Chapter 60 Rise from the Shadows

"This is not what I was expecting." stated the Earth Daimyo as all the major Daimyos and the Kages of the five great ninja villages gathered together in a large meeting room which was still in the process of being set up for a massive meeting of all the Daimyo in a couple of days.

"Well at least we know where they are now." countered the Fire Daimyo "And we can put an end to them once and for all."

"I do not think that will be necessary." countered Gaara as he got a death glare from all the Daimyos and some of the Kages. "Tell me why is that we are even considering going to war against them in the first place?"

"Because they are a threat to humanity," stated the Raikage Atsui as he looked at Gaara "I understand that you may not want to admit it since it would mean killing your sister. However I am in the same boat as you and I will put my sister Samui down when the time comes."

"How are they a threat?" inquired Gaara, as he looked at the Daimyos "My Lords, I know you have said that the demons want to destroy humanity but you have never what proof you have?"

"You have no right to talk to us in that way, we are the Daimyo." Snapped the Fire Daimyo stop as the older Water Daimyo raised his hand to silence the younger man.

"Lord Fire Daimyo, I understand your anger and yes he has no right to question us on this matter." stated the Water Daimyo as he looked toward the Fire Daimyo and raised his hand as if he was a teacher to the young man. "However as a Kage he should be trusted with the source of our information."

"I disagree he is too close to the demons just like four out of the five kages we have currently." stated the Wind Daimyo "We shouldn't fully trust them with our source."

"Who is this source?" inquired Mei Terumi as the Daimyos looked at each other as if debating between themselves without speaking. Finally the Water Daimyo spoke up.

"Kabuto Yakushi." explained the Water Daimyo as the Kages eyes widened "He gave us information about the demons and their goals, turns out Orochimaru discovered this Ark they were sealed in and studied the outside of the Ark. He provided us both photographic of the outside of the Ark and the translations of the writing."

"You trust that snake?" inquired Gaara stunned that they would trust the right hand of Orochimaru, the man who had killed and then impersonated his father.

"No, but everything he has told us has been backed up, we translated the photos of the writing on the outside and it matched almost word for word." Stated the Wind Daimyo "The demons sealed themselves away so that they could reclaim their rightful spot as the dominate species on the surface of world when the time came. Well it is our world now and it isn't that far of a leap to see that the only way they can reclaim it is by removing us."

"Also Kabuto has kept his word for years, he has ruled the Land of Sound with no issues and apart from some guards for the bank he runs he has nothing that could be considered a military force." stated the Earth Daimyo "I have some loans through him and everything is going great."

"Did you take his offer for a lower interest rate for access to scrolls on different Justus?" inquired the Fire Daimyo

"I just sold him the old things for forgiveness on the lower amounts of loans." stated the Earth Daimyo "I could have paid for it but the gold is worth more to me than those books."

"You're selling him Justus?" inquired Hanabi as she looked around at all the Daimyo who each nodded their head.

"Why not, all he wants to learn them and it isn't like it is even possible. He will be long dead before he could master half." laughed the Fire Daimyo "And it is only village level Justus that all ninjas from the Leaf learns not clan person Justus. Also our families where the ones who first designed those justus or did you forget your history?"

Hanabi sculled as she remembered her history, the Daimyo rose to power mostly due to the fact that centuries ago their ancestors had been students of the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths Hagoromo Otsutsuki who taught the first ninjas. The ancestors of the ruling Daimyo families had been their top students and developed the Justus that were still used today. Then capsulized on their knowledge they sold the rights to ninja clans for money and land which they used to build up their gold and influence which they used to gain power.

"Now what do we do about the demons?" inquired the Water Daimyo "I say we arrest them now."

"We can't they are diplomats from the Land of Granite and they are safe from all harm here." countered the Earth Daimyo "We wouldn't want someone to attempt to kill us at one of these events would we? Because if we do it to them we open the door to that in the future."

"Fine, then we go to war against them it is as simple as that." stated the Fire Daimyo as he turned to Hanabi "How soon can you get an army down to the Land of Granite?"

"We are moving a little too fast." interjected Onoki "I say try to make them fall into certain guild lines, maybe make them follow the original guild lines they would have to follow if they never left our villages."

