Mercedes walked down the hallway with a happy smile on her face, excited to be home finally. She had been gone for a week for a business trip and she had missed her family terribly. She looked at her watch and saw that the kids were still at school but she knew who was at home. She turned the knob quietly to their bedroom, chuckling lowly when she saw the small body sprawled across a sleeping Sam. She tiptoed slowing in until she made it to the bed, kissing Sam softly on his lips, watching as he begun to stir a little, "Hi my love."

Sam was in a deep sleep. He was super exhausted from the week he had. Since Mercedes had been gone, he had to take care of the household by himself. With five kids, that was easier said than done. He pouted when he felt someone kissing him, thinking it was just his imagination until he heard her voice. He opened his eyes almost instantly, looking up at her with a tired smile, "You're home."

Mercedes giggled as she nodded, kissing him once again before she sat beside him in the bed, "I am."

"Thank you Jesus." He whispered, giving a small laugh as held the back of baby and sat up slowly, looking down as he felt him stirring.

Mercedes leaned over and picked up their sleeping son, seeing his eyes flutter open, "Hi baby." She kissed his cheek, smiling when he let a adorable look take over his features.

"I love my kids babe, I really do but they done wore me out this week." Sam said as he sat completely up on the bed, rubbing the last of the sleep from his eyes, "We all missed you like crazy."

Mercedes kissed her baby's forehead with a smile, sitting him in her lap. She had given birth to her sweet baby boy seven months ago today. Mercedes was forever thankful for him because she had him premature. It was a shaky couple of weeks for the family but everything worked out for the better. Brayden Malik Evans was his name and he is a spitting image of his big sister, McKenzie. Mercedes and Sam thought it would be a great idea to let McKenzie name her baby brother and what she came up with stuck with everyone. Mercedes laughed at Sam's words, shaking her head, "I missed you guys more and it seems like you managed. The house is still standing."

Sam rolled his eyes with a laugh, "Yeah that's true but it wasn't easy. This week has made me have so much more respect for you as a mother and single parents."

Mercedes shifted Brayden in her arms, nodding as she looked at her husband, taking one of her free hands to rub his cheek, "Well I'm proud of you baby."

"Thank you baby, that means a lot." Sam took her hand and kissed it before getting out the the bed stretching, "Are you hungry?"

"I am but I think we should order in tonight." She said softly as she picked up her son, getting off the bed as well, "I've been craving Mexican for awhile."

Savannah moved her hair from out of her face as she walked up the driveway with her twin brother in tow. She had a long day at school and all she wanted was to eat and go to sleep. She was happy though because today was the day her mommy was coming home and she has missed her.

Spencer ran his hand over his sleepy eyes, letting out a big yawn. He was tired as well from school. Him and Savannah was doing another school play and they had practices right after school. He was so glad that this was the last week for it and the show was happening next Friday. He watched as his sister opened up the door with her key, moving slowly behind her.

Sam was walking down the stairs when he saw the twins dragging into the house, "Long day?"

"You have no idea." They both answered at the same time, making their way over to their dad to hug him.

Sam gave them a tight hug before letting go, moving to the kitchen to grab the menu, "We're ordering Mexican for dinner so let me know what you want."

Mercedes had rocked Brayden back to sleep, placing him in his crib that was in her and Sam's room. She had turned on the baby monitor and left a crack in the door before headed down the stairs. When she got down, she looked over at her twins, who looked exhausted, "Hey you two."

"Mom, you're home." Spencer said with a smile as he walked over and hugged her, Savannah joining in afterwards.

Mercedes kissed both of their foreheads before letting go, looking at them both, "Since you look so tired, how about you go ahead upstairs, take a bath and a nap. You can do your homework later."

"Yes, thank you." Savannah said with a smile as she stood on her tippy toes and gave her a kiss on the cheek, walking up the stairs, "Love you."

"Love you mom." Spencer said as he followed his sister up the stairs.

"Love you too." Mercedes smiled as she ran her hand through her hair, looking at the front door when she heard it opened, she smiled when she heard the soft, squeaky voice of her youngest baby girl.

