Chapter 17 A Push Part 2
Naruto took a deep breath as he stood in front of a worn wooden door, finally he opened the door and walked down the uneven stairs down to the dark dingy basement which was serving as the makeshift command center. He turned toward the center of the room only to see almost everyone he was close to was gathered around a large table in the center of the room. For a moment Naruto stopped and looked at where he was at, this dark room was moldy with dripping water coming off the pipes stood in stark comparison to the well light perfectly clean ANBU Main Command Center he was used to. Maybe it was the differences in the planning table located in the center of the room. In the ANBU command center it was a massive perfectly even table which was designed to hold maps, the table they had was a sheet of plywood being held up by some sawhorses.
"How bad?" asked Naruto as he turned toward Sakura
"Overall not as bad as you would think." explained Sakura as she took a breath "Most of the injuries were taken care of by the demon healing chakra however we did have to treat the major injures."
"Such as?" asked her former sensei Kakashi Hatake.
"Deep muscle bruises, broken bones and many fractured ribs caused from taking massive beatings." Explained Shizune as she looked toward Kakashi. "Normally this people would have massive internal injuries some of them could have been fatal."
"All the stories are the same, they were beaten up by either their own neighbors or the local police which gathered them up." added Ino
"Ok, how many more people have arrived?" asked Naruto
"Another 460 people all in similar conditions to the first, according to the plan we are supposed to get another 1,000 by night fall with an additional 1,500 arriving the next day in three separate convoes." Explained Shikamaru as he looked down at the copy of the report. It was clear to him that this had to have been his father's doing, apart from himself there was no one else in the Leaf who could have organized the movement of 2,500 people from all over the country and had them all arrive within 48 hours of each other in just under a day.
"That is fast." stated Temari "Your father's planning I am guessing."
"I believe so." explained Shikamaru as he took a deep breath "However I hope he didn't do this."
Slowly he turned the paper around for everyone to see that the list of people who were coming to join them in the ghetto however instead of being listed as members of the convey they were listed as cargo.
"Did they really just list people as cargo?" asked Kiba
"So it would seem." added Naruto as all his friends looked at him.
"Listen Naruto I know you don't want to hear this but…." started Neji
"It's time to leave the village." finished Naruto as he leaned forward a bit resting his head in his hand.
"Sadly it looks that way." added Tenten "The conditions here are horrible and aren't going to improve any time soon."
"We have whole families crammed into single rooms and entire apartment complex floors sharing a single bathroom." added Hinata as she looked down "I have seen rats running out of the bathroom multiple times."
"Same here." confirmed Sakura "Also all these people crammed together in horrible conditions is a breeding ground for germs, we may have alot of sick people come winter if we don't leave or at least fix the conditions here."
"And judging from how they are treating us now it that will not happen." added Sai
"Naruto-kun, I know it is hard, I don't even want to say it but we have to leave." added Sakura "None of us are safe here, if the people of lightening can kill Killer B then the Leaf can kill us."
"I know." admitted Naruto "But the Leaf is our home, we swore an oath to defend it and protect the will of fire."
"Sorry but when the people we are sworn to protect are trying to kill us then we don't have to defend them." added Ino
"We don't have to make the call now, I wouldn't want to leave until we have everyone here and a well plan retreat." Added Shikamaru "They will have to decide on where we will go. Also it is unlikely but maybe the daimyo will change this whole thing around."
"Ok…but what are the options?" asked Naruto
"We only have a few options and only one of them is good." Explained Temari as she unrolled a map of the world onto the table. "Option one is that we move out of the Leaf and form our own small village within fire nation under the control of the daimyo and protection of the Leaf."
"How is that bad?" asked Kiba
"It isn't but it is highly unlikely that they would let us do that." Explained Temari "Option 2 is to seek settle in another nation but judging from the reports Shino has been getting that isn't a real option."
"What reports?" asked Naruto as he turned to Shino.
"I have some bugs in the communication office, seems like our demon brothers and sisters are generally in worst shape then we are." Explained Shino "Only jinchūriki in the Land of wind seem to be better off but not much."
"But the land of wind is almost all desert it can barely support itself." added Kakashi "There is no way we can go there in large numbers."
"You said there was one good option." Stated Naruto as he looked toward Temari.
"Yes, but it is out there." Expressed Temari
"Temari we now have demons joined with us, how much more far out can there be?" asked Ino
"Yes, but this is out there." expressed Temari "See according to Anita before they sealed themselves away in the Ark they put different supplies in multiple vaults in their village."
