It has been two months since Sky and Clark has left for Vancouver, he actually spend June and half of July with Phoebe and her sisters and their families out in Wisconsin and before coming to Vancouver with her. She has hit her eight months, this month has been the worse. Her daughter keeps alternating her powers and she keeps having them bad dream that her daughter becomes the source and kills Clark, Cole and herself before flaming out.
Right now she is sitting in the den in front of a fire, Clark is enjoying his vacation and snapping lots of pictures to show his friends and family when they come back to San Francisco. There is a knock at the door and looks at it with anger, her back is killing her and now sole one wants to knock at the door.
"Who is it" she asks?
"Your husband" is the response she gets and she sighs but gets up and with the help of the couch and waddles to the door, she opens the wooden door to see Cole standing there in a thick brown winter coat, black gloves and a wool hat.
"You do know that as a half demon you don't get Cole" she says.
"Yes but I am playing the role" he says and she smiles before letting him in, after he shakes the snow off of his shoes he steps out of them and walks over to sit beside her as he gets out of his coat and gloves.
"Where is Clark" he asks?
"Oh he is out snowboarding" Sky says rubbing her stomach.
"By himself" Cole asks?
"No it's a group of young teens, plus he has his powers" she responds.
"Are we alright" he asks and she turns her head to look at him.
"What do you mean" he asks?
"Marriage wise. I know I haven't been the best husband these past few months with the big case, but these last days we have together I want to cherish" Cole says.
Sky looks at him and smiles before wrapping her arms around him and hugs him tightly, Cole sighs and looks out into the distance behind her. The days get closer for her to give birth, thus when the prophecy will be revealed. He pulls away and smiles before placing his hand on her stomach.
"Our daughter will be here soon" Cole says.
"Four weeks" Sky says.
"The nursery is finished" Cole says.
Sky smiles and stands up when a demon shimmers behind her, she is too late to respond when an energy ball is tossed at her and she flies back on the wooden table breaking it into pieces. Cole stands up and goes to toss an energy ball at the demon but freezes when he recognizes it's one of his brothers from the Brotherhood.
"The almighty Balthazar has taken and bedded a witch" the demon snarls.
"Stay away from my wife" Cole threatens.
"As you wish. Soon she and your child will die and I will take the throne as the new source" Dank snarls and Cole looks behind him to see blood pouring from Sky's head, he snarls and forms and an higher level fire ball when he looks behind him and sees wet shoe prints appearing on the carpet but he doesn't see anyone. He smirks when he realizes that Clark has learned the invisibility spell from Paige, he drops the fireball and Dank smirks.
"Have you surrendered" Dank asks?
"No you forgot one thing about me" Cole says.
"Yeah and what is that" Dank asks?
"I have another child" Cole says and Clark reveals himself as he stands in front of Dank and plunges an athame in his stomach, Dank eyes widen before he explodes in his face. Clark turns around as Cole drops to Sky and picks her up, he raises his hand to see her blood tainting it.
"We have to get her to the doctor" Cole says.
"The nearest hospital is a thirty minute drive" Clark says.
"Your aunt can heal her" Cole says picking her motionless body up in his arms.
"They are still out of town, I think there is a healing potion in the book" Clark says.
"Come on we'll shimmer there" Cole says and Clark touches his dad's shoulder and the three of them shimmer out.
Cole lies Sky on the floor with a pillow supplement her head, Clark rushes over to the book and he looks at it. He has never actually tried to touch the book, he is Halliwell blood but he has demonic powers.
"Please let this work" he whispers and he places his hand on the book and smiles before flipping through the pages until he finds the healing potion.
He scans over what he needs and smiles, he rushes over to the potion table and starts to set the potion up.
"How is she" Clark asks?
"Her lips are turning a light purple, she's losing oxygen which means the baby is also" Cole say.
"I just need a little more time" Clark says as he starts mixing the potion, it turns a light yellow as throw in the mandrake root.
Cole places his hands on Sky's stomach and he can't feel the baby's movement. Clark rushes over after he finishes the potion, he hands it to his dad and Cole tilts Sky's head up and shuts the liquid down her throat. He forces her to swallow it before laying her head back down, the father and son watch as the color goes back to Sky's face and her lips gain their natural pink tone back. Her eyes slowly open and she looks up at them and smiles.
"That was close" Cole says as he helps her sit up when they hear orbs and look up seeing a woman in gold robes.
"Who are you" Clark asks?
"I am an Elder and I have to come to make sure the child that your wife bares powers are stripped immediately after birth" she says.
"What" Cole asks?
"This child you bare is the imbalance needed to tilt the balance of good as evil, if fallen in the world hands can wreak havoc on Earth and we can not have that" the Elder says.
"We will not deprive our child from their magical ancestry" Sky says sitting up.
"Then you suffer the consequences of your actions" she says and orbs out.
Sky turns to Cole and wraps a hand protectively over her stomach, she presses her head deeper into his chest when she feels this sharp pain up her spine. She winces and Cole pulls back, he goes to ask her what's wrong when she feels her pants get warmer.
"My water just broke" Sky says.
