In the midst of the bonfire that was Aro Volturi, there was what looked like another storm brewing and I wasn't so sure we would make it out of this one in one piece. I looked to Edward and he was pinching the bridge of his nose but Alice was tugging at his shirt with a big smile on her face. Rose and Emmett looked as nervous as I was but then I saw Marcus wave his arms in the air to gather the guard close.

All of them looked as if they were coming out of some sort of trance and a few looked ready to attack us but Bella and Jasper looked relaxed so I'm hoping everything is fine.

"Patience brothers and sisters, all is well." Marcus called out.

"Master you killed Master Aro, why?" Alec asked.

"Because he held us all hostage under Chelsea's bond of loyalty. It was not real or fair and you are now free. Caius and I wish to travel the world and will need someone to take control over the citadel. I would like to find my true mate or at least another companion like my sweet Didyme. Caius wishes to act like the 22 year old that he is and will no doubt drag his beloved Dora with him."

"But who would take care of it in your stead sir?" Jane questioned.

"I for one believe it would be most safe in the hands of the Major." Caius smugly answered.

"I will respectfully decline. I just want to spend about a century of alone time with my beautiful mate." Jasper replied.

"Even if he said yes, I would change his mind. Find someone else." Bella interrupted.

"Sir, would we be allowed to seek out our mates or come and go as we please as long as we abide by the rules of our kind?" Felix asked.

"Of course, I would never deny you the chance to find your mate. But the citadel still needs to be protected." Caius replied.

"I may have a solution for you if you are willing to listen." Edward said.

"What solution do you have young Edward?" Marcus asked.

"Leave Felix and Jane in charge while anyone else who does not have a mate or wishes to leave may go."

"Why Felix and Jane but not Alec or Demetri?" Caius asked.

"Because it looks as if Felix has found his mate in Jane but has yet to tell her for fear of upsetting Alec."

At that moment I looked at the odd couple and even though they seemed strange I could see the love in Felix's eyes and the longing for completion in Jane's. She seemed so sad and I wanted only to hug her. Edward looked in my direction and subtly shook his head. It seems my son actually thinks I would hug the girl. Do I want to be zapped by Jane, no thanks. Edward smirked at my comment. I may be compassionate but I'm not stupid.

"So it looks like Felix and Jane will be able to tend to the citadel together." Marcus chuckled.

"What are you laughing at old man?" Felix growled.

"Calm yourself Felix, I just adore watching a bond being established. The aura itself is amazing but watching the facial expressions are hilarious. For instance you looked terrified that she will deny you while Jane actually looks submissive hoping you will accept her." Marcus replied.

I watched the odd couple for a moment before they finally decided to make a move towards each other. He timidly raised a hand to her cheek and she kept her eyes lowered to his torso. When she didn't raise her glance to his he put two fingers under her chin and slowly lifted it to gently place a kiss on her lips. The kiss quickly became heated and Marcus took it upon himself to fake a cough. The couple looked in his direction before darting off into the woods. Caius yelled to the couple to make sure they were back in Volterra in two weeks time to discuss transitions of control.

So here we are now watching the Volturi make their grand exit. We now have to make our way back to our home with humans and wolves in tow. I guess it's up to me to find suitable transportation for everyone.

So it took several vampires to run off and find a few all terrain vehicles to get back to the valley we were situated in but we got it done. Now we are on our way back home and I'm actually glad I'm a vampire otherwise I'd be exhausted. The wolves were a bit worried that one of us vamps would take a bite out of the new imprint but thanks to Jasper's empath abilities the whole situation was cleared up quickly.

The girl in question seems to be some sort of runaway or has been on her own for such a long time that she is not aware if she has any family left to take her in. Also it seems that the girl was born in Spokane Washington so once we are settled in Forks the pack will help her look into her family background. I was so happy to see that they were happy and whole that I offered to meet them in the nearest large city to purchase a large SUV for those that wanted to ride back home instead of run. Jacob was very diplomatic about trying to refuse but he saw that the girl was still very shaken and a long ride on 'wolfback' would not make her transition into the pack any easier. In the end I met up with them at a local dealer and found a brand new shiny black Hummer that fit a majority of them comfortably.

Sometimes it's good to be the momma vamp!

Edward heard that one and is now snickering at me. Shut it, you and deal with your pixiepire! And again he's laughing. Alice is tugging at his sleeve while running beside him, I guess she wants to tell him something again. He leaned his head slightly in her direction, it's a strange quirk he picked up over the years. I mean he's listening to her thoughts not her words he doesn't need to lean. Oh well whatever we all have our faults.