"And where is this village?" asked Ino
"In the land of Granite." Explained Temari as she pointed to a nation sea side nation located along with half dozen other smaller non ninja nations located to the south of the Land of Wind.
"But isn't the Land of Granite the poorest nations in the world?" asked Naruto
"Second poorest after Sound Country but we just crushed them in the war." Explained Temari "They have nothing but granite and Kamatayon island."
"Kamatayon isn't that the Death island?" asked Naruto as Temari nodded her head.
"If I remember that from school that island was nothing but black cliffs and mountains coming out from on top of those." recalled Tenten "Largest island in the world but no one lives there because it is all mountains and unforgiven conditions."
"Also it is very intimidating." added a voice from the far corner of the room as everyone looked toward the corner only to see Sasuke Uchiha sitting there in the darkness, slowly he stood up and moved toward the table "I have been there once on a mission for Orochimaru. Razor sharp black rocks which came straight out of the water over a hundred feet before leveling out onto to a small plain on the southern side of the island near the only place to safety land a boat. The plain is maybe a mile and a half long before going up into giant impassible mountains and all those who have entered them to expoler never came out. Most of the interior of the island is unexpoled as a result. Some say it is curse."
"You just told nothing that that I couldn't learn in a text book." added Temari
"Alright how about the fact that even Orochimaru was scared of that island." Added Sasuke as he looked at the others "Is that enough information for you?"
"And the demons used to live there?" asked Neji
"Yes, in a valley located near the center of the island." Explained Temari as she pointed to the blank spot on the map "I believe that this is our best location, it is remote, away from the other ninja nations and if this island is as impassible as Sasuke says it is a great defense. The only problem is that we have no idea what is there now, for all we know this valley they lived in is now a lake."
"We will not be going." ordered Naruto
"Naruto-kun this is our best spot at the moment." added Sakura as Naruto grinned.
"If you let me finish, we will not be going in mass right now." Finished Naruto "We need to find out what is there before we take any civilians there."
"So you are going to order a scouting mission?" asked Kakashi as Naruto nodded his head. "How long would it take us to team to get there?"
"By foot at least two weeks, you are crossing over some harsh terrain most importantly is the deserts of wind country." stated Kakashi
"You are an old man, I can get there in five days." stated Sasuke
"That is by yourself, we are going as a team." added Naruto as he looked at Sasuke with a grin "Unless you know best to set out a village and what is all needed to support the population."
Sasuke simply walked away from the comment.
"Alright, we can't disappear for two weeks any other options on getting there?" asked Naruto
"If I remember correctly there is a ferry which will take us from Tea country to Granite country in only three days." explained Neji
"Then we have our way to get there." added Naruto "Now the Daimyo should be arriving in a day or two so we will wait to see what he says and then a small team will head out to scout this place to see if we can use it. Does that sound like a plan?"
"Sound like a plan." Confirmed Sakura as the meeting came to end as slowly everyone started leaving to wherever they needed to be. "Ino I could use your help in the hospital."
"I wish I could but need to go meet with my mother." Added Ino as Sakura nodded her head.
"Do you want me to come with you?" asked Naruto knowing that meetings with families on the other side of the wall normally resulted in being kicked out of the clan.
Ino had left for a meeting with her mother but not before kissing Naruto on the cheek. As she walked down the street she suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder. The sudden contact caused the blonde hair ninja to jump a bit as she turned toward the contact only to see Hinata standing there.
"Hinata are you trying to give me a heart attack or something?" asked Ino
"No nothing like that." Expressed Hinata as the two of them started walking. "I just want to talk to you about something."
"Let me guess you want to become the third vixen to Naruto-kun?" asked Ino
"Yes." admitted Hinata as she looked at her friend "I love Naruto-kun and we belong together and while I may not get along with Sakura I am willing to deal with her to be with him."
"Listen, it isn't my call my demon has already said yes and personally I have no problem with adding another person into our three way." Expressed Ino "Hell it would mean that no one is really left out of the fun. However it is up to Naruto-kun and Sakura-chan if they want you."
"How did you win over Sakura?" asked Hinata as she seeking advice from her friend.
"I never had to win her over, I have always been friends with her." Explained Ino as they neared the main gate and the guard house where she would meet her mother. "I just had to make it romantic and I am still working on that."
"Alright, but just to confirm you yourself agree to have me join you, Naruto-kun and Sakura as your third mate." Added Hinata as Ino raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, now what is this really about?" asked Ino as Hinata simply smiled.
"I just want to make sure I am first in line?" explained Hinata
"First in line?" asked Ino as Hinata nodded her head.
"So am I?" asked Hinata
"I guess so." Confirmed Ino as Hinata walked away.
