Chapter 29 Reunions and Discussions

Naruto didn't even wait for the ship's gangplank to be lowered before jumping off the deck landing on the edge of the dock in front of everyone who had made it out of the Leaf village. He instantly moved toward Sakura who just stood there with a smile on her face.

"Couldn't have waited the boat to stop moving?" laughed Sakura

"You know me." resounded Naruto "Also I think it's called a ship not a boat."

"Whatever." answered Sakura as she looked at the rust covered haul of the massive cargo ship which stood in front of her and others. The other four ships were also pulling in to the empty harbor "I never thought I would be so happy to see such a rusty piece of shit."

"Well it isn't much but it is sea worthy and she will take us where we need to go." added Naruto as the gangplanks came down as people started rushing onboard the plan was to get out of port and out of sight of land by sunrise in a few hours. Per Naruto's orders the crew members on each ship had set up a series of cots in the hold of each ship and had multiple hot meals ready for everyone.

"How long do you think it will take to get everyone onboard?" asked Sakura as she looked at the people moving on board. They had arrived at the docks early enough to quickly split up into five groups each with a handful of ninjas onboard for protection.

"Shouldn't be long." added Naruto as he put his arms around Sakura's shoulder as the two of them started walking up the gangplank. "They know how important it is to get out of port, I just hope we don't leave anyone behind."

"I have ordered Neji and Hinata to scan the port before we leave so that we don't leave people behind. Also Shino has his bugs providing an outer perimeter." explained Sakura as she enjoyed the feeling of having Naruto's arm around her. Suddenly movement from the large pack which hung from a strap on her hip caused Naruto to jump away.

"What was that?" asked Naruto as he looked toward the pack as a white feline face poked out of the bag.

"Ino's cat, Isis." explained Sakura as both of them looked at the pure white feline which using Sakura's bag as a mobile home "I may dislike the little monster but I couldn't leave her behind, Ino would kill me she loves cats."

"I am not a cat fan either none of them ever seem to like me much." added Naruto as he reached down and scathed behind Isis's ear earning only to get swat at by the feline earning a small laugh from Sakura. "But I can deal with it."

Elsewhere under the set of massive flood lights work had already begun on the new village for regular humans of the Land of Granite. Teams of men and women were digging away with a mixture of old heavy powered equipment and hand shovels. They were busy removing the top layer of earth so that it was easy to place unities such as power and water. Watching over it all from a raised platform was Ino, standing beside her was her teammate Shikamaru. He had come over from the island where he was looking over the construction of the demon village.

"So what do you think of the plans?" asked Ino as Shikamaru studied the city plan that was created only days ago.

"Overall this is a very impressive plan. I mean I would change a few things but it is mostly the placement of minor things." reported Shikamaru "I also love the idea of using the tide to generate power, under the water it would be next to impossible to reach without us knowing about it."

"That is what I thought, I still wanted to talk it over with someone before I ordered them." Confirmed Ino "However there are two things I want to talk to you about?"

"What?" inquired Shikamaru as he looked at the woman he considered the sister he never had. The two of them along with Choji has been raised together and more than once both of them had heard there parents joke about the two of them ending up together as husband and wife but it was clear early on that they were like siblings.

"I remember Naruto-kun saying that the rocks that make up the cliffs repel chakra how does it do that?" asked Ino as Shikamaru raised an eyebrow as he wondered where she was going.

"It has something to do the molecular structure of the rock itself, you could throw one of Naruto's Rasenshuriken into it and it would just bounce back at you. Why do you ask?" inquired Shikamaru as he took a drink of ice water which had been sitting out for a while.

"What do you think about lining the walls of the city with the rock?" asked Ino "It would provide some help defending the village."

"In general not a bad idea however the problem is the volcanic rock breaks apart easily when physically hit, so say if Sakura punched the wall it would shatter like glass. Chakra attacks bounce off it but not a physical hit." explained Shikamaru as Ino shock her head a bit in frustration "It isn't a bad idea if only we had a ton of Scandium then we could make walls out of Aldhard. Now that would be an almost invincible wall."

