Girl Falls into One Piece
Chapter 20
As we sailed, I wondered what Little Garden was like. That All Sunday women talked about it like it was something bad, but the name of the place had little and then garden. I bet it's a boring small island or something like that. Yesterday I trained for hours, even used the weights in the crow's nest that Zoro used. I was a bit achy in the arms and shoulders because I haven't lifted weight like that in a while.
I looked out at the ocean, hanging over the rail. I saw Vivi and Nami talking about something.
"It's time to fish"! Luffy was running around deck and Usopp was sitting, already fishing.
"Do you know where the fish bait went"? Sanji was talking to Luffy, almost in his face. I chuckled and went to where the crow's nest was, climbing it easily. When I arrived at the top, I grabbed the weight closest to me when I laid on the ground and had my hands on the bar shoulders length apart.
Taking a deep breath, I lifted up and let it out when I pulled the weight to my chest. I did this manually for a while and closed my eyes, lifting the weight and closing my eyes, breathing in and out.
Doing this until the pressure in my arms were tight enough, I carefully set it down and stood stretched my muscles. Jumping on the little railing, I jumped off grimacing at the slight pain in my feet. Before I could move something plowed into my side. I tensed and let my right foot move back, bracing the weight I found to be rubber. I grinned and looked down, it was Luffy. He was hugging me at the waist. I patted his hat.
"Luffy, what you want"? I smirked at him.
"Come on! Play tag with me"! He was looked up at me, his eyes gaining that 'puppy dog' look. I felt my eyebrow twitch, really? I shrugged.
"Sure, I have nothing else to do". I removed his arms from me; it was getting slightly hard to breath. But he then wrapped an arm around my waist and stretched his other arm to the top of Usopp's 'workshop'.
"Wait, Luffy..." I paled in horror at what he was going to do.
"Just hold on tight"! With that Luffy jumped up, letting his body fling in that direction past a sleeping Zoro and annoyed Nami. I moved myself so I was almost on his back; Luffy then crashed into the door, breaking it down and falling on it, me on top of him. I laughed to myself and rolled off him into a sitting position.
He is so lucky he is made out of rubber, half the things he does could break bones. Luffy gave his signature laugh and fixed his hat on his head. I grabbed my hat off the floor and put it on mine. I looked at Usopp; he was gaping at both us. He was looked at the door then at me and then Luffy. He did this a couple of times. Amused, I laughed, grinning wider.
"Yo". I laughed again at his expression, Luffy laughing with me.
"Y-yo?! My door"! My grin turned into a smirk and Luffy stood.
"Come on, Usopp! Let's play tag"! He was almost bouncing in his spot.
"I guess I could fix the door later, fine". Before Usopp could say anything else, Lufy stretched his arms and slapped them on Usopp's shoulders. My grin stretched from ear to ear.
Is he doing what I think he's doing? He went to jump and I ran out, laughing loudly as I heard a crash and "Your it, Usopp"! I went to the railing and climbed up, sitting on it with crossed legs, smiling as Usopp chased Luffy below who was stretching to area of the ship, getting out of Usopp's reach. Soon enough Usopp came after me and I ran off, jumping all over the place and cackling when he just about to reach me and I gotten a burst of speed and he overstepped himself, crashing to the ground.
He did get Luffy, my brother gotten tangled with his rubbery limbs in the railing I was at in the beginning and Usopp tagged him. It was harder getting away from Luffy. He seemed to target me more. I ducked, weaved and jumped to different areas of the ship to get away, him calling after me.
I was not really winded; for once it has been awhile since I enjoyed myself like this. Luffy was then chasing Usopp and I was about to run away, but stopped at Vivi's shocked look. Knowing what she must be thinking, I walked up to her.
"Vivi? What's wrong"? She jumped a little, shocked to see me there.
"Mace-san, uh, nothing". She seemed a bit nervous, I had not idea why.
"Well, don't look so worried and relax a little, okay". She gave me a nod and I went to turn away, but felt a hesitant hand on my shoulder.
"Mace-san? Why are you so relaxed"? She looked to be worrying.
"Why wouldn't I be? We aren't at Little Garden yet". I frowned and looked at her confused.
"Crocodile will be after you and Little Garden is supposed to dangerous! How can you and your crew be so carefree when there is so much danger"?! I smiled softly, she really was worried, but not just for her country, but for us too. She might be the only good royal I met, except for Sabo of course.