"But Maddy, I don't think it's right for people to say things like that. It's mean." McKenzie said with a huge pout on her face as she looked at her big sister.

Madison sent her a sad smile as she sat her keys on the foyer table, "I know Kenz but some people are really mean and don't care about others feelings."

"I hope Lexi is okay." She said softy in a quiet voice, looking over in the living room, her eyes went wide and a big smile spread across her lips when she ran to her, "Mommy!"

"Hi baby." Mercedes smiled as she squatted down and hugged her, kissing the side of her face, "I've missed you."

"Me too mommy." Mckenzie said with a bright smile as she hugged her mommy tightly around her neck, pulling back, she placed a kiss on her lips with a smile.

Mercedes giggled as she kissed her nose, she ran her hands over her pig tails with a smile, "Go in the kitchen and tell daddy what you want for dinner."

"Mkay and when I come back, I want to show you my work from the week." She smiled brightly before she ran off. McKenzie had just started kindergarten this year and her teacher said that she was extremely advanced for her age.

"Alright baby." She smiled as she stood back up, turning to Madison, "Hey sweetheart."

"Hi." Madison said with a smile as she went over and hugged her, "I'm glad you're home."

"Me too. Although it was amazing having peace and quite, I actually really miss all the commotion." She chuckled as she let go of her, leaning over, she moved her hair out of her, "Didn't mean to eavesdrop but what's wrong with Alexis?"

"Some jerk left notes in her locker saying how does it feel to know that your going to get deported soon and just saying a lot of racist things." Madison tucked her hair behind her ear before folding her arms across her chest, "You know how Alexis is mom and you know how things like this doesn't bother her but this time around, I think it's hurting her."

"Well baby, you know what you have to do as her friend and if she wants to come stay over here for a minute, she can." Mercedes leaned against the couch and gave her sad smile, "You know that it's going to be assholes in the world and I wish it was something that we could to do to change people's perspectives but we can't. That's why I'm trying to raise all of you not to care what people may think of you, others opinions on what they might have on you does not matter."

"Well you not I don't give a sh-crap." She caught her words when she saw the glare Mercedes was sending her, "Sorry."

Mercedes shook her head as she turned around and headed to the kitchen, "If you don't remind of Mav I swear."

"Sorry, it slipped." Madison hid her smile as she followed behind her.

"Alright so I have two orders of the chicken tacos with extra cheese for the twins, one large beef soft taco for you baby girl, cheese enchiladas for Muffin, steak quesadillas for me and mama and extra sour cream and guacamole. Am I missing something?" Sam asked as he looked up from the paper, grabbing the house phone.

"You're forgetting Bray." McKenzie spoke up as she sipped down her juice box.

"I got that taken care of." Mercedes reassured her with a smile as she kissed her forehead, "Go upstairs for your bath and ask Madi to help you."

"Mommy I'm a big girl, I can do it by myself." McKenzie said as she slid off the chair, looking at the look her mother was giving her, she sighed as she looked at Madison, "Maddy, can you help me please?"

"Of course." Madison smiled as she picked her up and heard towards the stairs.

Mercedes smiled at them before she looked over to Sam, who was on the phone placing the order. She went over to him once he was finished and wrapped her arms around his waist, kissing the side of his neck, "I love you."

"I love you more." Sam smiled as he turned his head a little, kissing her lips lightly before pulling her close to him, "We have thirty minutes before this food come. I haven't had sex with my wife in a week. We have enough time for a quickie so can we please go to the room because I'm very sexually frustrated?"

Mercedes threw her head back in laughter because she knew he was serious, "Oh my god Sam."

"I'm so serious Mercedes." He frowned when she started laughing.

"I know, that's why it's so funny." She let out a giggle, trying to compose herself but she couldn't stop.

"I'm glad to know that my pain is hilarious to you." Sam said as he got up from his chair and started to walk out of the kitchen.

Mercedes snorted as she took the abandoned seat. She knew exactly what he was doing. He was trying to make her feel bad for laughing and to get her to follow him so he could get what he wanted but she didn't budge.