"Ok what is that all about?" asked Ino to her demon Lydia.
"No idea." Added Lydia
"Well I would bet it has to do with getting into Naruto-kun's pants." Explained Ino
"Agreed but I have no idea how she would get into our little family because she can't force Naruto or the Kyuubi to mate with her unless Sakura and Naruto agree to it." Explained Lydia "So I no idea what game she and Miki are playing however Miki is a lawyer so she knows all our laws and codes so it has to do with that."
"We will do with this later, I need to talk with my mom." expressed Ino as she moved into the meeting room located beside the main gate. When she entered the room she found her mother sitting behind a small conference table.
"Ino." cried her mother as she jumped to her feet and ran to her daughter wrapping her arms tightly around her. Holding her close. "I was so worried about you."
"I am alright Mom." explained Ino as they pulled apart "Well apart from the fact that I haven't had a decent meal or shower in a while."
"I have heard horror stories about what is going on in there." added her mother "How you live in horrible conditions."
"Conditions are horrible but that mostly because we are on our own." explained Ino "Hell we are hardly get enough food for everyone at the moment."
"I understand why, people are scared to death of you all." Explained her mother as the two sat down across from each other "Jinchūriki are seen as the cause of the war and now there are thousands of them on the other side of wall, they think another war is just around the corner."
"If they keep treating us like they are, they may be right." Admitted Ino "I am personally surprised there aren't more riots I think the only thing really stopping them is Naruto-kun."
"Naruto-kun, so it is true you Naruto and Sakura are together?" asked her mother as Ino gulped a bit.
"Personally I don't care who you sleep with or how many you are with as long as you all love each other." explained her mother "Besides when your father and I were young I had one of my friends join us every once in a while."
"Why am I not surprised." added Ino
"I just have one question for your demon." Stated her mother as Ino raised an eyebrow surprised her mom wanted to be a demon "Why wasn't I turned into a jinchūriki?"
"Mom…I know why you weren't turn. Lydia, my demon is the Daimyo of their land and her family including her mother are all dead." explained Ino as her mother leaned back a bit. "Sorry mom, I had no control over it."
"It's with your father's death and now you cut off from me I have no one." explained her mother
"Don't say that mom, you have the rest of the clan." Explained Ino as she placed her hand on top of her mothers.
"No I don't they kicked both of us out." explained her mother as Ino's heart started breaking "You for what you became and me for my refusal to disown you."
"Mom." cried Ino "Without the clan how can you support yourself?"
"Well they can't take away the flower shop your father and I started so I will be fine money wise." Explained her mother as a small little buzzer went off telling them that their time was up.
"Looks like we have to leave." expressed Ino sadly.
"Yes but before I leave I have something for you." explained her mother as she pulled out a small rose plant from her pocket, the seedling was so small it barely covered her palm. Ino's eyes widened as she realized what it was "This is from the clan's rose plant, every member of our clan gets their own plant for them to grow in their new home. Where ever you end up make sure you care for this."
"I will mom." Said Ino as she took the plant in her arms as she hugged her mother with tears in her eyes.
A couple hours later, Sasuke had headed back to the apartment he was forced to call home for the moment. He moved toward the walk-in-closet which now served as his and Karin's bedroom. He walked in only to find Karin standing by the door watching the newest addition to their group Tamaki. For a moment Sasuke studied the young woman he hadn't seen in years, she had matured even more in all the right ways.
"How is she?" asked Sasuke as he looked at toward the sleeping woman, she had cleaned up since she was brought into the camp. However her red top was still dirty and her pants where torn. Her eyes seemed to be puffy like she had been crying in her sleep.
"She keeps moving in her sleep and every once in a while she screams." explained Karin as Tamaki twisted and contorted in her sleep before letting out a scream. Reacting on instinct Sasuke moved toward Tamaki placing his hand on her shoulder. The moment he touched her, her eyes blotted opened as she sat up into a defensive stance.
"What…Sasuke-kun." Said Tamaki as she realized who had touched her. "Sorry I am jumpy."
"People don't normally scream while they are asleep." Stated Karin as Tamaki looked down with tears in her eyes "What happened to you, because a blow to your knee wouldn't cause you to scream in your sleep."
"Don't make me say." pleaded Tamaki as tears rolled down her face.
"It's alright, you can tell us." explained Sasuke in such a caring voice that it surprised even himself. Suddenly Tamaki wrapped her arms around Sasuke's neck as she put her face into his chest. She started balling into his chest.
"He forced himself on me…I couldn't stop him." Cried Tamaki in-between breaths as Sasuke's and Karin's eyes widened.
