Luna looked over at Twilight, and Twilight gave Luna and innocent look.
"Dear can I speak with you in the study?" Luna asked.
Twilight nodded as she gulped.
"Vesper stay here and read your pamphlet, mommy and I will be right back okay?" Luna said.
Vesper nodded as he climbed onto their bed and continued to look at the pamphlet.

Luna closed the door behind Twilight as they entered the study. Her back was to Twilight before taking a deep breath and turning to face her mare.
Twilight chuckled nervously, "Hi"
"Twilight I thought you and I were going to discuss this first." Luna stated.
"What is there to discuss my love. Vesper is 5, he will be turning 6 in half a year and I think we should enroll him in school."
"Why he has a tutor, we can teach him. There isn't much new that he would learn in school. School is just an excuse to get the children out of the house for 8 hours of the day. I want my son here with us, where he is safe." Luna stated.
"But he needs to meet other children his age."
"He has his cousin."
"His cousin that he rarely gets to see cause he is in school, and because we live a whole town away." Twilight said raising her voice.
"I just, Twilight we should have talked about it more first before you pull a fast one and just decide that he is old enough to make his own decisions." Luna raised her voice as well.
"He is just going to school Luna, he isn't marrying some harlot. I truthfully don't see the problem here." Twilight growled.
"The problem is that we aren't ready to sent him off yet!" Luna yelled.
"You mean, you aren't ready!" Twilight yelled back.
Luna growled, "Weren't you the worrywart in this relationship!"
Twilight gasped, "Oh, Luna that was a low blow. I maybe the the worrywart, but at least I am ready to cut the umbilical cord!" She yelled as she stomped her hoof on the ground.
Luna turned her back on Twilight, "He is adopted there, isn't any umbilical cord. I just don't want him too far away from us."
Twilight gasped, "How could you do that, bringing up the fact that we adopted him. Luna that's heartless." She yelled back.
"I Don't Want Him To Leave This Castle! End Of Discussion." Luna growled her back still turned to Twilight.
Twilight rubbed her belly gently as she felt some pain from the unborn foal. "What, You can't trust your son! You can't trust your Wife!?"
"I DON'T TRUST THIS WORLD!" Luna yelled as she turned and looked at Twilight. All anger from her face drained as she saw that Twilight was clearly in pain.
She walked over and gently wrapped her wings around Twilight. She sighed as she heard her wife start sniffling.
"That's what this is all about Luna, not everyone thinks like the delegates your know." Twilight sniffled as she buried her face in Luna's chest.
"But not everyone is as open minded as us." Luna whispered gently as she gently and affectionately licked Twilight's ear, trying to ease her pain.
"I'm sorry my love, I didn't mean to stress you or the baby out. I'm so sorry." Luna whispered gently.
Twilight nodded as she inhaled and exhaled, trying to make the pain fade away. And slowly but surely it did. She continued to rub her belly to soothe the foal, and soon Luna's hoof found her way onto Twilight's hoof as she aided her.
Twilight looked up at Luna. Luna smiled back down at Twilight as she leaned her head in and gave Twilight a gentle kiss on the lips.
Twilight released a small, gentle, and satisfying moan. Luna smiled more into the kiss as she wrapped her wings around them, covering them from view as she deepened the kiss.
There was a knock on the door that jolted the two, both of them jumped up and knocked foreheads together.
"Oww Luna, your big ole head." Twilight giggled playfully.
Luna smirked and bit Twilight's ear once before helping her wife up. Twilight whined as a shiver went down her spine.
"That will teach you to make fun of my head." Luna stated.
Twilight raised her eyebrow and shook her head. She gently licked Luna's cheek. "But that is my big ole head."
Luna smiled as she spoke, "Come in!"
A Guard walked in, "Princesses Celestia has called for a small family meeting."
"Let my sister know we will be there in a moment." Luna stated as she folded her wings back to her sides.
The Guard nodded as he closed the door behind him.
Luna smiled as Twilight gave her a gentle kiss on her cheek, "If it makes you feel better my love, we can actually tour the school before we enroll him."
Luna sighed and nodded, "I was never going to win this argument was I?"