Sam looked behind him, seeing her still seated with a smirk, his frown deepen. He went back to the kitchen with a huff, going over to the chair, he picked her out of it and threw her over his shoulder.

Mercedes covered her mouth with her hand, trying her best not to laugh too loudly because she knew the twins were taking a nap. She rolled her eyes when she noticed that he was taking her to guest room downstairs. This man and his needs but she didn't blame him, it's been a long week and she physically needed her man.

Maverick smiled as he held his baby brother in his arms, chuckling softly when he saw the little boy fighting his sleep, "I'm surprised he has lasted this long."

Mercedes slid out of her heels, looking over at them, she snorted as she shook her head, "I am too. He's two hours past his bedtime." She watched as Madison held onto McKenzie's back as she carried the sleeping girl into the house. The family had went to the twins play this evening and grabbed some dinner afterwards with Sam's family joining them. She was so proud of her babies and all the hard work that they had done. After dinner, Spencer and Savannah had went home with Mary and Dwight for the night.

Maverick pressed a kiss to his little brother's forehead as he walked to the living room and up the stairs to his room, seeing if he could get him to go to sleep.

Sam smiled at his son as he closed the door, "He was excited, that's all."

"That and the fact that you gave him a piece of chocolate." Mercedes gave her husband a knowing look before she headed to the kitchen to put their leftovers in the fridge.

"Guilty." He chuckled as he took off his jacket and followed her into the kitchen, taking a seat at the table.

"Mhm." She hummed out as she closed the door, making her way to him, she dropped a kiss on his lips before taking a seat beside him with a smirk, "So."

"Yes mama?" Sam asked with a smile as he leaned back in the chair, eyeing his wife curiously.

"I was just thinking tonight about the kids and how proud I am of each and every single one of them." Mercedes leaned over and moved his bang from out of his face, titling her head to the side, "And I just wanted to check on you and see how do you feel knowing that sweet little Madi will be off to college in a couple of months."

"I've been trying not to think about it honestly." Sam let a sad smile take over his lips, looking at her, "It's just too much."

"Aw babe." Mercedes smiled as she kissed his cheek, scooting closer to him, "She has to grow up you know."

"I know and that's what is getting to me. She's not the fragile six year old little girl anymore."

Mercedes crossed her ankles underneath the chair, grabbing his hand and lacing their fingers together, "She's not. She grew up and became a strong, beautiful, smart and independent young lady. You have done such a good job on making sure she knows that she is loved baby."

Madison sent Alexis a quick text as she came back down the stairs. She wanted to check up on her best friend and make sure she was alright. Once she hit the bottom step, she was about to enter the kitchen until she heard her parents talking. She didn't want to eavesdrop but she heard sniffling and that concerned her.

"I didn't do it alone, you helped..and without you, I don't think that would've been possible."

"That's not true." Mercedes said softly as she wiped the tear that slid from his eye. This was not how this conversation was suppose to go but she understood why he was getting emotional. She grabbed his face with her hand, turning it so he could look at her, "Before I even came into your life, you were fighting. Fighting for your little girl. That's something that she will never forget. You are her hero baby and she will always be your little girl."

"I know." Sam sniffled hard as he took the back of his hand and wiped away his tears, his face beet red, "This was suppose to be a light conversation but I couldn't help but think about it. My daughter is heading to college soon and I've been avoiding talking about it because it just feels like I just got her back."

Mercedes nodded understandably, getting up from her seat, she sat in his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck, kissing his cheek before she laid her head down on his shoulder.

Madison bit down on her trembling bottom lip, her eyes filling up with tears as she listened on. She took a deep breath as she turned around, bumping into Maverick as she did so.

"What's wrong?" Maverick asked when he saw her on the verge of crying.

"Nothing." She said quietly as she walked around him and headed up the stairs, wiping her face as she tried to make it to her room quickly as possible.

Maverick was confused on what was going on. He peeped his head around the corner and he saw his mother comforting Sam. He didn't know what was going on for sure but he think he had a pretty good idea.

