Well here's the next chapter,

Disclaimer: I NO OWN

Let's go.

Ron POV:

Finally one of my favorite times of day lunch, right next to dinner and breakfast. Harry, Hermione, and I are talking about all the strange events that seem to be surrounding the exchange students. I mean, one of them is able to scare Professor Bins. I keep on saying that the Percy kid shouldn't have been able to summon all those Merman, but Hermione and Harry say it is because he is part Merman so it is explainable.

"Seriously Hermione it's like he summoned all the mer-people in the lake." (Yes he did)

"Come on Ron it was probably just a small portion that was curious on who was calling them, I mean I heard that Annabeth, the cat girl," I got to really remember their names. "Told the other exchange students that Hagrid wasn't saying what he thought and he was going to eat them."

"Well what about the rumors about what happened when the Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws had Herbology?"

"Ron do you ever listen, Professor Sprout explained that the flowers reacted that way because she is a Veela."

"What about you Harry? What do you think?"

"I don't know, it is kind of strange that as soon as they get here weird things start to happen. I mean the teachers seem to not want to anger any of them. And always look at Percy and Annabeth with pity like they have been through more than anyone else."

"Maybe they're Death Eaters, I mean it makes sense. The teachers are scared of them because they work for you-know-who."

We finally reach the Great Hall, I can't wait to eat, and I hope they have some shepherd's pie.

We sit close to the exchange students and again they throw some of their food into the fire, I mean how can they do that. How can they still be wasting perfectly good food? I don't understand.

"Ron, Ron, RON!"

"What?"

"I have been trying to get your attention, we have to head to potions, lunch is almost over."

"Seriously Hermione lunch isn't over yet, and you already want to get to class."

"Yes let's go, now."

(In the Dungeons in the Potion class room)

We are sitting in the cold, damp, dank dungeon, I mean class room.

Snape walks in "As always there will be no pointless wand waving or incantations in this class."

He turns towards Harry and me and with more venom says "Some of you will not be taking this class next year, but does not mean you should not take this class seriously."

Well this is going to be a fun year, well at least I won't have to deal with Snape anymore after this year, only if I get detention and it is with him.

"Today we will be working on making the Draught of Peace, if you have done the summer reading," Again he looked towards me and Harry, "you should know that this relieves anxiety and agitation. Turn to page 213 in your textbooks. All the ingrediants are in the cupboard over there." He waves his wand and the storeroom opens. He turns toward the exchange students and says "Expect for you two."

He points to I think its Percy and Annabeth, yes it's them, the fish boy and cat girl. "According to the transcripts that your previous school sent over, you two are way above the level of these students. After looking over the records, you Annabeth are at seventh year level, so you will be making Wit-sharpening Potion." He waves his wand at the end of the hall and another storeroom opens.

Then he turns to Percy and said "And you, according to your school, you are actually at the level to proctor the OWL's and NEWTs for the potions subject. So for the next six months you will be trying to make Felix Felicis or liquid luck. If you can do this, instead of taking the potion NEWTs and OWLs, you will help proctor them."

What how can one an American exchange student be at that level, he must be really smart to be at that level. (No, but he is something else)

Shit I wasted time I better get started on this potion I already started wasting time, I open to page 213, and read the instructions.

1. Add powdered moonstone until the potion turns green.

2. Stir until the potion turns blue.

3. Add powdered moonstone until the potion turns purple.

4. Allow to simmer until the potion turns pink.

5. Add syrup of hellebore until the potion turns turquoise.

6. Allow to simmer until the potion turns purple.

7. Shake powdered porcupine quills vigorously until they are ready and then add until the potion turns red.

8. Stir until the potion turns orange.

9. Add more porcupine quills until the potion turns turquoise.

10. Allow to simmer till the potion turns purple.

11. Add powdered unicorn horn until the potion turns pink.

12. Stir until the potion turns red.

13. Allow to simmer until the potion turns purple.

14. Add more powdered moonstone until the potion turns grey.

15. Allow the potion to simmer until it turns orange.

16. Add more powdered porcupine quills until the potion turns white.

Well I better get started, I start putting the powdered moonstone into the water, it turns to a greenish color, I guess that's good enough.

Next I start stirring and the potion turns a blueish color, more close to cyan, but that is techniquealy blue.

Ok, now I add more powdered moonstone, until it turns purple, which I start to do, but it doesn't turn purple. So I add more and yet again it doesn't turn purple. So I add more, and it starts to turn a dark blue.

