Chapter 23: Soon to be out of hand

At the park

Momo and Toshiro were walking and chatting unknowingly followed by Victoria.

Momo and Toshiro stopped on their tracks when they saw two girls.

One with shoulder length hair and styled it in two pigtails with a red hair clip on the right pigtail.

Another was black hair that is straight and cropped to hang around her face, just above her shoulders.

The girl in black hair looked stun and wave and said, "Hi Toshiro it's been a long time !"

Toshiro said in a stun voice, "Karin !"

Karin and towards Toshiro and happily said, "Where have you been all this while?"

Then Karin noticed Momo and Karin said in a slightly annoyed tone, "And you are?"

Momo said, "I'm Momo Hinamori, Toshiro's childhood friend….."

Yuzu cheerfully said, "Hi I'm Yuzu Kurosaki, Karin's twin sister and Ichigo is my big brother!"

Momo said, "Where are the two of you heading?"

Karin said, "We're heading to Urahara shop."

Momo said, "We are also heading there !"

They all went to the direction of the Urahara shop with Victoria secretly following behind, she was thinking Momo might be hiding something as Momo was the only person on the roof when the sudden reiatsu was felt.

At Urahara shop

Went they opened the door and went inside they saw Kisuke Urahara, Tessai and a blue haired man speaking.

The blue hair man said, "I would deal with you Urahara some other time !"

He wore his hat looked down and walked off.

Toshiro wanted to look at his face but the man managed to out manoeuvre him.

Urahara looked at the group and said, "What brings the four of you together?"

Yuzu said, "We are buying the usual anti-hollow items."

Momo turned and said, "The both of you could see spirits and hollows?"

Both nodded.

Toshiro said, "Urahara who was that just now, he somehow seemed to avoid us."

Urahara said, "He was one of my more hot tempered customers nothing much."

They started discussing about the recent hollow incident.

At the streets outside the shop

Mayuri was walking down the streets and he decided to turn his head and said, "Do show yourself?"

Victoria appeared from behind the lamp post.

Victoria said, "You have strong reiatsu and you are not around here so who are you? And why does that shop feel strange?"

Mayuri said, "My my what do we have here? A lady that can sense reiatsu that is indeed rare. Tell me are you a quincy?"

Victoria took out the cross she was wearing and she said, "I am not a quincy, I am a knight!"

A light engulfed her and she was covered in shining armour and she jumped onto the sky above.

Mayuri was laughing hysterically and said, "HAHA It's about time I meet a knight, this is going to be so much fun!"

Mayuri popped a soul candy and left his gigai and stood on the sky and said, "I'm Mayuri Kurotsuchi and I'm the Captain of squad 12 of the Gotei 13!"

Victoria in her heart she was thinking to herself, "A captain level- shinigami?"

The fighting started and it continued till it attracted more knights and eventually Menos Grande.

From a distance a black cat was watching.

Moments later

They felt a huge shockwave.

Toshiro said, "Someone must be fighting a huge battle."

A hell butterfly came towards Kisuke, he stood up and said, "We need to go now Mayuri and Yoruichi are fighting some knights and Menos."

Urahara said, "The two of you better stay here"

At the fight scene

Mayuri was trying to crack Victoria's Armour with his Ashisogi Jizo but failed not only that he started to see more knights appear some with letters on their armour.

Mayuri was thinking to himself, "Hmm it seems more are starting to come nevermind let's see how they deal when I unleash my Bankai!"

Mayuri was going to release his Bankai and suddenly a garganta appeared and menos started to pour out.

Yourichi came out from hiding and said, "Mayuri did you cause all of this?"

Mayuri said, "Of course not, but I would like to know who hahaha"

After a while Mayuri disappeared and went to hiding and observed how the knights fought.

Momo and the rest arrived on the scene and started fighting.

Momo was starting to think why she feels good when with all the slashing and fighting.

Momo was telling herself to keep control, but it was getting harder to resist those thoughts.

After slashing the last menos she launched fireballs from her zanpakuto at a knight with a V on her armour.

Victoria saw Momo and she talked to herself, "I knew it Momo is a shinigami and is a lieutenant of the Gotei 13"

Victoria dodged it and punched Momo mid air and onto the floor.

Inside Momo's mind

A voice shrouded in the mist was telling Momo, "Momo Momo you need more power to defeat her I know you need it she's a threat and she's strong"

Momo said, "Tobiume, I don't wish to …."

Tobiume said, "If you don't you would …"

Momo sighed.

Tobiume smiled could be seen Momo turned behind to meditate and the mist vanished revealing Tobiume now wearing a crimson red ribbon and her hair started to have streaks of white.

Back at the battleground

Momo stood back up but this time round with her eyes consisted of black pupils, yellow irises, and black sclera and took of her peach hairclip soon, the reiatsu started to feel stronger.

Momo said, "Bankai: Eien no Fenikkusu Tobiume"

Bright orange flames started to appear behind Momo and both her arms were starting to be covered in fire.

Finally I am back to writing this story, hope the progress is good so far !

Within the next few chapters, there would be more things to come.

If possible I would also like to have all of you readers like and give inputs on my story so far.

If possible I would try to update whenever I am able to.
