Mercedes held onto her plate as she walked up the stairs. Its been a few days since Maverick has left and a lot has change in the house already. Her and Sam had decided to go ahead and start preparing the nursery..and boy wasn't that an adventure. The couple agreed on a light taupe color for the walls with an owl theme on one side and a dinosaur theme on the other. Having finished all the decorating and organizing of the clothes in the closet and drawers, it was time to do the last and most important thing today. Mercedes waddled into the room and sat down on the small couch, looking over at Sam with a smile, "Ready?"

"Absolutely." Sam said from his spot on the floor, sniffing the air, his nose scrunched up at the smell, "What are you eating?"

"Dill pickle spears with ranch dip." She smiled happily as she took the spear and ran it through the dip, popping the delicious treat into her mouth, "Want one?"

"No thank you baby." Sam said quickly. Every since Mercedes hit her fifth month of pregnancy, she has been having these weird cravings and eating the most random things together.

"Your lost." She smiled down at him as she bit down into another pickle.

Sam laughed as he pulled out the directions, "Okay, I've never been good with following these things, can you help me out?"

"Of course." Mercedes sat her plate on the table and got up, walking over to him slowly as she reached down and grabbed the paper from his hands, "It's real simple babe. The numbers are on the bags for an easy set up."

"Oh thank God." He pulled out the parts to start the first one, easily getting it put up in about thirty minutes and the other thirty minutes, he finished putting up the second one. Sam stood back and admired his work, "Not bad."

Mercedes smiled as she wrapped her arms around his waist, "It looks amazing."

Sam smirked, kissing her forehead as he took in the room that was now completely finish, "All we have to do now is wait for them to arrive."

"Mhm.." Mercedes looked up at him through her lashes, "And figure out names."

"Lets do that now." He grabbed her hand and led her out the room and down the stairs. He made a stopped to the kitchen to grab a snack for them both and then went to the living room, sitting down on the couch next to her, "I thought the suggestions at the baby shower were good but have you thought of any of your own yet?"

"Actually I have." Mercedes smiled as she grabbed one of the sliced mangos from the plate, "Have you?"

Sam nodded as he chewed on the strawberry, reaching over to grab his water bottle from the table, "For a boy, I really like the names Spencer and Stephen."

Mercedes tossed the names back and forth in her head for a few minutes, "I think l like Spencer more."

"Me too." Sam said before he picked up another piece of fruit and ate it, looking over at Mercedes, "What are we going to do for the middle name?"

"Since you have your dad's name as your middle, we could use your grandfather's name for him." Mercedes bit down on her lip nervously as she looked at him.

"Seriously?" Sam asked surprisingly, when she nodded, a bright smile appeared on his face. He leaned over and kissed her lips lovingly, "Spencer Dean Evans."

"I love it." She smiled as she kissed him back. Moving back, she rubbed circles around her growing belly, "Baby girl's turn." Mercedes picked up a strawberry and dipped it in the yogurt, "I always wanted to name my daughter Savannah Marie. What do you think about that?"

"Savannah Marie Evans." Sam said loudly, repeating it over again, he turned and nodded happily, "I love it. I can't believe we actually agreed on names."

"I know right. I'm very proud of us." Mercedes scooted over and sat in his lap, kissing him lightly on the lips.

"I am too babe." He mumbled across her lips with a smirk.

She kissed him before she breathlessly removed her mouth from his, hugging him around the neck before she pulled back and placed his hands on her stomach.

Sam smiled when he felt their babies kicking, beaming happily, "I'll never get tired of that."

Madison rolled her eyes for the hundredth time as she opened the front door to her house. She had spent the day with her Aunt Stacey, Uncle Stevie and his girlfriend, Rebecca, at the mall. She walked to the living room, where she found her parents cuddled up on the couch. Slipping off her sandals, she carefully climbed into Mercedes' lap and wrapped her arms around her, burying her face into the crook of her neck.

"What's wrong baby?" Mercedes asked sweetly as she rubbed her back.

"Uncle Stevie's girlfriend is so annoying mama." Her words came out muffled but Mercedes understood what she said.

"I couldn't agree with you more." Stacey said as she sat the bags down in the chair, going over to hug her brother and Mercedes, sitting down next to her, "She's like one of those flies that won't go away."

Sam chuckled at them, "I'm sure she's not that bad." He tucked his lips in when he saw Madison raise her head up and stare at him, Stacey doing the same, "Okay then.."

Mercedes laughed quietly, "Where are they?"

"We dropped her off at home but Stevie is outside on the phone with her." Stacey turned up her nose, "I'm sorry but I don't like her."

Sam sighed as he looked at his sister, "You never like any of the girls he dates."

"Because they're all.." She leaned over and covered Madi ears, "..sluts. That's why big brother."

Mercedes shook her head at her, letting out a small laugh, "I can't with you Evans'."

"You're going to be one soon." Stacey smiled as she removed her hands from Madison's ears, reaching behind her to grab some bags, handing them to Sam, "I brought something for the twins today."

"Thank you Stace." Sam smiled at his little sister.

