Humphrey meet Kate in science. "Hey Kate" said Humphrey.

"Hey Humphrey" Kate replied as she smiled. Humphrey smiled back. "Did you tell your parents about coming over to have dinner" asked Kate. "Yeah and they will go" said Humphrey.

Humphrey starred deeply in Kate's eyes. Kate notice Humphrey was starring at her, she didn't know if he like her or something else that she didn't know. Kate blushed madly and Humphrey broke the trance when the teacher is talking.

Mean while, Garth was trying to stay away from Humphrey but he couldn't help it. He doesn't want him to steal his girl. Garth planned something, something vicious and violent to Humphrey at lunch.

(Time Skip: Lunch Time)

Kate was sitting at her friends' table next to Humphrey's table. They both sat next to each other until Garth came up to Humphrey.

"Hey Coyote" said Garth. Humphrey look at Garth and his gang until Garth punch Humphrey's face and his gang began to carry him outside to the front door.

Kate saw it and she was scared that Garth will hurt Humphrey. She had enough and Garth didn't understand and broke her promise. "Girls did you see that" asked Kate.

All of them nodded. Hutch and Cando saw it too. "Come on" Hutch yelled. Hutch and his friends began rushing to the front door, followed by Humphrey's friend and Kate and her friends.

Garth and his gang start beating up Humphrey. "What the fuck is wrong with you" Humphrey coughed. "I told you to stay away from Kate and you didn't" shouted Garth angrily.

Hutch, his friends, Humphrey's friend, and the others burst through the doors. "Hey leave Humphrey alone" shouted Hutch. "Or what" said Garth.

Before Hutch could response, Kate walked up to Garth. "We're through and you promise you won't hurt Humphrey and you did" Kate yelled in his face.

Garth had enough and push Kate to the ground and pulled a knife and stab Humphrey's side.

Humphrey screamed in agony. He let his anger took control of him and smooth the pain. "GARTH I HAD ENOUGH YOUR A FUCKING DEAD MAN" Humphrey shouted as he punch side of his face.

They hear his neck snapping, and Garth puke blood right after he punch him. The police saw Humphrey stumble around and fell to the ground as Garth's gang let go of him.

Kate screamed in horror as she watch Humphrey fall to the ground. Blood was spilling out of his body fast. Kate, her friends, Humphrey's friends and all the other girls who have a crush on Humphrey rush to his side.

Kate pull the knife out slowly and put her hands on the wound. The police pulled out his gun and aimed at Garth's gang. His gang grew feared.

"GET ON THE GROUND RIGHT NOW" the police shouted. They did what he command them.

Kate saw Humphrey's eyes rolled back of his head. "HUMPHREY" Kate heard Heather as she charged at Humphrey and hold his hands tightly.

Heather was crying heavily while Lily came up to Garth and saw he was unconscious. "Don't worry Humphrey I'm gonna call Mom and Dad" Heather cried.

She pulled out her phone and began dialing the phone number. Hutch began speaking someone on the phone, calling for help. The school nurse rush up to Humphrey and began putting bandage on his wounds.

Kate's eyes were full of tears as she saw Humphrey's eyes close slowly.

"MOM DAD HUMPHREY'S HURT" Heather shouted in her phone. Kate began to cry as she saw her crush dying slowly. "N-no Humphrey" she sobbed.

"Please d-don't die, I love you" said Kate as she buried her head into Humphrey's neck. Her friends tried to comfort her but it wouldn't help. The ambulance arrived and quickly pulled Humphrey inside and rush to the hospital.

Another ambulance arrived and put Garth on a stretcher and rush to the hospital as well. Kate saw Lily crying. She went up to her and give her a hug.

"It's okay Lily" she said. "I think I'm going to make up to him" Lily cried as she picture Garth in the hospital with a case on his neck.

Heather rushed into her car and drove off quickly. "Come on Lily, let's go to the hospital" Kate said crying a bit. Before they went to their car, Kate pulled her water out and began to clean her hands. Kate didn't know if she should call her mom and tell her what happen.

"Lily can you call mom for me and tell her we're going to the hospital and explain what happen" commanded Kate. Lily nodded and pulled her phone out.

As they arrived at the hospital, Kate began to cry heavier and picture about going to Humphrey's funeral and stuck with Garth. She didn't want Garth because he's the one who cause this.

"WHY DOES HE HAS TO BE SO VIOLENT" Kate yelled.

As they walked in, Kate rush to the desk and asked where is Humphrey. They told her Humphrey was in a emergency room and tell her where it is. Kate grabbed Lily's arm and began running towards it.

She saw Heather crying heavily along with her parents. Sara saw Kate and began running towards her. Sara hugged her hard as she can. "K-Kate I'm so sorry for you, H-Humphrey will be o-okay" Sara sobbed on her shoulders.

Kate hugged her tight as well. Eve and Winston was rushing towards Kate. "I knew Garth shouldn't be your boyfriend" said Eve angrily. "I will tear his eyes apart and shove it down his throat so he can see me tearing his body apart".

Winston's eyes grew wide and Lily dropped her jaws.

"I'm sorry Lily but Garth has to be punish" said Eve. "Mom, he already got his punishment his neck got snapped by Humphrey" said Lily. Everyone's eyes grew wide.

"He did it right after Garth stabbed him" Lily confessed. "If I change him into a nice person, he will not hurt anyone, and probably fell in love with me" Lily whispered the last part.

Eve was about to say something until a nurse burst through the doors. "He will be okay, his organs just fine except his liver have a small hole but it will be healed in a few days" the nurse explained.

"May we see him? Is he conscious" asked Kate. "Yes and no, he's in coma" said the nurse. Kate's eyes widen in fear and began to hug Lily and cried madly.

"Kate you may not know if he is alive or dead" said Lily. Kate shot her head up.

"You're right" said Kate as she broke the hug and they went inside the room. Humphrey's body was pale.

Sara fainted and Felix caught her. Humphrey's mouth was attach to a tube, his wrist was plunged in by the needle with blood dripping inside the bag.

Kate watch the heart monitor and it was fine. Kate sigh in relief and began walk to his side and hold his right hand. She saw a patch next to his six packs. Winston walked up to Kate and comfort her.

"Kate, Humphrey will be alive and awake. I promise you he will live" comforted Winston. Kate nodded. Sara woke up and saw Humphrey again. "My baby" she cried on Felix's shoulder. Felix hugged her and stroke her hair.

Night time came and they began leaving the room. Before they do that, Kate give a kiss on Humphrey's forehead. "Such a good girlfriend" said Sara. Kate blushed but had never admit her feelings towards Humphrey yet.

Everyone laughed. "You did the same thing as Humphrey did when I told him to sit next to you at Dinner" informed Sara. Kate smiled. "I love you" Kate whispered in his ears and leave the room.

(In the morning)

Kate woke up and she was so tired. Eve knock her door. "Come in" Kate shouted.

Eve open the door. "Kate honey, you're not going to school okay" informed Eve. Kate nodded and went back to sleep with a good dream of her and Humphrey.

Lily went to school and tell everyone about Humphrey in the hospital. There were rumors that Garth was going to get expelled but then Lily told the principle if he wasn't taught how to be nice.

The principle think for a moment and agree with her. Lily squealed. "I hope Humphrey is okay" said Lilac putting her head down. "I hope so" said Candy.

"Let's just have in faith for him and beg him to stay alive" informed Luna. They all agreed.

Kate's heart was shattered and have hope for Humphrey as she was in the hospital. Holding his hands and Kate put it close to her face.

"Please Humphrey I need you, I need you to heal my heart. I need to tell you something. I love you, please come back to me" Kate cried.
