The next morning at school I got there early so I decided to head to the art room. When I got there I walked in on Malia hovering over Lydia as she tried to draw. It was obvious that Lydia was uncomfortable and as much as I wanted to get to know Malia more I did not want to get involved in whatever the hell that was. So I slowly and quietly exited the room before either of them noticed I was there.

As I started down the hall I got a text from Jared.

Hey what you doing? He said to me.

School.I texted him back.

What you doing after school?

It's the first game of the season. Going to watch Scott.I told him.

Skip it. Come hang out with me. We will have a good time I promise.

No. I promised Scott I would go.

So.

I really can't.

Fine whatever. Forget you.

I could not believe him. He is such an ass. Why would he just assume I would drop everything to go hang out with him? I really was getting sick of the people in this town.

Right before class was about to start Lydia stormed out of the art room followed by Malia. She looked upset.

"I can't just turn this on. I'm not like you guys. I don't." Lydia was saying but I could not hear the rest of it.

She took a step closer to Malia.

"I just have voices in my head." Lydia said to her.

At that moment Lydia and Malia started to look around the hall noticing that everyone and myself had heard her.

Lydia looked like she was going to cry. She then stormed away. Malia watched after her I could tell Lydia wanted to be alone. So I walked over to Malia.

"What was that about?" I asked Malia.

"Nothing really. Lydia is just having a hard day." She said to me.

"Why is it that everyone insists on lying to me about everything?" I asked her.

"No one is lying to you." She said to me obviously lying.

"Malia I know you're not telling me the truth."

"I really have no idea what you're talking about." She said to me.

"Fine whatever. Continue to lie. But don't expect me to act like there's nothing going on. If you don't want to tell me the truth then I don't want to talk to you." I told her before walking out.

I walked outside to get some air and just in time to see Liam storm over to some guy who was getting off the other school bus. Liam looked angry and I was beyond curious as to what was going to happen.

"I just wanted to say have a good game." Liam said as he reached out his hand to shake.

The kid did not take it.

Scott walked over and stood next to me. A few seconds later Stiles appeared. He is never too far away from Scott.

The kid just started laughing at Liam. Laughing right in his face. It made me kind of angry. I was not close to Liam. I barely knew him but he was Scott's friend and he seemed nice and I did not like the way this kid was treating him.

"Thank you. Liam is that what they told you to say in anger management. Apologize and everything's fine. You demolished coach's car." The kid said to him.

I could not help but smile. So Liam had some anger issues. At least I'm not the only one who had been to anger management.

"I paid for it." Liam responded.

"No you're going to pay for it. I'm going to break you in half out there." He threatened Liam.

Before I could even react to how mean this kid was being Scott and Stiles ran up and stopped Liam from attacking him.

"Wow hey hey." Scott said.

"Hey what's going on prep school students? Welcome to our little public high school." Stiles said to the kid as he tried to reach out his hand for him to shake.

Again the kid did not take it.

"That's a firm handshake." He said sarcastically. "Were very excited for the scrimmage but let's keep it clean all right. No rough stuff out there. Alright see you on the field." Stiles said to the kid before him and Scott pulled Liam back into the school.

"What's up with them?" David asked once they were gone.

"I don't know." I said.

Before I could get anymore into the conversation the kid who was being beyond rude to my friends was standing in front of me.

"High I'm Brett." He said to me.

"And I'm seriously not interested." I told him wiping the smart ass smile right off his face.

"And why is that?" He asked me.

"It's simple really. Scott is my brother and Liam is kind of a friend." I told him.

"I did not know Scott had a sister." He said to me like being Scotts sister was the most important thing in the world.

"And I did not know you knew Scott. See we both learned something today." I said to him before I turned to walk away.

"Wait." He said as he reached out to grab my wrist.

"Let her go now or you will lose that hand." David said to him.

He looked to David then let my wrist go.

"Let's go." I said to David and he gladly followed me away from that creep.

