Here it is and just to say that I do not agree Nikki should've broken AJ's record as I feel a more deserving wrestler should've but that's my opinion. Anyway enough of that enjoy!
Chapter 24: Devour
MONDAY NIGHT
"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome The Red Dragon, David Redd!" Lillian announced.
OUT OF MY WAY!
Out of my way hit and out came as of last night the new Number One Contender for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble, David made his way out to a huge reaction after the battle he went through last night he was bruised and battered but he was here as he made his way into the ring and asked for a mic.
Next big thing hit and that was the entrance of the man that David would be challenging at the Royal Rumble as The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar along with his advocate Paul Heyman made their way out and down to the ring as it was all business as they entered the ring Lesnar began circling David looking him up and down as if he was analyzing him and went to the other end of the ring and just stared at David while Heyman had a mic.
"Ladies and gentlemen my name is Mr. Paul Heyman, I am the advocate of the reigning, defending, undisputed WWE Heavyweight Champion of the world, The Beast Incarnate and The One in twenty one and one my client…Brock Lesnar!" Heyman introduced him.
Heyman then turned to David. "Now after my client did what he does best last night as he defended his title for the first time in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match he once more defeated John Cena and showed why he is The Conqueror! And then we hear that the next challenger is you Mr. Redd." he said as David listened on.
"Now my client and I have taken note of all you've accomplished here in WWE and elsewhere in wrestling and in my opinion you've done a lot and at the tender age of twenty two years old and I say that is impressive…" he then goes over to his client and they exchange a couple of words and he comes back. "…but my client does not think you're impressive as a matter of fact he does not see what the big deal is about you." he stated Lesnar's opinion of him.
"However at the Royal Rumble your career takes a halt as you face not a man, not a champion but a Beast! And The Beast will devour you!" Heyman stated.
David stood there not even flinching or reacting to those words from the advocate and just walked right past Heyman and got right up in the face of Lesnar.
"Don't underestimate me." David said as he dropped the mic and left leaving on that statement.

Even though David had earned his right to become number one contender twenty four hours ago people still doubted he deserved a shot at the title.
"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome the number one contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble…David Redd." Rene Young introduced as he came into view.
"David after the biggest win on your career last night, Paul Heyman and his client had some choice words for you and now not only that but critics, the locker room and the people feel you do not deserve a title match, your thoughts?" she asked him.
"Did I ask for this title match? No, I was thrown into it and needed to make sure Seth Rollins did not become number one contender and I did that, but since then people have shared their doubts with me and that is why tonight I am making an open challenge to anyone who wants to prove me wrong." David said issuing the challenge.
He walked off to prepare for that challenge but bumped into a friend.
"I wanted to talk with you a second." it was Paige.
"Yeah sure what's on your mind?" David asked.
"First off thanks for dropping by on Christmas to see us." she said.
"I always do and besides you know how much I like spending time with the family and especially the kids." he said how much he likes being around her family.
"I know and how was it with your dad?" asking how he spent his first Christmas with his father in years.
"It was ok, a bit awkward but I reconnected with some family and met more of them but overall it's a start." he talked about the progress he made.
"Glad to hear it and second you and Sasha?" she questioned his relationship with The Boss.
"Well I know your skeptical but after this double date I went on with Dolph, me and her hit it off and since then it's been great." David had only good things to say about his current relationship.
"Isn't she a little bit too well…bossy?" she asked.
"You know I don't even listen to my superiors and anyway she's not that bad and besides she knows how to have fun." he said only saying good things about his new girlfriend.
"As long as your happy then so am I, now what exactly do you have planned for this open challenge?" she asked.
"All I can say is stay tuned." David said walking off for his match.

