Chapter 22: Piper
MONDAY NIGHT
After he lost to Luke Harper then was attacked and triple powerbombed by Seth Rollins and J & J Security through a table and playing what they did to him over and over in his head made David want to get some revenge but he needed to plan this before making his next move.
But however the cameras cut to Rollins alongside J & J Security as they were bragging about what they did last week.
"Man seeing him go through that table makes me want to do it again and I will at TLC, he's going through a bunch of tables and then I go on to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion! But if that doesn't work. " Seth looked to his briefcase. "There's always Plan B." he said.
As then they were approached by an assistant who had an envelope in his hands. "Uh J & J Security?" he asked as they nodded he handed them the envelope and left.
They opened the envelope and both of them read it and were surprised to see what it read.
"We've got fans?!" Joey said not believing it.
"We J & J are cordially invited to attend as guests of honour for the J & J Security fan club meeting!" Jamie said also not believing it.
"Guys you've done great last week taking David Redd out so since he's not here tonight how about you two take the night off and attend your meeting." Rollins said as they went to their meeting leaving him alone.
He walked the hallways and then bumped into a backstage worker.
"Hey! Watch where you're going you freakin idiot!" Rollins spat at him.
"Sorry sir won't happen again." the worker said as he looked down and Rollins just huffed and walked away.

Raw came back from commercial and once again after last week The Bellas were seemingly being targeted by an unknown individual as they once again ganged up on Paige as once again the light went out and the big screen became distorted.
"I WAS DEAD…BUT NOW I'M ALIVE!"
The message once again played as the twins were distracted and confused by the ominous message as Paige was able to get the jump on them and clothesline them both to the outside and standing tall.
The cameras cut backstage as Joey and Jamie were attending their fan meeting and when they arrived it was a band of female fans and things were seemingly looking up for the security team as one of the women stepped outside and was meeting someone.
"We have a deal right? We keep them busy and you pay us now?" she asked as she was given a credit card.
"Oh a Diamond card thank you mister…Rollins?" she asked.
And in came to view was David Redd. "Yes and please go bananas with that card it has a massive spending limit and just make sure they don't leave all night." he asked.
"Will do!" she said going back in.
"Step one take care of the help, step two take care of the weasel." David said to himself as he went for the next step.

Seth Rollins was in a match against Erick Rowan as he was having trouble trying to stop the powerhouse but he managed to distract the ref and nail Rowan with the Money in the Bank briefcase across his head and with him down KIRB STOMP! 1-2-3 IT WAS OVER!
Rollins celebrated his win as he grabbed a mic.
"You see that?! Huh?! That's what's going to happen when I get a table and I stomp David Redd's face right through it and then I go on to achieve my destiny of being WWE World Heavyweight Champion!" Rollins stated.
The sound of clapping was heard over the mic as out from the back came his opponent for TLC.
"Oh that was a very passionate speech Seth, it's worthy of an Oscar or in your case you'd be up for a Razzie." David said getting a reaction from the crowd and infuriating Rollins. "Now let's talk about our match since you enjoy talking so much about how you're going to stomp my face into a table." he said walking down the ramp and now at ringside.
"Maybe I won't stomp your face, maybe I grab some cinderblocks and drive your face through that then whatever's left of you I'll put through a table!" Rollins threatened him.
David then got into the ring to face him. "Cinderblocks eh? Just like you did to your former Shield brother and a man who has had your number a few times but also you've beaten but not without the lack of help like last week when you and your babysitters put me through a table." he pointed out his lack of independence in his affairs.
"I don't need Joey or Jaime to beat you and you know what maybe I should teach you some more respect!" Rollins said as he went to call for his security team.
However his calls went unanswered as he was given a view of both Jaime and Joey leaving the place in a limo with several of their "fans".
"Joey! Jaime! Where are guys going?! I need you now!" Rollins shouted at the screen as they could not hear him and they all took off as he then realised he was left alone with his opponent and turned around to face him.
"Now what was that about teaching me some more respect?" David asked as Rollins knew what was coming next.
Rollins went to put the mic down as he looked to leave HE TOOK A SWING AT HIM WITH THE BRIEFCASE…David ducked it and SUPERKICKING THE BREIFCASE OFF ROLLINS'S HEAD!
Rollins was laid out and David not wasting anytime he went to the outside and looked under the ring and pulled out a table as he slid it into the ring and then got in himself and began to set it up as Rollins was beginning to stir from the shot he took as David was just waiting for him to get up as he slowly got to his feet and he had him up on his shoulders SEEING RED THROUGH THE TABLE!
Seth Rollins had been outsmarted after last week and David has now regained momentum.