"We're pirates. We go on the sea for freedom no matter what we dream of. Living life to the last day. Adventure is part of it and so is the danger. We love to have fun and when we have to fight later, we'll get serious". As I spoke her eyes widened and she almost looked at me in awe. I scratched the back of my head, slightly awkward. I'm not good at these inspirational speeches, but I guess I did well. Her face was happier, I noticed she was looking gloomy earlier, no doubt from worrying so much.
"Thank you, Mace-san". She sounded do sincere, I could not help, but feel a bit more awkward.
"Have faith in us. Hey! Do you want to play with us"? She looked from the stretching Luffy and the running Usopp and shook her head, a look of unease on her face. I chuckled at that. Luffy was coming toward me and I pushed Vivi away and crashed to the deck, Luffy on top of me. I groaned in pain as my head smacked the wood and my shoulders slammed into the deck. He rolled off of me and started running.
"Your it, Mace"! He called to me, I smirked and stood up chasing him and then Usopp, grinning after ten minutes, I caught Usopp and he glared chasing me. I let out a cackle and ran off. Soon Nami was annoyed and told us to knock it off. We did play for a while, the sun was setting. I lay by the wall and closed my eyes, falling asleep.
When I woke up I heard Sanji's voice. "DINNER"!
I stood up and my stomach growled. I remembered that I had not ate all day. Yawning, I walked into the kitchen with everyone else. Obvoiusly, Luffy was already there. I sat between Nami and Vivi. I told her before Sanji set the food down.
"Protect your food, Luffy will eat it"! She looked around and everyone nodded seriously. She did what I told her, but people still got food stolen by my rubber brother. I ate enough to make my stomach look like there was a planet under my shirt, maybe Mars or Saturn minus the rings. I patted my stomach and noticed out of the corner of my eye, her duck Carou eating.
After that the next couple of days were eventless, we did nothing, but laze around. I could tell Luffy was getting bored by the hour when nothing happened. Even if I talked to Vivi about relaxing, she still looked tense. I shrugged to myself; she would have to learn herself in time I guess. What I said was true, we can't worry about every little danger; we'll never get through life like that.
I was bored out of my mind and at this point I didn't care about what was on Little Garden at all, I just wanted to do something and be on dry land. Luffy and Zoro I could tell felt the same. Though Luffy was still having a lot of fun with Usopp, playing around. Even training lost its purpose, I can't train 24/7, though I trained a lot.
I was sitting on the railing with my legs crossed (It was like Luffy's special seat to me, I liked sitting here) and Nami and Vivi were up here with me. The rest of the crew and Carou were down below on deck. Sanji came down and asked, with a tray in his hand.
"Hey, guys! Would any of you like to sample my special drink"? I grinned and jumped down to the deck, next to Luffy. Once we all got one, I took a sip, leaning against Luffy. My eyes widened and I took another drink, finishing half of it. I swear, he is like a cooking god. It was fruity, but had a slight sour tang to it, making it taste perfect, his weird quirk easily ignored. Luffy said.
"Hey! You guys want to get out the fishing gear"? I shrugged, finishing my drink and leaning back on my hands. I did fish sometimes, but my brothers did it the most. I was more into hunting our dinners. They agreed to it and Luffy looked at me, eyes eager. I grinned at him.
"I don't know, I might". Carou then started drinking glass after glass and Luffy was amazed. I looked at him blankly; who knew a duck could drink out of a straw. I laughed with them as he kept on going. Luffy asked me.
"So, you gonna fish too"? I smirked at him hopeful look.
"I don't know, I don't feel like it". He pouted and huffed.
"You're just mad you didn't get a bounty". My eyes widened and my jaw dropped in shock. He grinned at my look. My eye twitched and I growled playfully.
"You gonna get it now". His eyes widened and he mumbled.
"Uh oh". He jumped up, but I tackled him to the ground. He yelped and I grinned when it gave me an idea. I sat on him, wiggling my fingers. Luffy's whole face twitched and he squirmed.
"No! Mace"! Usopp asked.
"What is she doing"?! Zoro laughed from my right.
"I have no idea". I dug my fingers into his sides and he jumped, laughing.
"Nooooo"! I gave a cackle and tickled his ribs, make him squirm. If I was not sitting on him a certain way he would have stretched away. I lived with him for 10 years; I know how to get him. With that thought, I dug my fingers under his arms, making him laugh louder, his voice echoing across the ship. I heard Sanji, Zoro and Usopp laughing. I had a huge grin on my face, one you would call shit-eating. Luffy huffed between pants.