Raw came back from commercial break and David was in the ring ready to compete for the open challenge he threw out.
Man on fire hit and that was the entrance of The Big Red Machine Kane as he came out with a mic.
"David, I am one of those many who do have a problem with you becoming number one contender, you see you robbed the true contender in Seth Rollins and with you if and that is a big if you beat Brock Lesnar but I doubt you'll have a chance afterall Brock Lesnar did conquer John Cena like no other, he conquered the great Triple H and even did the unthinkable and broke my brother The Undertaker's undefeated WrestleMania streak." Kane listed Brock's accomplishments.
"And you think you can defeat him? I really do doubt that and quite frankly if you do somehow manage it and become WWE World Heavyweight Champion then that would mean disaster for this company, you would deface this illustrious company and all it stands for and you in possession of the title would tarnish it's great legacy and I cannot allow that so David get ready to feel the wrath of The Devil's Favourite Demon." Kane said coming down the ramp and into the ring to answer the challenge.
The bell rang and both men locked up as David quickly got in an armlock and flipped Kane to the ground and just kept him down but then brought him up and threw him off the ropes and getting the Lou Thesz press nailing him with fists to his face as he kept on hitting them even ignoring the referee until he finally stopped and brought him up and just threw him into the corner and began driving his shoulders into his abdomen then brought him out and took him up with a snap suplex, 1-2-NO HE KICKS OUT!
He brought Kane up and with the front full nelson on him and drove the knees into him as each one was as vicious as the next he dropped Kane and he just quickly rolled to the outside trying to get some distance, he turned towards the ring A SENTON SPLASH TO KANE! David came flying from the ring right into Kane as he was relentless in his assault.
Raw came back on air and Kane had taken control during the commercial break as he had David in a nerve hold clutching his massive right hand onto his left shoulder, the pain was taking it's toll on David but he then started to power out of it and was up on one knee then up to his feet and broke the hold he got in and uppercut but Kane countered with his uppercut staggering him Kane went up high and was looking to deliver the clothesline and came off…HE GOT HIM!
Kane was looking to put him away as he had the right hand poised up ready to send him to hell he wrapped the hand around his throat and took him up CHOKESL-NO HE GOT FREE! David landed on his feet behind Kane SUPERKICK! Kane staggered to the ropes and came off them A SECOND SUPERKICK! That shot sent Kane to he ground as David decided to go up high as he stalked him as Kane got to his feet and turned around KNEE FROM THE TOP ROPE! He went down again and David decided to end it.
Grabbing a groggy Kane he had him up onto his shoulders and SEEING RED! Driving him into the mat he decided to not go for the cover but went for a submission HE LOCKS IN THE DRAGON TRAP! The Big Red Machine struggled as the hold was too much for him to handle and HE TAPS OUT!
With a win for his open challenge David had just shown the critics, the locker room and also The Beast Incarnate why he was Number One Contender.

David was walking backstage and a lot of eyes were on him after that as he was then blocked by a wall, a near five hundred pound wall in The Big Show.
"What? You think you proved anything by throwing that open challenge? You proved nothing, Kane is one of the best competitors and one of the few guys I respect here but you…you're just some punk kid who was in the right place at the right time and also Seth Rollins should be Number One Contender not a nobody, so I'll tell you what why don't you bring your ass to SmackDown! and I show you why they call me The World's Largest Athlete." The Giant challenged him to a match thisThursday.
"Since you asked so nicely, I accept and for the record Kane was once respected here but now like yourself you've both sold out and after what you did at Survivor Series I'm looking to return the favour do a warning to you, I'm going to tell you what I told Brock Lesnar earlier…Don't underestimate me." David stated walking away as the match was set for next week.
THURSDAY NIGHT
"Ladies and gentlemen my guest right now, The Big Show." Rene Young introduced him as The Giant came into view.
"Big Show last week David Redd threw out an open challenge to anyone who doubted his Number One Contender status and Kane answered the challenged and David was able to defeat him but then you threw a challenge out to him for tonight why is that?" she asked.
"I said that Seth Rollins should be the Number One Contender and I stick by that and as for David Redd he's a nobody, a punk and a lucky one at that but he thinks he can now beat Brock Lesnar? Even I had trouble beating Brock Lesnar and let me tell you and the rest of the world Brock Lesnar will tear David Redd apart unless he's able to make it past me when I knock him out." Big Show stated leaving for the match.
WWWWeeeelllll…It's the Big Show!
Crank it up hit as The World's Largest Athlete made his way out and he only had one thing in mind destruction as he made his way out and the chants of "You sold out" from the WWE Universe as he shouted back at them in anger and just entered the ring as he was looking to make good on his words last week.
OUT OF MY WAY!
Out of my way hit and The Red Dragon made his way out as he walked down the ramp and looking towards the ring seeing his opponent as he went into the ring and was all focused on this matchup against a giant challenge.
The bell rang and the match was officially on and straight away Big Show just rushed at David and drove him into the corner and began drilling him in the body with his massive fists each one a heavy blow to his body as he started talking trash to him while doing so as he then held him down with one hand and then motioned to the crowd…"SSSSHHHH" and with one open hand he dropped it across the chest of David with force as he'd already taken control of the match.
"LOOK AT YOU NOW HUH?!" Show shouted at him.
"WHAT YOU GONNA DO NOW HUH?!" Show kept on shouting at him.
David then started to get to his feet and turned to face The Giant and defiantly told him to bring it as he came at him David ducked a shot and he dropkicked him but it only made him angrier as he rushed at him but he ducked him once more as he fell onto the ropes and David then dropkicked him in the back and he went over and out to the outside, with him landing on his feet he turned around SEONTON SPLASH TO BIG SHOW!
The Giant was down for the first time in the match as David got to his feet and went back into the ring as Show was getting back up and David had to keep him down and from the ring A SECOND SENTON SPLASH! He got him again with the move and had The World's Largest Athlete on all fours crawling away as he got up to one knee and turned around and A THIRD SENTON SPLASH FROM THE APRON!
David did his primal roar and started to slap himself in the face to fire himself up as he grabbed Big Show's head and with all his strength got him into the ring as he went up to the top rope and was measuring him as he was up to his feet A KNEE FROM THE TOP! He decked him with that move as he went back up again as Big Show as he was getting up and from the top he stalked him again LOU THESZ PRESS! He took him down and drilled him with the fists.
Knowing he had this match he waited for Show to get to up as he got to one knee…SUPERKICK! He was still up A SECOND SUPERKICK! He was staggered but still up and A THIRD SUPERKICK! He had toppled The Giant was down and he was about to go in for the kill.
He grabbed the massive left leg of The World's Largest Athlete and HE LOCKS IN THE TOS! Big Show was in agony as his screams could be heard throughout the place as David was putting all his weight and his strength into this but Big Show was not having any of it and began crawling as he managed to make it to the bottom rope and David was forced by the referee to break the hold.
Big Show rolled underneath the bottom rope and was limping as the hold took it's toll on him but David knew he had to stay on the attack and he went to the outside apron and from there he dived at him HE GOT CAUGHT! Show had him in a bear hug and just drove him into the ring post back first as he'd taken control but his leg was still bothering him.
David crawled to the barrier and was using it to prop himself up as Show saw him and had him in his sights and he just screamed and charged at him and HE GOT OUT OF THE WAY AND SHOW WENT CRASHING THROUGH THE BARRIER!
The referee was counting for them to get back in the ring as Big Show was not moving among the mass heap of a destroyed barricade and David was struggling to get back in after the shot to the ring post but he crawled and the count was at six he reached up to the apron and pulled himself up the count was at seven, he got up to the apron and by nine he rolled in and he counted ten IT WAS OVER!
"Here is your winner by count out, David Redd!" Eden announced as Big Show was still trying to get back up.
The Red Dragon once again proving he deserved to be in the main event of the Royal Rumble as Big Show still reeling could not believe he lost like that as David celebrated his win.

