Here's another update~! I'm on a roll! Also, expect around four updates in the near future - I'm writing them up now. I just wanted to get at least this one down, because I just wanted to update~ XD

Also, before I begin, I gotta say, I'm ultra ultra happy with you all! Thanks to all my viewers. I can't believe this story reached 30+ reviews! I know it's not much to be excited for, but this story has the most reviews I've ever gotten, so I'm happy that I'm finally getting somewhere. XD It used to be hard for me to get 10, let alone 30! So thanks a bunch, guys! I really appreciate it!

Ah, so this one takes place mid-KH2, and it was inspired by... well, hair. XD I've themed three installments with hair, already~! XD Nah, this time it's spikes. I was wondering whose hair was spikier - Cloud or Sora's - but then I remember Tifa's comment, so... That was the ice-breaker, in a way.

Disclaimer:

Riku: Kyla! That hair makeover was torture, we didn't actually watch any movies, and I wasn't paying attention to his hair secrets! And what's with that suggestive tone for the movies...?

Me: I didn't know you could be so dense!

Riku: ...?

Me: Nevermind, nevermind. If you didn't get it... anyways, I don't own KH.

Riku: Wait, you owe me some explanations! You need to tell me what she meant with that tone, and you never told me what a bromance was!

Me: *waves hand* Ah, you'll find out soon enough!

"CLOUD!" The cry rang out through the whole castle.

Said person was pacing around Ansem the Wise's study, simply stepping over the books that were scattered across the floor. When this cry reached his ears, however, the spiky-haired swordsman stopped in place, his foot hovering just above the tiles floor. Leon had left the computer room to get some fresh air, and no one else was there, so who had called him?

Suddenly, the door to the study burst open and a panting Sora stood there, his blue eyes wide. "Cloud!" He said exasperatedly, walking up to the swordsman. "I... I need...!"

"What's wrong, Sora?" Cloud asked, wondering what was going on with his friend. "Do you have another metaphor?"

The teen shook his head and said breathlessly, "I... I need to count... the spikes in your hair!"

"What?" Cloud was slightly shocked by the sudden demand—no one had ever asked to do that before... "Why?"

"Don't ask! My pride is at stake here!" With that, Sora climbed up on top of Ansem's desk, pushing books aside with his feet as he tried to reach a standing position. He grabbed Cloud's sleeve with some difficulty before pulling the swordsman over to count the spikes.

Cloud only stood there, knowing he wasn't going to get out of this. Might as well save himself the trouble of protesting.

It was a good ten minutes before Sora finished counting, his voice getting more and more hysterical the higher the number got. When he finally finished, he jumped off the desk, his shoulders slumped. "I can't believe it..."

Cloud, not really understanding what was going on, asked, "Sora, what's... what was all that about?"

Sora sighed dejectedly, explaining, "Well, Yuffie had told me my hair was spiky, but not spikier than yours, and so—of course—I got defensive and made some stupid bet, thinking my hair was spikier... And since I lost, I have to wear a dress... A frilly, pink dress... I'll never hear the end of this, Cloud!" He threw his arms up into the air.

The blonde didn't know what to say. He knew how Yuffie could get... Sighing, he put a hand on the teen's shoulder and said, "Trust me, wearing a dress ins't that bad. You'll get over it quickly."

Sora's eyes sparked with questioning. "How... How would you know?"

Cloud raised an eyebrow before saying, turning away, "That's... not something you need to know about."

Sora raised an eyebrow in return before shaking his head, saying, "Well... okay then... anyways, thanks for the advice. Wish me—and my pride—luck..."

Cloud still didn't look back at the teen as he muttered, "Good luck..."

Sora left with a shrug, dragging his feet. He closed the door behind him.

Once the blonde was sure he was gone, he let out a breath of relief. "That was too close."

I salute to any FFVII fans who know why Cloud seemed a bit nervous when Sora asked how he knew about dress-wearing... XD Ah... Well, at least Cloud's dependable! XD