The rest of the day went by in a blur. Nothing to eventful happened. So I was more than excited when it was finally time for the game to start. It was night time and the game was about to start. I was sitting in the bleachers watching the team get ready. Scott was talking to Kira. Stiles ran over to them. He was on the phone. He hung up and then went to sit next to them. A few seconds later David sat down next to me. He handed me a coke.

"A coke for my best friend." He said.

"Thanks." I said as I took a sip.

I love coke.

I looked out onto the field trying to get a feel for this game that I knew nothing about. When I saw Brett standing in the middle of the field. He was standing there shirtless obviously not caring that people could see. I mean he did have a perfect body. He noticed me looking and winked at me.

"What a jerk." David said, he obviously saw Brett looking at me.

"Is someone jealous?" I teased him.

"No, but Liam does." He said as he pointed to Liam.

He was talking to his best friend who was checking out Brett. Liam did not look to happy that his friend was checking out the enemy.

Everyone was running onto the field but Scott stopped and turned back to Coach.

"Hey McCall, I said get your ass on the field." Coach yelled at him.

Scott said something back but I could not hear. All I could hear was Coaches loud laughter.

Then Brett decided to take a cheap shot by throwing the ball at Liam when he was not ready for it. But he caught it anyway, with his bare hand.

Everyone was silent for a few second then the whistle blew and the crowd erupted with cheers.

The game started and Brett had gotten the ball. It took him all of one minute to throw the ball and score the first point of the game.

Scott, stiles, and Kira took a second to talk before splitting back up onto the field.

Scott again stood up against Brett for the ball. Brett again got the ball. I could not help but wonder what was going on. I thought Scott was supposed to be really good. Liam tried to run at him but got stopped by a brick wall of number six and number thirty-nine. He was thrown right back to the ground at the same time Brett scored again. It was now two to one.

Liam got up from the ground and ripped of his helmet and gloves. He was about to start a fight with the two guys who knocked him down. He lunged at them but Scott and Stiles stopped him. They walked away and he seemed to sort of calm down. As I had been watching Liam these last few days I found myself growing more and more fond of him. We were a lot alike. There was no dying it.

Stiles was now facing off against some really big guy. Luckily Slites was quicker than him and was able to get the ball. He threw it to Kira and she looked shocked as she caught it. Then she took off running. I could not help but jump up and cheer for her.

She was bobbing and weaving threw players like it was nothing. Coach was yelling for her to pass but she did not listen. Instead she jumped in between two guys spinning in the air and somehow scored. The score was now two to one. I was so proud that she scored the first score of the game.

She jumped up and cheered as well. Then she ran to Scott. Coach called her over and then for some bullshit reason told her she was benched.

"Why?" Kira asked him.

"You did not pass." He yelled at her.

"I had an open shot." She said to him.

"I called for you to pass this is a scrimmage the point is to scrimmage. You're benched." He yelled at her and pointed to the bench.

She looked back to Scott then took her seat. I could not believe this.

"Where you going?" David asked me when I stood up.

"Im going to check on Kira." I told him then left his side.

I quickly made my way down to her.

"You know that was complete bullshit." I said to Kira when I sat next to her.

"Coach was rite." She responded.

"No he was not. You had the shot you took it you scored. That's all that matters. Winning is all that matters." I told her.

I did not know if she believed me but she smiled at me before turning back to watch the rest of the game.

The whistle blew again and again Brett got the ball. Two players from our team ran at him trying to stop him and he just ran into both of them knocking them both to the ground but he fell to. All of them taking a bad spill. We watched on as none of them got up. Brett was screaming and so was Liam who I just realized was in the mess. Scott ran over and started to help Liam up. The medics came over and took Brett off the field. Scott was looking at Liam worried but he looked to be okay from up here.

I ran down to the field once most people cleared out.

"Are you okay?" I asked Liam.

"Yeah I'm fine." He answered.

"I talked to Coach." Stiles said as he walked up with his phone.

