A/N I am sorry it has taken me so long to update! Life got so crazy! I hope you enjoy this installment!

Camellia ripped her hand out of Kili's and pulled three arrows out of her quiver. Holding two of them in her right hand, she loaded one into her bow. One after another she rapidly fired toward Azog, two hitting their target. Fili was released and he began falling. Instinctively, Kili ran out and tried to catch him, the both of them hitting the ground. One of the arrows had cut open Fili's arm, but he was alive. She crumbled to the ground, her knees too weak to hold her up. She dropped her bow and threw her arms around Fili.

"Are you okay? I thought we were going to lose you!"" she cried.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She could hear Azog say something about her in his filthy language.

"We should leave now. Come on, let's go," Camellia said as she pulled the two brothers off the ground and began to run. The three returned to where they were at the beginning. Thorin had run off to face Azog, but Dwalin was still there and Bilbo must have recently gotten here. Shortly after, orcs filed into the area, leaving the five in a fight.

Shortly into the fight, Camellia ran out of arrows. Her small frame could not handle a hard hit from one of the tall orcs. She couldn't even pick up one of their discarded weapons. She was completely useless in a fist fight against them. Fear began to set in, but she heard the voice of her companion.

"Alesdair," she called. The horse head-butted his way through the crowd of orcs, giving her enough time to grab the sword she had stashed away from the troll horde. She pulled the sword from its sheath and began destroying the enemy around her. Once the area was cleared, she sheathed her sword and gathered what arrows she could from the ground. Alesdair ran up next to her and she swung herself on. "Fili, Kili, let's go. Thorin needs us!" She pulled the two dwarves onto her horse and they rode off.

Thorin was battling Azog on the frozen falls. As much as they wanted to, they could not interfere. This battle was between Thorin and Azog. When Thorin had stepped off the ice to let Azog go into the water, they thought the battle was won, but when Azog came through the ice and had knocked Thorin down, Camellia could not sit still any longer, she pulled back her bow and took aim.

"Don't."

"I can't let him die," she said, tears welling in her eyes.

"This is his battle to fight," Kili grabbed her hand and pulled her bow down. Thorin let Azog's sword plunge into his chest so he could shove his own sword into his enemy. Once Azog was dead, all three of them rushed out.

"Thorin, lay down!" Camellia commanded, pulling several things out of her side pouch. Thorin collapsed right before they could get to him. "Fili, give me your dagger!" Camellia began to remove his chest armour and clothing so she could get to his wound. "Kili, boil some water." She pulled out a small bottle of what looked like rum from her side pouch and she emptied half of it onto his wound. Thorin flinched and muffled a cry. "Sorry, sorry." Using a clean cloth from another small pouch, she poured a little more of the rum onto it and used it to clean up the area around his wound. "Fili, run this over to your brother. Drop it in the water. When it started to boil, bring all of it over here." She turned back to Thorin. "I am going to need you to stay awake. Talk to me."

"There is nothing to talk about."

"Really? There's nothing to talk about? How about you tell me about how you broke through the sickness? Or about how you just defeated your greatest enemy? Talk to me."

"It was Dwalin. He came to talk to me in the throne room. He shook some sense into me."

"And how did he do that?" She questioned as she applied pressure to his wound.

"He…"

"Yes?" Fili and Kili rushed over as fast as they could with the water. Camellia dropped a needle into the water. "Fili, Kili, talk to him. Keep him awake." She began to mutter as she stirred the water and herb mixture with a metal rod. She pulled out the long string of herbs and draped them over the exposed wound before pushing them into it. "Please keep him steady." She continued her mutterings before sticking her hand into the pot, grabbing the needle, and pulling out thread. She stitched up the wound and placed the remaining herbs on top of the needlework. She finished by wrapping his chest up tightly with cloth bandages. "Do not move. If you move, you could tear your stitches and you could die. Do not move." The rest of the company had joined them on the ice. Even Thranduil was standing off to the side. Camellia stood up and walked over to him.

"I see that the king under the mountain will survive." She skipped the pleasantries.