"Jacob, Bella, Jasper. A word please?" Edward asked.

"What's up?" Jacob asked.

"We need to send a couple of wolves and vamps ahead. Alice said that Leah is going to go into labor soon but she can't see the end result. All the wolves are getting in the way, so to speak." He replied.

"Paul, Jared go now!" Jacob ordered.

"Captain what do you see?" Jasper asked.

"The baby will be fine as well as the wolf, but her mother doesn't understand the danger she faces. She is human and not a carrier of the gene. She could get hurt an"d refuses to leave her daughter's side. The chief is trying to control Sue but there is a problem." He stated.

"What is it?" Bella asked.

"The baby is hungry and venomous!" Alice shouted.

"Pet, what have I said about panicking?" Edward said.

"Edward, I don't have time to argue about etiquette ." Jacob argued.

"I agree with the alpha, we need to contact the brother or Dominic now. If they can force Sue away from the wolf then we can guarantee the baby doesn't harm any humans and can be controlled." Peter interrupted.

"But what of Leah?" I asked.

"She may have a bout of fever and vomiting but she will survive."

So it took some coaxing on Seth's part and Charlie's but in the end Leah threatened her mother with never seeing the baby and even that wasn't enough to sway her. Dominic had to physically remove her and the few vamps and wolves on the property kept guard. Not allowing Sue to return.

When we got back to the house poor Leah looked miserable. She was the size of a woman at nine months and she was barely over a week into her pregnancy. Surprisingly though she was extremely pleasant to Dominic even though he extricated Sue from the premises.

It seems as though right as we returned she was starting to hear the baby's thoughts and in turned the baby understood when they explained about venom and the humans nearby.

Everyone seemed to be focused on poor Leah and the baby. Every moment she made had Dominic jumping to attention and causing everyone in the house to freeze like they were hiding from a T-Rex in the Jurassic park movies. I'd find it funny if it wasn't for the unknown involving the baby.

Charlie escorted a nervous Sue back into the house today and she thankfully obeyed both Leah and Dominic. Leah finally managed to control her bloodlust but I believe it's because the baby is near delivery. Sue spent the entire afternoon with Leah trying to make her as comfortable as possible it was sweet how she was so attentive and that Leah controlled her wolf and let her mother dote on her.

It's been eight days since we got back to the house and something doesn't feel right. I can't place it but it's quiet and completely unnerving. Edward asked Alice what she saw and she gave a vague answer of changes. Changes? What does that mean? Sometimes I really want to strangle that little pixiepire!

"I heard that Esme!" Edward hollered.

"And your point, Edward!?" Nothing, more silence. "I didn't think so."

"Mistress? What did you say?" Carlisle asked.

"I called Alice a pixiepire." I replied.

A booming laugh came from the living room breaking the strange silence. Emmett. I love that boy as if he were my son.

"Pixiepire, that's awesome!" He guffawed.

Of course our moment was broken when an ear-piercing scream came from one of the guest bedrooms. Oh my, the baby is coming!

Sue was barking orders left and right but Dominic still feared for her safety and insisted that one of the vampires deliver the baby. Leah was doing surprisingly well and softly asked her mother to hold her up so she could push. I allowed Carlisle the courtesy of instructing Rosalie on delivery since I was sure no one trusted him to be in charge yet. Still not sure how long I'll keep my role as master over him yet.

Leah didn't have to push long the baby delivered in under 30 minutes once she was fully dilated. The baby was a beautiful dark skinned boy with a full head of black hair. His nose looked like Leah's and his chin was like Dominic's. The thing I found most startling was his green eyes! Once Rosalie handed him off to Dominic he nearly burst into hysterical laughter. Leah smacked him up side the head and demanded he stop laughing at the baby. Once he contained himself he explained that he was laughing at the fact that his son now had the eyes he was thankful to be rid of after years of ridicule from the kids on his Rez. Leah just stared at them and said I think they're perfect.

Dominic handed the baby to Leah and as she cooed and snuggled with him he in turn sniffed her and took a big bite of her breast! She took it in stride though and reprimanded him softly. Dominic just chuckled and told his son, 'I know mommy smells good enough to eat little man'.

They were having such a sweet moment until Leah calmly handed the baby to Rosalie and kissed Dominic before fainting.

Sooooooooo, I've been gone for some time! Sorry about that, been busy and it took me awhile to find my muse on this chapter. I really don't have much left to write on it and just planned to do a basics "walk off into the sunset" type of final chapter! Hope you liked this! Kisses my lovelies!
