Sorry for not updating in a while I'll try and make this chapter longer.

As always the disclaimer is first

I do not own HP, PJO, or HOO.

For those who don't remember thanks to Dumbledore slipping the golden trio the invisibility cloak, they were able to watch the demi-gods fight a drakon.

So on with the story

Hermione POV:

We followed Annabeth into the castle, the eerie silence sacred the robe's off of me. How did Annabeth know where she is going, she just headed in one direction with a determined look on her face. The others followed her like this was normal. After a while I couldn't take it anymore and asked probably not in the nicest way. Ok it was very condescending.

"Do you even know where you are going?"

She turned and glared at me the look on her face said two things one: of course I know where I am going. The other said don't you dare question me. She looked read to draw her sword out and impale me with it. If it wasn't for Percy who slipped his hand into hers and whispered something in her ear. By the look on everyone else's faces said that he was the only one that could do that.

After following her a little bit longer we ended up in front of a statue of a gargoyle, I knew we were in front of Dumbledore's office it was in Hogwarts A History. I should've guessed she read it, I mean I spent the 1st day talking to her about it. But how did she expect to get in the password will change whenever the headmaster wanted to.

She was staring at the statue and said "Lemon Drop" The gargoyle moved and looked at her, but refused to get off the pedestal, like it was told even if this person said the right password not to move. Annabeth stared the gargoyles right in the eye and raised an eyebrow that pretty much said I know I am right and move or I will move you. The gargoyle moved and a winding staircase appeared, and started to move like an escalator. Annabeth was the first to step on, followed by Percy, then Nico, Thalia. Frank pushed us so that we weren't bring up the rear.

I think they did this so we couldn't run away, Harry went first then me then Ron. Frank and Hazel were behind us which means that Piper, Leo, and Jason were taking up the rear. We walked into the room to find Dumbledore in his chair behind his desk, McGonagall was also here standing next to him. Percy was sitting in a big chair, he had Annabeth in his lap, if you looked closely she wasn't sitting in his lap, he was restraining her.

Once every one was in the room, Dumbledore spoke "So may I ask what this unexpected visit is for?"

Annabeth was the one to speak, this made no sense they look to Percy like he is their Leader but to Annabeth when they need a plan.

"Well first I thought we agreed to keep them in the dark for a little while, not let them know when the first monster attack."

What were they talking about, they were hiding things from us, what else is new. I bet if I plan what I say correctly I can get the information I need to figure all this out. I decide the first step would be to figure out what everyone's reaction to this was and see if I can get any clues from how they react to this conversation.

Sadly the only one really paying attention was Annabeth, Percy was playing with the curls in her hair, and Leo had Fawkes on his shoulder and was building smaller versions of all the muggle trinkets on Dumbledore's desk. Jason, Piper, Hazel and Frank, were just talking amongst themselves. Nico said something about going to deal with ghosts, and just walked into a dark shadow in the corner of the room. Thalia just looked bored, pulled out a knife out of her shoe, and a sharpening block out of her pocket and started sharpening the blade.

Annabeth stared down Dumbledore, "We agreed not to let them know, we discussed this what do you think you are doing?"

Dumbledore for once looked like he was picking his words carefully, like if he said something wrong it could get him and everyone else hurt. That didn't make sense what could the smartest, most powerful wizard of all time be afraid of.

He then spoke in a calm manner, and treading very carefully like one word would allow Voldemort to win. "Well Ms. Chase, after speaking to your Headmistress, and Asst. Headmaster, we decided that it would be better if at the reason you were hear knew something about it. Not everything, but what you deem necessary."

Annabeth rose an eyebrow, like a mom showing they don't believe their child's story she replied with "Well why weren't we informed of this, it could have been extremely dangerous, for them, especially if there were more than one of them. What would you have done if instead of one there were three drakons. We can't protect the golden trio and fight the drakons, what would you have done if Harry got hurt then who would fulfill the prophecy?"

