foot kept moving forward like he was about to take a step but never did. He was in a zone and didn't hear me approach. When he noticed he crouched and growled before straightening again.

"Hi Bella. What's got you out here? I thought you were with the Major?" He asked.

"You and Leah. My sister can be overly stubborn about ninety-five percent of the time so I guess I need to talk to her.". I replied.

"She hates me. Why does my mate hate me?"

"She doesn't hate you. She thinks she's letting down her people. The imprint is supposed to lead them to the person who is their soulmate. But Leah thinks that since she is female her job in the pack is to produce more wolves. You being her mate means that can't happen. I can tell you though that she's avoiding you so that she won't fall further in love with you." I explained.

"What's an imprint?" He whispered.

"It's the wolf version of a mate."

"She loves me?" He asked.

"Undoubtably so."

"Should I go to her?"

"Give a moment to talk to her first but stay within earshot so you know when to come closer." I gently assured him.

"Oh I can hear her from hear she's been mumbling about how she'd rather see Sam's thoughts of Emily rather than deal with this situation." He paced and ran his fingers through his hair. "Who's Sam? An old lover?"

"Something like that, let me talk to her and then she can explain everything to you okay?!" I hedged.

"Alright."

When I reached the little clearing she was standing in she was pacing and mumbling 'why me'. Then she kicked a small tree snapping the trunk in half. Oh this is going to be painful and long. Maybe I should text Jasper first and tell him I'll be awhile. Oh well time to face the pissed off she wolf.

"Now Sis what did that tree ever do to you?" I chuckled. She jumped.

"Oh Bells you scared me! I didn't hear you coming." She squeaked.

"It's understandable you're distracted but shouldn't you have smelled me at least?!" I asked.

"Well you see that's the thing, you smell good to us Bella unlike the rest of the lee- um I mean vampires."

"Does that leeches reference cover all vampires or are there one or two exceptions?" I asked.

"Leave it to my sister, the chief's daughter to cut right to the chase. No he smells good to me as well." She admitted.

"Well now there's a start. We can build on that. Tell me specifically what you like and dislike and I might give you a bit of secret information." I bargained.

"I like everything about him Bella, that's the problem. Even when he stubbornly follows me around trying to get me to look at him and touch him and talk to him. AAAAAAH! From the moment I went to distract him from Seth and Elle I have been madly in love with the very thought of him. But that's the rub, the tribe will hate me, him, us." She explained.

"That dear sister is where you're wrong. The pack already supports you just as they support Seth." I replied with a smile.

"They do?"

"Of course but you already know that. You've talked to Seth about this. He's speaking for everyone because he knows that you're afraid of what the others will say to you."

"And you're sure that they support this?" Leah whispered.

"I'm positive Leah."

She paced again before stopping quirking her head at me. "You said you had a secret for me." She smirked.

"I came back from my 'talk' with the Major covered in blood and mud, twigs and leaves and nearly gave Charlie a heartache and grossed him out from embarrassment both at the same time."

"That's not a secret I saw that in the pack mind. Poor Charlie!"

"Okay I'm kidding the secret is that he loves you." I admitted.

"Charlie?"

"No Dominic you dolt!" I scoffed.

"Of course he loves me, the imprint does that to him." She huffed.

"Yes the imprint does push the person to love the wolf but I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about you being mates." I started.

"Bella what are you talking about? Mates is part of the imprint." Leah replied with a quizzical stare.

"Yes but again I'm not talking about wolves I'm talking about vampires. You my dear sister are his mate." I said with a smug grin.

"Did he tell you that? God why can't he just let me suffer in peace." She growled.

"No I figured it out when his scent changed and he started asking the mini pack about the tribe and the pack and in particular you. The only female wolf.

"You're not lying, this is reciprocated?" She whispered so low I almost didn't hear it.

"Had you stopped running long enough to listen you would have gotten the explanation from me instead of your sister." Dominic said announcing his presence.

"I asked you to give me space Dom. Why can't you just listen for once?" She said as she started to back away.

Dom?

"Leah give him a chance can't you see he's hurting too?" I pleaded.

She stared at us for a moment longer before getting a devilish grin and phasing on the fly and heading off in the opposite direction.

"Real stupid move sis, now you'll be naked when you phase back. Oh if only there was a big strong man nearby to lend you his shirt." I chuckled and I heard her growl.

"Oh sweetheart, I told you before I'll tire you out before I give you up." He too disappeared into the trees. I could hear her yelp and his guffaw of a laugh before I turned back towards home. My work here is done.

Well, tell me what you think! Kisses my lovelies.
