The Authority vs. Dolph Ziggler, Ryback & Erik Rowan

The Authority wanted to make an example at the beginning of tonight's show as Seth Rollins, Kane and The Big Show took on Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erik Rowan and the match had descended into chaos but the cheating tactics of Rollins paid off getting them the win but his victory was ended with him being chased out of there by RANDY ORTON?! The Viper was back and he wanted payback against the man who led the assault against him back in November as this was only the beginning.

The tag team division had heated up with the arrival of new teams and the latest challenge to the champions was the team of Tyson Kidd and Cesaro who had been on their game since forming and had climbed the ranks of number one contenders and The Usos were in a fight with these two as it was back and fourth and despite the interference of both Naomi and Natalya in the end the match and the titles belonged to Kidd and Cesaro.

For weeks Dean Ambrose had been looking to become Intercontinental Champion and was finally granted his title match after beating the champion as the match was all hard hitting moves and the unpredictability of Ambrose was throwing Barrett off his game but in the end Barrett got himself disqualified and Ambrose in retaliation stole the title.

The Bellas have been trying to keep the Divas title in their camp since winning it and now Nikki has two challengers to deal with as she took on Paige and Hayami who were both double teaming Nikki and keeping Brie out of the match under triple threat rules but they then faced one another as it was a one on one with one hitting the others finisher and not getting the three as the fight intensified Brie took out Hayami leaving it open for Nikki to attack Paige with the Rack Attack and retain her title.

Backstage David was preparing for his match and was approached by Shane who was in referee attire.

"David I already went through this with Hunter and to be clear this match will have a definitive winner so all I have to say is good luck to you." Shane extended his hand.

"Thank you sir and if things do get out of hand then I am prepared as I know the oild man is as well." David made clear as Shane nodded and left him.

David went back to his preparations and bumped into two very disappointed Divas.

"They got us good." Paige said holding her head.

"Should've seen them coming." Hayami said holding her arm.

"I take it you both had a wild night?" David asked them as they both sighed.

"That is an understatement." Paige said.

"Do you ever stop with the puns Gaijin?" Hayami sarcastically asked him.

"Only when it stops being funny." David answered.

"So you ready for this then?" Paige asked him.

"As always I know he's got a plan and so do I." David said as he had his weapon of choice ready on him.

"Always the answer eh? Break it until it feels better." Paige said as he chuckled a little.

"I never understood your methods Gaijin but it works," Hayami said agreeing with his approach.

The call for his match was heard as it was time.

"Time to go, I'll see you both after." David asked.

"Yeah and Dave for the love of everything that is decent in this world do not lose otherwise you won't hear the end of this from mum or dad and I won't hear the end of it from them and my brothers will poke fun at you each time you're down so just win ok?" Paige said.

"Oh I have to win now, I can't let them all hold that over me forever." David said as that fired him up more not to want the humiliation he would gain from back home.

"David Thomas Reddington get out there, beat that fossil and claim your place in the main event at WrestleMania." Paige told him as he went right out to the match.

"The following contest is a Lumberjack match where if David Redd wins he will get his rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania!" Lillian announced.

"Introducing first the special guest referee for this match he is a WWE Executive and Supervisor to The Authority Shane McMahon!" she introduced him.

Here comes the money!

Here comes the money hit and dancing his way out was Shane McMahon in referee attire as he made his way down the ramp and into the ring to officiate this match.

As then out came the superstars who will be surrounding the ring for this match they all made their way out and were now at ringside for this contest.

OUT OF MY WAY!

Out of my way hit and out came The Red Dragon who was about to have the biggest test of his young career as he was looking to go to the Grandest Stage Of Them All and get his rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight championship as he made his way out and down the ramp and entered the ring as he unzipped his hoodie as he revealed his ribs were taped from the sledgehammer attack, and took it off awaiting his opponents arrival.

Behold the king…the king of kings…there is only one…

The Game hit and out came The Game, The Cerebral Assassin and The King of Kings and the Chief Operator of Operations made his way down the ramp and doing his usual entrance as he was ready to put a stop to David's WrestleMania dreams and hopping up to the apron he did his signature pose and spat his water out and entered the ring and was all fired up for this.

The bell rang and it was now official as Hunter began the trash talking towards David and A HEADBUTT FROM DAVID! He caught him by surprise as David got him in a takedown and started reigning the fists onto him and then stopped as he was all fired up and went right after Hunter again and brought him up and threw him into the corner and began to thrust the shoulders into his gut sitting him in the corner and started to face wash him with his boot adding insult.

Not letting up the attack David brought him up and took him up and a snap suplex, 1-2-NO HE KICKS OUT! David was trying to end it quick but knew he needed to do more damage and threw him into the turnbuckle back first and got a huge splash squashing Hunter and brought him out of the corner as he hooked him in and dropped him with an exploder suplex 1-2-NO HE KICKS OUT! It wasn't enough to keep him down but then he rolled towards the outside apron and slowly fell to the outside but no superstar would touch their boss in fear of their jobs as they helped him up and even brought him some water as he re-hydrated…SENTON SPLASH TO THE OUTSIDE!

