Gah... update time... At 3 AM. I'm wonderful, aren't I? OTL If the quality of this sucks, I wouldn't be surprised, because I literally threw my hands on the keyboard, waited a few minutes, and this happened. And all the while, I'm half asleep, muttering about Riku drawing circles. Sigh... don't ask.

This took place after KH2, and was inspired by a conversation Shade the Hero and I are having. I'll get back to ya soon!

Me: Alright, I'm sorry... I did indeed write that 'cause you hurt my feelings a little in the installment before last, but... I know, it was a bit over-the-top. The readers loved it, though. So gomen.

Riku: ...

Me: Ne... but really, would you draw me a circle? And if you did, wouldn't it be exactly six inches in diameter?

Riku: ...what?

Me: I should go to bed... anyways, I don't own KH.

The sun was just starting to set on Destiny Island. There were only two people left on the landform, a boy with spiky brunette hair and a girl with shoulder-length, straight, auburn hair.

The duo was heading towards the docks, going to return home, when the brunette – Sora – stopped in his tracks, holding a hand over his heart. "Ugh..." He muttered under his breath, closing his eyes.

His friend, Kairi, stopped next to him, worriedly putting a hand on his shoulder. "Sora...?"

Sora shook his head, sighing. "My heart... it feels... heavy."

"Heavy?" Kairi repeated, her worry increasing a little bit. "What's wrong?"

Sora shook his head again, taking a deep breath before he opened his eyes, saying, "No, I'm fine. My heart feels heavy. It weighs too much."

Kairi was silent, not really knowing what to say.

After a few minutes of awkward silence, Sora sighed and said, starting to walk again, "It's getting late. Let's head back."

Kairi could only nod and follow after her brunette friend.

Yeah... eh... I wanted to give Kairi another appearance in this package - she's been a rare case, hasn't she? We haven't seen her since what, number 6? It's been far too long, Kairi. XD

Anyways, of course Sora's heart would feel heavy! I mean, he's got a lot in there! There's everything from someone else's heart to someone else's being to a crapload of people's memories... Just, wow. So yes. Sora's heart is heavy.