"I knew there was only one, because I was the one who added the extra barriers. And after hearing your…" Why was he taking a break like trying to find the right words? "Records I knew one couldn't have been a problem."

Annabeth had a twinkle in her eye that said I caught you. A small smile spread across her face and said "When you told us about the barriers, you said that it will only tell you if something broke through, not how man, or what it was. We were lucky that it was only one and that it was a drakon. And there is no way you would have known that it was only one, and that we could easily take care of it unless you let it." She stood and said the next thing with anger underlining her voice.

"You let it in so you they," Pointing to us "could have a better chance on figuring out who we were, and why we are here."

Her gray eyes started to swirl, like a storm brewing and you could start to see the anger in her face, she opened her mouth to say something else, but a tapping at the window interrupted her.

When we looked towards the window, and sitting on the window ledge was Annabeth's large gray owl, with a letter in its mouth, and next to it was Percy's small Pegasus with a package attached to it.

McGonagall opened the window, the owl flew in and dropped the letter in Annabeth's hand before perching on her shoulder. The Pegasus dropped the package in Percy's lap, of course Annabeth pulled a knife out of nowhere and opened a very official looking letter. Percy just ripped open his package and inside was a Tupperware box filled with? What was that blue cookies?

Why in the world would he have blue cookies? As soon as he opened the bin the smell of freshly baked cookies filled the room. Instantly he was swarmed by all the exchange students grabbing at the bin, by the end everyone had at least three, Percy had five, Annabeth had 4 and she convinced them save Nico two. Something about snoozing and loosing? I don't know.

Annabeth handed the letter to the others to read over she didn't look happy, after they all read it over. They turned to Percy like they were awaiting his decision. He looked at Annabeth and they had a silent at the end it seemed they came to an understanding.

Annabeth turned to us and said "In our school we are trained to fight monster, Dumbledore believed that Voldemort" McGonagall, and Ron visibly shuddered at the name. "is recruiting monsters, that are not easily defeated by magic. So he sent to our school asking for people to help protect Hogwarts. So our headmistress decided us nine would be enough to protect everyone in this school."

The way she said it was as if it wasn't a full truth, that it had some aspects that weren't true. She turned to Dumbledore and started speaking to him in that other language. Percy rolled his eyes and continued eating his cookies, I guess one of his parents enchanted the container to keep them fresh until they get here.

I turned to double check what everyone was doing, Frank turned to a bulldog and curled on Hazel's lap who was petting him. Piper and Jason were falling asleep on each other and excused themselves and headed to bed, with Hazel, and dog Frank following back to the dorms.

Leo was once again building his own replicas of the trinkets on Dumbledore's desk this time the magical ones. Thalia went back to sharpening her knife, and Percy seemed to have pulled out his wand and was playing with some water he conjured.

Wait he was doing silent magic, he wasn't saying any incantation, how is this possible. Hogwarts is supposed to be the best school of witchcraft and wizardry in the world, and we don't start learning that till next year. I didn't even recognize any wand movements, and I read about almost all the spells on element based magic and none of them matched.

Annabeth seemed to read the surprise on my face and elbowed Percy in the gut. Causing him to stop the wand movements but the water floated there for a couple of seconds then fell like it remembered the concept of gravity.

It splashed on the floor, with McGonagall gave a quick wave of her wand the water evaporated. After a little a bit of silence Dumbledore spoke "It's getting late, off to bed with you lot. McGonagall would you mind walking down to the dungeons and get Mr. Di Angelo." And with that McGonagall left out the door, Dumbledore turned to Percy and Annabeth and said

"I believe the ministry is going to have some… visitors soon that might try and plead your case."

Annabeth and Percy both visibly brightened at this and followed us out the door and back to the dorm.

(LINE BREAK, we finally get to see Nico and the Ghosts)

Meanwhile in the Dungeon:

Nico POV

I headed down the hall to end of the dungeons, I open the door and inside were all the ghost of Hogwarts. THERE WERE SO MANY! I started to feel my anger take over, how could I not know about this. I AM THE GHOST KING!

