Girl falls into One Piece
Chapter 25
The one with black hair said. "Don't worry sir; we'll get them out of your hair! Speaking of hair!" He swung the ball in his hand at Kureha and Sanji blocked it. He threw another one at me and I slashed it, only to cringe in disgust as the ball that was in half stuck to the side of my blade on the flat side.
I saw the same thing happen to Sanji's leg. I swished my sword back and forth. "Ew, hair is on my sword! Get it off!" I growled, but it just stayed on. Stupid black haired marimo smirked and I growled again, shaking my sword faster. "Damn it! Off!"
Sanji also yelled and when I looked at him, he was swinging his leg the same way I was my sword. He yelled. "Ah, get off! What is making this stick to me?! Static electricity or something?!"
The stupid hair bastard grinned. "Exactamento." Then the bastard laughed and I grit my teeth and put the point of my sword down and used my foot to scrape it off. Unfortunately, it just stuck to my ankle.
I swore under my breath. "Damn it, now the hair is on me!" The stupid bastard laughed again.
Sanji yelled out again. "Dammit! Get off my leg, you disgusting hairball!" I agree with that one. I tried scraping it against the ground, but now it had snow covering every inch of it instead, making my leg heavier.
Sanji was still screaming and swinging. "I swear I'm going to knock that nasty hairball guy silly when I get this thing off me!"
I shook my leg the same way, feeling myself redden in anger. "I second that."
He then threw more and I yelped, running away from them as they all smacked into Sanji. I stood up and snickered, ha he miss-gah, what the hell!? One smacked into my stomach, winding me a little. I had an idea and lowered my sword. I dropped to the ground and started rolling in the snow, shivering when it touched my skin. I stumbled to my feet when it didn't work.
Chopper snapped. "What are you doing, playing?"
I rolled my eyes. "I'm not; I'm trying to get rid of them."
Kureha raised an eyebrow at me. "How is that working for you?"
I growled in her direction. "Shut up, what's it to you!?"
My eyes widened when the joker lit a flaming arrow. "These are perfect when the hair is dry to light on fire."
I paled, oh shit! "Dammit! Run!" I ran in the other direction.
I heard Chopper yell. "Decoy Plan!" I looked to see him leave Sanji. I choked back a laugh. I tumbled when something sharp grazed my ankle and spun around to almost get hit with another one instead. I used my sword to knock away the other arrow. I scowled at the hair on my sword and got an idea from Zoro in Little Garden as I stared at my burning leg. I glanced over to see Sanji on fire too. I put the ball by the fire on my leg, lighting my sword aflame.
I charged at the marimo bastard and his eyes widened in horror and I grinned as he backed away from me. "Yeah, bastard! You gonna get it now!" He ducked and stumbled away. Suddenly I had to duck to the ground, Luffy flying over my head. I grumbled when the snow smothered my sword. I failed to notice Chopper about to be eaten, oops! At least the stupid hairballs fell off; I sheathed my sword, annoyed. I stood on two feet. Chopper was fine though, Luffy was grinning in what I believe to be Nami's coat.
I walked back over and saw Chopper back in the smaller form. His hippo was gone and Wapol was on the ground. Sanji then snapped and pointed at Luffy. "Hey! Wait a minute! Isn't that Nami's coat?!" Is that really the issue right now?
Sanji tried to pull it off and I smacked the back of his head. "Knock it off, that's not the issue right now."
Sanji swooned. "Of course, Mace sweet!"
I felt my eyebrow twitch. "Don't call me that!" Then Wapol got back up and started shouting about his Munch-Munch fruit.
Luffy said. "Oh, he got back up?"
Sanjji blinked. "That hit was pretty hard."
I shrugged and shifted. "Either he's sorta strong or the blubber covered it."
Lufy shrugged, smirking. "That doesn't matter much."
Suddenly Wapol asked. "Tell me what I ate in the exact order I ate it."