"They rejected those rules when they left our villages, they will not follow them now?" inquired Hanabi "We can try but I am not hopeful of that."

"Alright we will try to get them into their place peacefully but we will prepare for war." stated the Wind Daimyo as he turned toward the Kages "Make arrangements for the movement of troops down here for a march down to put an end to these demons once and for all."

"I wonder if we still have time to go back to the party?" inquired the Fire Daimyo

A few rooms away the party had cleared out earlier than normal, the confrontation that Ino had with the Daimyo and Kages had caused people to call it a night early and the staff was thanking God for it. Since it meant not only could they go home early but that they also had more left overs for their own makeshift party.

Naruto and Ino had left the party after a couple of drinks and now they had returned to the hotel room quickly they had headed upstairs toward the bedroom.

"Well that was an interesting time." stated Naruto as he flipped on the lights.

"I shouldn't have snapped like that." Admitted Ino as she took off her high heals and rubbed her feet. "But I wanted to punch that man's lights out when he came up to us."

"I wanted to snap his neck." confirmed Naruto with a laugh.

"I would have liked that, it would mean any blame for a war would fall on you instead of me." Confirmed Ino as both of them laugh. "Well I better get out of this dress."

"I thought I was going to take it off you?" inquired Naruto

"My dear, Naruto-kun I have something far more fun for you take off me then this dress." Stated Ino as Naruto grinned. "Now take off those cloths and lie down on the bed and close your eyes."

"And if I refuse?" said Naruto as he leaned forward and kissed her neck earning a slight moan from her. "I am a Kage remember, my dear vixen?"

"And I am the daimyo, so do what I say." explained Ino as she leaned her neck to the side to give Naruto more room to kiss it.

"Alright."

"Good, boy and leave the lights on." ordered Ino as she disappeared into the walk in closet where she had put all the clothing. Naruto did as he was told and took off his cloths from the party tossing them over a reading chair located in the corner of the room until finally he only had his orange boxers on. For a moment he sat on the edge of the bed wondering what Ino had planned.

"Your eyes better be close Naruto-kun." ordered Ino from the closet as Naruto lied down and closed his eyes.

"They are." confirmed Naruto as he expected to hear the door opening but instead he suddenly felt his right arm move up and over his head followed by two clicking sounds. He looked up to see a pair of purple fur covered handcuffs, one of them was wrapped around his wrist while the other had been attached to the metal bedpost.

"Now…now Naruto-kun what did I say about opening your eyes?" said Ino's voice

Naruto looked away from the handcuffs toward the woman who had somehow gotten on top of him without him hearing anything. Normally the fact that someone could sneak up on him would cause his mind to start racing in fear however now his mind was focus on what Ino had on, or rather what she didn't have on. It was an almost totally see through set of purple lingerie, it had small reflected pieces which glimmered in the light. The top wrapped around her neck with a large open center which showed her cleavage.

"Ah someone is happy to see me." said Ino as she felt Naruto's now hardened manhood press against the fabric attempting to get out of the boxers.

"I think." offered Ino with a smirk which told Naruto two things, first this was going to be a long night and secondly that it was going to be a very, very fun night. Without saying another word, Ino began to plant kisses and love bits down his chest before finally coming to the top of his boxers. She looked up at him with that same loving playful smirk then with one quick movement those where pulled down freeing Naruto's manhood.

"INO!" moaned Naruto as she went to work, he moaned Ino's names multiple times before he reached his climax.

"I knew you would enjoy that." whispered Ino into Naruto's ear after she had whipped away some of his seed from around her mouth.

"Now it's my turn." Said Naruto with a foxy grin as Ino blinked, seconds later she was on her back and it was her wrist which was handcuffed to the bedpost while Naruto was free and on top of her.

"I knew I should have handcuffed both of your hands." Laughed Ino before Naruto kissed her, now it was Ino's turn as Naruto planted kisses down her body and down toward her womanhood .

The knock at the door was unwelcomed as Naruto opened his eyes, only to find out it was even more unwelcomed coming at 7:48 in the morning. He did not want to leave the warmth of the bed or Ino who was still slightly snoring in her sleep beside him. As the knocking kept up, Naruto finally slipped into a pair of shorts and went to grab a shirt only to toss it aside when he realized it was Ino's. Finally, he reached the front door of the hotel room; he opened it only to see Temari standing there.