The Shadows crawled up the walls and the room got colder, the ghost seemed to get paler if possible. Oh they knew I was mad, not just mad, I was downright furious. They all turned towards me, fear clear in their eyes.

Uncle Binns floated forward, and said "Now Nikki no need to get mad."

"What are you talking about, of course I am mad, how can you be here, and I not know about it."

"Nikki, Hades knows of our presence and Hecate fills out all the necessary paperwork."

I felt my blood start to boil, the room almost became pure darkness, it just got darker and darker. Then all of a sudden a caw was heard throughout the room and out of the shadows flew my crow Nekrós, in its beak was a black letter.

I held out my hand and it dropped the letter into it, then it flew around the room and landed on my shoulder, on the front written in stark white ancient Greek "TO NICO DI ANGELO."

I turned over the letter it was sealed with the image of dad's helm. I opened the letter and pulled out back out pages with white writing, after going through the pages I notice it is all the paper work for the ghost. I am still pissed that I am finding out about this now.

I turn to Binns "Why am I only finding out about this now."

"It is similar to the reason the gods didn't want the Greek and Roman demigods to meet, but this came with more persuasion from lady Hecate they agreed to ignore this world. So she shrouded it in an extremely heavy layer of mist until they are able to do it themselves. Which after several millennia we were."

"Ok" I took a deep breath and allowed myself to calm down a bit. "Now I want names."

It took a little bit but I learned the names of most of the ghost of Hogwarts. I liked Binns, the bloody Baron and Nearly Headless Nick.

I gave them the task of keeping eyes on the students and if any of them are in danger to let one of us know. It was an idea that Annabeth had that if there were more than just Binns and the few others I have seen to have them be our eyes and ears.

I was half way through explaining how I would like them to contact us if they see or hear something they think we need to know. When Peeves came in, I heard about him from the bloody Baron and how he is very similar to two sons Hermes that I know of. At least I have control over this one.

He came floating into the room and was laughing like he just pulled the greatest prank in the world. I gave him a "tell me what you did glare." And he stopped laughing, I tried that raise eyebrow thing that Annabeth does that seems to get people to tell her everything.

He seemed to change from a poltergeist back to a ghost, and shrank under my gaze. He then said "I rigged the door so that when you leave it would pour cold water on your head, I thought it would be funny." He came out of his trance, turned back to a poltergeist.

"Undo it now, and we won't have a problem." To say he looked scared was an understatement, he was downright frightened. He flew out and I knew he was undoing his trap.

After a little while I decided that I should give gifts to a couple of ghosts some of them have been doing my father favors for years. Especially the bloody Baron and Nicholas, when the basilisk was released Nick saved a student's life by almost sacrificing his existence, and the bloody Baron has been keeping Peeves and the other Ghosts in check.

So I cut off the rest of Nick's head, hey having a Stygian iron sword has its perks, and using some of the Hades given powers. I allowed the baron more interaction with the world around him, he can now taste food.

As I was talking to the other ghost when McGonagall walked in and said that I should get to bed, not knowing if people were a wake or not I decided not to shadow travel to dorms.

It takes a while and a couple wrong turns before I get up to the fat lady portrait, as always told I tell her the password. No one was in the common room, so I snuck up into the dorm making sure not to wake up any one.

As I step into the dorm room, I see that everyone is asleep except Annabeth she is holding Percy slowly stroking his hair I can hear small whimpers like he is holding off nightmares. Besides Annabeth, and Sally, I am the only one other one that has seen Percy like this.

I was lucky I spent most of my time in Tartarus in a jar so it wasn't as bad for me. Yes I still get nightmares, but I haven't woken up screaming, yet. I really hope they find better sleeping arrangements before I ruin it for them. If I do, I don't know if I could live with myself. With that I sent a prayer to Hypnos to hold off my nightmares for one more night so that they can have the comfort of each other for one more night.

That is the end of this chapter.

I'll try to update again soon until next time:

The King of Hades.