Mercedes poured some orange juice in a cup and handed it to McKenzie, smiling when the little girl thanked her. She then walked to the refrigerator and grabbed herself a yogurt and a bottle of water.

McKenzie smiled brightly as she grabbed the syrup bottle and poured the delicious substance on her waffles, "Mommy?"

"Yes baby?"

"Where is daddy?" She asked curiously as she stuck her fork into one of the cut up bites, sticking into her mouth, looking over to her little brother who was drinking his bottle in his high chair.

"That's a good question sweetheart." Mercedes sat her things down and walked over to the window, pulling the curtain to the side, she saw her husband sitting in the chair on the patio.

"Good morning." Madison said with a small smile, kissing the top of her little sister's head and doing the same to her baby brother.

Mckenzie smiled brightly at her, "Morning Maddy."

Madison picked up a plate and rounded the counter, looking at Mercedes, "Morning mom."

"Good morning." She took another glance back at the window before walking over to her, placing a hand on her shoulder, talking lowly, "I need you to talk to your dad before you eat. He's out back."

Madison gave her a nod before she sat the empty plate down, walking towards the door, she took a deep breath before opening it. She walked out and closed the door, walking over to take a seat on the patio couch, "Hey dad."

Sam came out of his thoughts when heard her voice, turning to the side, he gave her a weak smile, "Hey Muffin."

Madison moved her hair over her shoulders and folded her hands as she looked out towards the pool, "I want you to know I overheard what you and mom said last night."

"I didn't mean for you to hear that." He let out a deep sigh as he looked away from her, running his hands over his pants.

"I know." She played with her fingers before turning back to look at him. She stood up and went to sit on the edge of the steps in front of him, grabbing his hands, her green eyes staring back into his, "I understand why you're taking this hard..I am too but I have realized over the past couple of months that I'm growing up and I'm not the fragile little girl I use to be and that's because of you dad. And yeah, you're right, it does feel like you just got me back because you did. But that's the thing, I'm never going nowhere ever again. Of course I'm going to college but it's not like I'm moving away like most kids and don't see their parents for years, that's not me." She didn't even notice she was crying until she felt a tears sliding down her face, "I always going to be your little girl dad and I'm always going to be here. And mom was right, you are my hero and I'm so thankful for you."

Sam nodded as he sniffled, wiping the tears from his eyes. He knew it was going to come to this point of her growing up but he didn't think he was going to have such a hard time. But part him knew he had to let go and accept that fact, "I love sweetheart, never forget that."

Madison smiled as she stood up, hugging him tightly as she laid her head down on his shoulder, "I love you too daddy. Everything's going to be okay, I promise."

"I know."

Madison held out one of her hands to help him up, once he stood to his feet, she gestured towards the door, "Don't worry about getting empty nest syndrome yet..you and mom still have four more kids here."

Sam snorted as he wrapped his arm around her, earning a laugh from the teen as they began to walk back into the house, "You're right about that."

"Daddy, I was looking for you!" McKenzie said loudly with a bright smile on her face when she saw her dad come in.

"Were you?" Sam smiled as he tickled her, earning loud squeals from the five year old. He laughed as he kissed her cheek, moving to seat down between her and Bray, who was in his high chair staring at them both curiously.

Mercedes folded her arms across her chest as she leaned back on the counter, "Is everything okay?"

Madison placed a piece of bacon in her mouth and turned to her, nodding with a small smile as she looked at her dad, "Yeah..everything's good."

Sam smiled at her before turning to his son, who was reaching for him, he moved over to pick him up, "You're getting heavy dude." He watched as he stared at him with a smile, his small hands going to play with his necklace.

"So I was thinking." Mercedes started as she walked over to the table and took a seat by McKenzie, "Next summer, we should take a big family vacation with everyone."

"Oh that's sounds cool." Madison said as she stuffed some cheesy eggs into her mouth, looking at her mom, "Where to?"

"Hawaii."

"Yay, can I go swimming with the dolfins?" Mckenzie asked excitedly as she bounced in her seat, looking between her parents.

