Chapter 11: Game

MONDAY NIGHT

The aftermath was still being talked about with John Cena able to retail his title, the new Intercontinental Champion and the controversy surrounding it and how an impromptu match ended in more controversy as The Authority along with Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and a now suited Kane were in the ring to address the situation.

"Last night we had one thing after another happening and had to do what needed to be done to restore order, now the situation with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship later but for now I would like to call out a certain individual who for some time has been fighting against us and clearly won't see the light so David Redd I ask for your presence here right now." Hunter called him out.

OUT OF MY WAY!

Out of my way hit as David made his way out as he wasn't in the mood for any of this after last night he made his way into the ring and faced the entire of them.

"David thank you for gracing us with your presence, so let's get down to business and first off would like to congratulate you on your win last night but also I believe Seth here has something to say." Hunter said as he stepped forward to face David.

"David look I know you and I go back to NXT and I do respect you but what I did last night I admit it was low and I thought I was doing what was best for business so in light of that I apologise for my actions." Rollins apologised as he stepped back.

"Now with that done, I want to make an offer to you to join The Authority, yes I know that you've given your answer twice but the message wasn't getting through so here's something that could change your mind." Hunter said as he pointed to the titantron.

"Exclusive to WWE2K15...The Red Dragon…David Redd is now available for download and will be joining Who Got NXT mode."

The video package showed David's video game self doing his moves and making his entrance.

"WWE 2K15 out this October."

The crowd was behind that decision as David sighed at seeing that.

"But wait there's more, when you do join us we'll make sure your given the finest care that the planet has to offer and also your very own private jet." Hunter said as an image came up of the red jet he would own. "We've all got one and that one is yours David.

He sighed again seeing that.

"But mainly David with us you could take yourself and your career to untold heights and all you have to do is buy in." Hunter stated as then David snatched the mic from him.

"That's all very tempting and all but first let me make some things clear, I am not a…"

He looked to Rollins. "A Backstabbing Sellout." he stated as that offended Rollins.

He then looked to Orton. "A Winging Tapeworm." he stated as it angered Orton.

He then looked to Kane. "A Big Red Bitch." he stated once more as Kane hated hearing it again.

He looked to Stephanie. "A Spoiled Brat." he stated as Stephanie was about to explode.

He looked to Triple H. "And finally A Rambling, Incoherent…Old…Man." he stated to The Game.

"So take your offer and shove it up your arses!" David stated to them all as now he had made his choice.

"Well sorry to hear that David I really had high hopes for you but clearly you've made your mind up but I'm going to try one more time…What are you after?" Hunter asked.

"What am I after?….What am I after?….Simple I want to rid Wrestling and WWE of The Authority and to do that I need to cut of the head of the monster you've all created and that is why Triple H I want a match with you!" David challenged him.

He looked a bit surprised then he just burst out laughing. "You…You…Want a match…With me?!" Hunter said in-between laughs.

Stephanie stepped forward to address that. "You are beneath my husband, you aren't even fit to lick his boots, as a matter of fact it would be an insult if you even tried to fight him." she stated.

David knew he was going to say no. "Fair enough since you won't give me a match then I might have to convince you." he said.

"But David how're you going to do that when you have a match with Randy Orton tonight?" Hunter said making a match.

From out of nowhere he was blindsided by Orton who started to stomp on him as he stopped Hunter knelt down to him.

"Oh and that match is next." he said.

Orton was attacking David as the bell was rang as Both Triple H and Stephanie stayed at ringside while Kane and Rollins were sent away.

Raw came back on the air and Orton was taking it to David off the sneak attack as he had him in the corner and was laying the fists into him and the referee was counting for him to stop and towards four he got him to stop and was now just taking his time in punishing him as he threw him out of the corner and to the ground and from the corner Orton came out and dropped a knee to his face, 1-2-NO HE GOT HIS SHOULDER UP!

Orton was in complete control as he then circled the body of The Red Dragon and stomped on any exposed limb, but then stopped and decided to let him get back up to his feet and was doing so with help from the ropes and was just waiting to strike and ran at him but he pulled the ropes down and sent him over and to the outside in front of The Authority as he got up quickly HE WAS TAKEN DOWN WITH A SENTON SPLASH!

David was back in the match as he looked to both Hunter and Stephanie and knew he needed to get into their heads and grabbed Orton by his head and bounced it off the announce table and then looked to them both again and bounced it off the table a second time and one more look to them and he bounced his head off the table a third time.

