Chapter 19 The Night
Darkness was quickly falling over the Leaf village as a small group gathered in a small tool shed located near the eastern wall. Located in that tool shed was a small tunnel which had quickly been dug under the massive wall located less than a twenty yards away from the wall.
"So we are in agreement about our path?" asked Naruto as he looked toward Temari.
"Yes, I have already planned our best route and while it is close we should reach the boat that will take us to Granite country by morning." explained Temari as she handed a map to Naruto.
"Alright, then. I want everyone to double check that they have everything most of all money for tickets." explained Naruto
"We are good Naruto-kun." added Ino as she double check her small pack.
"Same here." stated Shikamaru as he started down the tunnel "Let's get going."
"Right behind you." added his best friend Choji as he followed by Temari entered the tunnel leaving.
"You two better get going." said Sakura as she looked at Naruto and Ino.
"Don't worry we will be back in a couple of days and hopefully have news of a new home." explained Naruto "I have left a clone of every one of us but if something happens."
"I know, I may not be as good with Shadow clones as you but I can handle making a few clones if needed." Reassured Sakura as she pulled Naruto into a deep kiss. "I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you." answered Naruto as he kissed her again ever so lightly before pulling back.
"And you piggy make sure you bring him back in one piece." Ordered Sakura as she looked at Ino.
"I will." Said Ino as she pulled her best friend into a deep kiss, as Naruto just stood back and watched with a smile on his face. As the two of them pulled back Ino spoke up again "And don't worry I will be fine too."
"Both of you come back soon." added Sakura as she stood and watched the two of them disappear down the tunnel heading out into the wilderness to find them all a new home.
Nearby Cain Yamanka's head was spinning as he tried to figure out where he was, he was clearly in some basement of some kind but it wasn't one he knew. The walls where covered with mold and water was dripping on him. He tried to move only to find his arms and legs where restrained with thick chains.
"Where the fuck am I?" asked the hung over Cain
"So your finally awake." Stated a voice from the darkness as suddenly his chained arms which were in front of him where jacked up higher and higher until the 5'9 young man was stretched as far as he could go.
"Who the fuck are you?" yelled Cain at the top of his lungs "And why are you doing this?"
"You violated a woman a few days ago do you remember that?" asked the voice as a dark figure appeared in the corner of his eye, he couldn't tell who it was but it was a male.
"So you're that demon whore's man or something?" laughed Cain as the figure nodded his head in the shadow. "Well too bad you have a demon for a girlfriend, now if you let me go I will make your death quick."
"Really? You think you can kill me?" stated the man in a clam cool voice.
"Do you know who I am? I am a Yamanaka one of the most powerful clans in the village." laughed Cain with a cocky smile on his face which disappeared as the figure stepped into the light. His eyes widened as his blood to turn to ice as fear griped his heart. As he looked into the dark silted eyes of the last Uchiha and one of the most deadly ninjas in the world.
"And I am a Uchiha." stated Sasuke as he activated his sharingan as he pulled his snake sword and put it at Cain's throat "And you violated one of my vixens, you haunt her nightmares, you are a rapist."
"Are….you going to kill me?" strutted Cain as the once cocky 19 year old was gripped with fear.
"Kill you….no not at the moment at least, that would be too good for you." Explained Sasuke as he put his sword away before pulling out a kunai as slashing Cain across the cheek just enough to draw blood.
"You son of a bitch!" yelled Cain as a stinging sensation radiated from the cut "Is that your plan death by a thousand cuts?"
"No." stated Sasuke as he put the kunai away ever so carefully "See that kunai was covered with the venom of the Silver Surf Snake."
"Never heard of it." Stated Cain
"Most haven't it is a rare snake but an interesting one none the less. See this little water snake has a very unique way of hunting. See they bit their prey before swimming away." Explained Sasuke "The venom causes a huge amount of pain and agony that it wears their pray out leaving them open to be eaten alive later. It was Orochimaru's favorite pet."
Cain's eyes widened as Sasuke grinned as Cain began to feel the pain from the venom.
"Normally I don't enjoy doing this to people, I find it easier just to kill them and get it over with but for you I will make an exception." Stated Sasuke as he turned and pulled out a small clock before setting it down in front of Cain "It shouldn't take more than five minutes for waves of bake breaking pain to rack your body and last until timer goes off in four hours. So I will see you then."
"You son of a bitch!" yelled Cain
"Also don't bother screaming I put sound canceling seals on the walls no one will hear you." Explained Sasuke as he walked out the door closing it behind him turning off the lights as he went so the only light came from the red glow of the digital clock as he began counting down.