"M-mace! S-s-sto-o-op"! He bucked up, twisting us around. I swore under my breath as he had me pinned. He grinned at me, a gleam in his eyes. I squirmed, feeling panicked. Sanji yelled at him, but Zoro told him to shut up. I used my strength to push at Luffy, but he was doing the same and I was stuck. Luffy only looks wimpy because of being made of rubber, he is not as strong as me, but he can hold me down and once I'm being tickled, I'll be defenseless. I whined.
"Come on, Luffy. Don't…" Usopp called.
"Get her, Luffy"! Luffy gave an evil chuckle and I even heard the duck laugh at me. Without warning, his fingers dug into my ribs, it ticked too much and I laughed loudly, trying to get away, I huffed.
"L-l-uffy! Stop"! He just laughed at me and tickled me more. I was laughing so much it hurt my sides. He then stopped, stretched his arms to my hands and wrapped his wrist around mine. I paled when I realized what he was going to do.
"Luffy! Don't you dare"! He gave a laugh similar to Gramps and tickled me under my arms and I lost it, giggling, wheezing and just laughing. He stopped after a couple of minutes and he rolled off of me, both of us breathing heavy. I had a silly grin that was the most fun I had in a while. Usopp was laughing at us and I even heard Nami too. I blinked at the other voice laughing, it was Vivi.
I closed my eyes and yawned, I feel asleep. It felt like no time later when I woke up to a big shadow. My mouth dropped, it's like Laboon, but it was a dolphin. Luffy called out.
"Let's go"! I jumped at the big wave and jumped on the pole containing the Jolly Roger, letting the rope loose, letting the flag unfurl. I tied it down. The rest of them were running around, doing other things. My eyes bulged.
"It's coming back"! I climbed up the crow's nest. I hung on to the railing and Luffy called.
"Hang on, it's a big one"! That it was, my feet lifted and I had to plant them on the railing below me to not fly off and then my upper body almost flew over. Now that, that was over, we went really fast and Luffy asked Nami something, I didn't hear what. Nami called.
"PORTSIDE, FULL"! I sighed as I hung tighter to the railing as we turned. My eyes narrowed and I called.
"I SEE IT, LAND HO"! I snickered to myself at the term, I just called land a Ho. Laughing more, I climbed down as I saw everyone gathered at the from, Luffy in his special seat. Everyone was getting excited and I could not help, but feel excited too. When we got closer, I blinked. It looked like the Tropical Rain Forest from my time. It was huge and as we drew closer, I could hear loud birds.
As we got closer, I wondered why they called it Little Garden, Zoro voiced this. My forest at home was not this big. Nami said.
"Yeah, this island looks harsh if you ask me, why the cute name"? I shrugged and smirked, looking at a freaking out Usopp.
"Who knows, maybe they use the name to lure pray so they think it's nice and then they eat them". Usopp and Nami yelled.
"DON'T SAY THINGS LIKE THAT"! I chuckled and Luffy laughed, clearly amused. Vivi meanwhile was not freaked out or amused, she was worried (what else was new?).
"I can't help but think of the warning Miss All-Sunday gave us". Usopp flipped out.
"So what?! We might be attacked by giant monsters?! You heard what Mace said"! Luffy grinned.
"Who knows"? Usopp was freaking out and Sanji told him they needed to stock up on food. With the way Luffy eats, that's true. Luffy asked about barbeque and I grinned when Sanji yelled at him for it. We then went through a small water canal. I was leaning next to Luffy's special seat. I was eager to get on the island already. I felt my adventure senses tingling. Nami said.
"Usopp might be right about this one, look at the plant life, I never seen anything like this, not even in books". I say we go on the island, even if we should be a bit wary of it. I jumped and pulled my sword out as I saw a bird above him, obviously he didn't notice, he was cooing over Nami.
"Sanji, watch out"! He spun around and started screaming at a huge bird. Luffy was just as surprised. I put my sword away and stumbled when a big BOOM happened, making the boat shake. I tilted my head, it sounded like a volcano from an educational video. Usopp of course freaking out saying, 'we are going to die'! I smirked, like I'd let a place like this kill me.
We were still sailing toward a place we could stop when I heard a familiar growling. I tilted my head to the side and tried to think about where I heard that before. It got louder and I remembered, Tiger. I placed a hand on the hilt of my sword. I haven't had Tiger meat in a while, I know Luffy would love it and I have a carving right now for it. Nami and Usopp were scared and shaking, looking at it.
