Chapter 74 Sister vs Sister

For a moment, nothing seemed to happen as the ninjas from the Leaf and the forces from the Land of Granite stood across from each other from each other in the middle of a small farming village. While the civilians where rushing for cover the ninjas and warriors stood strangle still as if wondering who would make the first move. Finally, a kunai went flying toward Hinata from some unknown ninja. Hinata raised one of her swords, which blocked the kunai with ease.

It was as if someone had blew a starting whistle as the granite archers and crossbowmen opened fire on the ninjas. The ninjas had no real training on what to do against archers since arrows where faster then any kunai and harder to see when coming straight on. This made the archers extremely dangerous to the ninjas but those same archers lacked combat skills up close. Which was why the ninjas had to get in close but to do so they had to get past their counterparts from the Land of Granite.

"Fireball justu!" yelled a Leaf ninja as he sucked in a large amount of air before expelling a giant fireball. The granite ninjas moved out of the way allowing the fireball to engulf a small house.

"Chiasa, Jun, Marai…run, run now!" ordered Lee as he pulled out a pair of tonfas, the wooden staff that ran from its holder down the length of his forearms was made of almost solid oak. Most of the time oak would be enough and any heaver would affect the speed that someone could spin them around however Lee was different so his tonfas where in fact metal rods with a wooden cover to hid the metal under the wood.

"Lee-sensie!" yelled Chiasa as an arrow passed right past Lee and landed right in front of her foot.

"Run!" yelled Lee as his students turn and ran for their lives as battle began all around them.

Out on the field Sakura had moved off to take care of charging ANBU while Hinata headed straight toward her sister. A battlefield is the last place to find fairness and so it was here as a young jonin who had only been promoted from Chunin days early tried to be a hero by killing the demon sister of the Hokage. He aimed his spear right for Hinata's chest but Hinata saw it coming miles away.

The spear point went flying forward as Hinata gracefully moved out of the way, then using the hooks of her swords she trapped the staff. Without even using much force the Aldhard blade cut straight through the oak staff breaking it into three section. The Jonin's eyes widened as he watched splinters fill the air, it would be among the last thing he would ever do.

As she went down on one knee, Hinata brought the back edge of the swords down on the Jonin's leg. Her blades cut through flesh and bone as if it was paper. Within seconds, the man had lost both of his legs and he fell backwards blood spraying everywhere as he went. When he landed, he was looking up at the sky as life began flowing out of him. Hinata stood back up as she stepped over his body she brought one of her swords around cutting through his spinal column ending his life in as painless way as possible.

Hinata turned her gaze toward her sister which for a moment stood transfixed, not totally believing what she was seeing. Her sweet-hearted sister who wouldn't harm anyone stood outlined by a burning house, blood of a leaf ninja covered her cloths and her swords. Her Byuckugan eyes where locked on her and she looked more like a demon from hell then that shy little girl who used to faint whenever Naruto would talk to her.

"Your really are a demon now aren't you?" inquired Hanabi

"Any mother protecting her child is a demon to those attacking," stated Hinata "I am protecting not only my child but Sakura-chans and Ino-chans as well. I will personally kill you and every other Leaf ninja here if I have to."

"I believe you." admitted Hanabi as she took a breath "However you can't win."

"Watch me." corrected Hinata as she spun booth of her twin hooks, the flash light coming off the moving blade in combination with the simple movement naturally pulled Hanabi's eyes. That is when she threw the blades up and ran through hand signs.

"Fire style, fire storm justu." said Hinata as she pulled in a deep breath of air before expelling a giant fireball however instead of going out it stayed in front of her. For a moment, Hanabi was confused and then she saw the wind chakra gathering around her sister's hand. She grabbed her swords and instantly the chakra traveled up the blade to the round tips. Hinata then hit the fireball with her wind chakra adding it to the fireball. The fireball turned into a giant ball of twisting flames, which went rocketing toward her.

"Earth style, earth geyser." said Hanabi as she slammed her hand on the ground. Instantly a geyser of muddy brown water shot out of the ground and since water was the natural enemy of fire put out Hinata's firestorm justu. The earth geyser was a combination of Hanabi's two natural chakra types Earth and water.

"Firestorm justu, that is from the Land of Lightening." stated Hanabi as the fire and water died away. "Not even our ANBU know that."

"Cross training." Explained Hinata as Hanabi grimaced a bit, they did have ninjas from every nation so they would know almost every justu from the major nations.

A few yards away Sakura was in a fight of her own as seven Leaf ANBU ninjas all went after her, she leaned back to avoid a kunai only to slam her fist into the ground. The moment she did the whole ground began to break apart sending her attackers flying. One of the ANBU had actually fought along side Sakura during the last war and somehow the effect area from Sakura's fist had actually grown. The force of the shockwaves actually brought down some of the homes as their wooden beams snapped.

