Crazy: Hey there everyone! Sorry for such long radio silence. School and life, in general, has become a serious obstacle. I found this one-shot written out in one of my notebooks and decided to type it up. I can't promise updates for much else, but I do hope you enjoy this little diddly I have. Enjoy!
The day was beautiful. The setting sun was painting the most exquisite sunset as a gorgeous blonde woman in a white dress gracefully walked up the aisle towards her lover. All around her trees surrounded a meadow while flower petals outlined the invisible isle. On all sides, well dress people stood and watched as the Chickie, the wife to be, made her way to the altar holding a beautiful bouquet of Red Carnations, Rose of Sharon, bindweed, and white forget-me-nots.
Everything was perfected, as long as you didn't look at the bridal party and groomsmen. Instead of carefully crafted beauty which was the norm for weddings, they instead looked as if they had been put through the wringer. Their hair was stuck sticking up every which way while their makeup and outfits were all in tatters. Chickie surprisingly didn't seem upset with how her friends, Raven and Crazy, looked and in fact, gave the girls a wink as she neared them.
The ceremony went off without a hitch, even with a weird looking set of bridesmaids and groomsmen. Once the vows were said and "I do"'s exchanged, everyone set off for the reception, which was set up just inside the mouth of the forest. The place was set up just as extravagantly as the wedding itself. Glow stone hung from the branches in hand-carved structures and was interwoven inside each centerpiece as to provide enough light for guests. The makeshift dancefloor had several lights and a nicely sized sound system set up. at each table, folded napkins sat atop plates with silverware set off to the side next to crystal cups.
Eventually, the bridesmaids and groomsmen re-emerged but this time changed into nice and clean clothing with their makeup and hair all redone to perfection. Many party guests shrugged off their previous look and just went on to have their fun, but there was a small group who were just too curious for their own good. After Crazy had finished dancing with her brother, she went over to the refreshment table and grabbed a couple snacks the youngest hunter began to make her way back towards her table. On her way, she was quickly mobbed by the curious people who began to ask questions at rapid fire speed. Thankfully before she could answer the second groomsman swooped in claiming she forgot a drink and pulled her free.
With their plan foiled the group decided to try and find another target. Just as they were about to start looking, a clinking noise began and caused a hush over the crowd. Turning their attention to the front they saw standing next to a black haired girl who had been the one to cause the silence next to the microphone set up near the dance stage. Many recognized her as 's girlfriend, Morgan. She was a new addition to the city of budder and ended up causing Crazy and to break up a while back. Things had smoothed over since then, but you could tell how tense situations could become between the trio and the couple. Not to say the Hunters were not polite, but it took Crazy a while to get over him and that made for overprotective friends and a rocky road to forgiveness and a new friendship.
cleared his throat before speaking. "I would like to propose a toast to the husband and wife." He spoke clearly and sidestepped so Morgan could finish off the split toast.
"We wish you all the happiness and joy in the world!" She spoke kindly before lifting her drink up and bringing it to her lips and taking a sip. Everyone followed. This began the long train of toasts. All of them ranged from hilarious to tear-jerking. Eventually, the semi-reclusive trio made their way up to the microphone. Crazy flanked Raven's left while Compass stuck to her left side. The mic was located in front of Raven, who proceeded to clear her throat before addressing the cheerful couple.
"We would like to offer you our love, joy, and support to the bride and groom on this journey we call life." The blonde hunter spoke confidently. She moved over as Compass stepped up to the mic.
"May your path always be clear and your life fruitful." He spoke before stepping for his sister to step up. Backing away he wrapped his arm around Raven's shoulders and simply stood next to her as he listened to Crazy finish off their toast.
"Never forget of the people supporting you. Even when the storm seems impossible, you may find shelter in us. We wish you the best." Raising her glass Crazy took a long swig as everyone else followed suit. Chickie smiled softly at the three as tears gathered in her eyes. Making their way back the bride rose and engulfed them in a hug as her husband followed suit. This seemed to start a chain reaction and caused a large group hug. Once sediments were said and everyone had eaten their fill, the party began to wind down. The group of curious guests finally had their chance to strike as Compass left Raven to go and get them some food. Striking, they attacked the lone woman, only less aggressive this time. A silently chosen spokesperson asked the question that was on all of their minds.
"What happened before the ceremony? You all looked like you had gotten into a fight with a group of squids!" Instead of the passive answer, they were expecting to receive from the normally stoic hunter they received a blush. Raven looked off to the side as her cheeks and even ears warmed up.
"I do believe that is a question for another time. Hopefully not for a long, long time." She mumbled the last part but the people closest to her still heard. Just as they were about to ask for more information Compass came in a swooped up his lover. Giving up the guests decided to file it away and hoped to someday get information for something that could make Raven blush was definitely something which needed to be investigated.
Crazy: Thank you for reading! I hope everyone enjoyed. I might make a part 2 but who knows? ;) Reviews are welcomed.
