A/N: Hi Guys! Ok, so they're going back to school. Just to clarify, since I managed to screw up some details in my story some chapters back, Austin and Dez are a year older than Ally and Trish, but they're all in 11th grade, and it's like late March right now... so yeah. Kira is Austin's "Ex" I say "Ex" Because they were never really going out, so how about obsessor, because she is obsessed with him. Ok, let's go. Oh yeah, one more thing, all the outfits are on my polyvore!

Disclaimer: I DO NOT OWN AUSTIN AND ALLY OR ANYOTHER REFRENCES USED IN THIS CHAPTER!

Austin's Pov,

"Daddy!Daddy!" I hear Alyssa chorus through the house. Someone's home from the circus I'm guessing.

"Alyssa, Daddy's trying to sleep." Ally's voice rings out from the kitchen.

"Hi, Ally! It's so good to see you," I hear my dads voice.

I guess that I'm not going to sleep then. I was just about to get up when I hear Alyssa's voice again.

"Where's daddy? I can't find him." I can hear the frown in her voice.

"I'm coming princess," I say standing up and walking into the kitchen to join them.

Not only did I have that interview today, but I had to perform at a fundraiser for for the local animal shelter. So, to put it in simple terms, the word tired doesn't begin to cover how I feel. I'm in a pretty pissy mood to, because I haven't got to sleep, so hopefully Ally's almost done with dinner and we can have an early night. Alyssa's starting school tomorrow, so she was already going to bed early... Ally on the other hand, I was probably gonna have to stay awake most the night and assure her that she'd be fine tomorrow.

"Daddy!" Alyssa says, once I enter the kitchen. She runs towards me with her arms open wide.

I bend over catching her in my arms in time for a hug. I pepper her face with kisses as I stand up straight again.

"How Was the circus with grandpa?" I ask sitting down at the kitchen table.

"It was fun, I saw a tapees and they were dancing and falling into the water!" Her eyes lit up as she retold the story.

"Awesome. What circus did you take her to?" I ask turning to my dad.

"Cirque De Soleil, they were in town, and I thought it would be a great expierence for her, and I was right, she had fun, and got to meet a few of the performers." He told me sitting down across from me.

"Sounds tiring," Ally says from the island in the kitchen were she's currently layering the lasagna with cheese.

"Yeah, it was. But, on the bright side, she'll probably be asleep soon." My dad says.

"Hopefully, I need to sleep." I say looking at Alyssa who's playing cut the rope on my Iphone.

"Oh, how was the interview and concert?" My dad asks.

"The interview, ok, we talked about more of the stuff that was on our mind, with the whole... situation, so that only made us stronger I guess." I say to my dad.

I look over at Ally who just put the lasagna in the oven to bake. She wiped her hands off on a kitchen towel, before coming to sit at the table with us.

"The concert was awesome, At least from my point-of-view. Im pretty sure all the animals that Austin helped, are Austin Moon fans forever, so that's good." Ally says smiling at me.

"Thanks. It was good, just, I'm way to tired, and I was just about to sleep and, well, in simple terms, fatherhood came knocking." I say.

"Aww, babe, you didn't get any sleep?" Ally asks.

I shake my head.

"Well, I just wanted to drop her off. She was an angel, not that I expected her to be otherwise. So, you guys take care." My dad said standing up and giving Ally a hug.

I stood up with Alyssa still in my arms to give my dad a hug. "Thanks again Dad. I love you," I say after we release.

"Anytime son. I love you too." My dad says.

"What do you say to grandpa Alyssa?" Ally says from behind me.

"Thank you Grandpa!" Alyssa says reaching over to give him a hug.

He hugs her back kissing her cheek. "Anything for you Lys." He says.

We say one more goodbye, before he leaves and heads home.

"Chicken Alfredo's ready, if you want any." Ally says taking Alyssa from my arms and sitting her in her chair.

"I'm never to tired for your cooking." I say sitting down.

She smiles, and dishes out the food.

I've never actually thought hard about this, but for the past 3 weeks I've been a father... or at least aware I was a father, it's been tiring, non-stop effort, which I don't mind because I love Alyssa, but the point is, imagine how Ally felt the past 2 and a half years. She truly is amazing, the only girl I want or need in my life.

"what're you thinking about?" Ally asks.

"You." I say.

"Is that a good thing..."She trails off.

"Yes, it's always a good thing." I reassure her.

*****************************45 Minutes Later**********************************

I walk back into our room after tucking Alyssa in to bed.

The bathroom light is on so, I'm guessing Ally's in there.

Tomorrow should be fun. I mean, Ally's going back to school with me, it'll be like old times, only this time she's my girlfriend, and everyone knows it. When I was in my sophmore year, the year Ally 'died' I joined the football team, it's a pretty agressive game. The tackling and running and defense stuff is really what kept me for as long as it did from killing myself, the day Ally showed up was pretty good timing. If I had died, Alyssa would've never met her dad or have one, and Ally probably would re-marry, and I rather would have burned in hell, than have thrown all that stuff off balance with me taking my own life, so Thank God that he was watching over me, and brought my angel back to me.

The bathroom door opens, and Ally walks out, her hair thrown up in a messy bun and in her pink tank top and pajama shorts. Im happy to see her natural face without the - very little amount - of make- up she wears, she glows without it.

"Is she asleep?" Ally asks as she slips in between the covers next to me.

"Yeah, it took a while, but she eventually crashed," I say wrapping my arms around Ally as she snuggles up to me.

"She is too attached to you. It's cute, but I'm kinda worried with how clingy she is." Ally says.