"We have never been on the best of terms, but I believe we can reach a truce. Especially in the event of the return of the stars." Thranduil looked down at the fiery haired girl. She handed him the necklace she found in the treasure vault. "I believe all debts are paid." She returned to her company.

"My daughter, you would have certainly made your mother proud," Keldbak said when he placed his hand upon Camellia shoulder. "Sure you ran off and made the entire kingdom go into a state of panic, but you saved a life!"

"Two actually," Fili piped up. "She saved mine too."

"Two! If only Lyaera was alive to see you now! You have made us both proud."

"We should stop worrying about that right now and help get the king under the mountain back to his mountain." The elves from the north lifted Thorin up and carried him back to the mountain. They were able to keep Thorin's back stable as they carried him over the uneven terrain.

A bed was fashioned out of planks, sheets and an old mattress from Dale. Thorin was given herbal tea to help him sleep. The people of Laketown were give a little bit more than their fair share of the gold and they were given permission to rebuild Dale instead of trying to rebuild the charred remains of their former town. Keldbak and his soldiers volunteered to help rebuild Erebor and Camellia was passed out on the floor in the Great Hall. Kili was leaning against the Great Hall wall with Camellia's head resting on his lap. Fili was tending to the fire in the fireplace and the rest of the dwarves were setting up for a feast.

Kili watched Camellia as she slept. Her hair was a lot longer than it was when they first set out. Her face was bruised and cut and there was still some dirt here and there. She was too tired from the day's activities to bother to clean up. Her hair was so tangled that when he went to run his hands through it, they got stuck and he had to stop before he woke her up.

"She's a strong one, isn't she," Keldbak said as he took a seat next to Kili. "How did she cut herself?"

"She tried to take down Azog by herself."

"Of course she did. I don't think we ever got formally introduced. I am Keldbak, Camellia's father."

"I'm Kili."

"Ah, yes, you're Dis's son." Camellia stirred and sat up.

"Hey, what are you doing here?"

"I thought I would introduce myself to your friend here." She grumbled and leaned herself up against the wall before closing her eyes again.

"Father, he is more than just a friend." She yawned. "I need to go take a bath." She kissed Kili on the cheek before leaving the room. An awkward silence fell between the two when she left. Kili did not know what to say and Keldbak did not offer up anything either.

"So, you're Camellia's father?" Dwalin asked when he approached several moments later. "The lassie was something else."

"Yes, my daughter can be quite a handful, but, it seems, she found her place. Growing up, all she ever did was cause trouble."

"She caused a lot of trouble here to," Thorin said, coming into the room.

"You shouldn't be out of bed," Dwalin said, rushing over to him and trying to coax him out of the room.

"It's alright. I cleared him." Camellia re-entered the room, hair wet and draped over her shoulder. "He still needs to take it easy, but he should be alright to join us for dinner, although, if you eat too much, you could tear them, so, pace yourself." Her skin was cleaned up, but it just made her cuts and bruises more prominent.

"Camellia, where did you find your mother's sword?" Keldbak asked.

"In a troll horde. She told me she lost it on one of her adventures."

"That is your mother's blade?" Kili asked.

"That why I wanted to take it. I knew it was hers and I wanted to bring it home to her."

"How tall was your mother?" Fili asked.

"Moon elves are the tallest of the elves." Keldbak responded, "A lot taller than any of the travellers I have met."

"Are they on good terms with the woodland elves?" Thorin asked, disgust sneaking up in his voice.

"All of Forodwaith is on good terms with them," Camellia stated, pulling her fingers through her tangled hair. "But I don't know how."

"You have never gotten along with anyone, daughter." Keldbak turned his head toward the group. "She has always gotten on better with the animals."

"Enough about me," she stated as she walked over to the table, dragging Kili with her, "let's eat."

The dwarves and their new elven friends sat around the table together. They were war-torn and beaten, their bodies exhausted from the day's events, but it all seemed like a distant memory when chatter arose as food was shared. The war was over, the kingdom reclaimed, and all of the company that Camellia first set out with was alive. In that moment, everything was alright.

Camellia was happier on this day than she was so many months ago when she first set out on this adventure, she only wished her mother was here to see it.
