"Maverick." Mercedes called out as she sat on one of the suitcases, watching as the last mover guy took a box to the truck. Today was the day that they finally moved into their new home. She was so excited that this was finally happening. She looked down and placed a hand on her belly, smiling at the thought of her and Sam bringing a new life into the world.

Maverick came down the stairs with one of his duffle bags in his hands. Seeing his mother sitting on her suitcase, he shook his head and let out a small laugh, "Are you ready?"

Mercedes looked over at him nodding, "Mhm..help me up." She reach out her hands, making grabby motions like a baby.

Maverick sat down his bag and walked over to her, reaching out to grab her hands to help her up. He smiled down at her, "It's our last time in here."

"Yeah." Mercedes rubbed his lower back gently, "You know if you don't want to do this all you have to do is tell me."

Maverick shook his head with a smile, "No..we're doing this. We have a family now and we wouldn't be a family if we're not together."

Mercedes smiled as she looked around the empty house, "We had some good memories in here." She wiped a tear that escaped from her eye.

Maverick placed an arm around her, wiping her tears, "We really did but it's time to go make some more in a new place.

"You're right." She grabbed her suitcase and headed for the door, giving the house one last look before she walked to the car.

"I'm driving." Her son yelled out as he made it to the driver's seat before her.

Mercedes looked up at the sky, "Lord be with me." She snickered when she saw Maverick glare at her, she opened the door and got into the car.

"Muffin are you ready?" Sam asked as he came back in the house from packing up the last of the smaller boxes in his truck.

Madison came around the corner with a smile on her face, "Yes." She walked to him and hugged him around his waist.

Sam smiled down at her, picking her up, he kissed her cheek before he pulled back and took one last glance at the empty house.

"You're going to miss it, aren't you?" Madison looked at her dad with a smile.

Sam chuckled, "I am but we're off to make new and exciting memories."

Madison nodded happily with a smile, "Yes with mama, Maverick, and the baby."

"Yep." Sam turned and closed the door behind them. He walked them to his truck and sat her down to her feet.

Madison opened the back door and got in, pulling her seatbelt across her. She smiled as she waited for him to get in, "I can't wait."

"Me either baby girl." Sam turn on his engine, smiling at the house as he pulled out of the driveway. He was going miss it but it was time to start fresh. Twenty minutes into the ride, Sam was pulling up into the driveway, seeing that the movers from both Mercedes house and theirs was here. They had gave them instructions on where to put their things ahead time so they wouldn't have to wait on the small family to come. Turning off his engine, he hopped out the car with his daughter in tow and opened up truck.

Madison smiled when she saw Mercedes coming out of the house, "Mama." She ran to her with a smile, wrapping her arms around her waist, kissing her clothed covered stomach.

Mercedes smiled down at the little girl, bending down to pick her up carefully, she placed a kiss on her cheek, "Hi baby girl."

"Hi." She wrapped her arms around her neck, looking behind her with a frown, "Where's Maverick?"

"I sent him to town to pick us up some dinner." She smiled at the young girl and led her into the house to her bedroom. There were three bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs. Maverick had chose the one downstairs, Madison had chosen the one upstairs, Sam and Mercedes was taking the one upstairs also and they were using the extra room for the baby.

Madison smiled as Mercedes sat her to her feet, stepping into her new room. She couldn't get over how much space she had. Her boxes were stacked neatly in the corner waiting for her to unpack them. She turned to Mercedes with innocent eyes, "Would you help me paint it tomorrow?"

"Of course sweetie." Mercedes rubbed her ponytail, bending down to kiss her forehead, "We can get up early tomorrow morning, make some delicious breakfast and I'll help you."

"Okay." She said excitedly as she hugged Mercedes around her waist aging before she went and started to take her clothes out her box to put in her closet.

Sam was coming up the stairs when he heard his fiancée and daughter talking. He couldn't believe that he had found someone who loved him and her unconditionally and he thanked the lord for that everyday. Coming behind her, he wrapped his arms around her waist, his hands circling her stomach, he kissed the side of her neck before he placed his chin on top of her shoulder.

Mercedes looked over at him with a smile, placing her hands on top of his, "She's so excited."

"I bet." He looked over at his daughter who was placing her things in her closet, "She loves you so much Mercedes."

"I love her too." Mercedes felt her eyes starting to fill up with tears, she laughed quietly, causing some of the droplets to come down her face, "Damn hormones."