It made sense; they most likely lived in a place where Tigers and animals like it and in that size were uncommon. They both lived in small villages. Suddenly it crashed to the ground, blood squirting out. My eyes widened. What could kill a tiger that size? A human or…what? Nami yelled.
"LUFFY! What just happened?! I know normal, this is defiantly not it"! I'm kind of curious to see what kill it; I wonder how strong it is. Obviously, I don't want whatever it is near Nami, Vivi or Usopp. Nami and Usopp said they were not leaving and I chuckled. Like that would stop Luffy from having an adventure. Plus, I want to check it out, I haven't been in a forest this big since living with the bandits.
We finally stopped and Zoro threw the anchor overboard. Luffy was shaking and I grinned, yep he was overly excited. He said
"Sanji, go make lunch! Make it a pirate lunchbox with lots of meat and no veggies"! I laughed at him, the excited gleam in his eye getting me excited. While Nami yelled at Luffy and Sanji went to go make him his lunch. Vivi decided she wanted to come. I laughed at the look on Nami and Usopp's faces. I walked up to Vivi and grinned.
"So, you decided to follow my advice after all". Vivi smiled brightly at me.
"Yes, thank you for that Mace-san". I shrugged, softening my grin into a smile for her. I decided I wanted to go alone.
"I gonna go explore, see you later". Nami and Usopp yelled.
"WHAT?! WHY ARE YOU LEAVING US"?! I shrugged and smirked.
"I want to check this place and I also want to see what destroyed that tiger, it's a mystery I've been wondering about". Nami gapped at me and Luffy said.
"You wanna come with me and Vivi"? I shook my head.
"Nah, I'm-". BAM! My head ducked as pain flashed in my eyes. I spun around and glared at the orange haired witch.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR"?! She glared at me.
"For wanting to go to this creepy island for a stupid reason"! I rubbed my head with a sour expression. I put a foot on the railing about to leave. Sanji called.
"Mace Darling! Do you want something to eat"? I said bluntly.
"No, I'll just hunt and cook something when I'm hungry". His eyes looked shocked and feel to the ground, off to the side, dark and sulky.
"…Mace darling don't want my food". Scratched the back of my head awkwardly, I jumped off the boat, running into the forest, leaving the others behind. I walked around the forest and had no idea where I was going. I heard stomping and tensed and narrowed my eyes. I kept low and looked around for what it was; the ground was shaking a bit. I looked and my jaw dropped. It was, it was…a…Dinosaur.
"COOL"! It looked like one of those plant eating ones which meant it wouldn't try to eat me. I moved closer, it looked like something from Jurassic Park, I knew my eyes must have been shinning. I should be scared, but I was not. I never in my life thought I would see one ever! I went till I was close enough and started climbing a tree, shimming up it until I had to be careful and I was breathing a little rougher when I was balanced on the leaves.
I was about to do something really stupid, but I could not contain myself. I was too excited! I crouched carefully and jumped my foot landing on his head. My other one was in the air. I yelped as I pulled toward my and down his neck. Uh-oh! I scrabbled and dug my fingers in his skin, barely denting it. I climbed back on the head and sat cross legged, excited. Oh man, I think I caught the Luffy. This would be his exact reaction. The thing made a groaning noise and starting moving.
With a jolt, I pressed my hands tightly on his hand, balancing myself better so I didn't fall. I can't believe this, a real living Dinosaur! I then turned around and slid down its back, laughing at the speed. I landed on my feet with bent knees, but all the dinosaur did was groan and go back to eating. Heh, it reminds me of Luffy when he eats except that Luffy eats meat and not plants. I regretted having to leave it, but I moved on, wanting to explore more.
I walked off, back into the trees. A big BOOM like before sound and I cringed, slapping my hands over my ears, ears ringing. I shook my head and moved my hands, straightening up. I groaned and rubbed my ear, what does that mean. It sounded like a volcano! Shit, it erupts and we have to get out of here. Nami's a Navigator, she obviously knows about stuff like that. I walked around bored and wondered where Luffy and the others were.
I was lost in thought and looked up and my eyes snapped open (they were halfway shut) and saw a larger tiger than before. I grinned darkly at in and slid my foot back, pulling my sword out, eyes of the animal. It snarled at me and I grinned, showing my teeth. Hey, I lived around them for a decade, I know how to deal with them. It snarled louder and longer, lunging at me.