Sam laughed at her cuteness, "You're not big enough to go swimming with the Dolphins baby girl but maybe you can feed them."

"Fine." Mckenzie sulked back in the chair with a pout on her lips.

"I was going Skype everyone tonight to see if they're in."

"This should be quite an adventure." Sam said as he stole one of Kenzie's strawberries, earning a shocked look from her.

"It should." Mercedes smiled as she finished up her yogurt. She looked down when she heard her phone vibrating, picking it up, she sighed when she saw the same text she has been getting for weeks.

Sam gave Mercedes a questionable look as he shifted Brayden in his lap, "What's wrong?"

Mercedes came out of her thoughts when she heard him. She has been keeping this from him for awhile and she knew she needed to talk to him now. Giving Madison a quick glance before turning to her husband, mouthing, "We need to talk."

"Um, Madison?"

"Yes dad?"

Sam stood and walked over to her, giving her Brayden, "We'll be right back."

Madison put her fork down and sat her brother in her lap, looking between her parents confusedly as they walked out the kitchen.

Sam followed behind Mercedes to the living room, he stopped when she turned around and handed him the phone. Taking it out of her hand, he gave her a look before his eyes traveled down to the device, anger visibly building up inside of him as he read the text.

I know you're sick of this but Allison Parks is adamant about seeing you and only you. This has been going on for weeks and I have been turning it away but I figured that this is ultimately your decision so I'm letting you know again.

"She is out of her mind." Sam said angrily as he looked back at Mercedes, "Why the hell she won't leave us alone?"

Mercedes began to pace as she wrung her hands. She didn't understand why the bitch wanted to see her. She should be the last person she wants to see. She looked over at Sam and knew he was going to be pissed by what she said next, "I don't know but the only way I can find out is if I go.."

Sam shook his head as he placed her phone on the couch, crossing his arms over his chest as he looked at incredulously, "That's not happening."

"Hear me out."

"Mercedes no." Sam said cutting her off, moving closer as he lowered his voice so the kids wouldn't hear, "You're not going back to that prison..hell no. I'm putting my foot down on this."

"You can't stop me." Mercedes folded her arms across her chest and glared at him, "I need to go so I can hear whatever she has to say and make it clear after this visit that she needs to leave us alone."

"I do not understand. You lost your shits when Madison wanted to go and now you're wanting to do the same thing."

"Sam, listen to me." Mercedes said quietly as she walked closer to him, "I know this is the last thing you want me to do, hell I didn't even want to do at first but I have so many questions that I need answered. I don't have a choice but to go."

Sam couldn't believe what he was hearing right now. He didn't want Mercedes anywhere near that woman and he couldn't for the life of him get why she talk to her. What questions did she possibly needed answered from her that he couldn't give her? "You do have a choice, you could just ignore it."

"Baby, I know this is something you don't want me to do, I know this. You know I respect and value everything you say but this is something that I don't just need to do for me but for my family. I love you Sam but I need to do this."

"Obviously you don't love me enough to not do it." Sam said strictly out of anger. Although he knew deep down he didn't mean it, he couldn't help but feel that way in this moment.

Mercedes stared at him in disbelief, stepping back, her heart tightening up in her chest, "Wow..okay."

Before Sam could even say something, McKenzie came running in, "Mommy, Maddy said she is going to take us to the park, can you put my hair up please?"

Mercedes took her eyes off of her husband and gave their daughter a sweet smile as she held out her hand for her to take, "Sure sweetheart."

Sam sighed as he ran his hands over his face, sitting down on the couch, he grunted as he leaned back shaking his head.

Madison giggled at her little brother as she held him in her arms, watching as he took his small hands and smushed her cheeks together. She walked into the living room, not noticing the tension because her attention was focused on her Brayden, "Did you two want to tag along? I was just going to take them to the park for a few hours."

"Maybe next time." Mercedes said as she walked up the stairs with Kenzie right beside her.

"Dad?" Madison called out as she looked over her father, who looked a little distracted.

"Um." Sam turned around and glanced up the stairs, looking back at her, he plastered a smile on his face as he stood up, "Sure, let me just get my wallet."

