Author's Note: This chapter continues on from Part 1 of my Fall of Gallifrey story from Jenny Tyler 74. I may be jumping the gun a bit early, but I'm going to finish the story with this part and then soon the last part in Jenny Tyler 75 because I didn't want to lose my momentum on it. This may make my other stories that haven't caught up to it just yet a bit disjointed for a little while, but just bear with me because I'll put notes on them as to where they fall in the continuity so you won't get confused. THE FALL OF GALLIFREY PART 2

I couldn't believe everything that I had just been through in the past few hours. It was all like a blur in my mind now because it had seemed to pass so fast. I couldn't help but relive it all though as I finally stood there face to face with Rassilon at last. It suddenly now became very important to remember everything that had finally led to the moment I had been waiting a billion years to see.

It had all started when the War Lords had started their final attack against Gallifrey. Rassilon had lowered the transduction barrier all over the planet and had allowed the War Lords to land there. War then broke out all over the planet as the Time Lords received a sudden sneak attack by the War Lords, the Weeping Angels, the renegade Daleks, and an army of clones of Jenny everywhere at once.

It had seemed as if Gallifrey was destined to fall until yours truly, Jenny, and Belle turned the tide by working together. Jenny singlehandedly freed the Capitol, Belle had retaken her ship the Phobos from the War Lords, and I saved the city of Arcadia. That was extremely fun by the way. It's always good to deliver a good beat down to a couple of well deserving goons.

Soon between the three of us and our family and friends we freed every city on Gallifrey and successfully imprisoned or drove the War Lords and their allies off of the planet. Just as we thought that we had finally succeeded though, we found out just how much that we had truly failed as Rassilon tricked us all.

Somehow he had taken over all of Gallifrey with his newly rebuilt gauntlet (we still didn't know how), and only a few of us were now left to stand against him. Rose was one of those because I had deliberately kept her out of the fight since I knew that Rassilon was after her. Now though she had rejoined the battle against my better judgment just in time to be with the rest of us including the leaders of the War Lords who had made a temporary alliance with us as we confronted Rassilon and his army of Jennys at the entrance to the Capitol.

This was it at long last. We will all about to have one last battle with Rassilon to determine the fate of the Time Lords for the rest of time.

Rassilon immediately recognized Rose unfortunately even inside of Clara's body where she had been since she had been forced to merge with her in order to save herself in an earlier fight. That was the scariest moment yet for me because then I knew that Rose was still very much in danger, and I wished that she had stayed hidden. That was never Rose's way though especially when her family was in danger.

Rassilon then activated his gauntlet and used it against us in an attempt to do to us whatever he had just done to everyone else on Gallifrey. Many of us now began to scream and to be driven to their knees by his attack.

Not all of us did though. To both our and Rassilon's instant surprise, many of us weren't affected in the slightest including me. I had no idea for sure why that was at that moment, but I had a pretty good idea about it that was going to be confirmed shortly.

To my great relief, Rose didn't seem to be affected either. No one was happier about that than she was as she began to show off that huge face wide grin of hers that looked so strange to see on Clara's face.

Rassilon was perplexed that so many of us weren't affected by his attack especially Rose as he said in an outraged voice, "This isn't possible. I had my servant steal the biodata of every Time Lord in the Matrix including Arkytior's and download it to my gauntlet. I then found a way to use my gauntlet to bind them to me through their own genetic structure so that there would be no way that they could resist my commands even if they wanted to do so. I should have complete control of every Time Lord in the universe!"

I beamed with satisfaction as my private theory about what he was doing was proven right and said, "There's just one problem with that, Rassy. Not all of us here have our biodata stored in the Matrix. I know I never did and neither did Jenny. I was born before there even was a Matrix, and Jenny was born from the technology of another world. So yeah you don't quite have all of us under your spell. Your takeover of Gallifrey is far from complete because there are some of us that you couldn't possibly have a genetic code for inside of your little glove."

Rassilon didn't seem to be as bothered by that as I had hoped that he would be as he began to smirk and looked at a view screen on his gauntlet as he said, "That's true but now that I have control over all of Gallifrey I also have access to other resources like the files of the Celestial Intervention Agency for instance. I see that they had some old tissue samples of yours once from their records. It shouldn't be too long before I find some kind of information from their research that will show me your specific genetic code, and when I do I will own you. In fact it's only a matter of time now until I own all of you even if you aren't in the Matrix. I'll find something on you somewhere. It's only a matter of time."

