I want to apologize to all my readers for this chapter being so short as well as taking forever to come out I had major writers block then I got new computer which took me ages to get my stories on it and able to write. "Umm…Kanda thanks for giving me a ride home" Allen says quietly, as he glances towards his feet with embarrassment.
"Che Whatever, I was leaving anyways" Kanda replied with a hint of red dusting his cheek, as he glances towards Allen's profile then quickly looks away.
Damn the sprout looks cute when he does that! Kanda thought as he tries to focus on the road ahead.
"Oh…well thanks anyways" Allen mumbled as he looks out the window.
"Whatever you damn sprout" Kanda grumbles while turning on the radio, in order to ease some of the tension between the two, as they drove in silence. while the song The Wheel In The Sky By: Journey plays in the background.
Meanwhile at the diner...
"So Lavi, What exactly happened between you and Allen anyways" Lenalee asked, as she leans towards Lavi with an innocent smile, while the others at the table turned towards them with curiosity.
"Yeah Lavi what is this about an almost Kiss, Huh?" Daisya asked with a smirk.
"Umm.. Well you know how it is when your adrenaline starts pumping, and it hypes you up. where there's a moment that your heart starts ramming into your chest and your eyes lock, and you get the urge to kiss them, well that's kind of how it was." Lavi says while glancing towards the table with a slight blush as he traces the pattern with his finger.
"We were so close that is until some guy bumped into Allen and we both ended up on the floor which totally spoiled the mood." Lavi said with a scowl.
"After that I took him home then went home myself." Lavi sighed.
"But that Doesn't explain why you guys were fighting just now" Lenalee pointed out.
"Oh yeah, well I went to pick him up this morning, but when I got there. Allen looked a bit pale so I asked him what was wrong. He said that he didn't sleep well, but I think it was because he was mad about what happened last night. So I tried to apologize by telling him it was a moment of insanity, and that it wouldn't happen again." Lavi stated.
"Oh, Well that explains the fight then" Lenalee says with sigh.
"Hey what do you mean that explains the fight!? I don't get it." Lavi yells with confusion.
"Seriously Lavi, sometime you can be such an idiot" Lenalee says while shaking her head, at said idiot.
"Hey now Lenalee, that hurts" Lavi pouts, while the others shake there heads at Lavi's stupidity.
"Lavi, did it ever occur to you to think before you speak?" Lenalee asks while tapping her finger on the table, as she glances towards Lavi.
"What? of course I do, Geez Lenalee" Lavi answers with a scowl as he crosses his arms.
"Really, Lavi?" lenalee says with a look of doubt, as she crosses her arms challenging him.
"OK! maybe not always, but most the time I do" Lavi pouts, while throwing his hand up in defeat.
"But It still doesn't explain, why Allen's mad at me so could you please enlighten me, being that your so smart that is?" Lavi says with a hint of sarcasm as he glares towards Lenalee.
"Why yes, I would love to explain your act of stupidity, seen as you're the only dense one here. I'll even be nice enough to explain it, in a way you'll understand." Lenalee says while glaring at Lavi, while the others snicker.
"Well then explain" Lavi says with a glare.
"Basically in a round about way you told Allen that only an insane person would kiss him." Lenalee states.
"Huh?! what No! you got it wrong" Lavi says with a frown while trying to place what he said.
"Yes Lavi you did." Lenalee answers with a glare.
"No way... how?" Lavi replies with a scowl while looking at lenalee like she was insane.
"First off Allen likes you which, obviously you haven't noticed. secondly, Put your self in Allen's shoes Lavi. If Allen told you he was sorry for almost kissing you and that it was a moment of insanity and wont happen again. how would you feel knowing that you like him and all." Lenalee asks triumphantly as she glances towards the idiot who's turning pale.
"Oh Shit, I am an idiot." Lavi says as he continuously bangs his head on the table.
"Yes you are." Lenalee says with a sigh as she shakes her head.
"I really need to talk with him huh." Lavi asked quietly, with his head still on the table.
"If You want to work it out, then yeah." Lenalee states calmly.
"Well I guess I am off to the lion's den then" Lavi gulps as he raises his head and stands up.
"Would any of you guys like to accompany me" Lavi pleads towards the crowd.
"I am not that stupid" Daisya mumbles while the others shout NO.
"Geez, thanks a lot guys" Lavi pouts as he heads towards the door slowly.