Once Stiles appeared they all walked away from me leaving me on the field to go talk in privet like they always do. I knew David was waiting for me but there was no way I was letting them get away with this again. I followed after them. I made shore to keep my distance but I followed Scott. There was no way I was letting them lie to me anymore.

I followed Scott into the school and down the hall that led to the locker room. The second he turned the corner he took off running. I peeked around the corner to see he was checking on the paramedic who was lying unconscious on the floor. He stayed there for only a second before running into the locker room.

I slowly made my way down the hall when I heard the sounds of a struggle coming from the locker room. I hurried down the hall and into the locker room. What I saw was surprising. One of Liam's friends. I did not know her name but she was standing there trying to strangle Scott. Before I could even react I was frozen in place. I was frozen by a deep growl. Then Scott slowly started to spin around pulling the wire from his neck.

When I could finally see his face his eyes were glowing red. He easily snapped the wire and grabbed her by the throat. Lifting her off the ground with ease. He slammed her back into the hard tile wall. He then let go and she fell to the floor. I was not shore if she was unconscious or dead.

At that moment Stiles came running into the room. He was running so fast he ran right into me, almost knocking me over. It was then that Scott realized I was standing there.

"Thana." Scott said as he took a step closer to me.

I did not mean to but I took a step back bumping right into Stiles.

"I can explain everything but Stiles I think you better call your dad." Scott said.

"What the hell is going on Scott?" I asked him.

"It's hard to explain." Scott said to me not really answering my question again.

"Well let's start with why was she trying to kill you? Is she dead? And what the hell happened to your eyes?" I asked him one right after the other.

"We don't have time for this right now. I'll explain everything later but for now you have to trust me." He said to me.

"Trust you. Are you kidding me? I don't trust you. Hell I don't even know you. You have done nothing but lie to me. Why would I trust you?" I asked him.

"Because I'm your brother." He said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Blood does not guarantee trust. If you want me to trust you tell me what is going on." I snapped t him.

He did not answer me. he just stood there silent which was pissing me off more than his lying.

Stiles hung up his phone then walked back over to us.

"For crying out loud he's a werewolf." Stiles said to me.

"Stiles!" Scott yelled at him.

"Don't look at me like that. She was going to find out eventually." Stiles answered to Scott.

The two of them continued to bicker but I could not get past the fact that Stiles said werewolf.

"If you guys don't want to tell me the truth that's fine but come up with a better excuse." I told them.

I turned to leave when Scott grabbed me by the arm. I look down at his hand to see he had grown long, sharp, dark finger nails.

I looked up at his face to see he had fully changed. His eyes were red like before but he had grown fangs and his ears were pointed. His entire face looked distorted but somehow it was still him.

I pulled my arm away from him.

"Oh my god you're telling the truth." I said to them.

"Surprise." Stiles responded when he noticed that Scott was not going to say anything.

"So this is what you have been hiding from me. That you're a werewolf?" I asked him.

"Yep." He said.

"Well technically he's the Alpha." Stiles told me.

"Stiles shut up." Scott said to him.

"An Alpha. Like the leader. So that means you have a pack." I said to him then the realization hit me.

"Oh my god. Everyone, all of them are werewolves. All your friends." I said to him.

"No. There not werewolves." Scott answered me.

"Well some of them are." Stiles replied.

"Who else?" I asked.

"Liam, Derek, and Peter, Brett, some others you don't know." Scott told me.

"So that's it?" I asked.

"Not really." Stiles answered.

"What do you mean not really?" I asked them.

"Well, Malias a werecyote, Kira is a kitsune." Scott started.

"A what?" I asked.

"It's like a fox with thunder powers." Stiles answered.

"Who else?" I asked getting annoyed.

"That's it." Scott said.

"What about you?" I asked Stiles. "What are you?"

"Happy to have another human in the group." He said to me.

