Chapter 25: Money
MONDAY NIGHT
The Authority was in the ring and after the controversy last week involving Seth Rollins and David Redd and the outcome of the match questions were being asked and there was no answers given but tonight there may be some as Triple H had a mic.
"Weee'rrreee bbbbaaaaccckkkk!" Hunter mocked the WWE Universe. "Yes you thought you saw the last of us after Survivor Series? Well guess what you were wrong and we have one man to thank…Seth Rollins." Hunter announced.
"Thank you Hunter I appreciate that but the credit should also go to the rest of the team who not without their help this would not be possible." Rollins acknowledged the rest of the Authority who were in on the plan.
"Now Seth we are so grateful for what you cam up with to get us back here that we've decided that you will be added to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at the Royal Rumble!" Stephanie announced an addition to the title match.
"However we need to address the situation surrounding the outcome of the match last week in witch David Redd was a no-show and we are currently investigating it." Hunter said as no one bought that.
"David Redd, wherever you are I hope you don't show your face back here as you let down a lot of people last week but if you do decide to come out of hiding or whatever happened to you then I hope I get to stomp your face again in just like I will do to Brock Lesnar." Rollins stated.
"But that's not all as tonight we would like to ask later tonight to speak to the individuals who were part of Team Redd and instrumental in getting us out of power to be present as we need to clear the air with you four." Hunter said calling out the rest of Team Redd's members.

The Authority was backstage and they were already making their presence known as they bumped into Dolph Ziggler.
"Ah Dolph we were hoping to catch you." Hunter said.
"Whatever you want just get it over with ok." Ziggler said not even caring.
"Well you should hear this as it's to your match tonight against Bad News Barrett." Hunter said making the match.
"That it?" Ziggler said not caring again.
"And it's for your Intercontinental Championship." Stephanie chimed in making his match for his title.
"Why am I not surprised?" Ziggler said knowing them too well.
"Oh and that match is next." Hunter said as Ziggler had to go and defend his title.
As they continued to walk the hallways they were then blocked by three certain individuals.
"Gentlemen what can we do for you?" Hunter asked as he was faced by John Cena, Daniel Bryan and Ryback.
"Cut the crap Hunter! Just tell us what you did to David?" Bryan demanded to know of David's whereabouts.
"What do mean "did" to him?" Hunter asked.
"Don't play games with us, we know and everyone knows he would not back down from a fight now just admit you did something to him." Cena asked them again.
"John, really we have no idea what you're referring to." Stephanie said.
"We all know you had something to do with his no-showing last week and since then no word or any sort of sighting has been made from him so one last time what did you do to him?" Ryback asked again.
"You've been eating too much Big Guy it's cut the oxygen off to that small brain of yours, David Redd is a coward he knew he would lose and decided to tuck his tail between his legs and run so that's not our fault!" Seth said as they all walked past them.
But then Hunter turned around and faced them. "Oh and one more thing you all are in a handicap tag team action against, Seth Rollins, Kane, Big Show and J & J, good luck guys!" he said walking off.

