BurningGreymon roars in pain as he thrashes around, the others all look on helplessly, Kazemon had picked Serena up, but the female Kanbara only had eyes for her brother, his barriers were down and she could feel how scared he was, how much pain he was in, the rage of his beast spirit, " Taku-nii, you have to remember who you are! " Serena calls out even as the others start to try and contain the damage.

Inside BurningGreymon Takuya is fighting to retain even a small portion of his sense of self. The portion of him that was aware heard his little sister, felt her reaching back to him with her empathy but the tide of power was engulfing him, he was drowning in it. The Warrior of Flame and he was drowning in his own primal power. Outside Takuya's mind he's batted Beetlemon aside while Kumnamon works on putting out the fires to minimize the damage caused by the out of control Beast of Flame. BurningGreymon's eyes were filmed over with red, Kazemon keeps away from the action even as Serena keeps her link to her brother going, it was after the out of control warrior of Flame knocks all the others out of their evolutions that Serena stands tall.

The middle Kanbara child walks forward calmly, " Taku-nii, I know you won't let BurningGreymon hurt me, please, you have to regain control! "

Tommy stands up, " Takuya, please, hear us, you have to regain control. "

BurningGreymon grabs Tommy and Serena leaps away from the tail that slashes her way, " TAKUYA, SNAP OUT OF IT. This is YOUR POWER! YOU HAVE TO CONTROL IT, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND! YOU DON'T WANT TO HURT TOMMY, DO YOU? "

The others all watch as Serena keeps dodging BurningGreymon's attacks even as he keeps a hold of Tommy, never once attacking in return until she gets slammed into a tree, " Taku-nii! "

Internally Takuya's eyes widen in horror when he sees his little sister pinned beneath his hand, and Tommy being held in the other one, " Oh, fuck no! NO ONE THREATENS MY IMOOTO! PLUS, NO ONE MAKES ME HURT MY ADOPTIVE LITTLE BROTHER! "

The eldest Kanbara child spins around and stalks off to find his beast spirit, " Where is he, Agunimon? " Takuya hisses.

The human flame spirit winces, this would not be good. Externally BurningGreymon has frozen while the power struggle from within happens, " You can't miss him, I warned him to leave Serena alone. "

" Good, you're safe then. " Takuya snaps and stalks forward. Agunimon shudders he could now believe a nine year old Takuya put a grown man in the hospital if this was the result of threatening his little sister.

When a shiver of apprehension runs down BurningGreymon's spine the first inclination that maybe he should have listened to Agunimon hits him. The second was the palpable rage coming from directly behind him, the Beast of Flame spins around to see Takuya, flames were literally dancing around the Chosen Child of Flame's mental representation, " What gave you the notion that it was okay to attack my IMOOTO! "

The next second a fist slams into his head and BurningGreymon realizes his human half had been right. He should have stayed away from their partner's little sister, the kick that sends him sailing has him suddenly slamming into a wall. " My mind, my rules! "

That was the final indication, at that moment Takuya looked exactly like the primal fury he was made up of, the thought of shit came to mind as the next kick sends him up into the air only for him to get punched back down. Agunimon just shakes his head at this even while laughing his ass off, when would his feral half ever learn? Soon BurningGreymon was a shivering mass of digital flesh and bone in the mindscape, Takuya takes one step forward and the Beast of Flame flinches, " Let me make one thing perfectly clear, you never threaten my imooto again or I'll make what I just did seem like a love tap. "

" Understood. " BurningGreymon whimpers.

Takuya smirks viciously and retakes control over his own body, he fixes the damage caused and sets Tommy down before ending his evolution. He pulls his little sister to him in a hug, " Спасибо за то, веру в меня, сестренка(Thanks for having faith in me, little sister). "

" Do we even want to know what you did to BurningGreymon? " JP asks.

Koji starts shivering, his human and beast spirits had just shown him what Takuya did to his Beast spirit for daring to hurt his little sister, " No you don't. I wish I didn't know. " Koji mutters.

" This is what could happen to any of us, it's really eye opening. " Zoey murmurs as Muchomon joins the Kanbara siblings, he knew Takuya wouldn't hurt Serena.

Serena nudges her brother with her empathy and Takuya sends his answer back, he needed to feel her emotions wrapped around him at the moment. He was shaken up from what had happened. They continue on after eating and gathering up some food to take with them, mindful of Serena's metabolism. Takuya didn't look like he was going to set his sister down anytime soon either. The others could only guess that he needed comfort only she could provide at the moment. Little did they realize that the siblings were conversing empathically, Serena would be the only one whom could help Takuya sort through the emotional mess BurningGreymon had made of things.

Twenty minutes later Serena stiffens, " Мальчик Земля обратно(Earth boy back). "

Takuya groans at this, " All right, Grumblemon, you might as well show yourself so I can kick your ass and claim your spirits already. "

" You no be taking what not yours, boy. " Grumblemon says.

" My beast spirit monumentally pissed me off and I still need to have a word with you for targeting my little sister back when we were helping out the Karatsukinumemon. " Takuya snaps.

The Gigasmon part of Grumblemon is begging his human spirit to run, the boy was far too dangerous with his temper aroused. The human half of Earth ignored him and smirks at Takuya, " You no scare me. "

The ground scorches around Takuya's feet and Grumblemon starts to look nervous, remembering why it was a bad idea to piss off the Warrior of Flame. He slide evolves and Takuya pounces on Gigasmon, one flame powered punch later has the fractal code showing and he claims the beast first but the Earth Warrior escapes before the human spirit can be claimed. Takuya downloads the Beast of Earth into his D-Tector and whistles a jaunty tune as he picks his little sister up again while walking on.