I could not help but smile. It was not long before police started to show up and ushered us out of the locker room. We were in the hall for only a few minutes. In that time Scott tried his best to fill me in on what was going on with the assassins and the dead pool. A few seconds later we I saw dad running towards us.

He ran up to us and pulled Scott into a hug. When he let him go he looked him over before he was able to relax.

"Are you okay?" Scott asked for the thousandth time.

"Dad really I'm okay." Scott answered him for the thousandth time.

"What about you?" He asked me.

"I'm fine." I answered him.

"I should have been here. I said I would be at the games." Dad responded.

"It's just a preseason scrimmage. I knew." Scott tried to explain but dad cut him off.

"I promised your mom I could be around. Sense she's picking up double shifts at the hospital. I should have been here." He said repeating himself.

"Your hear now." Scott told him.

At that moment Perish walked out of the locker room with that bitch in handcuffs. I wanted her to be scared but she just looked angry. The Sheriff followed closly behind them.

"Jordan Perish?" She asked.

"Deputy Perish." He responded as he continued to push her down the hall.

All of us looked at her as she walked by us with a smile on her face. I looked over to dad who looked beyond pissed. He almost looked like he was going to reach out and strangle this girl.

Pulled out of his stare Dad started to follow after them.

"Sheriff what is that? Is that the weapon?" He asked pointing at the bag in his hand.

"Yeah it's a thermal cut wire." Sheriff answered.

Dad did not respond he just ran off down the hall.

"Perish hold up." Dad called down the hall.

We started to follow him but Liam stepped out from around the corner and into our way. He quickly stopped walking.

"Weres Kira?" Was the first thing out of Scott's mouth.

Liam did not answer he just looked at me.

"It's okay she knows." Scott told him.

"You're a werewolf right?" I asked him.

He just shook his head and then turned to answer Scott.

"She went home. Stiles told her about Lydia cracking the second part of the dead pool." He answered.

"Her mom's on it." Scott said.

"Were all on it." Liam replied.

"You're not." Scott told him trying to make him feel better.

"Lucky you." I added in to the conversation.

"There's still another third." Liam reminded us.

I was about to say something but Scott just totally zoned out. Followed by Liam who seemed to have the same look on his face.

"What?" I asked the two of them.

"Shhh." Scott quickly told me.

"You did not just shush me." I snapped back at him.

Scott responded by placing his hand over my mouth so it was impossible for me to speak.

"Dad said there name is The Orphans and they have killed over twelve people." Scott told me what him and Liam had overheard.

"Coach I'm going to need both their locker numbers and someone find me a set of bolt cutters." Sheriff yield out.

Coach walked away and someone else walked down the hall who I was not expecting to see there. Peter came around the corner and was walking toward us.

"You better get out of here before I place you under arrest." Sheriff said to him as he stepped in between us.

"What are you doing here Peter?" Scott asked him.

"Is it so hard to believe that I have come to help?" He asked.

"Yes." Both Scott and Sheriff answered at the same time.

"Well I am. I herd what happened and thought I would lend a hand." Peter answered.

"Brett's not here. They took him to the vet." I told him not believing the words that had just left my lips.

"Well then I guess I should get going." He said as he turned to walk away.

"Wait." I called out after him.

He turned back and looked at me but did not say anything at all. He just looked at me waiting for me to speak.

"I want to come." I said to him.

Peter smiled but Scott did not let him reply.

"I don't think so." Scott said to me.

"It's not your choice. I want to learn about that all this shit and I can't do that with dad watching everything we do." I told Scott.

"I agree with Scott you should stay here." Sheriff said to me.

"I'll be fine. He drove me home before and we will be going to the vets where Stiles is. I'll be okay." I told the both of them.

"Thana please." Scott pleaded with me.

"I'm going." I told him.

I could see that he did not want to let me go but he also knew I was going to do what I wanted and no one was going to stop me.

"Let's get going." Peter said to me.

I gave him a quick node and hurried out of the school before my father realized I was gone.