The Joker said. "Well, sir you started by eating too cannons on the ship. One sautéed in butter and the other raw. Then it was a cannonball and gunpowder salad and followed by the main course of a toasted cottage."
I blinked at him a couple of times. "That's certainly a strange meal you don't hear about every day."
Luffy looked at them in disbelief. "You're telling me, and you thought I ate a lot."
Sanji grunted. "You do, but this guy is a bigger pig than you." I had to agree with that.
Wapol didn't look too happy with our conversation. "You see Strawhat, whatever I eat stays in my body! That is the power of the Munch-Munch fruit!" He then started to shift and Sanji yelled out in shock as he started to shift more and looked like a house with 2 cannon arms and cannon on top of his head. He called it the 'Wapol House'. I grimaced, he's certainly bigger.
Wapol yelled. Now, I have to eat!" To our utter shock, he ate both of his men!
Sanji yelled. "He ate his own men!"
Luffy blinked and gaped. "That's so mean!"
I rolled my eyes and smacked him in the back of my head, "No duh, Luffy!" His cannon arms started steamed and we all blinked in shock and waiting to see what would happen. Would he look like them because he ate them?! I hope not, that would look creepy!
Wapol yelled. "Come forth, the miraculous union!"
Sanji gasped. "What kind of union?!"
I scowled; hand on the hilt of my sword. "I have no idea."
The door creaked open and voices came out. "Allow us to introduce ourselves; we are the strongest warrior of Drum Kingdom." The voice echoed and I tightened my hand on the hilt. A shadow was hovering by the door. I looked blankly at the 'union'. It was both of them, upside down on each other. I burst out laughing, holding my stomach. What idiots! Sanji also was in disbelief.
Wapol said. "Article one of the Drum Kingdom constitution: Those who don't listen get put to death. That's the number one law of this country. You refused my wishes and broke that law! You're all going to be punished for your crimes! But first I'm going to deal with the matter of that Quack's flag soiling my regal castle! It's time I took that thing down!"
I scowled deeply, my hand going white around my sword hilt. "Luffy." He shot the flag and I snarled, flicking my wrist and my gleaming sword was up and I glared. "You fat lard of a bastard king." Before I could go at him, Chopper did. I leaned back, lowering my sword slightly. Chopper needs to do this, not me. I saw out of the corner of my eye, Luffy fly up to the top of the castle and tie the flag back on with a sleeve of the coat. I smiled in relief and I frowned as Chopper stayed like that and didn't attack him. Wapol shot him and Kureha shouted his name. I stepped forward with a glare.
Luffy yelled. "You guys weren't real pirates were you? You were fake ones! You don't know what flying a pirate flag means! Cause you were a bunch of fakes who didn't risk your lives!" I smirked, that's my brother.
Wapol barked stupid things at Luffy and Luffy glared, snapping. "Pirate Flags mean something, Big Mouth! They aren't raised as some kind of joke!"
Amen to that brother. "I agree to that."
Wapol didn't hear me. "Moron, the only joke is I let you live as long as I have. You dared put that flag back after I knocked it down; it's time I delivered the punchline!" His cannon went up.
My eyes widened and I ran forward. "No, bastard!" He shot at Luffy and I skid to a stop with a growl, he won't move, I know him, he won't move. Fire went up.
Wapol laughed and said. "He was blown to pieces!"
I snapped and yelled. "SHUT UP! He was not! You're the fool if you think he was killed by something like that! You won't burn that flag and my brother is fine!"
His face was red and Wapol glared at me. "How dare you-".
Luffy called from above. "I don't know who this pirate flag belongs to, but it doesn't matter! A pirate flag is something to risk their life for; it's not something to laugh at!" I looked up and saw the flag having a tear, but it was fine and Luffy was a little charred, but that was it. Luffy was holding it up.