"You'll never own me! Never!" I screamed as I completely lost it and launched myself at him in mindless fury.

"I already own you, Sekhmet. I own you in here!" Rassilon said as he grabbed me by the throat with one hand and pointed at my forehead with the other one.

"Let go of my wife!" Robin shouted as he quickly shot two arrows in rapid succession right into both of Rassilon's hearts.

Both arrows were quickly caught in mid-air by the lightning fast reflexes of one of the Jenny clones. I could hear the real Jenny groan from off to the side at that while Rassilon laughed.

"As you can see, the clones all answer to me now. I don't yet understand why the original and her first clone do not but I will soon. This is only a temporary setback, Sekhmet. I've still won. In fact, I won against you a long time ago. Your whole life has been centered around me whether you want to admit it or not. You and all of the rest of the children of Gallifrey have always belonged to me. Now I'm just making it official," Rassilon said with an evil laugh.

That was when I unloaded a massive burst of regenerative energy right into his face!

Rassilon screamed in agony as he immediately let me go. I then proceeded to continue to attack him without letting up on him for even a moment. Jenny, Rose, and Belle now joined in on the attack against Rassilon as well, and the others started to fight back against the Jenny clones and the enthralled Chancellery Guards who now sought to protect Rassilon from the rest of us.

I could see that Rassilon was furious now as he realized that despite his bravado that my team and I were far from finished. He knew that there was still a very good chance that his new reign over Gallifrey was going to be very short-lived.

"I won't be beaten now that I'm so close to ultimate victory. Do you understand that? The Time Lords will all become extensions of my will at last. They will all be me, and there will be no more individuality," Rassilon said as he continued to resist all of our attacks.

"Look out. He still has the power of the Vortex like he did the last time that I fought him," Rose warned just as Rassilon unleashed a massive burst of energy that sent us all flying away from him in every direction.

"No, that's not possible. I changed his genetic structure so that not only would he only have months to live but that he would have no ability to tap into the Vortex at all whatsoever. It was the only way that I would even think about bringing him back," the War Chief protested.

"I told you that it was a mistake to underestimate him. He's too dangerous to be allowed to exist," Omega protested.

"That's why I took steps against him," General Cobb said with a wide grin on his face.

I looked at him in surprise even as I started to fight with Rassilon again as I asked, "You're protecting Jenny and Belle from him? You?"

"He stole Jenny's genetic records from the War Lords' database, but what he didn't know is that I have planted a virus in that data that only lets him get access to the specific genetic code of the clones who I deliberately made slightly different from Jenny and Belle. They have no real personality of their own you see. I did that as soon as I knew that Rassilon was being brought back because I was afraid of something just like this happening. I was never going to let Rassilon get a chance to hurt my daughter," Cobb said.

Belle smiled at him as she said, "You do still care about me then?"

"I only care about the War Lord," Cobb said but he didn't sound too sure about that.

"It doesn't matter what you do. No virus is going to protect her data from me for long," Rassilon said.

"Oh, you'd be surprised," Cobb said.

That was when the Jenny clones started to turn against Rassilon and joined us in attacking him as Cobb said with a grin, "The virus not only protects Jenny and Belle's data, but it also starts erasing all of the data as soon as it's downloaded. Apparently it just finished, and the clones all decided that they don't like you attacking their sisters."

"Traitor!" Rassilon shouted as he attacked Cobb with an enormous burst of energy that undoubtedly would have instantly killed him if Belle hadn't deflected it away from him at the last minute.

"It looks like this just isn't your day is it, Rassy?" I said taunting him as I and the others continued to attack him from all sides.

Then Rassilon suddenly started smiling triumphantly again as he said, "The day isn't over yet, Sekhmet. In fact, it's only just beginning."

Then to my horror, Rassilon used his glove to completely disintegrate all of the Jenny clones at once while he briefly glowed all over for a few moments afterwards.

"There. I've just used their genes to fill in the holes in my genetic structure and stabilize myself while simultaneously ridding myself of their annoying presence once and for all. They're no longer necessary now that I don't have any control over them," Rassilon said with a smirk.

Then he proceeded to point his gauntlet at Rose, and she began screaming as Rassilon said, "You did a very good job, Lady Arkytior. You hid your body so deeply inside of the human's that my gauntlet almost didn't find it. You were very clever but not clever enough."