I jumped to the right, making to stumble and spin around. Jumping quicker than I thought, it came at me and I spread my feet stopping him from clawing my face. It bit on the hilt and top of the sword. It's front legs were on my blade and with all my strength, kicked it in the chest. It flew back with a yelp. I tilted my head to the side, it is a female, seeing the none dude parts.
My stomach growled and I sighed, enough playing, I needed to finish it. I rushed at her with speed and slashed both his feet so it roared on two legs and then I stabbed her in the heart, killing her. I scratched my head, it must have been the male tigers mate or something. I sliced the animal in half, then did it again and one more time.
I walked off and looked around grabbed twigs and branches that fell from trees, even jumping to cut off some and brought the bundle back when I killed it before. Dropping it, I made a fire and set to cleaning it….
After I finished with cooking and eating it, I knew it was a while. I left the animal there, knowing some other animal would eat it. I drank for a river and cleaned my sword in it. The ground was weird; it kept on thumping and shaking. I even felt this shockwave, like the one that happened when me and Zoro clashed with swords on the baot. I decided to ignore it until it came to me; I was not going to go into it or whatever it was.
I was whistling with my hands in my pockets feeling tired, I just had to kill my meal, fix my meal and then I ate a bit more than my full. I looked around, but was met with silence. Shrugging with a yawn, I plopped my butt on the ground and leaned against a tree with my arms crossed and fell asleep…
I woke up feeling a bit groggy and opened my eyes when I felt a shadow above me. With a sigh, I looked up and I shot up when I saw in was that Mr. 5 guy with the red coat. I bit my tongue and slammed back to the ground, it felt like I got hit with cement. I groaned as sparks were in my vision. Dammit! I was too slow! My head rolled against the…tree, yeah the tree!
I blinked, something wet was getting in my right eye. He said.
"This is what happens when you mess with Baroque Works, Swordswomen". I opened my mouth to tell him off about that title and kiss his ass, but he slammed that large hard block in my nose, breaking it and knocking me out and my pain filled vision blacked out.
I woke with pain in my arms, like they were being pulled back. I was somewhere else than the forest because of the glass under my cheek. I blinked and flinched, damn my face hurt like a bitch. Yeah, I curse when I'm in pain, sue me. My eyes widened when I saw Vivi with the same block thing I was smacked with. I turned to the right and saw the Mr. 5 guy with the red coat and saw him foot on Zoro's head. I growled.
"Hey, you bastard"! Mr. 5 guy looked at me.
"Oh, it's you. Finally awake, are you". I glared.
"Go to hell"! The lower half of my face was killing me. He laughed and pressed his foot harder on Zoro's face. He gave a grunt and a growl. I grit my teeth and then stopped, ow! Nami was shocked.
"Wait a minute! What is that thing"! I looked to where she was looking and my eyes bulged. It was a long white stick and a pumpkin with sticks of fire on it. What is was made of, I didn't have a clue. Vivi said she was sorry and the red coat guy chuckled.
"I sorted the strawhat runt myself". Zoro smirked and I grinned (ignoring the pain) and laughed loudly.
"Ha, not a chance"! Nami yelled at me.
"Shut up. Idiot"! I raised my eyebrows.
"You think Luffy lost"? She rolled her eyes.
"Of course not"! Then we were dragged to the spinning thing. Not without a fight. They had to glue me and Zoro's feet with something that guy with a three on his head did. It looked like a Devil Fruit. I earned a black eye, so right now my face was a mess. I knew this because I could feel it. I was between Nami and Zoro.
It was fused with the large thing that looked like a cake and we couldn't move. It was quiet and I was bored out of my mind. Zoro said.
"I guess this is how it feels to be a candle on top of a birthday cake". I shook my head, at least they moved the block from our arms. Mine were swinging. Nami said.
"Guys, what's that spinning up there"? I looked up and I replied.
"A giant pumpkin with fire". Nami glared at me.
"I know that". Zoro explained to her what captured means and I pulled out my sword. Zoro seemed to get the same idea. Adjusting my weighting I swung down as did Zoro, but we didn't get far, only a scratch. I waved away some white stuff and sneezed. I gagged when one got on my tongue. I licked it a couple of times and I figured out what it was.
"Wax that is what it is"! Zoro sighed and I sheathed my sword. The weird 3 guy laughed.