Stevie opened the front door with a smile, walking into the living room, he gave Sam a hug and Mercedes a kiss on the cheek, "Hey guys."

"Hi Stevie." Mercedes said with a smile, biting her lip to suppress her laughter when Madison rolled her eyes as she got up from her lap and walked up the stairs to her room.

Stevie frowned when he saw Madison leave, "Did I do something wrong?"

"No.." Sam laughed softly as he looked at his little brother, "She's just tired."

"Lying is wrong daddy." Madison called out from the top of the stairs before she closed the door to her room.

Mercedes bursted out into laughter, covering her mouth as she held her stomach. She looked over at her fiancé with tears in her eyes, "You did tell her that."

Sam shook his head with a smirk, "I did." He looked at his siblings and stood up from the couch, "Come you two and help me fix lunch." He grabbed them by their shoulders and led them to the kitchen.

Mercedes tossed on her black and white striped tank and pulled up her capri black tights, laying back on the bed with a huff. Her and Sam decided to go to a lamaze class today. Since this was their first time doing this together, they were super excited to learn a few things that was going to help them with the birth of their twins, "Baby.."

Sam was just tying up his laces to his converses when he heard Mercedes call him. Standing up from the edge of the bathtub, he grabbed his t-shirt and headed inside the bedroom. He smiled when he saw her laid back on the bed, her round belly getting bigger and bigger by day just made him happier, "Yes sweetheart?"

"Can you help me with my hair please?" She pouted as she held her stomach, sitting up with a small

Sam nodded as he put on his shirt, walking over to her, he grabbed the brush and brushed her hair up neatly and put it into a bun. Taking the thick head band and placing it around her head, "There you go."

"Thank you baby." Mercedes said sweetly, reaching out her hands for him to grab.

"No problem." Sam smiled as he helped her up, placing a kiss on her cheek before he let her go. When Sam first got full custody over Madison, Stacey stopped him in his tracks of his 'just put in a ponytail' and given him full tutorial on how to do different hairstyles for girls.

Mercedes slip into her flip flops and headed towards Madi's room, opening the door, she smiled when she saw her and Stacey cuddled up on the bed watching a movie, "We're heading out you two."

"Have fun mama." Madison smiled at her.

"We will. Stay out of trouble.." She pointed at them, sending them a small wink before she shut the door. She smiled as Sam grabbed her hand and led her down the stairs carefully then out the door to the truck.

Sam drove for fifteen until he found the address. Pulling up into the parking lot, he squinted his eyes when he saw couples walking towards the private part of the beach, "I didn't know they did lamaze classes on a beach."

"We live in California Sam.." Mercedes chuckled as she unbuckled her seatbelt.

"I guess you're right." He smirked as he got out his truck, going to the other side to help her out.

"Thanks babe." She kissed his cheek after she closed the door, grabbing his hand as she led them to the sidewalk. She smiled at some of the couples as they grabbed a mat from the table and found a place to sit.

"Welcome all of you." The chipper young woman said with a big smile on her face, "My name is Kandace with a K and I'll be your instructor for this morning."

Sam helped Mercedes sit down on the mat, his hand never leaving hers as they sat side by side. He looked up at the perky red head strangely as she introduced herself.

"First we're going to go around and introduce ourselves and then we'll tackle the main things that will help you through your child's birth." She placed a finger on her chin before she looked around, eyes going directly to Mercedes and Sam, she smiled warmly, "Lets start with you two."

Mercedes sat up straight, looking around at everyone, "Um, hi..my name is Mercedes and this is fiancé Sam." She watched as Sam gave a small wave before she continued, "And we're expecting twins."

"How exciting! If you don't mind me asking, do you know what you're having?" One woman asked politely.

"A boy and a girl." Sam stated proudly.

"That's amazing. Congratulations." A couple said in unison.

"Thank you." Mercedes smiled, looking over at Sam, she kissed his cheek, holding on to his hand as they listened to the other couples.

"Great. Now that we know each other names and what we are all having, today we're going to some soothing positions that will help you breathe better." She nodded at her partner, Wes, as he came over and showed them first position to get into.

Sam rose an amused brow before he hovered over his fiancée, smirking at Mercedes, "This is how we got here in the first place."

Mercedes snorted as she pushed his shoulder, giggling lowly, "Shut up."

Sam smiled down at her, sneaking a little peck on her lips before he pulled back up and listened to the instructor.

Mercedes bit down on her lip, trying to listen to what the Kandace was saying but she was having a hard time focusing with Sam so close to her, "How exactly is this suppose to help me?"

"Your partner will rub your shoulders and you'll close your eyes and it's going to make you and your body relaxed. It's one of my favorite soothing exercises." Kandance answered.

Mercedes licked her lips as she stared at Sam, whispering to where he could only hear her, "This is actually making me really horny."

Sam eyes widen as he looked down at her, "Really?"

Mercedes nodded bashfully, "You're hovering over me, that's already one of my weaknesses, your lips are very red and kissable right about now and you smell really good."

"Lets cut this session short then and go handle that." He murmured quietly, smirking at the effect that he was having on her. If he was being honest right now, he has been trying to keep from tossing her over his shoulder and taking her home to get a little loving.