"What?" asked Ino

"If you combine that rare element with the rock we have you have the mixture for making Aldhard." explained Shikamaru as Ino raised an eyebrow "Aldhard is substance which is pound for pound a 1,000 times stronger than steal and it repels chakra attacks on top of the fact that you can dip strings of fabric and make body armor."

"Why don't we use us it?" asked Ino

"Because a pound of Scandium is worth about 37 pounds of gold and the only known supply is in the land of Iron and even that it is very small supply." explained Shikamaru as Ino nodded her head.

"Alright then we will use the tones of stones we do have." Confirmed Ino "As for the second thing I was thinking about who to use for a bridge builder. I remember one of the first mission team seven had was guarding a bridge builder maybe we can use the same person."

"Maybe but I would wait to see the skill set of everyone who arrives from the other nations first." advised Shikamaru as Ino nodded her head.

"Of course your right." Confirmed Ino as suddenly a large amount of clapping filled the air causing both of them to turn toward the sound.

"They just lied the first pipe in the sewer system." laughed Shikamaru "Not something you normally clap about."

"It's the first piece of a new village." Counted Ino

Back at the Leaf village Hanabi Hyuga stood before the empty Hokage's desk, for a moment she just stood there looking at the empty chair, behind the chair was the skyline of the village she was now responsible for. The lights of the city where bright against the moonless autumn sky.

"This is a huge duty you are taking on daughter." Said a voice behind her as she turned to see her father standing in the doorway. "You are filling big shoes and you aren't the person people were expecting to take over those shoes."

"Don't worry I will not let the clan down." stated Hanabi

"The clan isn't who you have to be worried about now, it is the village." Countered Hiashi as his 19 year old daughter turned Hokage nodded her head before moving around the desk and taking a seat in the Hokage's chair for the first time "But the clan can provide advice and insight."

"Thanks Father." Laughed Hanabi

"No problem Lady Hokage." Said Hiashi

"Consider this an order from your Hokage when we are not involved in official Hokage business you don't have to use titles." Ordered Hanabi knowing full well that her father wasn't likely going to follow that order but she had to try.

"I understand Lady Hokage but I am here on official business as well as personal." explained Hiashi as he walked forward unrolling a map of Fire Country onto her new desk. The map and multiple lines drawn out on it all radiating out from the village "We have sent tracking teams out radiating out in all directions from the Leaf but the further out they go the more distance there is between the search teams and they have Neji and your sister so they know the limits of the Byakugan."

"And they have Kiba the best tracker we had so he would know how to hid his tracks." Add Hanabi "Then there is the fact that whenever we do find them we will have to deal with Naruto and Sasuke fighting side by side."

"One thing at a time we need to find them." Explained Hiashi "Now we have a lead, see one of our look out chunin was killed here on the Budon road but the intelligence branch believe this to be a fake marker left by the demons to lead us down the wrong path since heading South would just lead them into the sea with nowhere to go."

"Agreed they would need ships waiting for them but just in case I want a team to head to the ports see there is any stolen ships." ordered Hanabi

"Very well, we recommend redeploying our search teams to the North West since hiding in the mountains would be there best bet." Said Hiashi as Hanabi leaned back a bit in her new chair.

"Tell me what is the current situation in the Land of Lightening?" asked Hanabi

"Officially the new Raikage is putting down a small terrorist group but in reality it is a full scale civil war between those who refuse to see a Raikage who killed the former Raikage as a ruler and those who are still loyal to the A are fighting back." Reported Hiashi as Hanabi just sat there taking in all the information her father was giving her "Add to that the six other non-ninja villages who had rebelled against the Kumogakure in the past have taken the chance to declare their own independence."

"Sounds to me like the perfect place for 7,000 demons to go and have a chance to rise to power." added Hanabi "Now we will send a bulk of our forces to the North West checking the mountains but I want scout teams to enter the land of lightening to search for any signs of the missing demons."

"Is that wise, we would be putting our people into the middle of a civil war." Advised Hiashi "That is putting them in harms way."