David not letting him get the rest decided to risk it and bring the fight to him and entered the lion's den as he did take some of them including Hunter out but the rest swarmed onto him and began attacking him as he was trying his best to defend himself and they did their part and threw him back into the ring and even allowed Hunter to get back in unharmed.

With David down as Hunter went on the attack with some stomps then a few fists to the head he brought him up to his feet and he went off the ropes and got in a massive knee lift to the face knocking David down and again off the ropes he hit's a massive knee drop off the back of his head then hit's a few more bringing him up once more he drops him ribs first onto his knee going after the abdomen which Hunter had injured a couple of weeks ago.

He got him up again and drove him back first into the corner and started to drive the shoulders into the abdomen once again targeting the area as the strategy was working he took him out of the corner and had him up on his shoulders and drove him into the mat with a slam, 1-2-NO HE GETS THE SHOULDER UP! Hunter not letting him get a seconds breath was going after his ribs again with stomps directly to them and brought him up to his feet as he locked in the abdominal stretch and was now torturing the injured ribs with all his strength he stretched the entire body of The Red Dragon.

Trying to get free David was yelling out in pain and even gritting his teeth to try and find a way out and was able to get one arm loose as that led to him drive elbows into Hunter's head as that got him off him and gave David a moment to feel relief as he was left on all fours trying to recover but The Game would not allow it as he just delivered a running kick to the ribs which sent David to the outside and into the hands of the lumberjacks who just mauled him they finished their assault and threw him back into the ring.

Once again Hunter had the upper hand and thanks mainly to the men on the outside as he hammered away on David with more stomps to his injured ribs and then brought him up and took him up onto his shoulders and was dropped back first onto his knee with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, 1-2-TH-NO HE KICKS OUT! Not letting up again he transitioned by grabbing David's arm which he used his legs to lock in and them cranking back on his head HE LOCKED THE CROSSFACE IN!

With the hold just wrenching and pulling back on all of David's upper body the pain was excruciating as it seemed David was trapped and would be tapping out but he once again showed how determined he was and started using his only free arm and clawed his way to the ropes with all the weight of Triple H on him he used everything he had to get to the ropes and by a couple of fingers he was able to grab the ropes and by the count of four Hunter broke the hold.

Bringing him back up to a vertical base Hunter with a kick to the midsection and hooked the arms and A PEDIGREE! Driving him into the mat, 1-2-THR-NO HE GETS THE SHOULDER UP! No one could believe how close the match ended there and for David to even got his shoulder up as Hunter got him up again and threw him into the turnbuckle and began to slap him across the face and berating him but David with a burst of strength just tackled him to the ground and the fists just came down on The Game as The Red Dragon was unleashing his full fury on his opponent.

Not giving him a chance David just waited for him to get up and nailed the sequence of dropkicks as each one connected to the face of Triple H he was floored by them all, David not stopping he went behind him and just back dropped him and brought him up and threw him to the outside into the hands of the lumberjacks as again no one was going to attack their boss as he was helped up but then Hunter hit one of the lumberjacks out of confusion and that ignited a beat down from them as they all mauled him, now being given the same treatment as David he was then thrown back in as the match had been turned around.

David quickly was on the attack he got an uppercut in as Hunter fell against the ropes and came off them and SUPERKICK! He was down but David not wasting time was looking to end it and had him up on his shoulders and HE DROPS HIM WITH SEEING RED! 1-2-THR-NO HE GETS THE SHOULDER UP! David could not believe how close that was as he got his shoulder up before three and not wasting a second David dragged Hunter near to the corner and David went up the top rope and from there A MOONSAU-HUNTER GOT HIS KNEES UP AT THE LAST SECOND!

The hit and his injured ribs on top of it made things worse as Hunter was back up and not even knowing it David turned around holding his ribs he walked into an inverted facbuster as it then led to a DOUBLE A SPINEBUSTER! The Game had hit his signature move as he was back in the match and quickly brought David to his feet and hooked his arms and NAILS THE PEDIGREE! A second time he got the Pedigree in and goes for the cover 1-2-THR-NO HE KICKS OUT BEFORE THREE!

The Cerebral Assassin could not believe he had kicked out a second time from his finishing move and was beginning to get a little frustrated and was looking to pint the blame at the referee and confronted Shane who was telling him he had made the count as fair as he could and Hunter threw a warning his way HE WALKED INTO A THESZ PRESS! Out of completely nowhere David took down Hunter with the press and just brought down more fists on him and it had fired David up as he began to slap himself across the face and did his primal roar and just went right at Hunter and grabbed his leg and turned him over and HE LOCKS IN THE TOS! It is known as one of the most deadliest holds in WWE as the hold was tearing into his surgically repaired knee.