"Morning." said Naruto as he rubbed sleep from his eyes and looked at his friend and foreign affair advisor. "What brings you here?"

"The Kages meet in an hour and a half and the Daimyos have requested a one on one advance with Ino." reported Temari as Naruto raised an eyebrow at the idea of them requesting anything. "Ok it was more of a demand but if there is going to be any attempt at peace why offend them."

"So what time do we have to be there?" inquired Naruto

"Ino has to be there at nine and you have just over half an hour." Stated Temari as Naruto nodded his head, wishing he could go back to sleep. "You do remember all the protocols you have to follow?"

"Yes." confirmed Naruto as he closed his eyes, they had spent most of the train ride up going over them. "Don't they normally have these meetings around lunch time? Since when do the Daimyo do any work before one in the afternoon?"

"They want to get you when you're tired and hung over," stated Temari as Naruto nodded his head as he stood up and headed upstairs to wake up Ino and prepare for his meeting.

It was eight thirty in the morning and already the meeting was half an hour old. The Kages had decided to meet at eight so that they could discuss among themselves before their guest arrived. The room was rather simple with compared to the rest of the rooms that could be seen elsewhere in the massive mansion.

The room was circler with black oak walls and black marble floors, a large skylight covered a large part of the ceiling allowing natural light to flood the room. Originally, the room was designed for stargazing, which explained the dark marble and the skylights both of which would make stargazing easier. In the center of the room was a circular depression, which was lined with seats, in the center of that depression, was a massive circular marble table.

Around that table sat the Kages of the five great ninja nations their multiple colored Kage hats sat to their right side and to their left sat a weapon of their choice. Normally a weapon would not be required but they wanted to be extra careful since they would have a guest coming. The guards which stood behind each of the Kages where on high alert as the door leading into the room opened.

All eyes were on that door and the guard's hands moved toward their weapons believing that an attack was highly possible. Two figures entered the room the first man was the one they had invited, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. He was dressed in a black jonnin outfit with a large jacket similar to the one his father wore when he was the Hokage only Naruto's was black with orange flames around the bottom. On his back hung a large hand and half sword however it was the thing on his head which caused the blood of most of the other Kages to boil. Right above his blue eyes sat a headband with what had to be the symbol of their village but on top of that he had a black Kage hat.

The second man who would serve as Naruto's guard during this meeting was not even a ninja it was Lord Eastman. The knight wore the armored breastplate along with leg and hand armor of a knight, the armor itself was a silver color with a bright gold phoenix on the chest plate with its wings spread. In one of the man's hand was a shield with the same symbol on it and a long sword rested on his hip.

"Thank you for having me here today." said Naruto as he moved to take a seat in the depression, before he sat down he pulled his sword out of his back scabbard and placed the strange white blade down on the table right beside his own Kage hat.

"What do you think you're doing with that hat demon?" asked the young Raikage Atsui as Naruto looked toward his black Kage hat.

"Well I was named the Onikage for the twin villages of Nadeji and Shimagakure the village hidden in Granite." explained Naruto with his trademark cocky grin "And since this is a meeting of the Kages I thought it necessary to bring it."

"You are no Kage." Said the only none Kage who sat the table the son of the man Naruto had killed General Mifune the sixth. "You're a demon."

"Can't I be both?" inquired Naruto the head General and Leader of the Samurai of the Land of Iron.

"Does it really matter if he calls himself a Kage or not it isn't like we don't let the leader of Hoshigakure call himself the Hoshikage." stated Gaara as he looked at everyone else around the table, everyone knew he was trapped. Gaara was the Kazakage and as such, he would lead his nation in war if the Daimyo ordered it however, Naruto was his friend and his own sister was a demon. "It doesn't matter in the end."

"It does the title of Kage is a symbol of your power as a military leader and the power your nation has." stated Atsui as Naruto chuckled a bit. "What is it Demon?"

"Since you asked, if that is the case they you shouldn't even be considered a Kage." stated Naruto "Tell me what percentage of your ninja cores where destroyed in your civil war? 60 or 70 percent?"