"Die! DEMON!" yelled an ANBU as he jumped toward Sakura with a kunai in hand. Sakura simply grinned as she raised her armored covered fist. Nearby Lee watched as Sakura's fist made contact with the ANBU's face, the mask actually vaporized into dust and the face under him turned into mush. The ANBU went flying past Lee and crashed through a nearby house before being stopped by the brick fireplace.

Lee turned and looked at the ANBU, his face was mush and was clearly dead in fact Lee was wondering if like the mask the ANBU's skull hadn't turned to dust as well.

"Get in the fight!" yelled a nearby Jonin "or are you traitor?"

Lee lowered his head as he realized that if he didn't fight his friend then his family would pay the price back in the Lee. So he made the hardest choice he had ever made, he dropped his training weights which caused a thump loud enough to cause Sakura to look at him.

"I am sorry." said Lee, Sakura must have known what he said as nodded her head telling him it was ok. Then he bolted forward and tried hit Sakura's head with his tonfas but the wood actually shattered as it hit the Aldhard coverings. The solid steel under the wood stayed strong but Lee could see a cut into the bar.

"I understand Lee." said Sakura, as suddenly an 9 inch long blade shot out of the covering around her forearm. Cutting into the side of Lee's arm, the blade was so sharp that it could of cut diamonds.

"Shit." cursed Lee as he looked at the hidden blade; he had seen this type of weapon before at one of the weapons shows that Tenten was always dragging them to when they came across one while on mission.

"Sorry Lee." Said Sakura as she brought her other hand around and hit Lee in the chest with her fist, it was clearly not as hard as the ANBU because he would have died if she had. It still sent Lee flying through a house before landing in the middle of the street on the far side of the house.

Hinata and her sister where having a close up fight as Hinata twin hook swords kept her sister at slightly longer distance then Hanabi was used to. The swords where cutting into the kunia and within moments she had to let it drop. The moment Hanabi dropped her kunia Hinata brought both swords around to end it in a single strike.

Hanabi ducked under the twin hooks of her sister swords and she got inside of the defenses of Hinata. She had an opening for the first time and she was about to take it, thanks to her byakugan she knew where the chakra points where and she moved to bring them down. With them down she would gain an edge, she gathered chakra at the point of her fingers and quickly stabbed at fifty points on her sister's body. For a normally person it would be enough to shut down almost of the chakra to her right side. Hinata stumbled backwards and for a moment, there was no chakra flowing in Hinata's right arm.

"I win sister." said Hanabi

"you think so?" inquired Hinata

"I know so, you have no chakra network on one side. I hit fifty of the 361 points in your body and it only a take 162 to kill a person." said Hanabi with a grin as she saw the demon chakra begin to flow again inside her sister's body. It was going through the points that she had just shut down.

"Did you forget about Neji's and Naruto's fight when they where genin?" inquired Hinata "Demon chakra can reopen the chakra points, so you have gained nothing. Maybe if you had tried a kunia but my cloths just like all of ours is made out Aldhard and I have solid Aldhard plating under that. Your kunia would likely break."

"Shit." cursed Hanabi as Hinata grinned before moving in to press her attack up close. Hanabi had to back up as Hinata's swords came down and almost cut off one of her arms. "Told you, you can't win this fight."

Lee opened his eyes and looked straight up at the smoke filled skies, his chest was hurting as he sat up and looked around. All around him the Lee ninjas where falling back under the attack from the smaller forces from the Land of granite. Lee watched as multiple kunia bounced off the armor of one of the Granite ninjas before she put down the man who threw them with a single kunia of her own.

As he moved through the streets, multiple ANBU and regular ninjas went flying past him, they were not moving on their own but by the blows from Sakura. He turned the corner only to see a street battle between multiple ninjas and Sakura. It appeared to be a deadly dance of some kind as Sakura gracefully moved out of the way of each of their attacks while they tried to do the same with her.

Once a blade came crashing down Sakura's back but the cloths must have been Aldhard since it was the sword itself and not Sakura which was cut in half. The jonin you tried that was rewarded with Sakura turning around on him and delivering multiple stabs to the chest and lower body with her hidden blade. The blade returned to its holder as Sakura ran through hand signs.

"Water style, crashing typhoon." said Sakura as a massive wall of water formed up around Sakura before rushing down a road. The road was full of ninjas running away from the battlefield; they jumped up toward the roofs of the homes only to come in view of the archers.

"This isn't a fight." said Lee as he stood up, and headed as fast as he could from the battlefield. "It is a slaughter."

Back in the main square Hinata and Hanabi where still locked in an epic showdown but most of the Leaf ninjas who had once been at Hanabi's side had run. Only a few remained and those who did where being overrun by the granite forces.