Standing outside the door was Karin which caused Sasuke to stop and look at her slightly confused.
"I thought you were with Tamaki?" asked Sasuke as he looked at his other vixen.
"I am this is just a clone." Explained Karin "Did you use the silver surf snake venom thing on him?"
"I hope you are correct that he will not figure out that there is no such thing as a Silver Surf Snake." stated Sasuke
"The odds of that is very low, when I was in charge of finding integration technical for Ocochimaru 9.5 out of 10 people believed they were poison and created their own pain inside their minds." explained Karin as she took a deep breath "Are you sure you want to do it his way?"
"Yes it may be the only way, see you soon." answered Sasuke as Karin's clone disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Elsewhere in the Leaf village the Daimyo of the land of fire was sitting in a private lounge room of the most upscale gentlemen Cigar clubs in the Leaf village. In one of his hands was a glass of fine cognac and in the other was an even finer cigar.
"You know I really love this place, most of all those beautiful red wood panels." Stated the Daimyo as he took a drink "I have to add that to one of my houses when I remodel it."
"We can find out what type of wood it is Lord Daimyo." Offered up Homura as he took a drink of his own cognac as the two of them sat in red velvet lounge chairs with a dark hardwood oak table in between the two of them.
"I would like that." Confirmed the Daimyo "You know I was worried that the jinchūrikiwould try something tonight but all seams good."
"So was I, however you have to remember while they did get a lot of upper level ninjas they do not have much of a military strength and most don't know any ninja skills." explained Homura "And thanks to your new laws they will never learn."
"The Hokage didn't seem please at the news." stated the Daimyo "And I don't blame her she is very close to Naruto Namikaze and some of the others."
"In some ways she treats him like a grandson of sorts." Explained Homura as he put down his drink "I think we should consider having her step down."
"Do you think that is a wise move?" asked the Daimyo as he put his cigar into the crystal tray.
"Yes, sir." Answered Homura "She is getting too old for the job and she herself said she was planning to step down within a year. True she was planning to hand that position over to Naruto Namikaze but that can't happen now."
"Yes, I must admit I felt sorry to do that to him after he saved my granddaughter years ago but it is for the best jinchūrikican't be trusted now." explained the Daimyo "According to our expert the jinchūriki one ruled this world before humans and they will want it back, we have to prevent that from happening."
"I totally understand." added Homura "However I am worried that one of the other ninja nations will violate your laws, just like I am worried that our Hokage will do the same and doom our village."
"Yes, I could see your worry about the other nation but if that happens their local Daimyo will take away all their land rights and contracts destroying that village." Explained the Daimyo "As for the Hokage I as the Daimyo can't remove the Hokage only your council can do that."
"True but if the council votes to remove the Hokage we need someone to fill her spot and you have final say on that." Explained Homura knowing that the council wouldn't remove a Hokage without an already agreed upon replacement "Someone who can be seen as kind to the jinchūriki but isn't as close to them as Lady Tsunade."
'Why would that matter?" asked the Daimyo
"We don't want another riot on our hands or an open riot like in lightening country. If we treat the jinchūriki too bad they will riot again and again." Explained Homura "We need someone who seams in the middle."
"How about that Mighty Guy or Lee, I heard they are great fighters." Offered up the Daimyo as Homura pulled back a bit.
"Can you imagine one of those two as Kage, even if they weren't as close to the demons the council wouldn't vote for them? No, we need someone who the council will vote for and most of all who the Hyuga clan will vote for." explained Homura as the Daimyo raised an eyebrow "Hiashi Hyuuga has his oldest daughter and his beloved nephew as demons and as clan leader he has the vote on the village council and can't be overruled by the rest of his clan."
"I have a feeling you have a name in mind so why don't you just tell me." ordered the Daimyo
"While she is very young she is very skilled ANBU captain and she fits everything else perfectly." Explained Homura "Hanabi Hyuga."
"Hanabi she is supposed to marry my grandson she can't be Hokage if she is married to the future Daimyo." stated the Daimyo "The Hyuga clan and I have a verbal agreement."
"That will not happen with the loss of Hinata and Neji, Hanabi is the head of the clan they will not send her away from the Leaf even to you." explained Homura
"I see maybe that is why Hiashi asked to speak with me in the morning. No matter I will find someone else for my grandson." stated the Daimyo as he finished his drink before standing up. "It has been good talking to you old friend and I will take your council to heart, now if you excuses me my bed is calling me."