He then jumped up on top of the table and brought Orton up to it and in front of Hunter and Stephanie he just brought down the fists as he beat Orton down without any remorse, he stopped his beat down and came off the table and took Orton with him and threw him back into the ring as he was then distracted by Stephanie as she shouted insults at him and he decided to ignore her and step back into the ring but was caught with a kick to the gut by Orton who got him by his head and had him in between the ropes and everyone knew what was coming…DDT FROM THE SECOND ROPE! 1-2-TH-NO DAVID KICKED OUT!

The distraction did not pay off as Orton brought David up to his feet and threw him into the corner and began talking some trash and just nailed an uppercut and threw him out of there as he went to that place of his and was uncoiling to strike as he stalked David waiting for him to get to his feet as he slowly did he rose up and RK-HE COUNTERED INTO SEEING RED!

But Orton rolled to the outside as David was still hurting from the DDT and both men were down but began to stir as Orton was slowly making his way back into the ring as David went to bring him in Orton quickly pulled his head down on the ropes and took him down as The Viper was back in control and got back in the ring as he looked to try for an RKO again but Hunter then from ringside made an order.

"FINISH HIM!" he ordered and Orton knew what he meant.

He backed into the corner and was going for the Punt and was lining David up and he ran at him HE GOES FOR THE PU-HE GOT OUT OF THE WAY! David grabbed the exposed leg and HE LOCKED IN A LEG SLICER! Orton was screaming out in pain from the hold and he was trapped and with so much weight and pressure on his leg HE TAPPED OUT!

David had gotten a victory and using a new submission hold as he went to ringside and asked a crowd member for their drink and he got it as he sipped on it and went towards Hunter and Stephanie as they were not happy at the result of the match and he casually stood in front of them and he talked to Hunter.

"I hope there's no hard feelings…after I do this." David said to him.

HE TIPPED THE DRINK OVER THE HEAD OF THE GAME!

After just blatantly insulting Hunter he then emptied the rest of cup and then placed it on his head and walked off with a smile as Hunter stood there angry and embarrassed.

David was walking through the hallways and as he passed a number of people including superstars were trying not to look at him as he made a guess to why that was.

"You know everyone wants nothing to do with you?" the voice belonged to Paige.

"Why's that?" David asked not sure why.

"Well for a starters you just insulted the entire of The Authority." she pointed out.

"So? I do that to you every day." he said not thinking it was a big deal.

"And then you tip a drink all over the COO of this company just to get a match out of him?!" she then pointed out the worst part of it.

"That was the plan and I think it might work." he said as she sighed knowing full well how far he would go.

"Just be careful, they call him The Cerebral Assassin for a reason and you want him in a match just to try and stop The Authority?" she asked.

"Yes cut the head off the serpent and the body dies with it, without him they wouldn't know what to do and his wife would be just a figurehead compared to him, I just need to push him a little more and I've got one more idea left." he said his plans.

MONDAY NIGHT

After his match and insults last week David found out he would be in a match against Sheamus but he knew very well they had something up their sleeves.

Written in my face hit and The United States Champion Sheamus made his way out as he was all fired up for this fight as he made his way down to the ring and entered and held up his championship showing how proud he is to hold the title and awaited the arrival of his opponent.

OUT OF MY WAY!

Out of my way hit and The Red Dragon made his way out and after his huge win last week and his action towards Triple H he was now someone that no one wanted anything to do with as he made his way out and down to the ring and entered and took off his hoodie as he stared down The Celtic Warrior.

Behold the king…the king of kings…

King of kings hit and out came Triple H and he was looking pleased for some reason which meant something was up and he had a mic.

"Guys now I know you were both scheduled for a match right now but I feel like it's Christmas right now and I should give the WWE Universe an early gift and make this match a United States Championship match!" Hunter said making a huge announcement getting a huge pop from the crowd.

"Wait! There's more, I just feel like a gift that keeps on giving and I'm adding another man to this match." he stated.

Swiss made hit as it was The King of Swing Cesaro who had a claim to that title after he pinned the champion last week and was looking to regain the gold a second time, he made his way down the ring and into it as he faced both men down.

The bell rang as the championship was held up high signifying this was a championship match, all three men were not taking their eyes off of one another and Cesaro came at David and quickly out powered him and threw him to the outside as he and the champion Sheamus went at it.

Both men traded blows but Cesaro was using his power game once more and just gut wrenched him over his head and then quickly came down with a double footstomp, 1-2-NO IT WAS BROKEN BY DAVID! He was back in the match and quickly took down The King of Swing with a Lou Thesz press drilling him with fists to his head he got him up and he returned the favour and threw him to the outside, but Sheamus came at him and he sidestepped his charging attack and he went to the outside as David decided to just go for it and from the ring he leaped over the ropes HE CRASHED RIGHT INTO THEM OBTH WITH A SENTON SPLASH!