He tried to shoot him again and I jumped forward, slashing the cannon ball in two, making them fall in the snow. "Try that again, bastard! I dare you!"
The ChessMarimo thing stared at me in shock. "How did she do that!?"
Luffy snapped. "It won't matter how many times you try to shoot me! A pirate flag is something you jackasses won't UNDERSTAND! IT WON'T BREAK EVER! This flag is a sign of faith!"
I grinned darkly and looked over all three of them and pointed my sword their way, like 'bring it on'. I was ready.
Luffy called. "I'm going to kick all these guys' asses, huh reindeer? For what they did to your friends flag." I shifted slightly and pulled my sword back at my side. Chopper looked shocked at him.
I snorted. "Yeah, count me in too." I smiled at Chopper.
Wapol started shouting…again. "You really don't get it, do you?! Since you feel so strongly about that flag, I'll destroy you along with it!" I then heard Sanji and a crack. I cringed and spun around, he face was in pain and his eyes dilated. Kureha stepped on his back and slammed him to the ground on his front.
I gaped. "What the hell are you doing?!" Seriously, what kind of doctor treats patients like this!? This hag is bat shit insane! Chopper screamed and rushed at Wapol. I narrowed my eyes and stepped forward, but the ChessMarimo interfered.
I scowled. "Hey! Don't stop someone's fight."
Wapol glared at me. "Shut up! After I kill the stupid reindeer, you next!" I snorted, as if. I raised an eyebrow at him.
Kureha laughed. "That furball has more courage than a full grown man!"
The stupid ChessMarimo started talking. "You will not lay a single paw on our king." I looked to see Chopper shifted back to a small cute reindeer hybrid from before. He looked so fluffy…I wanted to pet him…I shook my head, damn ADHD.
"…You're a monster; you're that yeti the villagers feared. No one likes you and you have no friends. You're trying to save a country that don't care about you, that's the stupidest thing I ever heard!" My eyes widened in my rage and I felt my back tense tightly. Every word this guy said pissed me off. He's my friend and no one talks about my friends like that! He helped us, kind at heart and Luffy wants him as Nakama, that's good enough for me.
Chopper yelled. "I don't care if I have no friends! I can still fight for what I ever I believe in!" How wrong he was…
Luffy snapped from the top of the tower. "You're wrong! I'm your friend reindeer! Me!" I grinned as Luffy rocketed himself down, plowing into Wapol, making him scream and fall into the snow. I felt myself soften as I stared at Chopper's shocked face.
I smiled. "He's right, I'm your friend too you know."
He eyes went rounder. "Wha-."
I rolled my eyes. "If we didn't care about you, we wouldn't help you." I shoved my left hand in my pocket.
He was drawn from me when Luffy crashed to the ground. "Strawhat!" Luffy chuckled and help his hat in place. Chopper shouted in shock. "You should be as flat as a pancake!"
Luffy grinned at him again and stood up. "Yeah, but I'm fine because I'm a rubberman." He so does that on purpose to freak people out, it's amusing, but still jeez! "Hey reindeer! You got that guy over there, right?"
Chopper agreed and Luffy said he was going to deal with Wapol.
I pouted. "Aw."
Chopper stared at me. "What? What is it?"
I huffed. "I wanted to fight too!"
Chopper stared at me shocked. "That's not the issue here, you moron!"
I rolled my eyes and said. "Ah, whatever! Luffy, I'm going back in the castle. You got the wide load handled?"
Luffy turned to look at my blankly. "Huh, yeah no problem." I sighed and waved behind me, walking toward the castle doors and I sheathed my sword with a click. There was no need to watch a fight and then I had an idea.
Wapol screeched at me. "Where do you think you are going?" I walked away and heard his footsteps.
Luffy snapped. "You're fighting me, big mouth!" I kept on walking as I heard the normal skin on rubber sound of Luffy hitting someone. I almost walked past Sanji and Kureha. She was sitting on him with a foot on his back.