"Okay." Madison said as she bounced Brayden in her arms, earning a giggle from the small body as she turned and went up the stairs to get him ready.

Mercedes pressed the wine glass to her lips, rolling her eyes as she listened to her mother rant on. Her mom was always someone she could talk to when she had problems but today, she regretted it.

"I have to agree with Sam on this one Cedes but I don't agree with him saying what he said at the end but he does have a point about the Allison thing."

"Great, it's a shame my on mother doesn't agree with me."

Ginger leaned back in the chair, pursing her lips as she looked at her, "Honey, that man loves you and the last thing he wants you to see is you get hurt." She felt her pager go off against her waist, sighing, "I have to get back to work."

Mercedes waved her off as she slid off the stool, sipping the last of the drink from her glass.

Ginger took a deep breath as she stood up, putting her lab coat back on, she stared at her daughter for a moment, "You two need to talk about this again okay? Love you Mercedes."

"Yeah, love you too." She said as she leaned over and disconnected the chat, shutting down her laptop. She moved and filled her glass again, grabbing a slice of pizza after she sat back down.

"Mom?"

"In the kitchen." She called out as she swallowed some of the cheesy deliciousness, laying the piece on the plate, she turned to the side, smiling when she saw the twins and Maverick, "Hey guys."

"Hey mom." Savannah and Spencer said at the same time as they came up and gave her a hug.

Maverick greeted him mom too before he walked around the counter, picking up a slice and stuffing it in his mouth.

Mercedes pressed a kiss to both of their foreheads as she let them go, "Did you two have fun at your grandparents?"

"We did." Savannah smiled as she sat by her mama, placing her hands in her lap.

Spencer looked around before turning to his mom, "Where's dad, Kenz, Madi and Bray?"

"They went to the park a few hours ago, they should be home soon." Mercedes grabbed two more plates and sat them in front of them, "Go wash your hands so you can eat."

"Yes ma'am."

"So mom." Maverick chewed slowly, waiting for her to look at him, he raised a brow, "What's wrong?"

"What do you mean?"

"Come on mom, you know I know when something's up with you and plus, that wine bottle is almost empty." Maverick said knowingly as he tilted his head to the side, "What's going on with you?"

"Nothing you need to be worried about, I promise." She said just as she heard the front door open, rolling her eyes as she gestured to his hand, "Get a plate please."

"Okay."

"Maverick." McKenzie smiled as she ran to her older brother and wrapped her arms around his waist.

Maverick smiled down at her as he gave her a big hug, "Hey Kenzie."

Madison moved her hair back as she came into the kitchen, smiling at her brother, "Hey Mav." She walked over to her mom and handed her a sleepy Brayden, "I have lots of cute pictures to show you of them but I'm going to go ahead and take a shower because someone decided to puke on me." She pinched his cheek lightly, earning a gummy top smile in return. She ran her hands through the twins hair as they walked pass her on the way up the stairs.

"Kenz, bath first or dinner?" Maverick asked his little sister as he opened up the second box that contained a half sausage and cheese.

"Food, then bath and can we still have that movie marathon daddy?" McKenzie asked sweetly as she looked at her father when he walked in.

"Yes ma'am, we can." Sam smiled at his little girl as he walked over to greet Maverick.

"I call first pick." Spencer said quickly, hearing the groans from his sisters made him chuckle.

Savannah frowned as she sat at the table, "That's not fair, you had first pick last week. It's my turn."

"It's my turn actually." Mckenzie squeaky voice piped in, folding her small arms across her chest.

"Actually, it's my turn since I'm never able to make it." Maverick intervened, trying to keep them from having an arguing match.

Mercedes laughed softly at her kids, running her hand along Brayden's back before turning around, "Now that it's settle, I'm going to go give your brother a bath."

Maverick made sure everyone had some food before he walked back over to the counter, leaning against it, he looked at Sam and spoke quietly, "Do you know what's wrong with mom?"