Sam chuckled as he turned her around in his arms, kissing her lips softly, giving her a teasing smile, "Don't blame it on your hormones."

Mercedes rolled his eyes as she hugged him, wiping her tears with her hands.

He smiled as he rubbed her back gently, "Our furniture won't be here until tomorrow so we have no where to sit or lay down at."

"Good thing I brought air mattresses." She looked up at him through her lashes.

Sam nodded as he held onto her, "Yeah and we have plenty of blankets." He looked over when one of the mover guys said they were finish. Sam unwrapped himself from Mercedes and walked down the stairs, shaking their hands, he told them that they would see them tomorrow. Closing the door, he turned just to see Madison and Mercedes coming down the stairs, "I was thinking we get some pizza for dinner."

"One step ahead of you." Mercedes said as she walked to the door and opened it, there stood Maverick on the other side with two boxes of pizza in his hands and bag of waters in the other.

"I made it just in time. Traffic was started to get heavy and not to mention I got lost." Maverick said as he entered the house.

"You got lost?" Madison asked.

"Yes I did." Maverick sighed as he went and sat the boxes and water on the kitchen counter.

Mercedes laughed at him, "How did you miss the exit? We went through here six times so you could know where to go."

"I don't know what happened." He chuckled at himself, turning to them, "I'll be back down, I'm about to go shower."

"Okay sweetie." Mercedes laughed as she went to one of the unpacked boxes and grabbed some plastic plates and carrying them back into the living room.

Sam handed Madison the bag while he grabbed the pizza. Since their furniture was coming until the morning, they had to eat on the floor in the living room.

Madison crawled into Mercedes lap when they got on the floor, thanking her dad for fixing her pizza.

"Muffin do you want to come with mommy and I to her doctor's appointment next week?" Sam asked before he bit into a slice.

Madison eyes brightened as she turned to Mercedes, "Can I?"

"Of course." Mercedes smiled as she chewed through her food.

"Yay." Madison said as she went back to eating, seeing Maverick coming down the stairs, she smiled brightly.

Sam looked over at Mercedes with a smirk, "Our first family dinner."

Mercedes smiled as she laid her head down on Madison's, looking at him with a smile as she nodded.

Mercedes got up the next morning early to help Madison paint her room. The little girl decided that she wanted purple instead pink for her walls. About three hours later, they finished the room just in time because the movers were there with all of their furniture. Looking over to her paint covered little girl, "What do you think?"

"It's beautiful." Madison said as she scanned her room with wide eyes. Going to Mercedes, she wrapped her arms around her, "Thank you for helping me mommy."

"You're welcome baby girl." She kissed her forehead, looking at her, "Now, you go get cleaned up and I'll wash you hair before I start lunch."

"Okay." She smiled as she went to the bathroom and started her own water.

Mercedes took a breath as she step out of the room, running into Sam, "Hey."

"Hey my little paint monster." He smiled as he kissed her cheek.

Mercedes giggled as she looked down at herself, "Yeah, I guess we did get a little messy."

"It looks really good though." He said as he looked around the neatly painted room with a smile, "It'll be aired out by the time we finish dinner and we can set up her bed and everything else."

"Yeah." Mercedes put a hand on her stomach, "I'm glad we hired painters to do the other rooms."

"I don't think it's good for you to be doing that." He moved her hair out of her face.

"I know but I wanted to do this for Madi." She said quietly as she looked with her big brown doe eyes showing nothing but innocence.

"I know babe." He smiled as he hugged her, kissing her forehead softly. He turned his head when he heard Madison calling Mercedes, "You're being summons."

Mercedes smiled as she pulled away from him and headed to the bathroom to help her little girl finish up her bath and wash her hair.

A/N. Sorry it has taken me a month to update this and that it was so short. I promise I will do better. Few things I need to discuss actually. The sequel has been taken down because I feel like I can't balance four stories right now, so what I'm going to do is finish up the prequel before the new year and then, hopefully get it back up by the first weekend of January. Back to the story, they're finally moved in, yaaaaas! Of course Madcedes is adorable and the fluffiness will continue with them and Samcedes BUT the drama with Brenrick is headed your way. You will get to see some one on one time with Sam and Maverick also. You guys have a wonderful Christmas & New Years. Don't forget to stay safe and DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!
