Jessie and James found 5 open seats for them and the three children on the groom's side. The chairs were quickly filling up from the front with dozens of friends of Ash, trainers, and Gym Leaders. A whole row near the front was occupied by most of the Kanto gym leaders including Brock and a very pregnant Misty. Misty was busy chatting with some of the other gym leaders who had recently become parents themselves, briefly stopping mid-sentence to pull sharply on Brock's ear after he had been looking over at the large group of former Tripokalon contestants who had just sat down on the bride's side.

The kids could hardly stay seated. Rowan was reading a tattered Kanto guide book and pointing at various guests at the wedding, excitedly chattering on to Ross, who sighed in exasperation. "Who needs to know all that stuff? All you need to know is how to battle!"

Rochelle looked up at her parents. "You battled at the Kanto gyms right? When you traveled with Ash Ketchum?"

"Um, yes, you could say that." Jessie said with some exaggerated confidence.

"I suppose." added James worriedly.

"Why don't you have badges then? Does that mean you lost every battle?" she pried.

Jessie and James couldn't cover the shock on their faces and stuttered. Jessie recovered first.

"Of course we have badges! We just never showed them to you!"

"Yes, that's right." James added, then made a mental note to make some replicas out of bottlecaps later. Something caught his eye in the distance. Meowth was in the bushes, holding the brown lockbox from the car. Meowth caught James's concerned stare and started waving and motioning frantically for him to come over. James poked Jessie in the shoulder and pointed.

"Grr! That cat! He's going to get us kicked out!" she fumed, starting over to him.

"Uh, stay here?" James stammered awkwardly as he followed, concerned.

"Meowth, what in the world are you doing?" Jessie hissed. James looked at him trying to look annoyed but still looking mostly concerned.

"You guys are not gonna believe who I saw over there making the biggest heist of the century! They're gonna take all of the pokeballs!"

"And what do you want us to do? Call Officer Jenny and let her handle it!" Jessie huffed.

Meowth looked at James. He shrugged apologetically. "It's not our job to stop Pokemon heists, or even start them for that matter anymore. I'm a family man now. It would be best to let Jenny handle it."

"Now go away, you'll get us in trouble!" Jessie made a shoo motion with her hand. She turned to walk away and Meowth clung to her dress frantically making her growl at him for even THINKING of touching her dress. He spoke with desperation.

"Did Officer Jenny ever stop US successfully? And what about da twerp's wedding? Dis kinda emergency situation would ruin the whole day!"

Jessie and James looked back at the altar and the crowd of people thoughtfully.

"We've ruined enough of his days…"

"And he's saved plenty of ours…."

Jessie and James looked at each other. Jessie sighed. "This counts as a wedding gift. Let's go, Team!"

The three of them ran off, Meowth leading the way.

"Everything is going according to plan, Boss."

A mobile phone displayed a shadowy image of none other than Team Rocket's boss, Giovanni. A blond haired woman spoke confidently to the phone.

"We have taken possession of pokemon belonging to the most powerful trainers in the Pokemon world. And after the wedding starts, the coast will be clear to clean out Professor Oak's entire laboratory of both Pokemon and invaluable resources. "

She grinned, and her violet eyes flickered with excitement.

"Good work. I knew I could count on my best agents. You have always consistently delivered good results, Cassidy….and….uh…"

"Butch." the man said in his deep, raspy voice with mild annoyance.

"Ah yes. Excellent work."

"Thank you, sir. We will send Truck 1 shortly."

"I am looking forward to receiving it." The screen went black.

"If I'm his best agent, how come he can't remember my name?"

"Obviously it's because I'm the best agent. You just happened to be on my team as sort of a backup agent."

Butch rolled his eyes. How he had managed to survive this long on a team with her was certainly a testament to his patience. For him, this heist meant perhaps he would finally be able to break free and make his name known.

Cassidy reached up to pull the back shutters of the truck down, and jumped back when two figures jumped down in front of them. Her heart stopped for a moment. They had been found out!

"Prepare for trouble!"

"And make it double!"

Butch and Cassidy were silent and motionless, as if they were looking at ghosts. Well for them, they may as well be, Jessie and James had been essentially dead to them since their unexplained disappearance. All kinds of rumors had flown around the HQ, none of them proved or resolved in over 10 years.

Jessie and James smirked. Finally, they would get the ultimate revenge against their longtime rivals. But first, the important business.

"To protect the world from-MMPH!"

Jessie, James, and Meowth were instantly enveloped in complete darkness, contained in something soft but impenetrable. They were in one of the big black bags. Meowth instantly swiped at anything he could, only succeeding in scratching Jessie and James, as evidenced by their yelps of pain.

"Ow! Watch it!"

"What are you doing?"

"Tryin to get outta here!"

Cassidy laughed. "You think a Meowth's Fury Swipes will get you out of our patented capture devices? Those bags have been lab-tested, they can contain a Dragonite's Hyper Beam!"

Butch and Cassidy grunted as they lifted up the bag and hoisted it into the truck.

"Won't the boss be surprised when he finds this special capture!" Butch exclaimed.

Cassidy laughed evilly. "I wonder what he'll do to them."

Jessie, James and Meowth all heard the back of the truck slam shut, and their hearts felt as if they had sunk into their stomachs.