"I thank you for your time Lord Daimyo and sleep well in the knowledge that none of those demons will escape the village." added Homura as he stood up unaware that outside the walls of the Leaf village Naruto and his small team had emerged from the exit of the hidden and had already started running toward Tea country and the ship that would carry them to Granite country. "Sleep well."
"I will." resounded the Daimyo as he disappeared down a large staircase before heading out of the door.
Four hours later it was just after two in the morning as Sasuke Uchiha opened the door only to find Cain Yamanaka still hanging in the center of the room, his cloths had become soaked with sweat as he tried to speak only to come out in a low whisper from becoming horse form hours of screaming in pain that was only in his mind.
"Please let me go." pleaded Cain as he looked toward Sasuke with fear in his eyes.
"Oh…I wouldn't let you go and in fact I would cause you so much pain that you would beg me for death." explained Sasuke as he walked toward Cain.
"Please I have a girlfriend." pleaded Cain
"You have a girlfriend and you violated another woman?" asked Sasuke as Cain nodded his head "Well that doesn't matter to me and in fact while you have wronged me in so many ways by harming my Tamaki-chan, in the end you need to answer to one person and one person only and that isn't me."
With that Sasuke stepped aside allowing Cain to see Tamaki standing in the doorway. Slowly she walked forward until she stood in front of the man who had almost raped her.
"Your fate is in her hands." explained Sasuke as he handed a kunai to Tamaki before looking her in the eyes "Whatever you decide is your choice I can make this seem like nothing more than a nightmare to him or I can get rid of the body. Your choice."
"Please…" pleaded Cain as he looked at the woman who was crying as she held the kunai in her hands. "Please spare my life."
Mature
For the longest time no one said anything as Tamaki held the kunai, finally the hotheaded nature in Cain built up as he looked at the woman who was the cause of his pain cry before.
"Oh make up your fucking mind you demon whore!" yelled Cain as Tamaki's eyes flashed with anger as Cain instantly realized his mistake.
"I am not a whore, I am woman and Sasuke-kun's mate!" yelled Tamaki as she stabbed Cain, however instead of stabbing him in the chest the kunai struck him in the manhood. Even Sasuke turned away as Tamaki grabbed his manhood and ripped it off. "And now your one too!"
End Mature
Tamaki slowly back away with tears in her eyes as she realized what she had just done as she dropped the kunai. As she put her hands around her mouth as she tried not to scream as Sasuke pulled her to himself holding her close in his arms.
"You did what you believed is right." reassured Sasuke
"Right…you…." Started Cain as he slowly lost conscious from blood lose.
"Come on let's get you back to the room and hopefully some sleep." Offered up Sasuke as he suddenly felt Tamaki's head brush under his chin a bit.
"Thank you Sasuke-kun….I need that." said Tamaki "Maybe instead of sleeping, the three of us can do something else."
"She just de manned someone and now she wants to have sex?" thought Sasuke as it turned him on knowing that she had that hard killing instinct in her "She is perfect."
"Sure, whatever you and Karin-chan want." answered Sasuke as he lead her out of the room before looking at Karin who had been standing by the doorway watching everything
"He should be died by now but I could go cut his throat to make sure." explained Karin as she moved to the other side of Sasuke as he moved one of his arms away from Tamaki and wrapped it around Karin.
"And she wants to finish the job." though Sasuke as he smiled at her.
"Now you see why I like my mates so much." answered Katsu inside Sasuke's head.
"No, let's leave him and clean up in the morning." explained Sasuke as the three of them walked out of the room.
Hours later the sun was poking over the horizon as Hanabi Hyuga moved toward one of the major guard positions located at the far corner of the ghetto. She entered the command center only to have the guard she was supposed to replace rush out the door.
"What is up with her?" asked Hanabi to the other guard
"He said he is having breakfast with his girlfriend and was late last time so I imagine he doesn't want to be late." explained the other guard as he yawned a bit.
"Late night?" asked Hanabi
"Don't know I am just so sleepy." explained the guard as he stood up "Now if you excuses me."
With that he stood up and headed toward the bathroom located at the far end of the room. Hanabi turned and started reading over the reports from the night before, there wasn't much a few mud balls thrown at the wall and a few drunks being spotted in the streets.
"Good morning Hanabi." Stated a voice as Hanabi jumped back only to see Shino standing before her.
