Yeah... it's been forever... I haven't been in a humorous mood, and I'm not even sure this one is funny... Sigh. I needed an update, so... Anyways, this one takes place... I'd say, while Sora and Riku are on the Dark Margin.
This one was inspired by my gaming habits. Over the past two days, I've been marathoning KH2, and I beat the game. I feel amazing. However, it wasn't honest gaming, as I skipped the Pride Lands, Atlantica, part of Hollow Bastion, and the other half of the Space Paranoids. I'm so bad, aren't I! TT_TT So, I beat the game, but there's a bunch of question marks in Jiminy's journal. Eh.
Disclaimer:
Me: Ha! Riku, you're in this one, even if you're not the target of the humor!
Riku: ...ugh...
Me: Don't complain. Anyways, I don't own KH.
Riku: By the way, Kyla, what do you mean by that...?
Me: Sorry Riku, you'll have to wait for that response.
Riku: ...
"What..." The lion started, staring at the stars in the sky above. "What about us? Weren't we supposed to be visited, too...?" This lion was Simba, who had been told his world was getting a visit from three heroes.
He had prepared his world, made it look nice, even gave the heroes something to save.
Originally, he had the throne, but—so the "heroes" wouldn't be bored—he temporarily turned it over to Scar, simply telling him, "Do your worst." The older lion had been reluctant at first, remembering what had happened the last time he had the throne, but when Simba had reassured him it was just for show, he quickly agreed. He had always liked putting on shows.
Simba had informed the rest of the lions and lionesses, telling them the set-up was only temporary. Some had complained, but they all knew that the three heroes would put an end to it.
So, with that, the young king left, going back to the oasis to wait, wait for the heroes to come.
They never did.
Elsewhere, something of the same sort was happening.
"What about us?" The young redheaded mermaid said under her breath, looking at the sun's rays shine through the water.
Apparently, her world was supposed to be visited by three heroes, too.
However, her world didn't exactly need saving, it was just supposed to get a visit.
Ariel was upset. She knew Ursula was out there somewhere, waiting for the right moment to attack... But when would that moment come? She was tired of living in suspense.
Even though the ocean was at peace, the suspense was killing her.
The little mermaid crossed her arms and huffed, saying, "Some heroes those three were."
At yet another world, people were awaiting the three heroes.
Merlin the magician was having a fit. "I was told that our world was supposed to be turned back into Radiant Garden, but those three heroes have to be here for that to happen. Oh, when I get my hands on them, so help me, I'll..." He waved his hands around in dramatic gestures as he paced around his home.
"Merlin, please," Aerith said softly, trying to calm the raging wizard. "Sora, Donald, and Goofy are probably on their way now."
"They had better be." Merlin grumbled as he continued pacing.
At the same time, in the same world, Leon was puzzling over Ansem's computer, searching the files for anything valuable. However, he was stopped when a message came up on the screen.
He quickly scanned the message, silent after he was finished. After another moment, he shook his head and walked away, deciding now was a good time to clean up Ansem the Wise's office.
The message was left up, glowing on the dark screen.
Dear User,
I cannot comprehend what is happening here.
Weren't Sora, Donald, and Goofy going to come back and help me take back control of the dataspace?
I don't understand why they haven't arrived yet.
User, since I don't know exactly who you are, I'll only ask this of you. If you happen to know Sora, Donald, and Goofy, please ask them what the delay is.
Thank you,
Tron
"Hey, Riku?" Sora asked his older friend as the watched the waves on the Dark Margin.
"Yeah?" The silverette replied, looking over at Sora.
"I feel like I forgot to do something." The teen replied, frowning.
After a few seconds, Riku simply shrugged. "Well, I'm sure that, whatever it was, it's not that important."
After a moment of silence, Sora nodded, saying, "Okay. If you say so."
The duo returned to comfortable silence.
I'm terrible, aren't I? Skipping all those parts of the game... I may or may not go back and do 'em. Basically, the whole thing with that was, I was trying to avoid all the worlds that had nothing to do with the overall plot. And then... Well, the whole part about skipping over Hollow Bastion and the Space Paranoids... that was an accident. Either way, I beat the game, with next to none of the extra things you get. I didn't even get the high jump... So, ne.
Anyways, I just wanted to let you all know that I'm not dead. Review...~