"You where rapped?" asked Sasuke as his blood began to boil with a rage he had never felt before in his life.
"No, but one of the Leaf ninjas he touched me." Cried Tamaki as Sasuke placed his hand on the back of her head holding her even closer to him "I tried to stop him but he had me restrained, he only stopped because he said he wouldn't lower himself to a demon."
"It's alright, rest now." Said Sasuke as he lowered her to the bed gently stroking her cheek "You are safe now."
"One of us will be with you at all times." Added Karin as she placed her hand ontop of Tamaki as she knelt down on the other side of her across from Sasuke.
"I just have one question." Asked Sasuke "Do you know his name?"
"Cian Yamanaka." answered Tamaki as Sasuke looked for Karin for information.
"He is Ino's cousin, next in line to run his clan." answered Karin "I met him a few times, he is a jerk but I wouldn't think he would do this."
"Don't worry Tamaki you are safe here." expressed Sasuke as he brushed her cheek "Rest now."
Tamaki slowly closed her eyes and let sleep take her knowing that Sasuke and Karin where in the room. For the longest time neither one of them spoke.
"You are going to make him pay aren't you?" asked Karin as she looked toward Sasuke.
"He will wish he was never born but I need something first." stated Sasuke as he stood up "Stay with her, I will be back as soon as I can."
Hours later Naruto walked toward the small makeshift one room apartment he shared with Sakura and Ino. He had to consider himself lucky because most people had to fit two or even three families into a similar size room. Unlike the others nights when he had gone to bed when around midnight or so, tonight however he was going to bed early.
"The Daimyo should be here tomorrow." Thought Naruto as he climbed the stairs toward the apartment"I just hope he solves this problem so we don't have to leave."
"But you know that isn't going to happen." answered Kyuubi as Naruto walked into the room. For a moment he just paused and looked at the sad state of their living conditions. A ten by ten room with no power or running water, their normal homes had been burned down and now they lived in a slum.
"We have to fix this problem." Thought Naruto as he sat down on the sleeping bag beds and begin taking off his shoes and shirt still thinking about all the problems he had to deal with ranging from food to basic sanitations. He was so focused on his thoughts that he didn't notice that he wasn't alone until she was all but on top of him.
"Sakura-chan?" asked Naruto as he looked up at Sakura who was standing in front of him. "I thought you would be in the hospital."
Mature
"I was but Ino and I both know you're stressed with everything. So Ino and I found a solution." explained Sakura as she suddenly crawled onto Naruto, her knees on either side of his hips as she pressed her body ever so slightly against his "I get you tonight and she gets you in the morning."
Naruto couldn't help but grin as he placed his hands on her but holding her close as he felt her breath on his lips. She pulled back a bit which confused Naruto until he noticed that her hands moved to her top as she pulled at a small flap at the top of her top to reveal a hidden zipper which ran down the front of her top. Naruto's eyes were locked on that zipper as Sakura slowly began to pull down that zipper as she played a strip tease with him. She stopped at the very end of her top. She grinned at him for a moment before throwing off her top to reveal the simple red bra under it all. Naruto didn't wait a moment as he moved in and kissed her on the neck earning a moan from Sakura before she suddenly jumped a bit.
"You dirty fox." Purred Sakura as she felt Naruto's hand brush against her womanhood. His hands had slipped passed her bottom without her noticing. She leaned forward before whispering into Naruto's ear. "I love it."
"I know." said Naruto as he kissed her neck before moving down toward her beasts undoing her bra as he went. Sakura moaned with each kiss as her own hands wrapped around Naruto's neck pulling him ever closer to her. Both of them knew this was just the opening moments of a long and hopefully enjoyable night.
End Mature
Darkness had once again fallen over the Leaf village as a sole figure stepped out from behind the shadows and into the dim lights located on the rooftop. Suddenly a second figure appeared on the edge of roof. Unlike the first figure who was dressed in a long black cloak, the new comer was dressed in an ANBU uniform.
"Looks like everything is going perfect." stated the female ANBU
"Yes, everything is going according to plan." stated the first figure as he pushed up his sunglasses. "You know you can take off that mask."
"Alright, Shino." Stated the ANBU as she reached up and took off her cat mask to show her white pale eyes which belonged to Hinata's younger sister Hanabi Hyuga.
"So when will you guys be leaving the village?" asked Hanabi as the two of them moved toward each other.
"Unknown, Naruto still isn't totally convinced but it shouldn't take much more." explained Shino
"I don't know what else we can do? We set up the riot and then I leaked that report the council did to you." expressed Hanabi "Hell you became Sasuke to fool them all while I gave those idiots the riot spray."