The others look at where he had been standing, " Mama mia, that temper is scary. " Zoey murmurs.

Present:

Takuya just quirks an eyebrow at Gennai, " Get on with it, would you. We gotta get around to saving Digiworld after all. "

Gennai sighs, Flame was not going to make this easy on him. Muchomon and Candlemon both hover around Serena while she stands slightly behind her brother on his right while Tommy is on his left, Water and Ice were backing him up. Gaomon and Betamon were also flanking Takuya. Gennai was quick to explain everything and then he signs off. Takuya groans at this, " I seriously don't believe this, we have to build another freaking raft! "

" Hey, I got my Beast Spirit before that, beat my corrupted human spirit to the punch, besides I liked the Autumn Leaf Fair. " Serena states.

" I got my beast spirit there as well. " Tommy says.

" Yeah, but that was when we guys got our D-Tector's stolen. " Takuya whines.

" Not my fault you trusted the Toucanmon, Taku-nii. " Serena states, she hadn't and since she couldn't swim she didn't change clothes either, she'd had her D-Tector on her the entire time, that meant only the girls were capable of defending the boys and Koji was dead weight again. At least Takuya, Tommy, and JP could harness their elements and defend themselves unlike the Light Warrior.

Takuya sticks his tongue out in response to that and Serena rolls her eyes before flipping him off, Kanbara sibling interaction at its finest. Tommy just shakes his head at the both of them, his best friend and his big brother were both insane. Then they set to work building the raft, Leomon was a huge help with that and the champion level digimon decided that he wanted to come with them. Plus, he wanted to hear stories of the Warriors time in Digiworld. Once the raft is done Serena hums happily, this was her element. Takuya groans, " Desert, give me desert, not ocean. "

" Oh, quit your whining, Taku-nii. " Serena ripostes, she was seriously enjoying herself and she was speeding up their progress a little bit but not much. Thankfully she manages to mitigate some of the damage the controlled Whamon created and Tommy blinks, " No way, it's the Whamon that ate JP's Beast Spirit and saved us all from drowning. "

They still get eaten and the three warriors plus Tai aim their digivices at the black gear destroying it, " Hey, Whamon, it's me, Takuya, you wouldn't happen to know where Devimon put the tags, would you? "

Whamon coughs them up and they chill in his mouth, " Takuya, it's good to hear from you again, he hid something on the bottom of the ocean floor, I can take you all there. "

" Please do, Whamon. " Serena says.

" My queen, welcome home. "

" Why thank ya, Whamon-sug'ah. " Serena says, Ranamon's southern twang taking over.

Takuya rolls his eyes, " Ranamon, must you take over my sister? "

" Now Takuya-sug'ah ya know we have a time sha'ah agreement. " Ranamon retorts.

" You guys really are Shamans, aren't you? " Izzy asks.

" Yeah, it's just imooto is more closely bonded to her spirits, I come in a close second in that regard. " Takuya says.

" We've all always felt that Digiworld is home, more than the human world since we literally became digimon though Takuya is the only one to have a rookie form. " Tommy admits.

Serena starts giggling at this and Takuya pouts, " Flamemon is adorable and I'm taller than Flamemon. "

Tai can't help it, he starts laughing at the expression on Takuya's face and this causes the Flame Warrior to pout even more, " Flamemon is a fierce warrior. "

" Flamemon is cute and cuddly. " Serena retorts, " I know cute and cuddly, it's practically encoded into every female's DNA, Taku-nii. "

" You're so cruel to me. " Takuya says, still pouting.

" I guess you don't get your birthday present then. "

Takuya bolts upright, he had been slouching while he was being teased, " You've already gotten my birthday present? "

" Kenji's mom likes me, she's been training me too, as a demon huntress, she had a hunt at a certain place and I took advantage to get you a rather unique gift. " Serena says.

Takuya looks at her, " Maledizione, now I'm going to be wondering what you got me until my birthday, you are fucking cruel. "

" Hey, I still have no idea what I'm getting for Shinya. " Serena points out.

Takuya winces, " How about we share this one, I have no idea what I'm getting him either. "

" Sounds good to me, Taku-nii. " Serena admits as they reach their destination. One fight later they have the tags though Serena's was light blue, Takuya's was red, and Tommy's was white the others were all gold toned.

Real World, Odaiba:

The other warriors have managed to get into Odaiba and find a place to hunker down until they were needed. Koji was out walking around to see if he could find the child that was still in their world since Light happened to be his element. Little did he know that he was being watched by someone that wanted the Legendary Warriors out of the way. Said watcher also was being watched by one of Stratus' senshi protectors, she had been instructed to protect the Warrior Destined still in the Human World.

Time Gates:

Sailor Pluto frowns as she observes events through the gates, nothing was going as planned, the hime had a support system and was not Kenji's child. What was going on, why were things so different? Why had she been born to Ikkuko and Kanbara Hiroaki anyhow? With Takuya as her older brother Pluto knew she was screwed if she tried her usual tricks of keeping the hime in Juuban. Why the hell was the hime a Digi fucking Destined anyhow?