"What the hell are you doing? You will be discovered and we are both screwed." Whispered Hanabi
"Do not worry I slipped your fellow guard a sleeping powder and a laxative, he is currently sound asleep on the toilet and once we have finished you can wake him and it is nothing more than a guard who fell asleep early in the morning." explained Shino
"Fine what do you want?" asked Hanabi
"I wanted to inform you that we have already started planning our withdraw from the village." explained Shino
"Good any idea when you will leave?" asked Hanabi as Shino quickly did the math in his head of the time needed for Naruto's group to reach the island and get back "About ten days or so."
"Good." Added Hanabi "Is that all?"
"No….last night I had a bug listening in on the Daimyo it seems they are going to replace Lady Tsunade." explained Shino as Hanabi shrugged.
"Figures she is too close to too many people who are demons." Stated Hanabi as Shino seamed to glare at him through his sunglasses. "Deal with it."
"Very well, however the frontrunner for the replacement is you." stated Shino as Hanabi's eyes widened.
"What?"
"You are the front runner." restated Shino
"It doesn't make sense…I can't be Kage, I am not the strongest ninja in the village." stated Hanabi
"It makes logical sense, you are young enough to be controlled by the Council and you have a sister and a cousin who are as you put it demons so you would be seen as kind by us." explained Shino
"I see." said Hanabi
"But that isn't all I came here for, I need you to fake some reports and say that someone spotted Cain Yamamaka walking out of a bar." started Shino knowing that Lady Tsuande had started a policy of recording whenever a ninja was spotted highly drunk, the irony wasn't lost on everyone that Tsunade had started that.
"Already done." Reported Hanabi "I changed a report from a few nights ago when Cain was spotted coming out of a bar with a woman, who wasn't his girlfriend."
"I am impressed." stated Shino
"I do have a brain, however what I still don't understand is what you get out of having your people go on the run." stated Hanabi as she put her hands on her hips "I don't see how this helps strengthen your position either as a group or you by yourself. It doesn't make sense."
"You don't see it don't you?" laughed Shino as he turned to leave "I get nothing but I save my people from your people if we stay here we are going to die, out there we have a chance. As for myself I get nothing."
"Nothing?" asked Hanabi
"I am not out for my personal power or glory I want to save my people nothing more." explained Shino as he disappeared from view.
Meanwhile the same sun was rising over the ocean as Naruto and the others walked into the sea side resort town of Cimerlik. The city was well known across the world as a major resort town with picture perfect white sand beaches and clear blue waters. Dozens of cruise ships used it to pick up tourist from Fire Country before taking them all over the world for vacations.
"Well no one seems to have noticed our eyes yet." Stated Ino as she looked at the shop owners who were opening up as she and Naruto and Choji stood by one of the doors.
"It is still early." Added Naruto as he looked around at all the people, already a coffee shop was open and the other stores where not far behind. A few minutes later Temari and Shikamaru returned.
"Well I have some good news and some bad news." Explained Shikamaru
"What is it?" asked Naruto
"Good news, we have the tickets for the ship but the ship was late getting into port due to weather so they aren't leaving for another hour." explained Temari as she held up five tickets handing one to the others. "
"A minor setback, in fact it will give us time for some shopping." added Ino as everyone looked at her "It isn't just because I like shopping but we are supposed to be pretending to be a vacation aren't we? And we don't really look like tourist."
"She has a point." admitted Shikamaru "And this is a small cruise ship we are going to be on?"
"It's a cruise ship?" asked Naruto "I was expecting a cargo ship or something like that considering they are going to the poorest nation on earth."
"Well this cruise company specializes in visits to unusual places and the death island is one of those." Explained Shikamaru as he handed the tickets out "We got middle class, Naruto and Ino have a room together and so does Temari and myself. Choji you have a room to yourself."
"Oh well….it's an all you can eat buffet right?" asked Choji as Shikamaru nodded his head.
"Alright let's go shopping, we have half an hour before the ship starts boarding." stated Naruto
"Perfect and I know where to start." said Ino as she led everyone toward a street vender who was selling sunglasses. Instantly she picked out a pair and put it on.
"Oh…and here I thought we would be going to someplace else first." admitted Naruto as he looked at the swimsuit shop down the road.
"Oh…we will be going into there soon enough and you aren't going to see what I get." Laughed Ino as she put her finger on Naruto's nose "I plan to surprise you and since I do see a lingerie store around here a swimsuit will have to do because for the next couple of days you are all mine."
"Well you do know I am known for my surprises maybe I'll surprise you." flirted Naruto back.
Well I hope you liked this chapter and how the story is coming along including what Sasuke did. I know some people have been wondering what Shino's goals where and I hope I explained it well enough.