Blood rushed toward the Raikage's face as anger built up within him, everyone knew the civil war had cost a lot and most of his forces which were left where fresh recruits who could barely be called gennin. The Lightening Jonnin core was a joke and the ANBU core only really existed on paper.

"Maybe we have gotten off on the wrong foot," said the Onoki as Tsuchikage of Iwagakure leaned back in his seat. He was going to play the role of elder statement to the young hot-blooded leaders around him. Since he had been waging wars since before most of these Kages had been born and he didn't want to see another war.

"Agreed we need to focus on more important issues," stated Mei Terumi as the Mizukage agreed with the senior Kage. "Now Naruto or do you wish for us to call you something else."

"Naruto is fine, I prefer that we use or names instead of titles." Said Naruto as the Kages nodded their heads.

"Well then Naruto, I guess the first question is will you surrender yourself and these villages you claim to defend to us?" inquired Mei Terumi "It is the only way to save yourself and their lives."

"No." answered Naruto

"Then you want war then." stated Hanabi as the Hokage spoke up for the first time.

"Hanabi I have a question for you, are your people willing to die in mass all in failed attempts to try to take over a nation who only wants to be left alone in peace?" inquired Naruto as Hanabi smiled slightly.

"Naruto I know you have always been an idiot but look around this room, before you sit the leaders of six of the most powerful nations in the world." stated Hanabi as she looked at her other Kages and the General of the Land of Iron. "It was us who defeated Madara and the ten tailed demon, you can't win against us."

"I think you underestimate us," stated Naruto "We have had four years to prepare our defenses and train our forces, we have some of the strongest ninjas in the world on our side including family members of four Kages. Yes, you have numbers but we have ways to counter those numbers and tell me are you going to handle your own people?"

"Our own people?" inquired Hanabi

"Yes, your own people how will you handle them when they start protesting against you after so many of their son, daughters, parents and friends die on mass as you keep failing to take us over?" stated Naruto as he took a breath. "Listen I don't want a war and I hop none of you want a war either but along with myself the men and women under my command will fight and die for our homes and for everyone you take down we will take down twenty or more of yours."

"When I was younger my uncle brought me to a zoo and there was a large male lion there. Now being only six at the time I believed this lion to be the symbol of power itself. Then it opened it's mouth and gave a mighty roar." stated General Mifune the sixth as the others in the room wondered where this story was going "However I noticed that he had no teeth and in that moment I realized he was more frightened of me then I was of him. That is what you are Naruto, you and your demons you are a toothless cat trying to frighten us with your roar. We will break any defenses you had and whoever doesn't bow to our control will be put to the sword."

Naruto lowered his head and shock his head as he picked up his sword and rested it across his lap, it was a sign that he was about to walk out of the meeting and all the Kages knew it.

"Then you will learn that this old cat as you call it isn't as toothless as you think." stated Naruto as looked into the new samurai General who was trying to take the place of his father who was a living legend. "Your father's sword broke against this sword and if you attack us your people will break against our own defenses."

"You killed my father?" stated Mifune

"And I let your youngest son go free after he surrender with honor." stated Naruto as Mifune glared at the Omnikage with hate in his eyes. "I am sure you have after action reports from that battle and you know what we are capable of years earlier and we have developed new skills since then."

"Will not matter you will lose." stated Mifune

"In a way you are right." admitted Naruto "Because no one wins in a war but you will get the worst of this."

"Well it seems that we are going around in circles." stated Mei Terumi "Naruto if we give you a list of demands will you look over them, maybe we can come to an arrangement."

"We already know your likely demands and we are not going to give in to any of them." stated Naruto as he remembered Shino's report on likely demands before he left home. Most of the demands fall along the lines of them giving up all rights as people and likely going into camps.

"Then it will be war then." stated Hanabi

"Tell me, Hanabi are you willing to kill your own niece?" inquired Naruto as Hanabi blinked at the news. Naruto never waited for an answer as he turned to the Raikage "Are you willing to kill your own nephew?"

"I don't have a nephew or even a sister, she died when a demon took over her body." stated Samui's brother Atsui as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"What about my granddaughter?" inquired Onoki "Do I have a great grandchild?"