I stopped in my tracks. "Why are you sitting on my Nakama?"
Sanji cooed. "I knew you cared about me, Mace sweet!" I felt my eyebrow twitch, but kept it raised and started at the insane doctor.
She merely shrugged and said. "The injuries in his back before and he could ruin it permanently if he moves too much or fights."
I shrugged. "Sounds fair, I guess." I was about to walk away.
Kureha asked. "Are you really going back in the castle? With you nakama out here?"
I smiled a bit. "Yeah, they can take care of themselves. Plus, I have a plan."
She raised an eyebrow and I heard fighting in the background I ignored. "Oh, really?" I nodded again and walked off, hearing Sanji whine about me leaving him. I chuckled and walked in the castle, going up stair after stair. Rolling my eyes at my slow pace, I jogged up the stairs and soon enough, I was running.
I huffed out my breath, my breath in front of me. I finally reached the last door the place. It had to small square glass windows. I pushed them open, but then were stiff and rusted. I pushed harder and finally (which creaking loudly); they opened and were at the sides.
I put one leg out and another, turning around with my feet on the ledge. I put my arms in front of me and pulled myself up and sat down next to the flag. In front of it with my arms crossed. I looked below, if I couldn't fight, I was going to do something like protect the flag just in case.
I stared down and gaped. "When did he get muscles like that!?" That's actually pretty cool. He broke the hammers that the ChessMarimo had and I was watching the fight and then drifted in a memory that reminded of the fight.
Ace was gone for weeks and then that turned into months. I and Luffy were training on our own and not with each other. Sure, we would see each other at lunch or at the end of the day after training or with Grandpa whenever he came. We just wanted to get stronger to protect the ones we care about presently and whatever future nakama we get. Anyway, Luffy came back from the woods and I perfected my sword forms I learned and was okay with combining them. I waved at my brother and he grinned at me, waving back excitedly.
He called. "Hey Mace! Lunch Time!"
I finally caught up to him with a grin. "Yeah, I know. It's your turn this time."
His eyes filled with an excited glint. "Alright! Come on, let's go!" His stomach growled and I ran to catch up. I ran with him until we heard a roar. I leaned back against the tree with a grin and my arms crossed over my chest. He fixed his feet and grabbed his right shoulder, stretching it back and slamming a fist in the tiger's face, easily killing it.
I raised a fist in the air. "Yeah! That was quick Luffy!"
He turned and grinned at me. "Yeah, I know."
I rolled my eyes and walked over to the tiger. "Well, aren't we modest?"
He grinned wider and stuck his tongue at me. "Bleh, Mace!" I playfully growled and pushed him, helping Luffy lift the tiger, tightening my jaw at the pain in my arms and shoulders along with my back. My workout was insane, for now I'll leave it at that.
In a clearing we dumped the tiger and I cut it up and cleaned the fur from it and Luffy watching while sitting on the floor with his legs crossed and started drooling when I grilled the meat with an impatient expression and I laughed at his face, he huffed and his bottom lip was pulled into a pout. I grinned fondly at him and soon enough we ate, me eating a lot more than usual since I trained hard today.
Suddenly Luffy finished and Luffy said. "Mace! Let's fight today!"
I stared at him with a raised eyebrow and then I smirked. "Ha, you're on."
He smirked back at me. "Yosh! Let's go!" I kicked the fire down so we didn't burn the forest again (bad experience, you don't want to know).
We moved a little away from it and got in battle stances. I grinned. "Give me what you got, Luffy! I'm not going easy!"
Luffy laughed, spreading his legs shoulders with apart and fists up. I threw mine up too. I wouldn't use the sword till later. We both rushed at each other and his arm flew to hit me in the face, but it was stretched far. I jumped on his outstretched arm and it bounced me forward and I leaned back, nailing him with sandals in the face. He flew back and crashed into a tree.
