As we got towards the cavern, we noticed that two younger Buizels were standing near the entrance. When we approached them, the littlest one giggled and ran out in front of us. He ran around us in a circle and wagged his little tail, before stopping in front of us. I have to admit; at much as I've seen a lot of cute things, this little Buizel by far is the cutest.
"Hi, I'm Ruko!" he said happily, proudly proclaiming his name.
"Hi, Ruko," Sasuke said smiling at him and held the bag (which by the way, he would be the one in charge of holding the bag throughout the whole mission until I mention it later), "How are you?"
"Bored, to be honest. I've been standing here with my brother waiting for some team to come along and start something about a test thingy," the little guy said, swaying back and forth.
"Ruko! Don't go running off where I can't – Oh, hello," we heard someone say as the other Buizel came over, "I take it that you're Team Believers, correct?"
"Yes, that would be us," Sasuke answered, looking at him, "I take it you two are the ones who let us through and time us?"
"Yup! My name is Guruko; very nice to meet you. And this is the cutest Buizel you'll ever see who I'm honored to have as my little brother, Ruko," the Buizel said.
Ruko giggled and blushed as he tried to hide his face. As he felt he couldn't hide it by himself, he quickly hugged onto Guruko and buried his face into his older brother. He giggled as Guruko smiled at us.
"He's really modest when it comes to comments about him. So, you all ready to go in?" he asked as he pulled out a stop watch.
"Yes, please," Sasuke said as we all readied to hurry.
"All right... get ready... aaaaaaannnnnnd... GOOOO!" Guruko shouted as Ruko cheered.
With that, he started our timer clock and we all rushed into the cavern to start our mission.

We had gotten a fairly good amount of ground inside of the cavern to realized this place was extremely dark and deep into the ground. There was really cool beautiful pink and greenish-teal crystals everywhere. They glistened all around, allowing some light to be seen around the area. And King's tail flame extremely helped light up the pathway for us as we began to make it further in.
"Okay, so I'm gonna break up the silence and ask if you or Batsu have come up with a plan yet?" Zev said, running past a slab of the wall sticking out.
"Well, so far, I'm thinking right now," Sasuke said as he jumped over a small-type boulder.
"I am trying to think of a strategy for us fighting Gabite as of now," Batsu said, "What we know is that Gabite will most likely try to fight close range, but use speed to confuse us. But so far, I have an idea that involves Zev being the one that protects and rescues Elek in the most probably manner."
"All right! So, we pretty much got a plan ready and now we can go rescue Elek!" Naruto cheered happily, closing his eyes, "I can't wait to-"
"NARUTO! WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING!" Zev yelled, cutting him off.
As the Poochyena opened his eyes to look back and ask Zev why he yelled at him, he suddenly gasped as his body began to fall off the path we were running and into the pitch-black depths of the pathway cliff. I gasped in horror as he started to disappear out of my vision. He yelped in fear as Sasuke, Batsu, and Zev dove behind him and grabbed his legs and tail. The puppy whimpered in fear as his upper body dangled from the cliff and he stared at what could have been his pathetic but miserable fate. Slowly, the three pulled him back up to safety. As soon as all four legs were on the ground, Naruto skidded far away from the edge and sat down, having the anime white eyes that had a tiny tear on them as we all stopped.
"Wh-whooooaaa... Th-th-that was scary..." he shivered and said, voice trembling.
"Y-You idiot!" King said, bonking him on the head with a concerned yet ticked off voice, "You nearly freaking died because you weren't paying attention!"
"I... I-I'm sorry..." Naruto said, closing his eyes after his head was bonked.
"Sigh... at least you're okay, Naruto," Sasuke said, smiling at him, "That's the most important thing."
As the four walked near the edge to look for a way, I decided my brother needed a dire bit of cheering up. He looked really embarrassed as he blushed with a sad frown. I walked over to his side and immediately hugged his head, scratching underneath his chin. He suddenly gasped a bit in shock when I grabbed him, but slowly looked at me with a cheerful smile and leaned his head into my arms more. He whined in pleasure and his tail began wagging again as I continued to comfort him. While we snuggled, the others began to work on a plan.
"Well, we can't go forward; there's no pathway," Zev said, looking across the gorge where we needed to get across to the pathway inside.
"It means we're going to have to try that intensely narrow pathway there," Sasuke said, pointing to the left, where a tiny pathway that went around the left side of the gorge.
"...Let me try it," Batsu said as he walked over.
"Okay, but I'm gonna be right behind you. Just in case you need help," Sasuke said as he walked behind him.