Rose fell to her knees screaming as I could see her visibly trying to resist his control while her face became contorted in agony. Then I saw her starting to separate from Clara, and I knew that she was only moments away from being Rassilon's puppet. He was using the gauntlet to rip her out of Clara because she wasn't strong enough to leave her yet on her own.

"No! Leave her alone!" I screamed as I attacked him with every iota of energy that I could summon up.

"It's too late now, Sekhmet. She's mine," Rassilon said as Rose finished separating from Clara and looked at me with empty eyes devoid of any feeling whatsoever while Clara fell to the ground and lay there lifeless and unmoving.

That was when I reached my boiling point when I could see no trace of the sweet, loving person that I had always saw in those eyes before. He was not turning my daughter into a mindless zombie!

I began battering him with life cycle after life cycle of power as I shouted, "She was taken from me once, but she never will be again! DO YOU HEAR ME, YOU MONSTER?! NEVER AGAIN!"

"It's too late now. It's already done. She is mine just as you will soon be," Rassilon said as he continued to hold his own against those of us who were still left to fight him.

Then things became much worse as Rose began to do his will and started to attack me. I soon found myself having to protect myself from my own daughter, and I couldn't do anything against her but hold her at bay. I would not and I could not fight back against her. I couldn't bring myself to hurt her no matter what.

"Mum, don't! Fight him!" Jenny protested but her screams fell on deaf ears.

Rose was soon coming very close to delivering a lethal blow to me because I couldn't fight her back properly. Rassilon smirked at this because he knew that he had finally found the perfect weapon against me: my daughter.

"Soon she will strike you down, Sekhmet. Then I will finish off the rest of your friends and family. It's over now. My plan is already in motion and reaching its inevitable conclusion. Nothing can stop it now. In fact, why don't I make sure of that? Mortimus, I'll let you have Sekhmet's head on a pike and complete autonomy if you help me now. What do you say to that?" Rassilon said.

The Monk looked at me with undisguised hatred in his eyes as he hesitated in the fight against Rassilon. I knew then that he was about to turn on us.

"Mortimus, don't do this. He's just using you. He'll turn on you as soon as the rest of us fall," I said.

The Monk glared at me as he said, "All that matters to me is that you fall first. I think it's high time that I got to see the final end of you at last, Persephone!"

Then he began to join Rose in attacking me as he began to fire on me with a staser that he had stolen from a guard. I could see that it was set on the maximum setting because it completely disintegrated everything that its beam touched, and I feared that it might even destroy me if it ever connected. Now that I had to fight two of them at once while trying to keep from seriously hurting Rose, it was beginning to prove to be completely overwhelming to me. If I hadn't been holding back, it would have been a different story because Rose was still weakened from her fight with River Song.

"You traitor!" the War Chief screamed as he and Omega tried to attack the Monk and help me.

"Oh, no. There will be no helping Sekhmet. Not this day," Rassilon said as he gestured at the War Chief and began to disintegrate him with one hand while he held off Jenny, Belle, and the others with a force field created by his other one.

"Sorry, Magnus. It looks like you chose the wrong side," the Monk said laughing as he continued to attack me while the War Chief screamed in agony.

"No, you chose the wrong side when you attacked my wife again," Robin said as he fired a barrage of arrows straight into the Monk's chest.

The Monk screamed as several of them landed in his hearts, and he lay there in extreme agony. Apparently the wounds weren't bad enough to instantly kill him, but they were bad enough to take him out of the action for good.

"Consider that payback for almost killing Lily before," Robin said with a fierce gaze.

The War Chief was almost dissolved into atoms by this time, and many of my friends and family members were already lying unconscious or possibly in worse shape nearby as Rassilon and his guards overcame then one after another. Rassilon was simply too powerful to be stopped now. The only one who had ever been able to beat him before was Rose at her full power, and now he had her fighting against me. I had been trying and trying to snap her out of his hold by talking to her and even screaming at her but I just couldn't. Nothing would reach her.

What could we possibly do to stop him now?

Rassilon laughed as he said, "I see from the look on your face that you've finally realized just how helpless that your situation is now. It's over, Sekhmet. Over and done. Say good bye to your freedom. Say good bye to your pathetic excuse for a life. You were never going to get away from me, Sekhmet. You were always destined to become my tool no matter how hard you tried or how far that you ran from me. Good bye, Sekhmet. Rest in peace, Lily."