David was currently on the phone.
"When you're a Puckish Rogue like myself you tend to pick up these things." David said.
"Yes well it's not like he's short of money, he can ask mummy and daddy for more…I agree yes, so how does a film and a takeaway sound?…great I'll see you then alright bye." he said hanging up.
"Someone's been a naughty boy." it was the voice of Paige and she heard the news of his incident.
"Word spreads fast, does Seth know?" he asked.
"Nope he hasn't recovered from the table, so who's the lucky lady I've heard about?" she asked as they walked through the hallways.
"Rather not say as we're still in the phase of getting to know one another so I'm trying not to jinx it but we are meeting later on." he said as he was taking it slow.
"Ok but why hasn't she been round your place?" she asked curious about this woman.
"She has been round it's just you've been a bit busy with your spats and your show." he said as she knew it had been consuming her attention for a while.
"True guess I haven't been paying attention and we haven't hung out in a while due to…well you know." she said referring to their encounter a couple of months ago.
"I know but let's forget about it and besides how about that guy you told me about, why don't you go out with him?" he asked her.
"I'll think about it and looks like I've got help coming my way for TLC." she said referring to the ominous message which played again.
"Always had a taste for the theatrics." he said knowing this person well enough.
"Dave with Seth you need to be careful he might not be protected by Stephanie and Triple H anymore but he's still got help you need to bring your own backup to this fight." she suggested.
"I think I know who can help in this one." he said.
MONDAY NIGHT
After the revenge David had gotten for the attack he suffered at the hands of Seth Rollins and J & J, the proclaimed Future of WWE was in the ring and he was furious as he had a mic in his hand.
"This company has gone downhill in a matter of weeks since The Authority was forced out of power and who do we have to thank for that?! David Redd and his band of misfits…David I want you to know that I loathe you, I wish you never came here and I wish that Triple H finished the job so I guess I'll have to do it and I'll start when I get my hands on you tonight." Rollins stated what was coming for David.
"My-My-My, it seems our Future of WWE has decided to put on his big boy trousers and take matters into his own hands, I applaud you on that." it was David who appeared at the top of the ramp clapping him.
"You son of a bitch! I should have you thrown in jail on theft and fraud!" Rollins spat as he knew what he had done.
David then gave an exaggerated look of shock. "Now Seth first off are you sure you did not drop your wallet? And for the record I'm not what you called me I'm a…" he held the mic out to the crowd.
"PUCKISH ROGUE!" they all said in unison.
"And as for your so called revenge tonight then I say you be careful what you wish for you just might get it." David said as he marched down there and both J & J Security were ready for him as he then just stopped as Rollins and his security team began to laugh as they thought he was thinking twice until he opened his hoodie to reveal his weapon of choice a red crowbar.
He was now armed and quickly he slid into the ring as Rollins high tailed it out of there leaving his security to it as both men came at David but he swung for them both catching Noble in the ribs and Mercury in the back as he forced them all to retreat and was left there standing tall.

Rollins was angry and frustrated that once again David had gotten the better of him and was throwing tantrums.
"How does he keep doing this?! If The Authority was still here he wouldn't even be here!" Rollins was ranting.
As Kane came in to calm him down. "Seth you need to calm down." he said as Seth began to settle.
"Because tonight we can hurt him before this Sunday and then we'll beat him so badly he'll wish he never messed with us or even gotten The Authority out of power." Big Show came in as Seth smiled.
"Thanks guys, I needed to hear that and when I get the chance I'm gonna put that damn thief through a table again." Rollins stated as they now had a plan.

