Cole heads upstairs but stops when he sees Sky staring at him while caressing her protruding stomach.
"What's wrong" she asks?
"What do you mean" he asks?
"You're worried about something" she says.
"No I'm not" he says.
"Yes you are, I can feel it" she says.
"Alright, baby that's what I need to talk to you about" Cole says walking in and sitting beside her.
"What's wrong" she asks rubbing her stomach with love and content on her face.
"I think somehow you are sharing the baby's powers and you are doing it right now, when I walked in you immediately knew what I felt" he says.
"Yes so" she says.
"We think the baby is an Empath and because you are pregnant, you are sharing his or her powers" Cole says reaching over rubbing her stomach.
"So these emotions I'm feeling of love and happiness, they aren't mine but the baby's" she asks?
"No well some of them are yours, it's hard to explain" he says.
"Obviously the baby is happy" she says before resting back against the pillows.
"Clark also read the doctor's mind and he says the baby is big for four months that he or she looks five months along, I don't know if it's because of all of its powers or something else" Cole says.
"You know I can feel its heartbeat, it's in sync with mine. But I can feel it..there are no words to describe it" she says.
He reaches over placing his hand on her stomach and she smiles as she feels the baby shift closer to his hand.
"The baby likes his or her daddy" she says as her eyelid gets tired, Cole looks up to see his wife eyes close as she falls asleep. There is a brief knock at the door and he looks up to see Clark leaning against the doorway.
"Dad can I talk to you real quick" Clark asks?
"Yeah" Cole says gently pulling the sheet over Sky and then leaving out of the room with Clark.
They step in the hallway and Cole crosses his arms looking at his son.
"What's up" Cole asks?
"I was thinking I spend the weekend with Phoebe, I mean and get to know my little sisters" he says.
"That's fine by me, we can call her tomorrow" Cole says.
"Alright thanks Dad. I'm going to head to bed" Clark says hugging his dad before going into his bedroom.
Cole walks back towards the bedroom but stops when he sees a shadowy figure of Cassidy appears in front of him.
"What have you done" she asks?
"I don't know what you're talking about" Cole whispers not to alert Sky or Clark.
"We can no longer see the child so we can not see his destiny or anyone in your family, you did something" she states.
"I thought you were this all powerful god but you can't keep a demon in line" he taunts before walking through her and closing his bedroom door.