Then Rassilon unleashed a massive wave of energy that knocked us all to the ground and knocked many of my remaining allies out cold instantly. All I could do was watch helplessly from the ground as the War Chief screamed one last time as he faded away.

"I tried to warn him," Omega said in a weak voice from where he lay near me.

"I know," I said as I watched Rose getting back on her feet with a wary eye and knew that after that last attack that I was in no condition to stop her this time.

"You and I are almost as old as Rassilon himself, and we have powerful wills, Sekhmet. I once kept an entire universe going with the force of mine alone. If we could only combine our wills together, we may be able to overcome his and free Rose," Omega suggested.

"Yet's do it then. Contact," I said as I closed my eyes even while Rose headed straight towards me.

"Contact," Omega said.

Then we combined our wills together and began to attack Rassilon's mind while Jenny, who was the only one of us strong enough to still be on her feet at this point, began to try to contain Rose in a force field so that she could hold her away from us while she kept fighting Rassilon. She obviously knew what we were trying to do.

Working together, Omega and I actually managed to make Rassilon's hand start moving towards his gauntlet against his will. We continued to keep concentrating harder and harder as we tried to make him switch it off and release Rose and the others from his control.

"No, you won't defeat me! Not this time. My victory is almost complete. I almost have complete control over the Time Lords, and when I force Arkytior to kill you my revenge on her will be complete as I shatter her spirit forever. I won't lose now. I won't!" Rassilon screamed as he resisted our attempt to control him.

There was then a massive psychic backlash as Rassilon's anger combined with his absolute and complete belief in himself gave him just enough of an edge to overcome both of us together at last. In the end, his will had just been too strong. This final assault left both Omega and I lying on the ground in a nearly helpless state. I could barely even blink now much less fight back against Rose who now strained against Jenny's force field as she struggled to move closer and closer to me.

"You're the only one left able to fight now. It's over, child. Give up now and I'll be merciful towards you. Continue to resist and I'll destroy you without pity. It's your choice," Rassilon said to Jenny as she continued to try to help me.

"You know that I can't do that. I won't just let you destroy everything that I care about, and I'm definitely not going to let you kill my grandmother or zombify my mother. I'm never giving up no matter what you do, Rassilon. I'll keep fighting you until every last breath is gone from my body," Jenny said as she bravely stood her ground.

Rassilon actually seemed to look impressed by that as he said, "I know now why the High Council thought so highly of you. In another life, you may have made a great and wise leader. Unfortunately in this life, you've just made an enemy out of me. It's time to die now, young one. If it makes you feel any better, I won't enjoy this. It's such a tragic waste of talent and ability."

"No, it doesn't make me feel any better in the slightest. The only tragic waste that I see here is you and what you're about to do to your own people by basically lobotomizing them just to satisfy your own enormous ego. I won't let that stand," Jenny said.

I can tell you that I've never been as proud of my granddaughter as I was in that moment as she stood alone against the most evil Time Lord of them all and continued to defy him because she knew that it was right. I was trying to get up and help her, but I was still so weak that I couldn't even speak much less move.

It seemed as if everything was lost in that moment, and I was so afraid that I was about to watch our last hope die right in front of me. All I could do was lie there and silently curse myself for not being able to do anything to help her.

Then I looked Rose in the eyes and swore I saw a mischievous twinkle there. If I could have, I would have smiled as I knew in that moment that all was most definitely not lost. I knew that Rose had a plan.

Then any hope that I had seemed to be dashed just as quickly as it had come as Rassilon attacked Jenny with a blast so powerful that she went flying up into the sky and off into the distance. I immediately lost track of her as she vanished out of sight, and my hearts fell as I imagined all kinds of horrible fates waiting for her.

"It's done. Now, Arkytior, destroy Sekhmet," Rassilon said with a malicious smile filled with glee.

Then the smile was wiped from Rassilon's face as he was suddenly bombarded by a massive wave of silver Vortex energy that made him scream out in immense pain. Both Rassilon and I were shocked to see Clara standing there glowing with power as a silver aura covered her from head to toe.

"Sorry, Rassilon, but I can't let you kill her. I was once trusted by her parents to protect her, and I never let anything happen to one of my kids. Not on my watch," Clara said.