"We a ninjas going into harm's way is what we are paid for." Rebutted Hanabi as Hiashi nodded his head.

"As you wish Lady Hokage."

For the past few hours the two of them had been rushing around doing their best to get everyone situated and making sure that the children and their parents alike understood that it was going on. After multiple hours of loading everyone and getting some hot food Naruto and Sakura finally had some time to themselves as they stood on the highest deck of the ship looking out over the stern at the disappearing shoreline of the land of fire. To the sun was rising in the east but both of them where dead tired. Sakura from spending multiple days on the run and Naruto from simply worrying about her and everyone else.

"This just feels so good." Said Sakura as she felt the warm sunrise on her face as she smelled the salty sea air.

"I am just happy you all made it here safe and sound." said Naruto as he looked at Sakura, her eyes where closed as the early morning sunlight struck her face causing her face to glow.

"So beautiful." Thought Naruto

"So we have three days correct?" asked Sakura

"Three days, we should be in the Land of Granite around sunrise Monday." Answered Naruto

"So did you and Ino enjoy your time alone?" inquired Sakura as Naruto paused for a moment before deciding that the truth was the best answer.

"Yes, we did." Confirmed Naruto "And told Ino-chan that you and I would enjoy some special time alone."

Sakura smiled as different ideas came to mind but days of stress and running had worn her down.

"I am just to tired right now but once I rest up I will show you what my medical training has taught me about the human body." grinned Sakura as Naruto put his hand on her hip pulling her closer to him. For a moment Sakura and Naruto just enjoyed the moment together as Sakura rested her head on his shoulder.

"Naruto-kun I need to ask you something, how do you feel about Hinata?" inquired Sakura as Naruto blinked before turning his gaze to her.

"Ok…why?" asked Naruto confused about what was going on as Sakura looked down at the turning ocean water caused by the propellers.

"Hinata told me about some law that Ino's demon grandfather put in place requiring whoever is the Daimyo to have three mates to increase the chances of a new generation." explained Sakura "If the daimyo doesn't have three mates they lose all rights to rule."

"Ok, but Ino is Daimyo so wouldn't the spirit of the law mean she has to have three male mates to increase the chances of her getting pregnant." Explained Naruto

"The law doesn't read that way only that the Daimyo has to have three mates and Ino has you and me so she needs another." explained Sakura "And then Hinata went and told me that if she isn't welcomed in she would use this law to get into the group and since Ino's demon already told Hinata's demon that she could join us she is legally next in line."

"I see…" said Naruto "And what do you think?"

"Personally she stalked you for the longest time so she is on my bad side but she did have the curtsey to tell me about this law instead of just using it flat out." Admitted Sakura as she took a breath "And since the law doesn't go into effect until Ino's 23rd birthday we have time to talk about it. So the question is how do you feel about Hinata? Ino has all but said yes already."

"Honestly?" asked Naruto as he looked into Sakura's green eyes.

"The other way doesn't help me." answered Sakura

"Truthfully I don't know her that well, I mean we are friends we are all but I probably know her only a little better then Shino and that isn't well." explained Naruto as he looked out to sea "I mean during the battle with Pain she threw herself in front of him to save me but after it all whenever I went to talk to her about it she couldn't look me in the eyes so I assumed she didn't want to talk about it. So I dropped it. Besides we will so busy with the war starting and then I went to train with Killer B so I didn't have time to really focus on what happened."

"She didn't want to talk about it because she used to have a habit of passing out whenever you talked to her but she had a crush on you almost as long as you had on me." Explained Sakura as Naruto blinked at the news.

"What? She had a crush on me back when I was no one?" asked Naruto knowing that before he became a ninja he was at the bottom of the social ladder and Hinata was next in line to take over the most powerful clan in the village. There was no social reason why she would want to be with him, she had everything money and power and until he became a war hero it was revealed that he was the son of the 4th Hokage most people looked down on him.

"Yes, I am surprised you didn't know that." Laughed Sakura "But then again you were never that good on telling that sort of thing. But what of Hinata now?"

