HEY ALL. AFEW PEOPLE REQUESTED THAT I DO LIZ AND JONAS FIRST, SO I WROTE THIS. I HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE IT!

LIZ POV

To say that Liz was frightened, would be an understatement. Liz was petrified. It wasn't that she had never been in the field before (because she had been), but because this would be her first time in the field without her team.

Liz had calculated that their team was 99.99% more effective than most. Well, that calculation might be a little more than numbers. It was based on several facts: such as the fact that when she was with her team, she was surrounded by the best spies in training, and maybe even in existence, in their specialities. It was based on the fact that they had never failed a mission- not even a part of one. So, maybe her calculation was a little biased, but they were the best team. Better yet, they were her team, and Liz was scared to death to be in the field without them.

Not that Jonas made things any better. The insanely intelligent, hot boy sat across from her on one of the several leather sofas the plane was provided with. He was currently typing on one of his several computers, and snacking on the goldfish that had been provided by one of his roommates, and the repetitive tapping of his fingers on the keyboard comforted Liz, but at the same time, made Liz a little queasy. She would be spending the next 3-4 months with Jonas, or Adrien Borde, as she should get used to calling him. Maybe she should come up with a nickname. They were supposed to be dating after all.

Liz went back to touching up on her French. Not that she needed that either after the two lunch periods that had been spent last week conversing in fluent French with her classmates. She had spent a majority of the plane ride touching up on her slang and French customs that she would need to be aware of. The other half was spent agonizing over every small detail on her file, and filling in holes where it was needed. She had memorized the file as she did with anything else, but she was anxious that it wasn't going to be enough to hold up a front.

Jonas set his laptop to the side and jumped over to one of the actual seat with a seatbelt while the pilot was still completing his announcement about the final descent into Paris. Liz timidly want and sat beside him, buckling herself in and settling for the planes landing. She watched out the window as the rolling countryside turned into city, and slowly became Paris.

Liz had been to Paris twice before. Once on a mission several years ago, and once with the girls for a "spring break" type of thing about two years ago. The Parisian vacation was full of authentic people, places, and food. Oh, she remembered how good the food was in Paris. She owned one of the best cafes in town. Well, her cover did.

The plane touched down and Jonas and Liz got into the waiting limo, Jonas opening the door for her and letting her in before sliding into the car himself. The ride was relatively short, which Liz was very grateful for. While they were driving, Liz and Jonas stared out opposite windows, almost pretending that the other didn't exist but she still felt his presence in the back of her mind.

The pulled up to a rather large cafe, and Liz and Jonas got our, before taking out all of their luggage and lugging it up the stairs to their mediocre apartment that lay above the food establishment. Jonas took out the key and unlocked the apartment door, before pulling his and Liz's bags through the door. Once inside he turned around to face Liz and grinned, speaking in French,

"Home sweet home, love." Liz sighed, before smiling brightly back at him.

And so it begins.