"I do hope you enjoy mu candle service. You may have noticed those flakes that are falling from above. You will eventually be covered and turned into Wax figures"! Well, isn't that just wonderful. "You will become perfectly life sized statues for my collection". And…it gets even better. "Something even I couldn't achieve on my own. You will die for my art". I coughed slightly; a small layer of film covered my vision. Nami snapped.
"I don't think so you freak! I have not interest in what you consider art"! I nodded.
"What's up with the weird hair". He went from laughing to scowling.
"Hey you! Shut up"! I grinned, it's true! Look at it. It was just a weird three and his clothes looked like he got them out of the garbage. Then again the agents on Whiskey Peak were dressed weird. Nami was yelling at the Giant to fight and 3 guy said.
"You can beg all you want, but he won't listen. He just learned that he killed his dear friend Dory who he fought for 100 years, Dory was injured, but he didn't notice. Imagine how much pain he must have been in and it is all your fault"! My eyes widened and I felt the rage in my belly.
"Hey, shut up! Bastard"! I seen enough people die and to have someone laugh at another person death to the person they care about in inexcusable. Nami put a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey, calm down". The 3 guy laughed at me and the giant said.
"I should have seen it. I knew something strange was going on. From the moment we first began to fight, I knew Dory was hiding something, but I couldn't tell what it was". The 3 guy laughed at him and he screamed.
"You know nothing about the duels of Elbalf! What an honorable duel is! A real man fought and hid his pain! I would never show…PITY"! I looked at him seriously, so it was one of those battles, then. That's understandable, something similar to a swordsman fight. Then the giant started breaking and cracked, he stood up. I grinned. I yelled out in shock and Nami and Vivi screamed out him name when that stupid red coat guy threw explosives at him, making him fall.
"He was getting on my nerves". I growled under my breath, shaking. Nami yelled out.
"Broggy"! The 3 guy said.
"It seems I miss calculated, I forgot how freakishly strong these dumb giants can be". He then put those restraints back on him and my eyes widened when sharp wax point got him in the feet and hands. A red haze blocked my vision and I thrashed. Zoro said to me.
"Dammit, Mace! Keep your head straight"! I took a deep breath, but hacked a cough, it was getting worse. Vivi cried out.
"You really are despicable"! The 3 guy just grinned and said.
"Now let's get these candles going faster"! I tensed my shoulders when I heard the pumpkin moving faster. Nami and Vivi were choking. I closed my mouth and breathed through my nose slightly when I needed the breath, I would give the Bastard the satisfaction to seeing me like that. I looked worriedly at Nami and Vivi.
Our bodies were turning stiff and Nami was panicking. "Zoro, Mace! Do something"! I looked at Zoro and he was staring at Broggy. I had no idea, I'm not strong enough to break this, if I could get my legs free, I could leave and fight. Zoro called.
"Hey giant, you can still move, right"? Zoro pulled out his swords and faced them toward his legs. My eyes bulged, is he insane?! Nami yelled the same thing. He will get free and if he ignores the pain, he could beat these guys together and with a giant on our side, defiantly. They others they were crazy and Nami yelled.
"Mace! Talk him out of it"! Zoro shrugged.
"Why, it won't make us any less dead". I laughed then, a choking hacking laugh and said.
"Sorry, I can't"! Nami and Vivi let out a sigh of relief. Zoro just grinned at me, he knew.
"Why is that, Mace"? I grinned darkly, eyeing him with a wild look.
"I don't have a second sword, an uneven cut". The giant gave a deep laugh and Zoro moved slightly, I grabbed the sword closest to me out of the sheath and pointed my and his toward my legs with another laugh. Nami and Vivi screamed.
"MACE, NOT YOU TOO"! I shrugged a shoulder, we had to do this soon, and I was getting even stiffer. The guys in front of us were mumbling. I counted to three in my head and stabbed toward. I clenched my teeth at the pain; it was going up my legs and coiled in my stomach. I never thought I would feel something this bad in my life and my back was torn by a bear before.
I remembered about the giants and this bastard trying to kill my nakama and the pain went to a dull throb, it shows what sheer will can do and then I was about to stab through, but a crash came and Luffy showed up. He was pissed about their battle and then just noticed we were in trouble. I moved the swords out slowly. Luffy said.
"Oh hey guys, you're in trouble". I nodded and I and Zoro said.
"Eh, not much". Nami said.
"You both cut half way through your legs"! I looked down to see blood pooling. Zoro asked Luffy.