Twilight giggled as she licked Luna's cheek.
"Nope"

Celestia was sitting at the breakfast table sipping on her tea. Vesper was attacking some cereal, and Elysian was sitting in her high chair eating a cotton candy cloud.
Elysian cooed happily as she made a sticky mess all over herself and the chair. Celestia giggled a little as she watched her daughter.
"No Eli, you are doing it all wrong." Discord said as he snapped his fingers and his daughter was completely clean. Her cotton candy cloud now absent from her little hooves. She started crying.
"Dissy give her, her cloud back." Celestia frowned.
"Not until she learns how to eat it right." Discord said, turning his back on his daughter to speak to his wife. Elysian summoned a giant hammer and hit Discord a few times with it.
Celestia smirked, as Discord was flattened to the ground, "Well…"
Discord sprung back up, his eyes swirling around as he slowly spun. "She...g..gets...h..her..a..attitude..f..from…. ." He fell to the ground in a heap and Elysian clapped her hooves together as her hammer disappears. She stuck a hoof in her mouth and sucked on it as Discord stretched and cracked his back as he stood up.
"Elysian, I thought you loved daddy!" Discord whined.
Elysian looked at him, tilted her head and summoned a bottle of chocolate milk. Discord pouted at her, and she summoned a cup of chocolate milk for him.
"Oh my favorite, how did you know! Oh she really does love her daddy." He cheered as he picked her up and bounced her around.
"No wait Discord she just finished…" But it was already too late, before Celestia could warn him Elysian burped and a torrent of flames welcomed Discord's face. He opened his scorched eyes as he handed Elysian to Celestia.
Celestia put her hoof over her mouth to avoid breaking out into laughter at her husband's expense. Elysian giggled and clapped her hooves together as her mane lit up bright. Her dragon tail wagging a little. Her blue bat wings flapping a little. Celestia gently cradled her little filly in her wing.
Elysian yawned as she cuddled into her mother's feathers. Discord finished wiping the soot off of his face and leaned over and down at his child.
Elysian giggled and booped her father with her tail before yawning and drifting off into a peaceful sleep.
Discord raised his brow as he watched his daughter sleep. "This is the only time this little troublemaker is peaceful."
Celestia giggled, "She reminds me of her father."
Discord pouted as Celestia and she smiled as she leaned over and kissed the frown off of his face.
Vesper made a face and stuck his tongue out and make a puking sound. Discord looked over and made the colts bowl of cereal explode.
"HEY, uncle Discord!" Vesper chuckled as he threw his spoon at his uncle and hit him square on the head.
Discord growled playfully, "That's it. Between you and your cousin, you are driving the king of chaos mad!" He flew over and grabbed Vesper and tickled him like crazy.
Luna and Twilight walked in. Luna used her magic to make feather appear and to tickle Discord. Discord broke out into uncontrollable laughter till he dropped Vesper. Twilight caught Vesper with her magic and brought him over to him to hug him.
Luna smiled as she quit the torture. Vesper cheered as he hugged his mother. "I love my mothers!"
Luna nodded as she looked at Discord. "Luna that was fowl play!"
"I had to save my son." Luna smiled as she walked over to her wife and child as she nuzzled Vespers man.
Discord pouted and Celestia just kissed his cheek.
"So what's up with the meeting today sister" Luna asked as she sat down. Twilight used her magic and set Vesper back down in his chair. She gave him a fresh bowl of cereal and he started to eat it.
"Well I heard that Vesper wanted to go to school, and I found an advanced educational institute that is one of the best in Canterlot, it is specifically for children from a Royal background." Celestia said as she slid the flier across the table to Twilight and Luna.
Luna looked at Twilight and Twilight just stuck her tongue out and grabbed the flier.
"It's a very diverse school, it teaches the children basic flying and magic. In addition to teaching them how to prepare for press conferences, meetings, organize trades, rally out rations in the case of a catastrophic emergencies, allows them to practice all the responsibilities that comes with being in power. There are special classes for each type of power." Celestia stated.
Twilight nodded as she read the flier and Luna snatched it away. "Can't we just set up some playdates and arrange for him to get a private tutor. I mean really."