"This is why we need order around here so stuff like this can't happen!" Rollins ranted as he, Kane, Big Show and J & J were feeling the same.
"What can we do it's not like we can get them back?" Show said.
Seth then had an idea. "Kane you still have pull in corporate?" he asked.
"Some why?" Kane asked.
"I got an idea how to make this right." Rollins said making the plan.
MONDAY NIGHT
Seth Rollins was in the ring with J & J, Big Show and Kane as he had a mic.
"I'm here tonight to make a statement to one man and that is The Red Dragon, David Redd." Rollins made it clear why he was out there.
"Now I made a challenge to David Redd on social media and he accepted a match for tonight and if I win tonight then The Authority is back in power!" Rollins said as the WWE Universe booed to that stipulation.
"However if and if I lose tonight then I will hand over my Money in the Bank briefcase to David Redd." Rollins said the other stipulation as the WWE Universe loved that stipulation.
"So David I want you to know that I will defeat you and I will bring order back to the WWE when The Authority returns tonight!" Rollins stated.

All night was abuzz after the match had added stipulations which could affect the future of WWE but another question has arisen in the back.
"Where is David Redd?!"
"As anyone seen him?!"
"He's going on in an hour!"
Hearing he wasn't around or even seen Paige called his phone to find out where he was.
"This is David, you know what to do." his voicemail sounded instantly. "Dave where are you?! This is the seventh message I've sent you! You have a match in an hour and no one has seen or heard from you all day?! Get here now!" she said leaving the voicemail.

Second coming hit as Seth Rollins along with J &J, Kane and Big Show made their way out and none of the group looked worried as they made their way down and Rollins entered the ring as he awaited his opponents arrival.
OUT OF MY WAY!
Out of my way hit and The Red Dragon was to make an appearance and there was no one emerging from the entrance as people began to get confused and concerned as David was not appearing but then Rollins grabbed a mic.
"David? David? Come on Dave where are ya? You accept my challenge and you don't show up? Well since you won't referee you can ring the bell." Rollins told the official who reluctantly did so.
He began to wait and after several minutes he called Lillian over to tell her the decision he made.
"Here is your winner by forfeit…Seth Rollins!" she announced.
The celebration in the ring began as King of Kings hit and both Triple H and Stephanie made their way out and went to the ring to congratulate Rollins on his victory and bringing them back to power.
Meanwhile in the back people were in shock and now wanted answers to why this was happening but the question was still on everyone's mind
WHERE THE HELL IS DAVID REDD?!
Where is David? How did this happen?
