It has been a week since Cole and Sky has came back from their honeymoon and she can not be happier, six weeks all by themselves in a beautiful country. She is sitting at work a little nauseous so she has some crackers on her desk, there is a knock at the door and she looks up when she sees her boss Mr. Clark standing in the doorway with a paper.
"Can you make ten copies of these" he asks?
"Sure no problem Mr. Clark" Sky says taking the file out his hand when she feels dizzy and she loses her balance for a while, Mr. Clark catches her and helps her sit down.
"Are you alright" he asks?
"Yeah I am just a little nauseous is all but I am fine" Sky says.
"You should stop by your doctor's office before you leave" he says.
"I will and thank you sir" she says before he leaves.
Later on that night while Cole is still at work, Sky is sitting on the toilet with the white box in her hand. She realized that her monthly cycle is late, now here she is a bundle of nerves as she bounces her leg. Exhaling she stands up as she feels a boost of confidence and opens the box.
Cole walks in the house smelling burning food and walks in the kitchen to see chicken burnt in the pain, he quickly cuts the fire off and places his bag on the table. He removes his jacket and lies it on the couch before walking upstairs and seeing the bathroom door close.
"Hey Sky" he says knocking on the door.
"One minute" she says and he can hear tears in her voice.
Cole jiggles the knob but he sees it is locked so he waves his hand out opening the door to see her in sweat pants and one of his shirts sitting against the bath tub with her arms around her knees and her head in between her knees. He walks over sitting in front of her so one leg is between either side of her, he places his hands on her arms making her head lift her head and look at him.
"Hey what's wrong" he asks wiping tears off her cheeks?
"I'm...I'm pregnant Cole" she says showing him the test with two pink lines.
A face covers Cole face and brings her into a passionate deep kiss as his hand slides down resting on her stomach.
"How far along are we" he asks?
"I don't know I was waiting for you to come home first" she says.
"Well go hurry up" he says pulling her up and she laughs before reaching up pecking his lips.
Cole walks in the kitchen throwing out the bad food and scraping the pans, Sky finished her call and is now leaning against the doorway watching Cole as he cleans up. She walks up behind him wrapping her arms around his stomach resting her head on his back.
"I'm glad you're happy about this" she says.
"Nothing will make me happier" he says.
"My appointment is tomorrow at four" she says.
"I'll pick you up from the office" he says.
"So what are you cooking Mr. Mom" she asks teasingly.
"Well you are dessert but I was think pepper steak with brown rice and baked broccoli" he says.
"Mhm sounds wonderful" she says releasing him and hopping up on the counter a hand on her stomach. She has never felt so loved before in her life.
Neither Cole nor Sky know that their lives are about to change drastically now that they have fulfilled their destiny.