I look around to see where everyone is at, of course Hermione's is almost perfect, Harry seems to be having a little trouble he is a couple of steps ahead of me, his potion is a weird reddish-orange color.

The exchange students are weird, Thalia's seem to be a constant sky blue no matter what she does, Nico's is black. And Leo's is bubbling like it is under too much heat.

There is a loud bang and we see that Seamus' potion exploded in his face, again. I swear he is cursed, I mean *BOOOOOM* What the Bloody Hell the room actually shook.

Every one turns to where the sound came from and we see that not only did Leo's potion explode, but so did his cauldron. There were bits and pieces everywhere, somehow the only one injured was Leo, Snape walked over. And said "While I take Mr. Valdez to the hospital wing you shall continue to work on your potions, I will leave Mr. Malfoy," Of flippin' course he leaves that git Malfoy in charge. "And Mr. Jackson in charge, if anything goes wrong with your potion you shall go inform Mr. Jackson I will be back and then I will continue the lesson."

With that Snape lead Leo to the hospital wing, I look down and see that my potion is a very bright pink, and starting to turn a whitish color, shit, I better continue. So I turn off the heat and continue in by adding the syrup of hellebore. And the potion turns a blueish green color, like Percy's scales. I guess that is turquoise.

I turn it up so it can simmer. Snape walks back into the room, looks at my potion and sneers.

I look down and see that I let it simmer a bit too long and now it is turning violet instead of purple.

(I am skipping to the end of the brewing portion of the class so I don't have to do each step)

I look down at my potion instead of the stark white, I have a grayish color, of course Snape is walking around looking at potions. While he was gone, the git Malfoy ran around making sure all the Slytherins potions were perfect. Snape said only if something goes, wrong and nothing happened when he was gone. So of course the Slytherins all have whitish potions, the Gryffindors have a rainbow of colors, Hermione has a stark white one, Neville like me has a gray one, Harry has a gray one also but it looks closer to white.

I decided to sneak a peek at the exchange student's potions, Thalia's was somehow a silvery white, while the entire time it was that sky blue, and Nico's is a pure black. Leo of course doesn't have one since he just got out of the Hospital wing.

Percy's somehow already has a golden potion, I mean it is supposed to take at least six months to brew that potion how can he be done already. And Annabeth has a Dark-orange color. I guess what Snape said about them being advanced is true.

Snape of course doesn't say anything bad about the Slytherins potions, and as he passes the Gryffindors you can hear him taking points off left and right. I will have to ask Hermione how many he took off. It is usually the first thing she starts ranting about when we talk about Potions class.

He walks in front of me, tell me Mr. Weasley are you color blind, you seem unable to tell the difference between green and neon, pink and fuchsia, purple and indigo. If you could, you would've have at least a more decent potion. Like the Slytherins, 5 points from Gryffindor."

He walks over to Harry and since Harry is sitting right next to me I hear what Snape tells him. "Well, Mr. Potter, tell me what step did you skip." Harry looks down and then says "I didn't let it simmer until it turned orange sir, I just added the porcupine quills"

"Well then Mr. Potter, since you know what you did wrong, I will only take ten points from Gryffindor."

He looks over Hermione's and says nothing, he then goes to Thalia's and says "I guess you presence has influenced the potion, once I test it I will know more, the same goes for you Mr. Di Angelo."

Wait what, Nico's is probably the furthest from white, yet he seems to have a better potion then me, Harry and the rest of the Gryffindors'.

He walks over to Annabeth, and says "I didn't expect anything less, you have a perfect wit-sharpening potion, your mother should be proud."

"And you MR. Jackson, have finished a potion that normally takes some of the most advance potion makers six months and several failed attempts to make in a little over one hour. You are no longer required to go to this class, and I will inform Dumbledore that I have found an extra proctor for the Potion NEWTs and OWLs."

I might be able to actually pass the OWLs, if I can get Percy to be my friend, and convince him to go extremely easy on me. I might be an Aurora yet.

Hermione glares at me like she knows what I am thinking, I really hope she doesn't catch on to this, I also think I am not the only one think this. Hopefully I can get to him before anyone else does.

The Bell finally tolls and we can get out of this hell hole, of a class and take a break before we head to Herbology. I heard that we are dealing with an ancient Greek flower, what is with this year and the ancient Greek culture, what's next? Are they going to tell us the gods are real and that they have kids with muggles?

That is it for this chapter.

I noticed I forgot to add something, from now on if something has a * next to it, it is something I have made up. For example the myth about the Flower of Aphrodite.

Next time will be Herbology and maybe the monster attack if it isn't too long.

Until next time.

The King of Hades.