"Hey, can you know this pillar down, Luffy"? I nodded in agreement. I now had half sawed legs, isn't that great. Luffy nodded with a grin.
"Sure, no problem". Usopp and Luffy agreed to it and Nami screamed.
"Hurry, will you! We're dying here"! I frowned and said.
"Nami, calm down. It'll be fine, Luffy's here". She calmed down a little, I knew she calls him an idiot, but in all she has faith and trusts him. Vivi yelled out.
"Zoro, what are you doing"?! I looked to see him have one hand in the air, with his sword pointing up. Is her posing? Zoro said.
"I'm posing, if I'm going to die, I want to look good". I shook my head, laughing slightly and raised my hand up, making a fist. Nami said.
"Dammit! Not you too"! I smirked at her and Vivi told us to stop playing around. Zoro said.
"Who's playing"? I frowned.
"Vivi, Nami. I learned a long time ago to live life and not worry about how I die as long as I lived it with no regrets. So that is what I'm doing right now". Zoro smirked at me and Nami and Vivi looked shocked. Ha, they didn't expect that did they? Nami and Zoro started fighting about the posing and I decided not to get involved. Sometimes when Zoro and Nami fight, it is best to stay away.
The giant laughed, "Hey, sword guy, girl! Is that all the fight you have left". Zoro said.
"Yeah, I'll have to leave to someone else now". I grinned.
"Yeah, my brother Luffy got it handled alright". Broggy grinned back at us. Vivi's voice was panicked.
"Can you take this more seriously, Mr. Bushido? Mace-san"? Zoro said.
"Your pose could use a little work too"! Nami yelled at him.
"Shut up about the posing already"! Ace would laugh if he saw me right now. Then help me out and then kick my ass. I mused.
"What a way to meet my end". Vivi said.
"Don't say things like that"! Nami was screaming at him for cutting on his legs and I rolled my eyes, don't she give it a rest. Nami snapped.
"Don't roll your eyes at me, Mace! You're a complete idiot! Who is their right mind cuts off their legs"!? I shrugged.
"Someone who wanted to fight. I could of always grabbed them and sew them back on or maybe even got someone to make me some robo legs". Nami screamed.
"Are you insane! I would think as a girl you had more common sense"! I narrowed my eyes at her.
"What does being a girl have to do with anything"? Nami hissed at me.
"You're supposed to have common sense! You are a disgrace to women everywhere! You don't even act like one"! I shook my head, if being a weakling is acting like a 'normal' girl, I'm happy I'm strange. I said with raised eyebrows.
"I don't see your point. I'm strong and act the way I want to. I'm a pirate; I can do what I want". Nami sighed loudly, I was getting to her.
"Forget it, I don't want to do this now". I smirked.
"This might be the last time, we could die". She actually almost jumped out of the mold.
"DON'T SAY THINGS LIKE THAT, IDIOT"! I laughed at her red, shark toothed face. I looked back to see Usopp on top of the duck saying.
"I had enough of this, I'm going to take you on, give up now". Wow, that's impressive for Usopp. Carou quacked in agreement. It was actually impressive, uh never mind, he ran behind the trees.
"Luffy! We got your back from here"! Luffy turned around and I saw that 3 guy prepare something, my eyes widened and I called out.
"Luffy! Watch out"! He turned around confused.
"Huh, Mace wha-hey"! That Candle Lock thing got his feet and I sighed, damn. Nami and Vivi thought we were doomed and Zoro said.
"You got caught already". I bit my lip, Arlong was way stronger than this freak, and he should be fine. He jumped out of the way and I saw the wax almost drag him down, but wait if used the heaviness to his advantage…
Luffy grabbed Broggy's horn and wrapped around a bunch of times, they he let go, swinging to gain speed and slammed into the pillar. We all cheered, finally! I can get off this thing! I'm going to kick that red coat guys ass! Messing with me, as much as he did. He should of stayed at Whiskey Peak!
I ducked my head as the Pumpkin came toward us, but stopped right over our heads. I coughed, hacking out some of the wax. Damn! It's worse than before, Luffy had no way of knowing what would happen. Nami was coughing and I flicked my eyes at her worriedly, my life I was not worried about, Nami was different.
Nami and Vivi screamed at Luffy and he said.
"You guys told me to knock down the pillar so that is what I did". Vivi screamed.
"CAN WE REALLY PUT OUR FAITH IN THIS GUY"!? Zoro said.
