So... I'm alive? It's been almost three months? Hello... I'll try to keep this short and sweet.

This installment is TTY7's reward for being the 50th reviewer - it's that request I've been mentioning for forever. It takes place during KH2.

Disclaimer:

I don't own KH, just the writings~

Cloud was running. His legs and his lungs burned, demanding that he stop for a rest, but he refused. He couldn't rest. Not until he found Sora... not until he was safe.

Running through Hollow Bastion like this was sure to grab some folks' attention, and of course it did, and he was stopped a few times, but in the end he was always running... He was thankful that all his past endeavors had raised his stamina, or he'd be a wreck about now.

Finally, Cloud heard the sounds of battle – the sounds of the one he was seeking. He wasn't surprised to find Sora, Donald, and Goofy fighting off a small group of Heartless. Without a second thought, Cloud eliminated the rest of the Heartless with one fell swoop, his lungs crying out even more now.

There was one moment of pause before he was running again, this time with Sora over his shoulder. The added weight made the task a bit more difficult, but nothing he couldn't manage. The blonde swordsman jumped up onto a discreet rooftop before putting his teen companion down and finally taking a breather.

"Cloud," Sora questioned the moment he was on his feet, "What in the world's going on?"

Cloud shook his head, barely able to rasp out, "Need... help..."

"Help?" Sora repeated, now even more confused.

The taller swordsman put his hands on Sora's shoulders, staring him in the eyes, trying his best to communicate. "Gotta... hide!"

"Hide from what? Cloud—" Sora didn't get to finish, however, when Cloud interrupted him.

"From Tifa!" Cloud bowed his head, some feelings of guilt sprouting in the corners of his mind. Of course he wanted to see his childhood friend, and he knew she was searching tirelessly for him, but he couldn't bring himself to go meet her face to face... not again, at least.

The first time he met her here, in Hollow Bastion, he was pelted with questions of his whereabouts and greeted with a tight hug. That, he expected that.

What he didn't expect was for Tifa to become so clingy right after said meeting. Cloud couldn't even sleep without her being right there next to him. At first, it wasn't too bad. Like previously mentioned, Cloud missed his friend, and he was glad to see her. However, after a week, the lack of privacy was starting to get to him. And since there wasn't anything else he could do, he ran.

"Tifa...?" Sora asked, tilting his head to the side.

Finally catching his breath, Cloud got out, "Tall, runs fast, usually wearing black, black hair, brown eyes..." he winced, "Packs a punch."

Sora nodded slowly. "Alright... and you need to hide from her?"

Cloud nodded. "Yes. That's exactly what I need. I figured I'd go to you because you've been to a lot of worlds... so you must know some good hiding places."

Sora raised a brow. "Ah, hiding places... I see. I know a good few, since I had to hide from Riku after he found out I filmed him that—" Sora paused nervously and let out a small cough before continuing, "Um, I can give you some tips."

It wasn't long before Cloud was crouched in the attic of an item shop in the town square, not daring to breath every time he heard footsteps from outside. It wasn't the best hiding place, but he'd give Sora some credit, he definitely wasn't visible. However, if he made any noise he would surely be heard outside...

Despite this, it was a better hiding place than what he would have thought of, so he was thankful. Hiding here instead of running gave him more time—and more focus—to think of where else to hide.

He was just starting to get comfortable and come up with something when there was a female voice yelling followed by several crashes. Cloud heard feet thundering up the stairs towards the attic and he did the only thing he could think of—he jumped out of the attic's conveniently placed window and hit the ground running.

Thinking could come later, now was a time for running.

So, as you can see, the disclaimer is awfully dry. I'm having a moment and I can't exactly address everything that Riku needs to rant about in the reviews. To anyone who might want to know, my friend and I started texting each other today... and well... it turned into something else. We're communicating in Kingdom Hearts memes now. This has been going on for the past like, two hours. It's amazing how many memes exist. Memes are eternal.

TTY7, I'm not sure how I did on this request, but it's been in the making for a good while... I don't think it flows well, and it's not too funny, but... sigh... Gomen TT_TT

I hope you guys enjoyed anyways... Review~