Now since he was rubber that didn't hurt him. I was just testing something. I ducked the fist he threw at me, but crashed to the ground at the other one that stretched and punched me hard in the side where my ribs were. They didn't break, but I knew they were bruised. That was how we fought hand to hand.
But then I pulled out my sword after trading punches with him. The only time I hurt him is when I made him crash through trees, large splinters cutting his skin. I was not worried, he was getting stronger and was nothing like when he was younger and I just met him or even a few years ago, he grown a lot. He eyes brightened when he saw, me pull out my sword. I called to him. "It's serious now Luffy."
He nodded, going serious himself. "Yeah, I know."
We rushed at each other and I ducked under his punching arms and slashed at him, it cut his vest and gave him a shallow cut, but he moved. I cursed and dropped to the ground and rolled from the stretched kick I almost got to the face. I rolled away and jumped to my feet quickly. He swung an arm at me and the momentum was too high and I shook my head at him. His eyes widened when he saw me raise my sword. I slashed upward, cutting his arm from above the wrist to elbow.
He howled in pain. "Ah! Mace!" I narrowed my eyes, I was serious. He narrowed his own and put me on defense and I stumbled and that let him smash his foot in the middle of my face, making me crash several feet away while rolling, sword tight in my grip. I groaned in pain at feeling of my nose broken with blood gushing from it. Luffy looked at me worriedly. "Uh, Mace…"
I shook my head scowling as I stood and moved closer. "Nu-uh Luffy! We have to fight serious, I cut you."
He eyes gained a determined glint in them and I ducked over the stretched head trying to head butt me and jumped behind him, slamming my hilt into the back of his head, making it go forward and I spun him around and before he could get him bearing, I sliced at him in the right side. He stumbled, his eye twitching in pain and he sent a punch, my sword going in front of me so the point poked a little deeply at three fingers on his right hand and I round house kicked him in the chest. His breath went out with a huff and blocked my move, stretching to grab my wrist and pulled hard, throwing me over his shoulder and crashing to the ground a couple of feet from him.
I climbed to my feet panting, he was too. We fought until nighttime and no one won, neither of us would give up. We just got up and up. I huffed. "Tie?"
Luffy blinked at me and tilted his head to the side. "Tie?"
I smirked. "Neither one of us win, both couldn't beat each other."
He gave me a pout, but nodded when his stomach growled. I looked him over he was up by the trees and my sword. On his arms and legs a bit on the chest and back, small cuts on my face. I knew for certain I have a broken nose, bruised right side jaw, bruised all over my body (stomach, chest, arms, legs, back, you name it). I sighed. "Come on, let's get cleaned up and then we can get dinner."
He cheered. "Yeah alright!" Together we walked back to the bandits. Their reactions were priceless…
I shook my head with a wide fond grin, we grown a lot since then. To tell you the truth, if I and Luffy truly went all out, you would think that he would win, being the captain and all, but the truth is, I would never go all out on him like that and he wouldn't either. We'd never have a reason to do so anyway; sure we would fight about something, but never let it get that far. I wouldn't even know who would win an all out battle with I and Luffy.
When I and Zoro fought, I don't think either of us went all out. We tried surely, but not all out. To go all out is throw everything in your power into fighting, to throw risk and caution for yourself and your opponent to the wind. I looked down, it looked like the fight was almost over, I really need to stop spacing out, that could get me in trouble later on. Wait a minute! Where's Wapol!? I edged myself down, jumping and then grabbing a ledge and hoping to the window. I slid through and ran down stairs.
I heard Luffy's voice as I ran. "COME BACK HERE, BIG MOUTH!" I saw Luffy running right at me and my eyes widened and his jaw dropped.
I yelled. "Woah! Luffy!" I tried to skid to a stop, but slipped on ice and slammed my forehead into Luffy's and my body into his, making us both crash to the ground in pain. I clasped my forehead between my fingers and chanting, rolling in the snow. "Ow, ow, ow!"