Naruto looked down for a moment as he thought for a moment.

"I will not lie I do find Hinata physically attractive and I have had dreams about her a few times in the past." admitted Naruto as Sakura kept looking at him hoping that wasn't the end of the conversation "But there is more to being in love with someone then just being physically attractive to a person, if love is just physically then once physical looks fade you have nothing, it is also spiritual and I feel I have a bond like that with you and Ino-chan."

"I feel the same and just to make feel better I have had dreams in the past about other guys." admitted Sakura "And Ino dated Sai so there has to have been some physical attraction there as well. So you only have a physical attraction to Hinata."

"Yes but I admit I don't know her that well and what I do know about her isn't that apply to me." Explained Naruto "You and Ino are both how I should say dominate."

"I remember you being on top more than a few times." Laughed Sakura as Naruto joined her.

"Yes but you are both your own person and make decisions for yourself and while Hinata will make small choices I noticed how she always seems to defer her choices to someone else." Explained Naruto "I don't want to be dominate all the time and I want other people making choices for themselves."

"You love strong women and Hinata doesn't fit that as far as you know here." Confirmed Sakura as Naruto nodded his head "The problem is Hinata is next in line and since her demon is a lawyer she knows the laws."

"Maybe there is a way to make everyone happy." offered up Naruto as Sakura raised an eyebrow wondering where one of her blonde mates was going with this "Question how well do you know Hinata yourself?"

"Not that well, we were in different units in the war and by then I started falling for you and she became my rival so I didn't want to know her that well." Explained Sakura "Ino had multiple missions with her during the war so she would know her better."

"Well maybe we should give her a chance." offered Naruto "Go out on a few dates and see where it goes from there maybe she will surprise us."

"You want to date her?" asked Sakura

"Not me, we all three of us." explained Naruto

"That way we all learn about each other." added Sakura as Naruto nodded his head.

"And if it doesn't work Hinata will realize it doesn't work and move on allowing us to move on." thought Sakura before yawning a bit.

"Come on let's get some sleep, we have the Capitan's cabin." explained Naruto as he led Sakura inside "It isn't that nice but it is private."

"I don't care." responded a tired Sakura as she placed her face into Naruto's chest as they moved inside to get some sleep.

The a midafternoon thunderstorm wasn't a welcome sight to the people working on building the new villages in the land of Granite since it turned the freshly overturned ground into mud preventing any work. The storm wasn't without some benefits as the rain water began to run into six large openings which had been quickly cut into the bedrock. The openings where giant rain water storage containers similar to ones used in the Sunagakure to sublimate the limited ground water supply. The water storage had been made at a record rate using the same skills and tools that the workers used in the mines.

"Well water shouldn't be a problem when this is all over." Stated Ino as she stood on the wrap around pouch of the Daimyo estate however she wasn't alone. Several workers had taken refuge from the lightening in the house, so many so that they filled the pouch.

"No Lady Daimyo we had just finished putting the last stone liner in when the rain started and this is only a backup supply for the wells." confirmed a worker who was covered with mud some of which had found its way into his thick bread.

"You guys are sure working fast and I thank you for it." said Ino

"Ma'am before you started this building project we had nothing to really look forward to and while we are still hungry and dirty you have given us hope." Explained the man as Ino smiled "The old Daimyo would have forced us to walk home in the rain and lightning instead you welcome us in."

"Well no offense but you are aren't staying the night, not enough beds." laughed Ino as the man smiled as another man rushed forward.

"Lady Daimyo message for you." reported the man as he handed Ino a piece of paper.

"To the Daimyo of the Land of Granite you are required to join in a conference call with all the other Daimyos to take place in two hours." Read Ino as her eyes focus on the fact that the conference call meant a video conference call so people would see her. She had spent a few hours walking around the massive house and she had found the broadcast room in the basement.

"Thank you." said Ino as she took a deep breath "I better get ready."