"Not yet." confirmed Naruto as he turned to Gaara. "I am sure Temari has talked to you already?"

"No actually we are supposed to have lunch tomorrow." explained Gaara

"What is the point of this?" inquired Atsui

"That your people will be going up against their own friends and family members if you are foolish enough to wage war on us." stated Naruto

"They will do their duty as ninjas and that cuts both ways Naruto." stated Hanabi "I don't think my sister will want to have anything to do with hurting her clan."

"Normally you would be correct but to go back to Mifune's line example." Stated Naruto as his voice became more ominous "Never underestimate a lioness when her cub is threatened and don't underestimate the lion either."

"I see, so my sister finally got what she always wanted." said Hanabi as Naruto nodded his head. "I believe we are done here and unless the Daimyo's work something out we will soon all be going to war."

It was a similar story a few buildings away as Ino sat before the five major daimyos however unlike Naruto which was sitting before the Kages as if not a Kage in their eyes but at least a military leader which required respect Ino was shown no respect. The only seat Ino was offered was at a low bare wood table which required her to sit cross legged, while the Daimyos sat on raised platform with a table made out imported rare hardwood inlayed with gold and silver, solid gold nameplates with the seal of each of their national seals rested in front of them.

The entire room was covered with rare redwood panels and around the top of the room were balcony seats for people to come watch. The room was originally designed by the first owners of the house as a room for bare knuckle boxing matches which explained the balcony but now a battle of different sort was taking place.

"Ino Yamanaka you are here as the Daimyo of the land of Granite." stated the Water Daimyo. "We have looked over the record of the contract you signed to buy the land of Granite. We have found that sadly you have bought the land legally and the bounce gold you gave to the former Daimyo did meet all the requirements of law you had to buy the land as a demon."

"I already knew that." stated Ino as she looked at the Daimyo, each one was dressed in flowing robes of the same colors that their Kages wore. The water Daimyo had blue robes and the Fire Daimyo had red robes on, however they had golden and silver threat on their robes and judging from the look they were mostly made of silk. Now Ino admit that she had followed the same tradition to a lesser extent she wore a black kimono made out of silk with silver highlights in the sleeves and around the waist. Even she would have guessed that while her kimono was made by a local business owner the Daimyo had custom robes from top designers which cost an arm and a leg.

"However we find that you can't call yourself a Daimyo because your position was never confirmed by this council of great Daimyo." said the Earth Daimyo in his rich dark brown robes inlayed with gold. "There for you are not the official Daimyo of the Land of Granite. Which means you are controlling the land illegal."

Ino grinned she had been briefed on this tactic and knew how to counter it.

"True, I has never confirmed by this council but I have been briefed by this council on the demons and I have also bought land from one of the major Daimyos when I bought the land of Meteors." stated Ino with a grin as the Daimyo's eyes widened. "Either one of which is confirmation of my place as Daimyo and confirmation of that we bought the land fairly."

"You do not obey any of the laws that we have passed," stated the Fire Daimyo

"I don't have to, I am the Daimyo of the land of Granite and while it isn't considered as powerful as your nations yet I have the same rights as you all." stated Ino

"Yet do you mean to challenge us?" snapped the Lightening Daimyo

"Yes, in the forms of trade, business and if need be war." confirmed Ino hoping against hope that one of these idiots would grow some brains and understand what she was talking about. "You are not the rulers of the world and like all things nations rise and fall."

Up in viewing gallery, which was open for anyone to view Kabuto stood in one of the discussion down below, the Daimyo had started making their demands of the demons and each one was unacceptable to Ino just as he expected. Everything had fallen almost perfectly into place and soon a war would start. Wars would cost money and he now controlled a large share of that and this war would destroy one of his major rivals in the gold coming out of the Land of Granite.

Ino herself had done the most to help him when she had all but said that the Land of Granite goal was to become just as powerful as the big five nations. In some ways it seemed like it already was, they had access to a large amount of gold and trade and had a small but powerful ninja force. That declaration had all but generated war since the great five daimyo could not have another nation rise to their level and take what they believed to be theirs by right.

"This is going to get very interesting," said Kabuto with a smile.