The cameras cut to backstage as Rene Young was standing by.
"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome my guest at this time WWE Hall of Famer, Rowdy Roddy Piper." she introduced as Hot Rod came into view.
"Roddy you've told us you'd be here tonight but the question is why?" she asked.
"Well darlin I'm here to do a little thing I like to call Piper's Pit and my guest…you'll know when everyone else knows." Piper said as he left.
Raw came back on air and the ring was all set up for the legendary segment.
"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome WWE Hall of Famer, Hot Rod Rowdy Roddy Piper!" Lillian Garcia announced.
Hot Rod hit and Roddy Piper made his return to WWE and the WWE Universe was on it's feet for the Rowdy One as he was enjoying the reception and made his way out and entered the ring as Piper's Pit was all ready and he had a mic.
"Now since The Authority was in power we've had a lot of changes like some Big Red Suck Up in charge, a whiney little worm handed a title shot for stabbing his friends in the back and a giant who sold his soul to get ahead." Piper listed certain members of The Authority.
"And then there's those two who ran it the spoilt princess and the big nosed idiot." he continued to slate the two leaders of The Authority.
"I admit they were doing what was best for business but what is really "Best for Business?"…Giving out fat pay checks for selling out? Handing Seth Rollins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship? And anyone who disagrees get punished so tell me this why are they now out of power you ask?…Because of my guest, The Red Dragon David Redd!" he introduced.
OUT OF MY WAY!
Out of my way hit and David made his way out as he only knew last minute he would be on the Pit as he made his way out and down the ramp and into the ring and grabbed a mic as he stood face to face with Hot Rod.
"David glad to have you on." Piper said as HE SLAPPED HIM!?
David unaffected looked to him. "Same here sir." he said as HE SLAPPED HIM BACK?!
Piper seemed to enjoy that as they both took a seat.
"My first question is towards the allegations that you kidnapped, tortured and humiliated a man is that really true?" Piper asked.
"Well I want to say no but that would be a lie." David admitted.
"Ok then answer me this are you an angry man?" Piper asked another question.
"I admit to having a temper but overall maybe." David responded.
"So why do you think you should be the number one contender?" Piper asked as it shifted very quickly to something else.
"I don't think I deserve to be the number one contender." David said as everyone looked a bit confused by that statement. "In fact neither does Seth Rollins, he's a backstabbing weasel who is getting too big for his own boots and just because he has a lot of backing he can go around doing what he wants? Well I say this to you…bring all your mates because I'll be bringing my own mate." he said presenting his red crowbar.
Second coming hit and that was the entrance of Seth Rollins along with his security team.
"All right that does it!" Rollins shouted as he marched down the ramp and into the ring.
"I'm sick of people calling me a Sellout, a Backstabber, a Scumbag and especially a Weasel." Rollins ranted as he was not taking the name calling anymore. "I did not Sellout, I Bought In and since that day I took out The Shield I've been unstoppable and no one will deny me not you Redd, these people the guys in the back and certainly not some old washed up has-ben, he did you wander from the nursing home?" he insulted Hot Rod as him and J & J started to have a laugh at Piper's expense.
"Seth since none of your "Friends" want to be honest with you so I'll do the honors so that even your confused hair will understand, you need to do this match alone, you need to prove that your not some spoiled brat who needs the help of two oompaloompas all the time." Piper insulted his security team.
"Maybe I should teach you a lesson old man." Rollins challenged him.
"Well why not? I've got nothing better to do." Piper said as he began to get himself ready for a fight.
As a ref even came down and ring crew began to move the entire set of the Pit out of there as Raw went to commercial.

The bell rang as Raw came back and both men were in the ring as Rollins wasn't even taking this match seriously as then started to shove as Hot Rod shoved him back they got into a shoving match then as Rollins got into his face HE SLAPPED ROLLINS ACROSS THE FACE!
The sound could be heard all over the world as Rowdy Roddy Piper had just slapped the taste out of Rollins who could not believe that as he did that and Rollins now at boiling point just got in a huge kick to his abdomen and just brought him down with a series of fists as he then got up and stomped on him and then began to gloat about it and not even caring about the match as he took his eyes of Piper to talk trash to David on the outside.
David not even responding then began to smirk and Rollins wondering why that was…A SLEEPER HOLD!? Piper snuck up from behind and slapped on the hold as Rollins could feel himself beginning to slip away as he tried to fight out but he was fading as it looked like a victory for Piper.
But the referee was distracted by J & J Security as Piper let go he went to try and get them away but they were met with rights and lefts from David who threw Noble into the ring steps back first and Mercury into the ring post head first.
However Rollins took advantage of that and just hit A LOW BLOW! to Piper as out of desperation he slowly got himself back up to his feet and was now stalking him and looking to end this quickly as he was about to Kirb Stomp him he was then distracted as David was on the apron and then threw his crowbar to him as he caught it then the referee saw him with the weapon as Rollins began to plead his innocence as the weapon was removed by the official but while he was distracted…LOW BLOW! Piper returned the favour as he then rolled him up and the ref turned around and made the count 1-2-3! It was over!
Rowdy Roddy Piper had gotten a huge win over The Future of WWE and Rollins could not believe it as in came J & J as they attacked Hot Rod but David came in with the recovered crowbar and began nailing them both with it as Rollins saw he was all alone but then from out of nowhere came in Big Show and Kane and both men ganged up on David and then wrapped their hands around his throat…DOUBLE CHOKESLAM! They had taken him out with a double team move and Piper was trying to get up and Rollins seeing his chance and KIRB STOMP!
With both men down Rollins then ordered Kane and Big Show to get David to the outside as they threw him to the outside and then began ripping the announce table apart and placed David on top of it as Rollins was also on the table as he talked down to David.
"You'll never beat me this Sunday! It's my destiny!" he shouted.
A KIRB STOMP ON TOP OF THE TABLE!
Rollins drove his head into the table as he wanted to make a statement he would do the same this Sunday as they will fight for the right to become number one contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Now it's gotten heated, what will happen come Tables, Ladders and Chairs? Will he win this match or will Seth Rollins achieve his destiny?