"Right now, we don't have a choice". I rolled my eyes.
"Right, what he is trying to say is, have faith in my brother, he'll pull through". Vivi looked at me, at the determined look I knew I had along with fondness and trust. Obviously as you seen, I trust Luffy with my life. Zoro said.
"Nah, I really meant we can't move". I deflated.
"Bastard, you just killed my moment"! He shoulders twitched, which means he meant a shrug. The 3 guy laughed, in that annoying way of his.
"Now all you did was speed up the process"! Luffy was shocked.
"You are being turned into wax statues"?! I sighed and then cough, the wax getting in my lungs. As Nami and Vivi yelled at him, I wished I could move, so I could face palm. I love Luffy, but sometimes…
Usopp helped Luffy from being stabbed by that 3 guy, but the red coat one just ate it. Zoro said.
"This isn't looking good, good thing me and Mace have out poses". I blinked in agreement. Nami yelled at us about our posing and I stared at Luffy.
"Come on, bro. You're leaving me stuck here". He frowned, a serious gleam in his eye.
"Alright, ready to go"! He stretched both arms back and but the 3 guys made a wax wall stopping Luffy. Luffy snapped.
"Hey! Get out of my way"! The 3 guy said.
"I was thinking the same thing, stop getting in the way of my creative activates". I growled to myself, I was actually getting a bit worried, at leave I'll look awesome. Hey! A pirate's gotta look awesome, I have a Rep. I looked at them Nami, Zoro and Vivi. I promised to myself to protect my friends, but I can't move. I pulled my legs, but all they did was ripping apart at the skin more.
More wax was thrown at him along with a wax wall, but he destroyed in, breaking it and sending that wax bastard flying. I grinned and my eyebrows furrowed, my face was getting stiff and it was getting harder to breath. I honed my senses better, part of my swordsman training.
Luffy then decided he didn't want to help us. I gaped and Zoro yelled.
"Quit being an idiot! Now is not the time"! Luffy said in a blank voice.
"Not now, I really don't feel like saving you". I scowled.
"Oi, Luffy! You brother and Nakama are about to be frozen for life, help us out here"! Luffy replied in the same blank voice.
"Yeah, I know, but I don't wanna". What the hell is wrong with him?! I heard a little girl say.
"My Color's Trap". She was eating a green cookie. Zoro called.
"Hey Luffy! There is no time to space out! Do something already"! I said.
"Hey, I think there is something wrong with him". Luffy kept on saying he didn't want to help and that proved there was something wrong with him. I heard a explosion and looked to see Usopp and Carou run off, the lemon and red coat chasing them. I looked back at Luffy, seriously what the hell. Vivi yelled at the kid and she said.
"It's my color's trap, betrayal black; it makes you want to betray your friends". My eyes bulged when Vivi explained it. Now that they mention it, he was standing a black circle of paint. Vivi told him to stay away and not help eyes and I lit up, of course. Reverse Phycology. Zoro repeated this without my big genius wording. Luffy moved away and I sighed in relief, finally.
He went to punch it down, but then he started laughing and we all screamed at him. Dammit, I'm going to beat up that brat! He had yellow on the back of his shirt. I growled.
"Luffy! Strip! Now"! Nami yelled.
"Yeah take off your shirt". All of a sudden Usopp ran in with Carou, red coat and lemon behind him and then splashed into Luffy. He was still laughing because the shirt was on his slightly and I had an idea.
"Luffy! If you take off your shirt, I'll get you…Tiger meat"! He froze with a grin and ripped it off. Nami muttered.
'I can't believe that worked". Zoro said.
"I actually can, he is Luffy". He then strikes the ground because of the red paint and when we got rid of that issue, he started drinking tea with her. My lungs were closing up on me and I couldn't see. I was struck with horror as I couldn't even grin or scowl. The candle thing was complete, I could not move!
This was getting a bit too long, but you get a cliffhanger. What will happen, who knows- oh wait I do. I want to finish Little Garden and almost Drum or finish Drum by the January 5, but I also have a school project for Advanced English, so I don't know.
About the review with a relationship with Luffy and Ace, she is just brothers with them or to me that would feel like incest. I don't think about any romance to tell you the truth, it will mostly be Nakamaship, because that is what One Piece is about to me. The only romance I see is Boa Hancock and she is just a fangirl. Not meaning to offend you romace readers on One Piece or anything.
Also I might get a Christmas special tomorrow or the day after that!