"But mother, I really want to go to school." Vesper said as he gave Luna the puppy eyes.
Luna sighed as she gave in, "Fine, but you are going to see this thing through to graduation. Do I make myself clear?"
Vesper nodded dramatically as he got up and ran over to hug Luna. "Thank you mommy"
Luna smiled as she nuzzled her son.
Twilight smiled as she checked the flier for dates. "Oh dear, they have a campus tour tomorrow. Maybe we can go check it out."
Luna nodded, "Yeah, from what time?"
"2pm to 6pm. There will be food provided, we get to check out the classrooms, amenities, and the overall layout of the campus." Twilight said as she read off of the flyer.
Vesper nodded, "Then we can go shopping, I want a new saddlebag please!"

Twilight and Luna stood in the crowd of parents waiting to enter the school for a tour. Vesper stuck close to his mother's legs as he looked at the other ponies. There were other kids his age, many more than he has seen at one time.
Vesper fiddled with his tie, and Twilight reached down and fixed it. "Vessy no playing with your tie okay? You have to look presentable."
"Sorry mama," He said.
Some of the younger ponies were playing with one another, but some were looking at Twilight and Luna in amazement.
Vesper heard the whispers from the crowd,
"Look it's Princess Luna."
"Look it's Princess Twilight."
"Wow, they are tall."
"Is that their son?"
"He isn't an Alicorn."
"Are alicorns only females?"
"He's cute."
That last comment left Vesper with a blush, he looked around to see where it had came from. He saw a small group of fillies all giggling and looking at him. He looked around some more and saw one filly was strayed away from the group.
He felt bubbly as he looked at her. She was really pretty, She had two ponytails in her mane. Her mane was pale blue with white highlights. Her mane and tail were both wavy. She had silver eyes and a pale yellow coat.
She was looking back at him, she was blushing slightly as she hid behind her father's hoof, her wings folded tightly to her sides. Her father was a tall built stallion. He had a silver mane, his moustache to match. He had a Dark brown coat. His eyes were silver as well. He had a gavel as his cutie mark and his glasses hung low on his muzzle. His wings
"Justice are you okay?" He asked as he gently patted his daughter.
She looked up and nodded as she hid behind him, her blush still visible as she looked at Vesper. Her father looked at where she was looking and his eyes locked on the Vesper. He cleared his throat as she frowned at the colt.
Vesper gulped as he turned and climbed onto Luna's back. Luna looked back at him and nuzzled her little colt.
Soon the Principal came out of the building and opened the gate wide. "Parents, future students we welcome you to Pembridge Academy."
Vesper jumped off of his mother's back as his eyes lit up. He ran off ahead and Luna yelled out, "Vesper get back here!"
Vesper ran on and tripped over a stone, he tumbled right into the filly from before. The group of fillies laughed at them as they both got up and recovered. The filly blushed as she wiggled from under him.
Vesper jumped back, "Oh I'm sorry about that I'm just extremely excited."
She shook her head as a soft voice escaped her, "That's fine, I'm fine."
The ponies started to walked around them to enter the school grounds.
"Are you excited?" Vesper asked.
"It's just school." She responded.
"Justice! Justice!" Her father yelled.
"Coming!" She yelled back. The filly dusted herself off and started to trot over to her father. Vesper followed her.
"Justice is a pretty name, mine is Vesper." He stated.
"My father named me Justice cause is a Judge in the supreme court. The legal system kinda runs in the family." She stated.
Vesper went to speak until a hoof came smack down a few inches from him. Justice was already on the other side of that hoof. She turned and gasped.
"Who are you, Little one?" The stallion asked.
Vesper backed away and shrunk a little, until he felt someone grab his scruff.
"Terribly sorry about that, he is just overly excited about school." Luna stated. Twilight carried him over and gently placed him on Luna's back.
"Oh princess Luna," The Stallion bowed, the filly bowed also.
"You are fine, no need to bow. I just wanted to apologize for my son." She stated.
"All is forgiven, please…" The stallion said as he stepped aside so that they could enter the school.