Sam sighed as he turned to him, "We had a disagreement earlier. I said something I didn't mean and she's pissed but even though I feel bad for saying what I did, I don't regret being upset for what the conversation was about."

"And I'm guessing you're not going to tell me what it was about." Maverick said knowingly as he stared at him.

"I'm going to have to talk to you later about it, I'm not doing it in front of them." Sam glanced at the kids, who were happily engaged in a conversation and eating their pizza. He turned to Maverick and patted his shoulder, "I'll be right back."

Maverick nodded as he watched him go up the stairs. Sighing, he grabbed his plate and went to the table. He hoped that whatever it was, they would fix it. He didn't like seeing either of his parents upset so he hope they could get over whatever it was.

Mercedes hummed as she watched Brayden swat at the bubbles, smiling, she took the towel and washed all the soap from off of him. She let the water out the small tub and sat up on her knees, grabbing a big towel, she opened it up and leaned down, wrapping her little one up as she picked him out of the tub and headed inside the room.

Sam took a deep breath as he came to the top of the stairs. Hearing babbling coming from their bedroom, he walked down the hallway until he got to the room, "Do you need any help?"

Mercedes grabbed a diaper and onesie from the table after laying him on the bed. She let out a small sigh as she ran the towel over his small body to dry him off. Hearing Sam speak, she continued to do what she was doing, not looking at him, "I got it."

Sam clasped his hands together as he walked fully into the room, taking a deep breath, "Mercedes, we need to talk about this."

"There's nothing to talk about Samuel." She said with strained tone. She placed the diaper on her son and then got him into his onesie, the little boy staring up at her curiously as she lifted him in her arms.

Sam shook his head as he stepped out in the hallway, clearing his throat before he yelled downstairs, "Maverick can you come up here please?"

Mercedes kissed the side of Brayden's head as she picked the bottle up, placing it in his mouth, she swayed side to side. Looking over at the door, she rolled her eyes when she saw him still there.

"What's up dad?" Maverick asked as he came down the hallway, looking between him and inside of the room.

"Can you take your brother downstairs and put him to sleep. Me and your mother need to talk."

Maverick looked at his mom as he walked in, noticing the look on her face, it was best that he did take Bray downstairs. He grabbed the little boy out of his mother's arms, keeping the bottle in his mouth as he walked back out.

Mercedes crossed her arms over her chest, shaking her head as she watched Sam close the door, "What is there that we possibly need to talk about huh? We got that out the way this morning. You know what Sam, I understand why you don't want me to do this but you're not listening to why I want to do this. Everything I'm saying is just going over your head."

"I just don't understand after everything that happened and how you feel towards her since we met, you would want to go sit and have a conversation with her." Sam stressed, trying to not to raise his voice at her.

"You think I don't feel the same way Sam? I do. I hate her with a passion for what she did to not only you but to Madison." Mercedes felt her eyes started to water up and she hated that, "I want her to look me in my eyes and tell me why did she do her like that. I want answers, that's the ONLY reason I'm going. And just so you know, it really hurt me that you don't think I don't love you enough because I do. You and the kids are my entire world. I would go to hell and back for each of you. So you saying that, it fucking hurt." She sniffled hard as she wiped the tears that was flowing freely down her face. Going over to the bed, she snatched up a pillow and made her way to the door, "I'm sleeping in Kenzie's room for awhile."

"Mercedes." Sam said softly, watching her throw up her hand and walk out the room made his heart break into a million of pieces. He groaned as he sat down on bed, laying back. The last thing he wanted to do was fight with his wife, let alone sleep without her for god knows how long. This was such a messy situation and he had to find a way to fix it.

A/N. I'm back! So excited to be writing FOUR parts to this epilogue. TLOL is by far my favorite story I've written and for months, I've couldn't wait to get back to writing for it! Okay, so we caught up with the Evans' and things are a little shaky for Samcedes right now but it's not going to last long at all. I see both of their points but I have to ask, who's side are you on? So excited to continue this story for a little while longer, hope you continue read. Oh & aren't they Evans' kids adorable? I had so much fun picking out their faceclaims. Have a good weekend! :)