Perfectly positioning himself against the wall, he began to try to shimmy across the wall by shuffling his feet side-to-side. It was incredible and really breath-taking how Batsu stayed focused. He never looked down into the gorge, he never got a bit rattled, and he never asked to come back and give up. He kept going until about going one-fourth of the way, then he came back. Sasuke held out his paw, with the attempting member taking it and coming back to us.
"Well... it's doable, but I highly not recommend trying this," the Riolu said.
"What? But you just got done like doing a good chunk of it!" King said, folding his arms.
"That is so, but to consider if all of us went at the same time. What if one of us were to stumble and start to fall? There is nothing to grab onto to support us, so if others tried to help the falling person, they would stumble and fall as well. It's too risky, especially if we have no knowledge of what's down there," Batsu explained.
"Okay, fine," King said, grumbling a bit, "So, then, what are we supposed to do?"
"We try plan B," Sasuke said, smiling with his eyes closed.
"Annnnnnnnd what exactly is plan B?" King asked.
"See how there are crystals sticking out of the ceiling like that, so they look like ledges?" our leader explained, pointing at them, "Zev is going to take us one by one over there by jumping on them like ledges."
"Wait a hell of a minute!" King said, completely taken back by shock and blushing as he shouted, "So, you're saying I have to be carried by that loser like a toy?!"
"Don't worry, King," Zev said with a slight smirk as he looked away, "It's not like I will drop you on purpose... maybe."
"NOT funny, gecko!" King snapped at him with a growl and menacing look.
"King, I can understand why this is a bit awkward and uncomfortable to you, but it's either this or we stand here for the rest of our three hour time limit, fail the exam, then go back to listen to a lecture from Whiscash Elder on why we should've crossed this gorge to save our client," Sasuke said, a sweatdrop going down his head.
Batsu closed his eyes and said turning his head away, "I mean no disrespect to the Elder, but his lectures can be painful to listen to, especially when they're over two hours."
"Rrgh, all right... but then I'm going first. Just so I can get this dang thing over with. Zev, grab me and let's get going..." King grumbled.
Zev smirked as he slowly wrapped his arms around the Charmeleon. Blushing and ignoring the giggles from me and Naruto who just looked over to see the sight, he snorted angrily as the Grovyle jumped against the wall to the right and made his way across the rooftop. It was kinda cool to watch Zev show his stuff as he finished to the other side and dropped King off. I watched him fold his arms with a scowl yet a blush too. I laughed at that as our teammate came back and one by one, helped us across. When it was my turn, I gasped at the sudden adrenaline within me react to being jumped high and whooshing (I know, lame choice of words) past all the different types of colored crystals. I was a bit scared when he jumped off and fell to the other side where he dropped previous teammates off, because it went faster and faster due to gravity. But after he dropped me off, I smiled happily that it was over for me and waited for him to bring the last one over, which was Sasuke.
"All right, looks like it worked!" Sasuke said excitedly, "Now we can continue on from here."
"It seems that we might have to worry about pathway troubles throughout this whole cavern," Batsu stated.
"Yeah, but I'm glad we decided to do a quick route thanks to Zev," I said, looking down, "I would've been completely mortified during the whole time about falling if we had decided to shimmy down that narrow cliff way."
"You probably would've shaken so much, you would end up falling off, pipsqueak," King teased me, grinning.
"Sh-shut up! It's not like you volunteered to try it first!" I said, trying to defend myself from his taunting.
King widened his eyes at the fact I made a good comeback and said, "H-Hey! That's because-"
"Okay, enough, you two," Sasuke said, cutting him off but silencing both of us, "We need to focus on this mission now."
"All right! Let's get a move on!" Naruto cheered as he began to run into the pathway that lead into a tunnel.
"Hey, Naruto! Be careful or you'll almost fall off another cliff!" Zev called out.
Suddenly, the Poochyena (I swear to you that this happened) stopped in mid-air. He yelped and ran back to us, quickly hiding behind Sasuke. He giggled embarrassingly as he smiled at our leader.
"O-On second thought, how about you lead the way, Sasuke? After all, you're the leader!" he said, trying to mask his possible fear I thought I heard in his voice.
"Idiot..." King groaned.
"All right, let's get going," Sasuke nodded and motioned for all of us to follow him.
As we began to move, I began to think about how it was cool that we were able to work as a team. I mean, despite Zev and King's relationship, King being... King, and Naruto and my clumsiness, we all functioned pretty greatly together in situations that called for it. I had no clue whether we would be an effective team in the future or how long we would stay as a team, but I knew that as long as we kept a positive attitude (the majority of us, anyway) and did our very best, we were going to pass this exam. I just hope that none of us gets horrible injured in any way. Now, I know what happens soon, for this is my story I'm telling, but I'll leave you with this cliff-hanger (Heh, pun intended).
As I began to walk, I felt really cold. Why was it that I felt like one of the team was going to be hurt... badly...?
