Girl Falls into One Piece
Christmas Special I
Edit: 7/5/2016 Time: 5:40 am
Eric Perry was up at 8 in the morning on Christmas. He grinned when he realized what day it was as he threw on some day clothes (his dad hated when we walked in pajamas when it was the next day). He came down stairs and saw his father with coffee in his hand and a newspaper in the other and his mother at the stove. A normal morning. He would see his big sister Mace with her music on in the corner…
A frowned was on his face when he remembered she was missing for months with no contact. His mom was more upset even if this disappearance managed to wake her up and even if his father didn't say anything, he knew he was upset. He felt saw him lost with an expression that had something to do with regret. He never said anything because of his famous temper and how he didn't like dealing with emotions like Mace herself.
He always wondered if that was why they didn't get along because they were so alike. He shook his head and knew she would not want him thinking about her like this on this day. Mace and their father made a sort of truce not to fight on this day. He ate breakfast when his mother put everything on the table and they finished that pretty quickly. He even decided to help with the dishes.
Soon enough everything was clean and they went into the living room where the Christmas tree was. It was a good 8 feet tall and had those gold streaming things he could never remember the name of, ornaments of all kinds and green, red and blue lights. The tree was something his father didn't care to have in an order. It was a free for all.
A couch was around it and they all sat on one, he in the middle of both his parents. Presents were under the tree and despite missing his sister, he wiggled in his seat a little and was excited. His mother said. "Go ahead, honey."
He smiled at her and sat on his knees at the base of the tree. He opened one and saw that X-box 360 that he wanted. It had a lot of Call of Duty and War games. He grinned and got normal things like clothes and others. He smiled and said. "Thanks Mom, Thank you Father!"
His dad had a smile and his mom was positively beaming. He had fun all Christmas and put his sister at the back of his mind. He decided he had a good Christmas and then they had a good Christmas dinner that consisted of turkey, stuffing, homemade potato salad, salad and cranberry sauce (sliced).
He then set up him game and played for a while. His parents were already in their room and as he went to lie down in bed at around 2:00 am, he could not sleep for about 2 more hours and could not figure out why. He was full, he had fun and played his games, he just got out of the bathroom after he had a drink.
But when he did fall asleep, he finally figured out what was the problem, he missed his big sister and no matter how much presents he gets or how fun it is, without her it will never be the same again.
3rd POV Perry's parent's bedroom
U.S Army man Hal Perry sighed as he sat laid next to his wife on the bed. She was Jolene Perry and she mirrored her husband's actions. Jolene asked. "It's been half a year."
Hal gave a grunt. "I know this."
Jolene sighed more annoyed and anxious this time. "What are the chances of her coming home at all?"
Hal said. "Slim, but I think it's possible, but there is a problem..."
His wife gave him a look. "A problem?"
He gave a snort and then chuckled in amusement. "If she wants to be found than she'll show up and if something happened to her, we have to wait. I'll see what I can do. Plus 6 months is not that long. Some people disappear of a year or years."
Jolene said. "I know, I miss my baby girl. We were so wrong!"
She suddenly shouted. Hal turned over with a bitter smile and mumbled as he closed his eyes. "I know."
Mace's POV (Dadan's hut)
I was curled into a ball sleeping and then something crashed into me. So on instinct, my eyes flashed open and I grabbed the think that did. I heard laughing and I knew that laugh from anywhere. "Luffy. Why?"
I was tired. He said. "Christmas!"
I blinked, my first Christmas without my real family. I swallowed the slight lump in my throat and remembered Luffy was with me. I smiled at him and yawned as I let him go and sat up. I asked. "Where are Ace and Sabo?"
Luffy grinned and pulled me to my feet by my arm. I looked over to see a scowling and glaring Ace and a happy and smiling Sabo. We ran out the hut with Dadan yelling at us. Before we left I stuck my head back in and grinned at her and some of the bandits around. "Merry Christmas!"
I was a bit surprised when the bandits colored red and Dad was a little pink as she yelled throwing something at me (Which I ducked). "Get out of here, you dumb brat!"
I grinned and ran after Ace, Sabo and Luffy. Ace and Sabo laughed while Luffy looked confused. We ran off and caught some fish, one for each of us. Ace and Sabo made fires and proceeded to cook them. We were in the forest in open space and I didn't mention, but it was snowing. We all had on jackets, thought they were not heavy so I was a little cold.
The fish were done soon enough as I played with the snow by making snow balls and pilling them on top of each other. We ate quickly and it made me full. I laid face down into the snow on my stomach with my arms crossed under my head, the food making me a little sleepy. Sabo and Ace were talking about something. Suddenly, Luffy was whining in my ear. "Mace! Play with me."
I shook my head. "Go away."
He pouted at me. "Please."
I stayed firm and still said no. It was quiet and then I felt a cold wet slush inside of my shirt. So I reacted by rolling around in the snow and yelling. "Ah, cold, cold! It's COLD!"
Ace, Luffy and Sabo were laughing at me. I then launched myself at them and grabbed a hold of Sabo and threw a wad of snow in the back of his clothes. He grabbed a snow ball and I ducked and it hit Luffy. Luffy then went to hit Sabo, but I flew on my back as I got smashed in the face by it.
I rubbed my face and made a snow ball. I then threw one at Luffy and he ducked and since Ace was laughing at us, it hit him. My eyes widened as I ran off and he chased me with snow.
I thought I lost him and then he tackled me and I landed on the ground with a yelp. Luffy and Sabo were still near. It seems we only ran in circles. Ace rubbed my face with snow as I struggled and then he said in an evil tone. "Let's see how much snow we can get on her."
They both agreed even Luffy. I had three people on me and so I had Sabo pile it on my hair, Luffy stuff in back in my shirt and Ace even got some in my pants. They stopped and my teeth were chattering as the cold got me everywhere. They backed off and I was shaking everything out. I was still cold as we walked back to the hut.
We heard yelling and we all stiffened when we saw who it was.
Garp.
He saw all of us and laughed. "LOOK, MY GRANDKIDS AND THEIR FRIEND! MERRY CHRISTMAS!"
I frowned at him. "Garp-"
I was stopped when he gave a cry of 'Fist of Love". I crashed to the ground as he said. "Call me Grandpa!"
Ace yelled at him and got hit too and the same thing happened to Luffy. Sabo was smart and stayed quiet. So after putting us threw not so bad training than usual, he gave us some money as a gift and then left saying he had to be somewhere. The time this was done, we already ate and now we had nothing to. We all sat down near the hut and Luffy asked me. "Mace, let's play."
I said. "Garp just broke us, give me a break."
He pouted and as I closed my eyes to relax for a second, something wet and cold slid down my back a second time.
I jumped up with wide eyes and ran after the laughing 7 year old screaming. "LUFFY! I'M GOING TO GET YOU!"
So, he is the Christmas special I wanted to right, it might be a little lame, but whatever I liked it. I also picked them this young because I wanted Sabo to be in it. Also, I call Grap his name in this Is because she only known Garp a little while so she is not used to calling him her Grandpa yet. Plus, I think it showed more bonding between the brothers and I did like it. Please tell me what you think.
