Guys. Guys. Thank you so much. This story has reached 76 reviews and over 8,000 views. I'm amazed. I didn't even realize... so thanks. A bunch. You don't even know.
So, I started writing this one last year, and it's been in production for a while, so I don't remember what inspired it. It most likely takes place after KH2.
Disclaimer:
Me: Been a while since the disclaimer happened... Well. I don't own KH. Riku, go.
Riku: I have nothing to say...
Me: Ah...?
Riku: So I read a fic recently... by Shade... and I almost got caught by fangirls...
Me: That fic's a couple months old...
Riku: I'm just not gonna...
Me: Okay...
The destined trio was sitting on the paopu tree, wading in the sunset and the nostalgia of the experience.
"Riku," a female voice sounded, breaking the comfortable silence the trio had established.
"Yeah?" said the silver-haired teen, looking up at his friend from his position leaning against the tree.
Kairi raised a brow at him. "You have this thoughtful look on your face..." she smiled, "Looks like someone needs a hug."
"Hug?" Riku questioned incredulously, shaking his head. "No, no, that's not really—"
Sora cut him off, grinning. "Kairi's right, Riku, you really do need a hug. You've been through a lot... you must want one."
Riku shook his head more dramatically now, waving his hand at his friends. "No, I really don't... I don't need a hug, thanks for offering..."
Kairi grinned, hopping off the tree and saying, "You're just in denial." She held out her arms, inching closer to the silverette. "Come on, just one hug!"
Riku took a few steps away from the tree, trying to put some distance between him and his female friend. "No, Kairi, really..." He held up his hands, shaking his head again. "I don't..."
Sora hopped off the tree trunk, taking a spot beside Kairi and also holding out his arms. "Embrace the hugs, Riku!" he exclaimed, his grin just getting bigger.
Riku, on the other hand, only continued to back away from his friends, desperately trying to maintain some form of distance between them. "You guys..."
"Tackle hug!" The two cried out, both of them jumping at the same time.
The next thing Riku knew, he was on the ground with two bodies on top of him, two sets of arms wrapped around them. He squirmed under the weight, just barely being able to breathe. "G-guys," he choked out, "get off..."
"No can do, Riku." Kairi looked up at her older friend and grinned, hugging him a bit tighter.
Riku sighed, knowing he should be used to all the hugs by now, but still not exactly there yet. "Fine, fine..."
This is totally inaccurate I admit it because we all know Riku would totally be the one chasing Sora and Kairi down for hugs okay? Riku's a secret hug craver. He... he craves that hug. *cough* Gotta love SoRiKai humor fluff right. It's amazing. (Riku's such a dork okay we all know it)
Anyways, AN Riku has been temporarily traumatized, I guess... He's gonna be okay...
Wow. I don't know if this installment is okay. I don't know at all.