Ino took her time as she dressed in the best cloths she had, luckily one of the few outfits she that a beautiful kimono which her mother had been keeping at her home so it had hadn't been destroyed when her apartment was attacked. The Kimono had a robin egg blue bottom with a white top and most importantly a large hat and hand fan which would be key in covering her silted demon eyes.

"Lady Daimyo we are ready." reported one of the workers she had conscripted into manning the cameras for her video conference with the other daimyos from around the world.

"Here we go." thought Ino as she moved out into the broadcast room. The room was in reality a small wooden floor room with a large seal on the back wall. One entire wall was filled with nothing but TV screens five of them where noticeable larger than the others. Under the screens were labels with each nation name and below them was the camera and microphone.

"Three…two…one." said a voice in the background as Ino raised her hand fan and lowered her hat to hide her eyes. The rooms became a shade darker as the multiple TV screens began to turn on as the faces of mostly old man appeared. A few of the minor daimyo where younger man but Ino was the only women and by far the youngest one.

"I welcome all Daimyos to this conference." Greeted the Earth Daimyo "We are here to discuss the situation with the demons."

"Wait a second, Lord Earth Daimyo it would seem that the Daimyo of the Land of Granite isn't with us." stated the Water Daimyo

"Who cares about that Daimyo?" snared the Earth Daimyo before he noticed who was sitting in the place of the Daimyo.

"Well considering instead his woman is there I care." stated the Water Daimyo

"You woman, where is the Daimyo of the Land of Granite this is only for him." reported the Earth Daimyo as Ino fanned herself a bit knowing that this was a boy's club so she had to play to it so she stayed calm at the sexiest wording of the Earth Daimyo.

"I thank you for noticing me Lord Water Daimyo but I am not the woman of the Daimyo, I am the New Daimyo of the Land of Granite." reported Ino as she put on her womanly charm as the eyebrows of the other daimyo's visually went up at the idea of a female Daimyo. "My group bought the land from the old Daimyo so I am the new Daimyo."

"I see." said the Fire Daimyo "So what shall we call you? Since Lord Daimyo is out of the Question."

"Why not keep it simple just call me Lady Daimyo or just Daimyo of the Land of Granite, my Lords and pay me no mind." Answered Ino as most of the other Daimyo's nodded their heads "The only thing I have to say is that all the money owned by the former Daimyo is still his and was put into the price of this nation so if you seek payment for anything see him he is heading North as we speak."

"Very well." Responded the Fire Daimyo "Now first order of business is that that the Leaf village has appointed a New Hokage after the failure of the Lady Tsunade to restrain the demon threat."

"Who is the new Hokage?" inquired the Daimyo of the Land of Grass

"Hanabi Hyuga a skilled ninja from the Hyuga clan and she is dedicated to locating and capturing the demons that have escaped from the village." Responded the Fire Daimyo as Ino's eyes widened at the news but she kept fanning herself all the while not saying a word.

"Yes the demons have been troublesome in every nation, we have lost the demons in my nation as well." Reported the Lightening Daimyo

"Same here." Added the Earth Daimyo "Only the Land of Wind and Water have contained their demons."

"But they has only just over 3,000 demons between the two nations." Said the Fire Daimyo "It is easy for them to hold them, we have over 7,000 in our nation."

"We placed our demons on the Tumss Island which is only reachable by a boat." Explained the Water Daimyo as Ino quickly wrote the name of the island down on a small notebook located by her side "They can't go anywhere without a boat."

"Maybe we should just give them their own nation and be done with it." offered up a minor Daimyo from the land of Tea.

"We will never allow the demons to have a nation of their own it is a risk for all of humanity since our expert has informed us that these demons once ruled this world and they want it back." reported the Water Daimyo "If anything we have to visit the idea of killing the demons outright."

"In theory it isn't that bad of an idea but the problem is it is very hard to get even the most hard core ninja to execute thousands of people mostly women and children." pointed out the Wind Daimyo "Add to that that some of these people are family and friends makes that impossible."