"Fire style, firestorm justu!" yelled Hinata as Hanabi growled a bit as she ran through hand signs once again.

"Earth style, earth geyser." said Hanabi as once again the two Justus clashed against each other. The force of their clash sprayed hot water everywhere drenching the Hokage with water and causing large puddles to form on the ground. In fact she was standing in water that went almost up to the top of her shoes. There was steam in the air as well but it made no matter to Hanabi as she saw through it with her byakugan. That is when she saw it her sister was in the middle of a backflip for some reason as she gathered chakra on the edge of her swords. To make matters even stranger she was holding onto the hook end of the swords so the two small points below the handles where pointing down.

"What is she doing?" thought Hanabi as she wondered why her sister would risk deep cuts to her hands, the thin gloves likely didn't provide much protection and even with chakra the blade would cut into her palm. She didn't understand then she heard the sound of chirping birds and saw small flashes of lightening around Hinata's hands and blades.

"Chidori." stated Hanabi as she looked at the water below her. She did not have time as Hinata speared the ground with her swords sending the lightening into the water. The water carried the electrical charge of her chidori and it headed straight for her sister. There was nothing she could do as the electrical charge messed with her body causing muscles to spasm.

She could not even scream as the spasm caused her jaw to slam shut so hard she felt at least two teeth crack under the force. When the charge finally she was still stunned and she almost did not see it coming.

Hinata who had stayed airborne to avoid getting fried from her own justu in the water hand landed and had hooked the two round parts of her swords together and it was coming toward her. Hanabi jumped back, it was not enough as the sharp Aldhard blade tip came down from the top right side of her head. The blade cut a deadly path as it traveled down her face, across her right eye and nose, before going down her left cheek. For a moment the blade didn't bite into her flesh but it then cut into left shoulder from her collar bone before finally leaving under her arm pit.

The Aldhard blade bite deep and cleanly into Hanabi's skin instantly the long gash began to spill out a massive amount of blood. To Hanabi's amazement at first, there was no pain but then a wave of unending pain rushed over body and she lost all vision in her right eye.

"Lady Hokage!" yelled a voice in the distance, Hanabi then looked around the field as best as she could with only one working eye. That is when she saw what the state of the rest of her forces where, everyone was either on the edge of running or where already running.

"Fall back!" yelled Hanabi

"I don't think so!" yelled Hinata as she moved to kill the leader of her enemy, to kill the Hokage, to kill her own sister. She spun her swords around again but just as her blades where about to strike again, her sister was replaced with a log and smoke.

"Shit." cursed Hinata as she spun her swords around removing her sister's blood from the blades. She looked around only to see Sakura had moved from beating her enemies to dust to trying to heal those wounded. She then turned her vision toward the east only to see that the Leaf forces where in full retreat.

"Lady Hinata." said an officer as Hinata blinked

"Yes."

"What shall we do?" inquired the officer

"Keep pressure on them so that they can't reform but as long as they are running let them run and tend to our wounded and prepare for our role in the master plan." explained Hinata as she thought about it, they would likely have to move out within a two hours. "Any word from Naruto?"

"The Onikage and his force should be hitting the main body of the Leaf forces in half an hour or so," said the officer as Hinata nodded her head before looking down her hands. The palms had cuts in them which she had to get look at sometime but it was worth the pain to carry out her plan.

"Hinata-chan, let me," said Sakura as she walked up and started to apply healing chakra to her sister wife's hands. The chakra was warm as the pain began to fade away, the natural demon healing ability helped but it was mostly the chakra. "Did you get your sister?"

"No, but I almost got her." explained Hinata as she explained the wound her swords had done.

"Damn, that is a bad wound," stated Sakura as she thought about how she would treat that wound. It would be nearly impossible to heal it totally and depending on how deep the cut was, it would cost her at least an eye if not her life depending on the blood vessels which were cut. "Well this should be fine but you will have tender skin there for a while."

"Well we have done our part now it is up to our husband," said Hinata as Sakura nodded her head.

"Lady Hinata, Lady Sakura we have found some prisoners. Most of them are chunin and genins." explained an ninja as both Namikaze women looked at the ninja.

"You know what to do with them, why did you come to us?" inquired Sakura

"One claims to be a Mirai Sarutobi." explained the ninja as both Sakura and Hinata blinked "If I remember correctly that is your sensei's daughter correct."

"Yes, alright make sure she is ok and I would like to see her once we get things in order here." ordered Hinata

"Alright, your good here I am going to go look after the other wounded." Reported Sakura as both of the shared a brief kiss before moving out.

Well I know this chapter is shorter than normal but I think I did very good with the fight between Hinata and Hanabi and that is what I wanted this chapter to focus on. Until next time please keep reading. Thanks Wilkins75.