"It's nothing you should worry about. I just think, she's still getting used to the idea that she has a dad, and that he's actually here, it'll blow over in no time," I say with a yawn.

I feel her nod against my chest before saying. "Aww, poor baby, you never did get to sleep did you?"

"Nope, but it's fine." He says.

She shakes her head. "No, it's not. Sleep." She says.

"Not if you don't, as long as your awake so am I," I say.

"I'll be fine,"

I let out a yawn again. "sleep, tomorrow will be awesome," I reassure.

I look down and see that she closed her eyes.

"Sing to me Austin," She whispers.

"Ok," I think for a minute before I softly sing

I set out on a narrow way, many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you I looked into her beautiful brown eyes

Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars I moved the strand of hair that was out of place out of her face Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you Yes He did

I think about the years I spent, just passing through
I'd like to have the time I lost, and give it back to you
But you just smile and take my hand I smile at her
You've been there, you understand
It's all part of a grander plan that is coming true

Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you

But now I'm just rolling home into my lover's arms
This much I know is true

That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you

That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you

By the end of the song I hear Ally's soft breathing. Which eventually lulls me to sleep.

Ally's Pov,

I woke up the next morning to the sound of the shower. I turn to my right and check the time on my phone. 6:45

I've been dreading today, only because, I'd have to face Cassidy and Kira. Both Austin's Exes, and likely to make my last years at Marino a living hell.

I get out of bed and walk across the hall to Alyssa's room.

She's sitting up with tears in her eyes.

"Aww, what's wrong baby?" I ask sitting down she crawls into my lap.

"I had a bad dream." She says into my tank top.

"Do you wanna tell mommy what it was about?" I ask.

"You died." was all she said.

I hug her tightly. "Mommy's not going anywhere. She's going to stay right here with you,"

15 Minutes Later

I walk back into Alyssa's room and dress her in a purple shirt that says Daddy's Little Star.

"Mommy I want these shorts," She says pulling out white Levi's toddler Shorty Shorts.

"Ok," I help her slide them on.

I slip on her light blue and white butterfly socks. and her purple converse.

"Ok, lets go see if daddy's ready." I say grabbing her hand and walking across the hall.

I knock on the door. " Austin, are you dressed?" I ask through the door.

"Yeah, come in," He says.

We walk in.

"Hey babe," He says giving me a quick peck on the lips.

"Hi," I say.

"Hi princess," Austin says lifting Alyssa onto the bed.

she waves at him.

"What's wrong?" Austin asks, holding Alyssa to his body.

"Nightmare," I answer, pulling out my gray sweater, black tank top and boot cut hollister jeans, tossing them on the bed.

I then proceed to walk into the bathroom.

We pull into the school parking lot, I turn around to look at Alyssa.

"Are your ready?" I ask her.

"Mmm-hmm," She nods.

I step out of the car, as Austin goes to the backseat to get her.

I grab her Hello Kitty backpack which is full of her lunch, jacket and blankie for naptime.

"Let's rock," Austin says holding Alyssa in his arms.

He reaches for my hand and intertwines our fingers.

"Springstone Academy? Fancy preschool," he says.

"yeah, I guess, but she's kinda behind because I couldn't afford actual preschool. And this way, I'll know she's safe because she's at a good school," I say. Austin squeezes my hand and lets out a laugh.

"It's preschool Ally." He say.

I roll my eyes as we enter the building, to see the receptionist.

" Good Morning!" She choruses cheerfully.

"Morning," Austin and I reply back.

"Are you guys dropping her off?" She asks, referring to Alyssa.

"Yeah," Austin says.

"ok, sign her in here," she says pointing to a clipboard.

I pick up the pen, and fill in:

Name: Alyssa Nicole Moon Age:2/3 Sign-in: Ally Dawson & Austin Moon

I read her name tag before continuing, "Err, Stephanie, either my mom or his mom is gonna pick her up, so if Penny Dawson or Mimi Moon comes to sign her out, it's ok for her to leave with them."

"Um, Ok. I'll just make a note, you guys, can go ahead and drop her off to class." Stephanie says turning her attention back to her computer screen.

I open the door that leads into a brightly colored hallway. Austin and Alyssa are following behind me as I look for the 3's room.

"And were here," I say as we reach a brightly colored door with butterflies and bee stickers scattered around the wall.

"Mommy, I don't wanna go," Alyssa says pouting.

"Honey, you have to. If you don't like it, I'll be back in 5 minutes," I say.

"No!" She shakes her head and I can see the tears glistening in her eyes.

"Princess, can you go to school for Daddy?" Austin asks.

She shakes her head again and buries her face in the crook of his neck.

"Alyssa, no tears please," I plead with her.

"I wanna go home," she whines.

"Ok, Princess," Austin starts wiping her tears. "If you go to school for just 30 minutes, then I'll be right back here to take you home,"

"You promise?" She asks.

"Promise," Austin says.

"Daddy'll take you in ok," I say, she nods in response. "Good, Mommy loves you."

"I love you too," she replies, I kiss her forehead, and Austin takes her in.

A/N: Hey, so, this one was too long, so I'm gonna start Austin and Ally's school day, next chapter. This story, Is also coming to it's end, but don't worry, there will be a sequel, and lots more ups and downs! Um, yeah, tomorrow's Veteran's day, so thank a Veteran, for all they've done for you! I'll be visiting my Poppy's grave to thank him for his service, and then there's a little gathering at the base tomorrow, so there's that too. I probably won't update for a while, but life's hectic and so is middle School.
