I stepped into the lunch room, and every head swung to look at me, and then swung down to my arms which were at my sides, hanging limply. I wished I could just disappear, because, as the chameleon, I'm supposed to be invisible. I walked over to my table slowly, with Zach walking beside me, as if he was still assigned to follow me. As soon as I got there, Lizzie enveloped me in one of her bear hugs that involve the crushing of every bone in ones body. She had tears running down her cheeks, even though she was one of the two kids in our group that wasn't in that classroom. Macey had her lips pursed and looked on the verge of tears, and Bex was giving me the blank stare, which I knew was the face she used when she was trying so hard not to sob, and to let it all go.
I hugged Lizzie back. "I'm okay Lizzie, I really am."
Zach plopped down in the seat next, to me, and Macey gave him the evil eye, seeing as she was just about to scoot over and fill the space. Zach just looked down at his food, picked up an apple, and took a bite, completely oblivious to Macey's evil eye, which is practically impossible. They even affected Joe, who knew Hell was coming if Macey gave him an evil eye
"Why didn't you tell us Cam?"
"I didn't want to worry you with my problems. I can solve them myself. I would've told you but I just… couldn't."
"It's okay Cams, they get it." Grant spoke as he sat down. I pulled a straight face and started eating my lunch, thinking about P&E, and the rest of the day, and the rest of the week, the month, and the rest of my entire life. Maybe I would never forget, but if I had the choice, I wouldn't choose to forget.

I got to P&E earlier than everyone else, and started running laps. When everyone else finally got their, and got changed into their workout clothes, I was on my twentieth lap, full on sprinting. I slowed to a stop as the P&E teacher gathered everyone at the edge of the track.
"At Blackthorne we have a tradition." The guys looked excited, and I was suspicious immediately. The boys, actually happy! It's practically impossible. "Every year, I pair the boys up into teams,, and I send them out in the forest." One of the Gallagher girls looked over at him confused.
"Why exactly do you send them out in the forest for?" She asked, slight puzzlement in her voice. The boys all chuckled.
"I was getting to that." The teacher said, glaring at the girl impatiently. "As I was saying, I send the pair into the forest, and pit them against each other. They have to get each others team flags."
"So, we have to hide. You're asking a bunch of teenage spies to hide. In a dark forest with shadows. Ha." Another stupid Gallagher girl voicing her opinion.
"No. If you would actually let me finish." I let out a small giggle at this. These people really need to be quiet before they get killed by the teacher, or by me for being obnoxious. "I give them one aid. Each person in the exercise, will be give a gun."
The Gallagher girls burst out again, muttering disapproval at the idea of having armed guns in the forest against each other.
"IF YOU WOULD LET ME FINISH! As I was saying, everyone will be getting a gun. Not just any gun, but a paintball gun."
"We're gonna be playing with paintball guns!" I almost leaped with joy, time for the paintball wars to begin.
2/2! Keep reviewing! Love you guys!