"You can't defeat me, human. You're nothing compared to me. I am Rassilon, founder of the oldest civilization in recorded history and creator of a dynasty that has lasted for several millennia. Who are you to dare to defy me, you primitive ape?!" Rassilon screamed in fury.

I so wanted to throttle him in that moment. So very much! Clara was worth at least a billion of him if not more.

Clara only smiled in amusement though as she said, "I'm Clara Oswald, the Impossible Girl, and thanks to Rose I'm now something more. You see all of that time that she spent inside of me she was changing me, and I realize now that she was making me more powerful as she gave me a stronger connection to the Vortex. I think that she knew that this day was coming, and that I would need to become more powerful so that I could defeat you. Knowing her I'm sure of it. I don't know whether to be angry at her for that or grateful. At the moment, I'm siding with grateful because I'm so going to enjoy getting rid of you. No one hurts my family, Rassilon. No one!"

Then she began to attack him with stronger and stronger blasts of energy by the moment making him wail in agony. I became just a bit stronger myself now, and I managed to somehow get to my feet as I slowly moved forward to help her. I had to take Rassilon by surprise while I still could.

Amazingly enough Rose never even moved to stop me. Rassilon was distracted by Clara just enough where Rose could regain some form of self-control I realized and stop herself from carrying out his final orders even if she couldn't do anything else.

I continued to slowly move forward as my body began to slowly glow with energy once again. I could tell that Clara could see me out of the corner of her eye, but to her credit she didn't let on that I was there.

Finally I managed to make it just behind Rassilon and I signaled Clara. We then both unleashed a massive blast of energy at his gauntlet from two directions at once taking him completely by surprise. Our combined attack destroyed it instantly and melted Rassilon's hand into a stump as he screamed out in agonizing pain.

Gallifrey was now freed but it didn't do us much good as everyone who had been controlled by the gauntlet now passed out from the backlash that its sudden destruction had just caused. The entire planet was now left pretty much defenseless while Rassilon seemed to look madder than ever (in both senses of the word).

"Neither of you will live to enjoy your victory!" Rassilon shouted as he began to attack both me and Clara at the same time with a massive surge of power.

I finally realized as the devastating surge of energy hit me that Rassilon may be down, but he wasn't out yet. He was simply too powerful for anyone to handle now even in his present weakened state.

I knew that it was finally over as Clara and I both fell to the ground, and I started to pass out. Just before I completely lost consciousness though, I heard a familiar voice suddenly challenge Rassilon. With my last conscious thoughts, I suddenly regained my lost hope as I heard the following words.

"It's over, Rassilon. I am Jenny Tyler-Smith Baker, Lady President of Gallifrey as declared by a unanimous vote of the High Council of the Time Lords. This planet and its people are now under my protection and so is this universe. I'm not about to let you destroy or enslave either one. Your time with its endless Time Wars and its useless destruction and thirst for power is through now. It's over with. You are the past and I am the future, Rassilon. I am going to carry the Time Lords forward into a new age of peace, and we're going to leave you behind in the past along with all of the other outdated garbage and useless ideas of the past. It's time for a new era now, Rassilon. Mine," Jenny said in a defiant voice.

"Kick him into the stratosphere, Jen," I mumbled right before I passed out completely.

I was wrong before. Now I was prouder of her than I ever had been in my life. I just wished that I could have been able to stay conscious long enough to see what was about to happen next. Jenny was about to finally let him have it on behalf of all of us who had ever been victimized by that horrible monster for century after century.

I felt sure now that Rassilon was finally about to get his payback for what he had done. That was something that I had been eagerly waiting to see for a billion years, and I was so glad that my Jenny was about to be the one to finally give it to him.

The final part of this story will be continued in Jenny Tyler, Time's Angel Chapter 75 as Jenny fights alone against Rassilon in a life and death struggle for survival that will take place all across time and space whose final stakes will be the ultimate fate of the Time Lords. I'll let you know what happened here in the next chapter of this story if you don't read Jenny's story though so don't worry about that.

Next time in this story: As she recovers from the events of this story both mentally and physically, Lily is visited by Holly and Skaren and finds out that their lives have gone through many changes but in a very good way. Their visit is not just for a social reason however as the Zygons need Lily's help. Exactly what problems are they facing now and what are the Paternoster Gang doing right in the middle of them?