"Do not worry, your sister and Neji are already out of your clan meaning you have what you wanted." explained Shino "And I estimate that once the Daimyo arrives we will leave within a week to two weeks."
"And what if during those two weeks they find a way to remove the demons from you all? Because if Hinata or Neji come back to the clan I am fucked." stated Hanabi
"The odds of that happening is very low if not impossible." explained Shino "There is nothing to worry about we are both going to get what we want out of this arrangement."
"I am still not sure what you get out of this? You all will go on the run and be hunted down." Explained Hanabi as Shino grinned under his jacket as he pushed up his glasses for a second time.
"My motives are my own but I am doing what is best for my people while you are only helping yourself." Expressed Shino as Hanabi's eyes narrowed.
"I had no choice it had to be done." explained Hanabi as she lowered her head a bit "I am not trying to get control over the clan."
"I know but it is a nice side perk." expressed Shino "Your clan was going to marry you off to the Daimyo's grandson, you would have to leave the village everyone you know all so that your clan could gain more power. While your sister either gets Naruto or some other member of the Leaf and Neji takes control of the Hyuga clan. Now that both of them are leaving the clan will find you someone else to marry within the village allowing you to stay here and run the clan."
"It isn't just that." growled Hanabi "Have you ever meet the Daimyo's grandson?"
"I have not had the pleasure." confirmed Shino
"Well he is a spoiled rotten child who would rather play with his little army figures then do anything else." explained Hanabi as she remembered the weekend her father had forced her to spend with the man who was still a boy she was to marry. "He actually had his play soldiers on his bed and he has no real life skills. He just plays solider, gets drunk and gamble."
"He is going to be the richest man in fire country when his grandfather dies." explained Shino knowing that the Daimyo's son had died years before making the grandson next in line.
"My clan is already rich so money means nothing to me also I swear if I had to live my whole life would him I would kill him and myself." explained Hanabi
"Your motives do not matter anymore and neither does mine." explained Shino "What matter now is that our plan comes to pass and we go our separate way. Well now all we have to do is sit back and wait all the pieces are set."
"Not exactly." stated a third voice as suddenly a figure unseen by either of them stepped out of the shadows.
"Sasuke Uchiha." stated Hanabi as her eyes widened as Sasuke moved toward the two of them with his hands in his jacket pockets.
"You know, I figured Shino would need help from someone on the other side of the wall to do everything he was doing." Stated Sasuke "He knew too much, too soon. I wonder what dead last and the Hokage would think of this little alliance. However I never would have believed it to be the little sister of Hinata."
"What do you want?" asked Shino
"I want the three scrolls and my sword which were taken from me when I surrendered." stated Sasuke as he looked toward Hanabi "You should be able to get your hands on those easily enough and a copy of the service file of Cian Yamanaka."
"Cian why do you want him?" asked Hanabi confused on why an S ranked ninja like Sasuke would want the file of a middle level Jonnin who's only special trait was being next in line for his clan.
"That is my own business however I would say goodbye to him if I where you. You have one day." Stated Sasuke
"You are going to kill the next in line for one of the major clans of the village?" asked Hanabi "Why?"
"Death is too good for a rapist." stated Sasuke as he turned and started walking away disappearing into the darkness "You have one day to get my supplies."
"Well this is something unexpected." stated Hanabi as Shino placed one of his hands under his chin.
"But it may end up working in our advantage." stated Shino as he looked down at his watch checking the time. "Should be any moment now."
"Should be." explained Hanabi as both of them turned their gaze toward the large multiple floor apartment complexes which was going to house the jinichini starting tomorrow morning. Suddenly load explosion ripped each building at their base causing them to fall down one by one in a controlled explosion.
"That went just as we planned." noted Shino "This will upset the people in here and push us faster out of the village."
"Well it didn't take much for it to happen." bragged Hanabi as lights all over the village turned on as people who had been sleeping woke up. "The Hyuga clan is a partner with the owner of those buildings, I only had to ask one of the elders if the property value of those buildings would go down if demons moved in. It didn't take long for them to decide that destroying the buildings was the best answer."
"Perfect." added Shino as he turned to leave "Now I believe we should go our separate ways, we both have roles to play in our plan."
Well I hope you liked this chapter. I hope you are surprised about Shino being behind the riot along with Hanabi playing both Naruto and the council against each other. As for Sasuke let's just say I know I created an OC with Cain but I still feel somewhat him because I know what Sasuke will do to him in the story. Now until next time please keep reading.
