Yeah... I'm here, ish... Sorry for the disappearance - high school started, and the first month was horrible, last month was recovery and revelation, and this month, more recovery. Suddenly, I'm everyone's therapist. Ky-chan-san, I know how you feel now.
So, announcement that I should have made a long time ago - the 50th reviewer was TTY7. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you, I've just been going through a lot. My schedule is literally, "Get up, go to school, practice, homework, sleep. Eat in between." I have no time for anything anymore, and it's upsetting. I'll try to get your request up ASAP.
With that being said, I'm slowly easing into writing, but it's hard because of writer's block and 'cause of that schedule. Sigh...
Unfortunately, updates for this will be infrequent. My "writer's sense of humor" left me in August, and it hasn't really come back yet. I finished this installment with the mindset of, "I have to study for that French test..." So... probably not that funny.
Um, so. This one was inspired by... actually, I can't remember. I think I just wanted to do something BBS-related. Speaking of which, this takes place mid-BBS, Ventus's side.
Disclaimer:
Riku: It's been a while, Electro!
Me: Yeah, I know... I miss writing... Well, anyways, I don't own KH...
Riku: That's it? You're not going to do the whole thing where I get to show my reactions on certain reviews?
Me: Well... I was planning on it, but I have a lot of homework to do, and I have nothing clever in mind...
Riku: I see...
"Here, hide behind this rock."
Peter Pan and Ventus were currently on the run. Even though Hook's aim was pretty terrible, every once in a while, his cannonballs would hit their mark, and when they did, they hurt. So, in order to avoid that pain, the duo was basically running for their lives.
They were about to start running again when suddenly—
"Achoo!"
Ventus sniffled and shook his head, trying to recover from the shaking sneeze.
"Bless you!" Peter exclaimed, turning a shocked look to Ventus. "You'll get us killed, Ven!"
Ventus looked at the floating boy curiously, obviously confused about what was said. "What...?"
Peter huffed and said, flying in close, "Hook's ears are sensitive to sneezes!" His eyes widened as he said, looking up at the sky, "He's probably pinpointed us by now!"
Ventus was about to disagree with the boy when, as if on cue, a cannonball landed dangerously close to their location. The blonde boy let out a yell of surprise, scrambling away from the area of impact. "What the...?!" He threw a hand over his chest, taking in a few deep breaths to calm the rapid beating of his heart. "That was too close!"
Peter only looked on smugly as he drifted away, "I told you so."
Ventus sent him a pointed look as he followed behind, grumbling to himself.
It wasn't long before cannonballs were raining down on them once again.
They broke into a run.
Woo, short, BBS, Ventus. Sneezing.
Again, sorry for the lack of humor in both the A/N and the actual installment - sigh. I'm not feeling it, if that makes sense.
Review, I guess...