It was now the end of the night and all of the WWE locker room was at ringside and The Authority was in the ring.
"You're all wondering why we called out the entire locker room to ringside? Well after we showed once again why we are the Authority around here and now we are about to demonstrate that again as we would like to call out the four individuals who had some really great matches tonight and please no entrance music." Hunter requested they not come out to their entrances.
John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Ryback and Dolph Ziggler who is no longer Intercontinental Champion thanks to The Authority all stood atop the stage facing their superiors.
"Look we know your all a bit mad that we put you in those situations tonight but we wanted to do that because you did what many did not do and that was defy us, your little rebellion ended in us being forced out of power thanks to the actions of all of you and a certain individual but that same individual is the reason we are back and is the reason for this." Stephanie explained to everyone.
"John Cena…Daniel Bryan…Ryback…Dolph Ziggler…YOU'RE FIR-"
Here come the money!
Here comes the money hit and that was the music of one man and out from the back emerged Shane McMahon as he mad his way down and walked past the number of superstars who let him pass and he entered the ring and had a mic in his hand.
"You guys look a little shocked to see me? You did get the memo right?" Shane asked them.
They all checked their phones and opened their inboxes and saw a memo sent to then directly from corporate.
"As of yesterday the WWE is proud to welcome back Shane McMahon to our company and is our new Executive of WWE." Hunter read the letter.
"However and due to the blatant power abuse by The Authority and after being brought back to power they will be allowed to run the show as always but under supervision?!" Stephanie read out as they could not believe that.
"And the supervisor will be revealed tonight on Raw." Hunter said as they all wondered who that was.
"That's why I'm here tonight to introduce you to the Supervisor to The Authority…Shane McMahon!" Shane announcing himself as the Supervisor.
"Now my first act is to ill advise you in firing some our talent and with that said they are not fired." Shane said not letting Cena, Ziggler, Bryan and Ryback be fired.
"Second I believe you were looking for someone." Shane said.
OUT OF MY WAY!
Out of my way hit and out came David and he was wearing an orange jumpsuit as he walked down to the ring and was stopped by the superstars around the ring but then they began to stand aside as he walked through and entered the ring and was face to face with The Authority.
"You found him." Hunter said not believing it.
"Yeah funny story, he was detained for being an illegal immigrant which had me baffled so I went back to corporate headquarters and discovered that someone had "misplaced" his working visa and documents which resulted in his arrest so after I was able to present these to the judge he was released." Shane explained the entire situation.
David was handed the mic. "First off glad your back as things were getting a bit mundane around here and second you wonder after all that time I spent on the inside that I would not amused but all I can say is…well played." he complimented them on the tactic to have him locked up on false charges.
"I would never have thought to do that but you had me locked up a week just to bring yourselves back in power or should I be complimenting the genius himself Seth Rollins?" David said as Rollins bragged about what he did.
"Now since I am free and with no charges pending I can now do this." David then opened the orange jumpsuit and his hand inside it and produced the red crowbar.
The entire Authority began to back up seeing him brandish the weapon in their direction and decided to turn tail and leave as they had lost this battle.
"Oh Seth just to be clear you think getting into the championship match at the Royal Rumble was a good idea? Well let's just say this will be part two in me giving you the arse kicking you deserve you weasel!" David stated his plan for Rollins as The Authority left and with David and the new Executive and Supervisor to The Authority Shane McMahon.

Backstage David was being swarmed by a number of superstars and being questioned by interviewers who he gave short answers as he wanted to be alone.
"Did you get any messages?" it was Paige talking to him.
"I checked my phone as I got out and had about over five hundred new messages yours were around forty two of those." David said.
"You've been incarcerated for a week and that's all you can say is "well played" to the people who did this to you?!" Paige said not believing his response to the situation.
"It was and it's not like it was my first time." David reminded her of a time ago.
"Dave don't remind me you almost ruined your life." she said as it was a dark memory.
"I'd do it again in a heartbeat." he said not regretting his decision that day.
"Oh my god there you are!" it was Sasha and she just ran up to David and hugged him hard and gave him a kiss.
"I was going to call as soon as I could but had to deal with this first." David assured his girlfriend.
"No it's fine and why are you still wearing the uniform they gave you?" she asked.
"Didn't have time to change why you not approve?" David asked her.
"It suits you so do I get a conjugal visit…convict?" Sasha asked as both leaned in close to one another.
"Well I was inside for so long and it was so lonely and only a woman's touch could heal my ordeal." David said.
She then leaned up to his ear and whispered something and walked away.
David then turning to Paige had a devious grin on his face. "I have to go." he said.
"Oh I would not have guessed have fun kids." Paige joked as he ran off.
MONDAY NIGHT
David was arriving back to work but was then stopped by Hunter and Stephanie.
"David we need to talk." Hunter asked.
David crossed his arms. "Fair enough as your back in power I have no choice." he said.
"Good, now David we've noticed that you have anger issues and we feel that you may not be fit for your championship match this Sunday and have decided you will undergo anger therapy but it will require an entire week's worth and if you are fit then we will allow you to be in the match this Sunday at the rumble." Stephanie explained.
David was a little annoyed knowing they were trying to keep him out of the match.
"And I feel that we should do this." it was Shane. "But I have a more effective and faster way to determine this, unless you disagree with me?" he asked Hunter and Stephanie.
"Uh no, no we're all on board it's just that-"
"Just what? You don't think David should be fairly evaluated in time for his match this Sunday?" Shane said if they questioned his decision.
"We…agree." Hunter reluctantly said.
"Wonderful, now David meet the therapist who will be assessing you." Shane introduced them.
"Hello David I'm Dr. Shelby." Dr. Shelby introduced himself as they shook hands.
They went into an empty office and both took a seat.
"Now David I would like to get to the root of any issues of anger and let's start with your childhood." he asked as David lied down.
"It all started on a warm summer's eve…"

The night went on and it was now two hours into David's anger therapy.
"Well David I believe we have one more test to administer before we finish our session and we'll begin with some word picture association, now what do you see here?" Dr. Shelby asked.
Then he was shown a picture of the Director of Operations.
"Big Red Bitch." he replied.
Then a picture of Seth Rollins.
"Weasel." he replied.
Then a picture of Paige was shown.
"Complicated." he replied.
Then a picture of Stephanie.
"Daddy's girl." he replied.
And finally a picture of Triple H.
"Old man." he replied.
"Alright David I believe I can make my final assessment." Dr. Shelby said.