"Poison?" inquired another daimyo

"Demons are immune to all but the strongest poisons and how would we use it?" asked the Water Daimyo

"That doesn't matter right now, instead we need to focus on finding them first. All daimyo should order a look out for demons crossing the border and help each other bring them in." stated the Earth Daimyo

"Agreed but any idea where they are at?" inquired Ino as she went digging for information.

"Yes, do we have an idea?" asked another minor Daimyo followed by three more.

"Yes our current belief is that are heading either North into one of the countless valleys located in Earth Country or they are heading into the confusing situation in the land of Lightening." Explained the Fire Daimyo "The good news is that are few with very limited resources they can't hide from us forever and when we find them we will remove the threat to humanity."

"Good now everyone send orders out to your aids to keep an eye out for demons and report any sign of demons. Remember they have silted eyes." ordered the Earth Daimyo "With that this meeting is over."

With that all the screens went black as the red light on the camera went off.

"All the cameras and microphone are off?" asked Ino as the worker nodded his head.

"Yes Lady Daimyo." confirmed the worker "Are you and the people coming here these demons?"

"Yes." Confirmed Ino feeling no reason to lie since he could see her silted blue eyes "Is that a problem."

"From what I have seen you are not a demon and those Northern Nations have always been cocky jerks to us." stated worker "You are helping us and those Northern can go screw themselves."

Ino couldn't help but laugh at the worker's words.

"Thanks." said Ino with a smile as she wondered if he would say the same thing if he knew that whenever the world found them and they would in time war would come to the Land of Granite.

The movement of the ship which had rocked Sakura Haruno to sleep was still moving and rolling with the ocean waves as she opened her eyes and lifted her head of Naruto's shirtless chest. The room around them was far from good with metal walls painted white. The paint was so old that it had started to flake off the rusting metal walls. The room had almost nothing in it apart from a large metal desk and a bed both of which were bolted to the deck. It was the sort of place which Sakura would normally have never stay at but she had no choice. Slowly she turned her gaze away from the room and to the man sleeping beside her, his blonde hair framed his face as he smiled in his sleep. She could feel one of his hands on her hip while the other rested on his stomach.

"Would it be a crime to wake him?" thought Sakura as she looked down at the sleeping Naruto

"it would be a crime if we didn't wake him considering what we want to do." stated Aella with a grin of her own as Sakura leaned forward placing her lips right up against Naruto's ear.

Mature Warning skip if you want

"Naruto…kun." Purred Sakura as her hand ran down Naruto's chest across his tone muscles before finally coming to rest at on top of his manhood. Naruto moved a bit but his eyes remained close as Sakura began to pump chakra toward her hand which rested above his manhood the only thing separating her hand from it was the fabric of his pants and boxers. The chakra did it's work as it began massage him, Naruto moaned a bit as his eyes opened as he turned his gaze toward the woman he had nicknamed his pink vixen.

"Sorry to wake you but I thought you would like to…" started Sakura but she never had a chance to finish as Naruto bolted up and planted a passionate kiss on her soft lips. As one of his hands wrapped around her neck pulling her close while the other started to pull off her skirt to reveal her red undergarments. While Naruto's hand was taking off her skirt Sakura's hand was also busy doing a similar act pulling off his pants and orange boxers.

While Naruto lips slowly left Sakura's lips as he kissed her neck as she moved to straddle his hips as his hands moved to pull off her top. Once Naruto pulled off her normal red tank top only to stop as he looked at the woman before him. She had somehow fallen asleep wearing the metal fish mail armor which was common for everyone however the mix of Sakura in the armor with the red bra under it all, turned him on.

"Is something wrong? Don't know how to undo the armor?" purred Sakura as Naruto grinned as he reached behind Sakura to the zipper which held the armor on.

"No, just you in metal is something unusual." explained Naruto with a grin as Sakura smiled back as he started undoing the armor "I kind of like it."

End of Mature

While Naruto and Sakura where enjoying each other another meeting was taking place between some of the most powerful people in the world. The meeting wasn't taking place face to face instead it happened using a private line between the six major military powers of the world. Those powers where the five ninja nations and the Samurai.

