Chapter 21: Just another day
Still in Karakura High School
The gang were observing Victoria movements throughout the morning and found nothing.
They decided to split up to see what they could find.
Momo decided to get a cup of coffee from the vending machine.
She was walking along the hallway where she accidentally bumped onto Victoria and spilled coffee on her.
Momo quickly apologised and offered to help her cleaned the coffee stains off her.
Victoria politely said, "It's ok Momo it was an accident. By the way how do you find Karakura high so far?"
Momo politely replied, "It is good so far."
Victoria said, "Want to join me for lunch on the roof top?"
Momo nodded and they both went up to the roof.
At the roof floor
The two of them were chatting happily of their hobbies to what animals they liked.
All of a sudden, Momo felt uneasy and noticed a garganta opening on the top floor of an adjancent football field.
Momo noticed Victoria was trying to mask her uneasy face when she was looking at the adjacent football field.
Victoria pretended to look at her phone and said, "Momo I got to go, I have some family matters to attend to and it was great to know you."
After Victoria left the roof, Momo received a notice from her shinigami communicator stating her to go to the scene.
At the same time
Momo popped a soul candy and she appeared in her Shinigami robes.
Victoria took out the silver cross that she was saying and started saying a few words the next moment it became a sword. A few moments later a light engulfed her and she was covered in shining armour.
Both felt each other's reiatsu and were thinking why there was a sudden reiatsu appearance.
They felt that the foul reiatsu from the garganta was more of a serious threat and decided to ignore the sudden appearance of reiatsu.
At the football field
Menos and Adjuchas started coming out of the garganta.
Momo said, "Hajike Tobiume" and activated her Zanpakuto.
Momo started to throw fireballs at the menos and Adjuchas, a while later Toshiro and the rest joined her.
Meanwhile at the other end of the football field Victoria were slashing through. At the same time she felt multiple reiatsu and decided to leave.
Just before she escaped an Adjuchas appeared at her left and fired a cero and she landed at the park near the school.
Victoria's POV
Victoria said a few words and a bright light appeared and when the light died down she was in her school uniform with the silver cross around her neck.
From far she saw the Adjuchas still approaching her.
She was thinking to herself whether or not to transform and fight it again.
All of a sudden six thin, wide beams of light that slam into the Adjuchas's midsection thereafter the Adjuchas was enveloped in with a powerful torrent of gravity before taking the form of a box of black energy, covered in several spear-like protrusions.
After the box disappeared, the Adjuchas was covered in multiple lacerations from head to toe.
From far Victoria managed to see a short shinigami girl with long black hair and a lieutenant badge.
She was thinking to herself, this wasn't the shinigami she fought the other item this one she saw was different.
Momo's POV
From far she saw a knight and decided to make chase but group of Adjuchas decided to block her.
She launched fireballs at them.
One of the Adjuchas broke her cloth that was tied to her bun as a result her hair was let loose and kick her to the ground.
When she got up, she saw the Adjuchas running and she said, "Bakudō #61. Rikujōkōrō".
After immobilizing it, she said, "Hadō #90. Kurohitsugi"
Momo said, "This feels great, I feel that I'm strong enough to beat you"
Before the Adjuchas died he said, "Lord Aizen is correct…. You are slowly changing"
Momo was thinking what the Adjuchas was talking about but still could not figure what he meant.
After returning to her Gigai, Momo met up with the rest.
Toshiro said, "Momo what did you think were you doing breaking off to chase a knight and thereafter using a high level kido to kill an adjuchas?"
Momo frowned and said, "Shiro- Chan I felt that was necessary ….."
Toshiro was speechless and they all left for Urahara shop to rest for the night.
The next day
Momo saw Victoria with multiple bruises and asked her what happened.
Victoria brushed it off by saying she fell yesterday and hit against a wall.
Victoria was still figuring who Momo was...
At Urahara shop
The door opened and the bell rang.
Urahara went to the door and said, "Well this is a surprise"
A man with blue hair said, "Shut up Urahara, I wouldn't be here unless it was serious."
Author's note
Finally I am back to writing this story
Within the next few chapters the origins of how the hollow in Momo came to be would be revealed.
If possible I would also like to have all of you readers like and give inputs on my story so far.
If possible I would try to update whenever I am able to.