Luna and Twilight walked ahead and Vesper looked back, looking at Justice as she disappeared in the crowd.

They were shown all of the classrooms, labs, storage areas, the gym. At the end of the tour Luna was completely okay with the school idea. She loved the campus, the teachers they met seem nice. Luna raised her hoof in the crowd to ask a question.
"So the teachers they are assigned teach them all the way through graduation?" She asked.
The principal nodded, "That's right, so that each teacher will have a close relationship to their students. They get to see them grow and learn, it's like they have a second parent."
Luna nodded as she whispered to Twilight, "I like that ideology"
Twilight nodded. Vesper smiled and bounces excitedly. Luna smiled as she nuzzled her son.
"So Vesper you wanna go here?" Luna asked.
Vesper nodded, "Yes I really wanna go."
Luna looked at Twilight with a cocky grin, "So worry wart are you okay with this."
Twilight pouted, "Hey you where the one that was originally worried."
Luna smiled and kissed her wife's cheek, "I love you dear."
The group was dismissed. Vesper looked into the crowd trying to see if he could find Justice.
Not even a trace. He sighed as he sat on his mother's back.
Luna looked back at Ves, "What is wrong kiddo?"
"I met a really nice filly, but I don't know. Her dad seemed kinda...uptight." Vesper stated.
Luna shook her head, "Nope, no, I refuse." She looked at her wife to see her beaming with joy.
"No ma'am, No sir. I am just now getting calm with the idea of him going to school. Only one topic at a time please. We are not handling this Filly Fiasco. Nope, end of discussion." Luna emphasized.
Twilight frowned at Luna, "I'm afraid for the time being that you mother is right Vesper. You need to focus on your school work. Then maybe when you get older…"
"What are you two talking about, I was just saying she was nice and I wanted to be friends." Vesper stated with a pout on his face.
Luna and Twilight looked at each other worried.
"What were you two talking about?" Vesper asked as he quirked a brow.
"Nothing. Nothing" Twilight and Luna both said as they both scratched the back of their heads embarrassed.
Vesper frowned and shrugged his shoulder, "You know you guys are weird sometimes."

Later on that night Twilight was tucking Vesper into his bed. Luna was watching from the door.
"Mama, when little brother or sister gets here, how will I be able to help if I'm at school?" Vesper asked.
"Well you are off on weekends and you aren't in school all day, you get off at 2." Twilight said as she pulled the blanket up and tucked in the sides.
"And when the foal is old enough, they will go to school with you. You can protect them while at school. Mommy and I can't help if we are at home." Luna said.
Vespers eye widened, "Wait… you guys don't go to school with me?"
Twilight looked confused and shook her head, "No Ves, school is for little colts and fillies to learn independence from their parents. It's the first stage of growing up."
Vespers smile grew as wide as his eyes, "Really?"
Luna and Twilight both nodded.
Vesper jumped outta his covers and onto the bed, "Wow, I already feel like a full grown stallion."
Twilight giggled as she picked him up and used her magic to re-tuck him in. Vesper yawned as he turned to his side and smiled at his mothers. His eyes slowly starting to droop.
Twilight gently kissed his forehead as soft snores escaped from him. She slowly got up and silently made her way out of the room.
Luna shut off his light and left the door open a crack.
Twilight made her way to their bedroom and Luna followed.
"Nice save with the growing up statement dear." Luna said as she securely closed their door.
Twilight nodded, "In a way my love it's true. It is also a way for some very attached mothers to grow independence from their children."
Luna quirked her brow at her wife, "I get the distinct impression you are talking about me."
Twilight giggled.
"That is alright my dear, remember Karma works in mysterious ways." Luna smirked.
Twilight rolled her eyes as she dragged Luna to lay down. "We can worry about Karma tomorrow. I want my wife to cuddle with me now."
Luna smiled as she kissed Twilight lips gently, "When did you become the bold one?"
"Since I am the one carrying our foal." She yawned as she nuzzled into Luna.
Luna reached down and gently rubbed Twilight's stomach. Twilight started to purr ever so gently.
"I have a good feeling about this one." Twilight whispered as Luna kissed her forehead.