The Authority and their Supervisor were outside awaiting the results from Dr. Shelby as he emerged.
"So doctor what is the diagnosis is he in need of more therapy?" Shane asked.
"I've done every test and with all of my findings I can say that David…"
David then emerged from the office.
"…is a fine example of anger control and I deem him mentally fit for this Sunday." Dr Shelby said giving David the stamp of approval.
"Wonderful news! David you have a contract signing to be attending to." Shane reminded him as David nodded and headed off.
"Are you serious right now?!" Hunter shouted at Shane.
"That man assaulted us several times!" Stephanie also shouted.
Dr. Shelby then stepped in. "Clearly my work is not done tonight, I think we need to address the situation with both your anger issues, please step into my office as they reluctantly did so.
"Don't worry guys I'll oversee everything." Shane said to them as he was left in charge.

The ring was set up and in there was Shane McMahon.
"After all the chaos we've had these past two weeks I am pleased to announce we will have a triple threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as we will tonight sign the contract as I call out challenger number one, he is The Future of WWE and Mr. Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins." he introduced.
Second coming hit and out came Rollins with J & J Security as now he'd gotten The Authority back in power but the catch was that they were under supervision by the man overseeing the singing as they all made their way to the ring and got in as Rollins shot a glare at Shane.
"Next is the second challenger as he is The Puckish Rogue and The Red Dragon, David Redd!" Shane introduced him.
OUT OF MY WAY!
Out of my way hit and out came David who was given the all clear and was looking to make a statement as he made his way down and into the ring as he did not take his eyes of Rollins who's security team surrounded him.
"And finally he is The-"
"Excuse me sir but I would like to introduce my client." as it was Paul Heyman who made his way down to the ring and entered.
"My name is Mr. Paul Heyman and I am the Advocate of the reigning, defending, Undisputed WWE World Heavyweight Champion, The One in Twenty One and One, The Conquerer, The Beast Incarnate…Brock Lesnar!" he introduced.
The next big thing hit and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar made his way out as he was full of confidence and off his win from John Cena at TLC he was now not taking on one opponent but two as he made his way down and began his pace and then jumped up to the ring and entered it as he faced down both challengers.
"Alright gentlemen shall we begin with the contract signing?" Shane asked as they all took a seat.
They all sat facing one another as each of them put their signatures on it.
"You know guys even if I fail to win." Rollins said as he held up his briefcase. "There's always Plan B." he said as he made it clear what his plan was.
"Wow Seth you really have it all figured out right? Get your Ooompa Lumpa's to help you, ask Mummy and Daddy to save you and then if all else fails use your little contract there and try to win again, you really are a true champion in the making aren't you Seth?" David sarcastically said.
"Listen here jailbird, I outsmarted you and had you locked up and I'm here now so just you wait until I get my hands on you this Sunday and I'll-"
"Winge? Whine? Complain? Throw tantrums? Seth you are a complete weasel, you wormed your way into this match and quite frankly neither of us deserve to be in this spot but if I have to make sure The Authority does not gain control of the championship." David stated.
Rollins looked like he was about to attack David as he dared him to do it but then the table got flipped over to one side as it was Lesnar who had enough and stood in the centre of where the table was and had a mic.
"If you lovebirds are done, why don't we just settle it now?" Lesnar said as he dropped the mic.
Rollins looked ready but decided to leave as David and Lesnar were left alone as they stood face to face…ROLLINS BLASTED LESNAR WITH THE BRIEF CASE! Lesnar was down but David quickly threw some fists to Rollins who also threw him some fists as they went back and fourth but Rollins went to throw another fist…RED MIST TO ROLLINS!
Rollins was blinded as he tired to see where he was and HE GOT GRABBED BY LESNAR AND AN F5! He drove him into the mat for the briefcase shot.
Then it was both leaving David and Lesnar alone in the ring as David grabbed the WWE World Heavyweight title and held it up then looked to it but then gave it back to the champion and left making it clear he was coming for it.
How does this keep happening to him? Will David make history? What does The Authority have planned?