"So we believe they are heading south to the Three Daughter Rivers split from the Mother River." stated the head of Iwagakure the third Tsuchikage Onoki knowing that the Three Daughters Rivers are three massive rivers which flow through multiple nations. They all came from a single giant river which split into three at the same spot with one heading north and the other two heading east and south east "From there they can head down one of multiple rives and go almost anywhere within hours."

"If I remember correctly your own granddaughter is leading them?" asked Gaara as he sat behind his desk, unlike most of the other Kages who had moved into broadcasts rooms the Kazakage had remained at his desk looking at the TV screens which lined one of the walls.

"Yes, which is why we need you to stop them without harming them." stated Onoki

"You need to remove yourself from leadership old man we can't show these demons even an ounce of mercy." commanded the new Raikage Atsui as he looked out at the other kages from the office of the former Raikage A. "Your granddaughter is a demon now not even human anymore."

"And so is your sister, Samui." Countered the second oldest sitting Kage Mei Terumi as she sat in her office in Kirigakure in the land of water

"In fact we all either know someone or have a family member who is now a demon." Added the new Hokage Hanabi Hyuga.

"This conversation is going nowhere." stated the only none ninja in the conversation the Samurai General Mifune as the older general ran his hand down his long thin gray goatee. "We need to focus on containing the demon threat before another war starts, Kazakage Gaara you have the most forces near the river you must send forces to capture them."

"Very well I will send a force but we took a lot of casualties during the war and we are still rebuilding our ninja core." Stated Gaara

"So what we all are rebuilding." snapped the hot headed Astui

"The Sand took the most causalities per their population of any ninja village." stated Mifune "But they are also the only force in the area."

"Like I said I will send everyone I can." stated Gaara

"Thank you Lord Kazakage." said Mifune as all the TV screens turned off for a moment Gaara was silent before turning his gaze toward a small couch located out of sight of the TVs. Sitting there with her legs cross was his sister, Temari. She was covered with sand from all the time she had spent crossing the desert.

"I assume you heard all that well enough?" inquired Gaara as Temari smiled as she nodded her head.

"Yes, and thank you for not calling your guards the moment you walked in and found me." stated Temari as she stood up "However I need to ask your help getting all my people out of here and save those refugees from the Land of Earth."

"I can't officially help you since it would destroy this village and the people I am sworn to protect." explained Gaara as he leaned back a bit in his chair before standing up and moving to a filing cabinet located along the far wall. His sister watched him as he pulled out a file before walking back to his desk. "When our father was allied with Orochimaru he had five large tunnels to be built under this building and radiating off in all directions. These tunnels where designed to allow forces trapped inside the village to appear behind the line of an attacking enemy force so they extend three miles beyond the walls. Luckily these tunnels happen to be located right under the village civilian bunkers where I have put the Jinchūriki to keep them safe."

Temari couldn't help but smile as she took the file from her brother.

"You know they will blame you for letting us get away." stated Temari "You will need a story to tell them.

"I told them that we were limited on forces, the lack of ninjas here allowed their escape there was nothing I could do." Said Gaara "Also apart from the two of us no one knows about those tunnels, that file was deep in the secret black records I didn't even know about it until a few months ago."

"Thanks." said Temari

"Don't thank me yet, I still have to send ninja forces to capture the others but with your knowledge of the desert you can get there first and lead them around our forces." said Gaara "I just wish I could let our brother in on this little visit but the less people who know about this the better."

"Also Kankuro can't keep a secret for long." stated Temari knowing that her other brother tended to have lose lips when it came to pillow talk.

"Good luck." said Gaara as Temari moved toward the wall triggering one of the multiple secret doorways and passageways which honeycombed the Kazakage building.

Well I hope you liked this long chapter but don't get used to it, this was two short chapters I decided to put together as one. The subzero temperatures where I live pretty much stopped me from doing anything else the writing and watching football. I hope you enjoyed the talk between Naruto and Sakura as well as Ino with the Daimyos. Now until next time I would ask that you keep reading. Thanks Wilkins75.