Taking both men down he took Cesaro bay the head and threw him back into the ring as he quickly just got him with a dropkick and followed up with a huge clothesline and brought him up for a neck breaker, 1-2-NO HE KICKED OUT! David grabbing the head of Cesaro then with a snap mare takedown and went off the ropes and was emulating a certain superstar and brought down a huge knee to his face then stood up and did one more as he turned to a fist from Shemaus who was back in and then went off the ropes but David ducked a double axe and caught him and took him up DOUBLE A SPINEBUSTER!

David was once again emulating that same superstar and then did his primal roar to add a spin on the usual pose seen after that move, he then turns around and is blind sided by Cesaro and with such quickness he is able to throw him up and HE DROPS HIM WITH THE HIGH UPPERCUT! 1-2-TH-NO SHEAMUS BREAKS UP THE COUNT!

He was very close to losing his title as him and Cesaro began battling fist for fist but then Cesaro got caught up in the ropes and Sheamus knew what was about to happen as he had him all tied up and positioned him.

"1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10!" The crowd counted the amount of clubbing blows to the chest of Cesaro and he delivered one more for good measure.

Sheamus got Ceasro up onto his shoulders and HE NAILS WHITE NOISE! 1-2-THR-NO DAVID BREAKS UP THE COUNT! He returned the favour and now it was down to them as the fight was on and one fist after another was exchanged both did not let up until Sheamus got in an axe handle to his face he then looked to end this with a Brogue Kick and was lining him up A BROUGUE KI-HE DUCKED IT AND SHEAMUS GOT CAUGHT UP IN THE ROPES!

Sheamus fell into the ring as David turned around he was met by a boot to the face by Cesaro as now the field was clear and he looked to both men laid out and grabbed Sheamus by his feet and signified for the swing and with both legs hooked The King of Swing took Sheamus around the ring WITH THE CESARO SWING!

"1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-20!" he swung him around that many times and threw him aside as he was a bit dizzy and took a moment to shake it off HE WAS HIT WITH A KNEE FROM THE TOP ROPE BY DAVID! Cesaro was down but he continued the attack and from the second rope he rebounded off it and A MOONSAULT! 1-2-THR-NO SHEAMUS BROKE THE COUNT!

Once again he stopped David from getting the win and both men stood face to face and once again they went fist for fist with fans chanting for both men Sheamus tried to slam David but he got free and landed behind him and grabbed him into a waistlock but he quickly countered into an irish whip and David went back first into the turnbuckle as he went for him but he avoided the attack and Sheamus went face first into the turnbuckle as David quickly nailed a splash in the corner stunning him and used all his strength to bring him up to the top turnbuckle and then climbed up to meet him as he was looking to superplex him but from below Cesaro was back up and he met them both up there and head butted David and Sheamus as he had both of them in his grasp and from there CESARO TAKES THEM BOTH DOWN WITH A DOUBLE SUPERPLEX!

"THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME! THIS IS AWESOME!" the crowd chanted as the feat of strength from Cesaro was on display.

All men were down but Ceasro was still stirring as he looked to pin David, 1-2-THR-NO HE GOT HIS SHOULDER UP! Cesaro went for Sheamus, 1-2-THR-NO SHEAMUS GOT HIS SHOULDER UP! Ceasaro could not believe after that move he threw Sheamus out of the ring and looked to make David his victim and had him up and was going for the Neutralizer as he cracked his neck readying to do so he lifted him up but David flipped Cesaro onto his back and came off the ropes and hit a huge dropkick to his face but then had a smile on his face and brought the massive frame of Cesaro up and hooked both arms in and HE NAILS A PEDIGREE!? 1-2-3! IT WAS OVER!

The place erupted as David just got the biggest win of his career.

"Here is your winner and NEW UNITED STATES CHAMPION…DAVID REDD!"

David could not believe it that he had won the title as he was handed it and just raised it up as he did a primal roar but the celebration was cut as he was faced by the former champion as both had a stare then a hand was held out by Sheamus as David accepted the hand and the sign of respect between them was shown and he left the ring and David continued his celebration.

"You did it!" he was given a congratulatory hug by Paige who was happy for her friend's win.

"Can't believe it…I'm United States Champion." David said still not able to believe it.

"Right now we're going to get some drinks to celebrate this dad must be loving this! i got to give him a call." she said as she went off to do so.

He was left alone but was confronted by Hunter.

"Well I guess congratulations is in order champ, but now it poses a question how long can you last? And also nice tribute, not as good as the original but somehow you got the win." Hunter said giving him some credit.

"I'd like to think I improved your moves and dust them off the shelf, just like you are old man." David sniped at him as he left him there again angering The Game.

Huge win for David but now the cross hairs just got bigger and The Authority including The Game will be coming for him what do they have planned?