As much as she wanted to do just that, they really did need to stay for this class. Mercedes reluctantly shook her head, leaning up to kiss him quickly, "I'll be fine."

Sam let out a slow sigh, "Okay.."

Mercedes rubbed his cheek with a smile, pushing away all dirty thoughts she had floating though her mind and putting her focus back on the class.

After an interesting session at lamaze, Sam and Mercedes bided everyone a good evening and said that they would see them next week. The couple made a quick stop to the grocery store to get some things for dinner. When they got back home, they took their baths and Mercedes quickly finished and got dress so she could start on supper. She was real thankful that they made it back in time because it he just started to rain.

Mercedes turned the isle on low to let the food simmer a little. Tonight she was making her homemade cheesy beefaroni, which was Madison and Sam's fave. Feeling a small pair of arms wrap around her, she smiled as she turned around, "Hey baby girl."

"Hi." Madison smiled up at her before she kissed her stomach, letting go, she walked around the island and sat on the barstool, "How was your class?"

"It was fun. We learned a lot of things that going to help us with the twins." Mercedes leaned over and moved her hair out of her face, "What did you and Aunt Stacey do today?"

"Watched a lot of movies." She giggled softly, her eyes brighten up a little bit, "I talked to Mavy too."

"You did?" Mercedes asked excitedly.

"Yes. He said that he was going to call us after dinner." She smiled as she looked at the pot, licking her lips. She knew her mama was making her favorite and she couldn't wait to dig in.

Mercedes chuckled when she saw her staring at the food, "Go ahead and sit at the table." She shook her head when the little girl all but ran to the table. She turned off the stove and removed the top from the pot, taking a large spoon and emptying the pasta into a large bowl.

Sam all but ran out the room when he got a whiff of the wonderful aroma in the air. He came down the stairs quickly and walked to the kitchen, "Yes." He walked over and kissed Mercedes.

Mercedes smiled as he kissed her, "Can you take the salad in there for me?"

"Sure." He grabbed the bowl and headed to the dining room, smiling when he saw his little girl already waiting. He sat the bowl in the middle of the table, walking over to drop a kiss on Madi's forehead before he sat in his chair.

Mercedes walked in and sat the bowl down on the table, easing her way down to the chair. She smacked Sam's hand when she saw him reaching for a spoon, sending him a small glare, grabbing his hand, "You know we pray first. It's your turn tonight baby girl."

Madison giggled at the pout on her daddy's lips, reaching out to grab Mercedes's hand, closing her eyes, "Thank you lord for blessing us with some of mommy's delicious food and for putting two babies in her tummy. Amen."

Sam smiled at her prayer, opening his eyes, "Amen."

Mercedes chuckled a little bit before she let go of her hand, "Amen baby." She leaned over and grabbed the spoon, placing a gracious amount of food on her, Sam and Madison's plates.

Madison bounced in her seat as she watched Mercedes placed the beefaroni on the plate. She reached for the small platter and grabbed her a piece of garlic bread, sitting it down on her plate. She picked up her fork and began to eat.

"Thank you sweetheart." Sam said as he put some salad on his plate.

"You're welcome." Mercedes crossed her ankles and began to eat. Picking up her water, she sip some down before she looked over at Madison, "So Madi, you're birthday is coming up soon. Have any idea what you want to do?"

Madison chewed and swallowed her food before talking, "I was thinking about a roller skate party but I remembered you can't skate because of the babies so I want to have a pool party." She said sweetly as she looked at Mercedes.

Mercedes heart melted at how thoughtful she was but she didn't expect anything less because Madison was indeed a total sweetheart, "Baby girl you don't have to change your plans because of me. If you want to have a roller skate party than that's what we're going to do."

"I want you to be able to do something with me though and skating is not an option. You can get in the pool, mama. It's safe." She stressed, looking over at her dad for help to convince her.

Sam sat his fork down, wiping his mouth with a napkin,"Muffin, I know you love mommy very much and you want to do this for her but she understands that she can't skate. That doesn't mean that she won't be able to do anything with you. The skating rink has an arcade and that's something y'all can..." He drifted off when he saw the pout forming on her lips, knowing damn well he couldn't resist that, "Mercedes."

Mercedes rolled her eyes at Sam before turning to Madison, "Like your father was attempting to say, you should do whatever you want to do for your birthday sweetie. I'm going to be there regardless and even though I can't skate, doesn't mean I can't and won't do anything else fun with you."

Madison sighed as she looked at her. She really did want to go roller skating so that's what she is going to do, "Okay.."

"Then it's settled." Sam sung out the words before he went back to eating his meal.

Mercedes shook her head, pointing her fork at her dork of a fiancé, smirking teasingly, "She's putty in your hands Sam.."

Sam nodded with a grin. She was right. Madison had him wrapped around her little finger and that wasn't going to change anytime soon just like he knew he wasn't going to be the disciplinarian in the family. He would leave that job to Mercedes.

A/N. Hey guys! Just a little sweetness to get you through the week. Hope you enjoyed it :)