Hunter was screaming out in pain and was trying to reach to the bottom rope as the entire of bodyweight of The Red Dragon was on top of him but using all his strength he was crawling to the bottom and with one massive push he reached for the bottom rope and David was forced to break the hold as he reluctantly did but Hunter then was trying to stand up and was having difficulty doing so and that caused Shane to call a time to check on him and David at bay while he looked as he told him how bad it was and called for help from the back and out came a couple of officials to help Hunter to the back and it seemed the match was over as he was escorted out and David turned to ask Shane the verdict…HE WAS ATTACKED FROM BEHIND BY HUNTER!? He was faking his injury and brought him up quickly and a kick to the abdomen, hooking his arms A PEDIGREE! He covered him as Shane reluctantly counted, 1-2-THR-NO HE GETS THE SHOULDER UP BEFORE THREE!

The King of Kings could not believe he kicked out again from his finishing move again and after the dirty tactic he was still in the match and now The Game had that look in his eyes as he grabbed David brought him up and threw him to the outside where he was set upon by the lumberjacks and while that was going on Hunter went to the outside and with no one noticing him he was looking underneath the ring and pulled out his trusty sledgehammer and then with the weapon in hand threatened the other lumberjacks to back away as David was leaned over the announce table and in perfect position, Hunter was lining up a shot as he looked to crush his skull with the hammer and swings for it…DAVID GOT OUT OF THE WAY! Sensing it David avoided the possible career ending blow and Hunter swung at him again as David ducked A SUPERKICK SENDS HUNTER FLYING ONTO THE TABLE!

Out of nowhere he hit the kick as no one was stopping him David went underneath the ring and pulled out his crowbar as the lumberjacks tried to attack him he fought them off with the weapon as other lumberjacks were trying to assault Hunter he was able to bring himself around and getting his weapon back was also fighting them off with the sledgehammer, both men were taking out the lumberjacks as Shane tried to get some order in the match and took their weapons off them and ordered them back into the ring as they both did.

They just threw wild fists at one another as it just turned into a brawl with neither man letting up on the other Hunter went for a heavy right but missed and David countered with a SUPERKI-NO HE DUCKED IT AND SHANE GOT HIT! Realising he had done that unintentionally David went after Hunter again A LOW BLOW BY HUNTER! He had gotten in a desperate move and knew he had his chance and called from the back and out came Rollins, Kane, Big Show and J & J Security, as Show and Kane were taking out lumberjacks while the rest of The Authority attacked David as Noble went to the outside and grabbed the sledgehammer and handed it to Triple H who looked to finish the job as they held David up he looked to end the career and WrestleMania dreams of The Red Dragon…

THE LIGHTS WENT OUT?!

….after a few moments they cam back on and all members of The Authority were down in the ring with Show on the outside still as it was revealed to be STING?! The Vigilante made his presence once more and seeing the man who helped cost him his job once again interfere in his business as he quickly had his baseball bat to Hunter's throat backing him up to the corner and dropping his weapon but in came Big Show and Kane as they were looking to crush The Icon but Sting was ready however and ducked a clothesline attempt from Kane and NAILS HIM WITH THE BAT TO THE GUT! AND ANOTHER SHOT TO THE GUT OF SHOW! They both went to the outside and were set upon by the remaining lumberjacks as Triple H tried to attack Sting HE RAN INTO A SUPERKICK FROM DAVID!

Sting looked to David and nodded as he grabbed Show and pushed him to the outside and now Hunter was all alone as he was getting to his feet David had to finish this as he took Hunter by his head and with all his strength had him up high DROPS HIM WITH A BRAINBUSTER! Shane was coming around and made the count…1-2-3 IT WAS OVER!

David Redd was going to WrestleMania as Shane raised his hand up high and once again he had defeated Triple H and The Authority but now he had his sights on one goal the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

David was now in the back watching the main event while having his ribs tended to by Sasha.

"Bryan's feeling it!" Cole said.

"It's all or nothing now Daniel!" JBL said.

Bryan was in the corner looking for the flying the knee and he went for it…

"Roman ducked it and SPEAR!" Cole shouted.

"Goodnight!" JBL shouted.

1-2-3 IT WAS OVER!

David now knew who he would also be facing at WrestleMania as Roman Reigns would be meeting him there.

"Now it begins…but can I do it?" David said. "Am I in over my head?" David doubted himself.

"David." she put a hand to his face as he looked to her. "You can do this, you got this far why stop now?" she said as he smiled.

"Yeah why stop now, I'm this close now to becoming WWE World Heavyweight Champion…I don't care if it's Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar I will become champion." David stated as they kissed.

David has done it but now he must get there first, what will be the fallout of this? Will The Authority seek revenge?