Luffy was doing the same thing. "Dammit Mace! Watch where you're goin'!"
I glared at him with a splitting headache and snapped with a growl. "Why you runnin' in the castle like an idiot for?"
He huffed and fixed the hat back on his head. "Wapol ran in here!" I groaned, that guy is too annoying to deal with. Luffy then said. "Chopper can do 7 transformation forms!" I blinked at the stars in his eyes and shook my head, jeez! Luffy said. "But then I didn't see that stupid big mouth get away!"
I blinked again and stared at him blankly. I then huffed and smacked him on the head, making him yelp. "What was that for!?"
I scowled slightly at him. "Getting distracted during a fight."
He glared at me. "You do it too!" He's referring to my ADHD, I felt my face get hot, not matter the temperature. Luffy then looked angry again. "Hey Mace, come on! We have to catch Wapol!" With that he snatched my wrist and pulled me in a random direction. I stumbled for a second and then regained my footing, following my little brother.
I yelped and followed him, we ran past a corner and went to see Nami get pounced on by a skinny guy. Anger coiled in my gut. We were a bit far away and I growled when I noticed it was Wapol, but a lot thinner. He was trying to eat her. I said. "Luffy! Rocket me!" His eyes flickered to mine and nodded. He stopped moving and I ran backwards with his arm far away. Once I was a good 6 or 7ft away, I stopped. I shouted. "Now!"
Nami and Wapol stared at me confused and lost. Nami eyes widened in shock, she seen Luffy do it enough, she knows what we are going to do. Luffy yanked his arm and the air rushed past me and I let go of him when I was past him and Wapol eyes were wide as he screamed, but I moved two feet in front of me and bent them to my chest. So when I finally reached his face, I snapped my feet toward him, smashing his face in and making him crash into the wall.
I jumped to my feet and walked back a little. Nami stood on too feet, surprised. I grinned. That was fun. Nami walked over to us and punched Luffy in the head. I snorted and she snapped with a sweet smile. "Will you mind telling me why the coat I let you kindly lent up is all torn up before I murder you?" I snorted and Luffy made a face and the first half went blue. I snickered, it was close to the face we made with Grandpa or when Ace was pissed at us.
Nami poked him in the chest and he moved back with gritted teeth. Nami snapped. "Do you know how much I paid for that thing?! 22,028 berries! That was after haggling!"
Luffy raised his hands. "Hey, wait, I didn't do it! The loud mouth over there did! It's not my fault he shot a cannon at me!"
I paled when I saw the extra sweet smile curve on her mouth. I muttered. "That can't be good…"
Nami chirped. "Oh, in that case Luffy, I guess I can forgive you. To be honest, I knew you wouldn't bring it back in good condition when I let you barrow it. You can pay me back at my usual 300% interest. Which comes to 100,000."
I stared at her in horror and felt my face turn darker. "Y-you! MONEY GRUBBING WITCH!" I hollered at her, shocked she would bind Luffy to something like that, I swear she's nice at one point and a demon on another point.
Luffy also screamed in shock. "Ahhhh! You should have said! I never would have taken it then!"
She laughed darkly at both of us and I moved closer to Luffy. "Creepy…" Luffy nodded in agreement.
I then heard Wapol's loud mouth. "Hello! I'm still here!" We all looked at him, aw I didn't finish him! I just want him to shut up.
Luffy said. "Oh, that's right. I still have to kick your butt."
I snorted, he looks funny skinny.
Wapol yelled. "Ha! I'll be the one doing the butt kicking! Behind me lies this castle's arsenal and I'm the only one who has the key to it! Inside are some of the fiercest weapons known to man! All I need to do is devour them Strawhats and then my Munch-Munch shop will make them part of my body. You will be forced to face a fearsome weapon with the likes you never seen before! The three of you don't stand a chance!" He laughed and I rolled my eyes.
"What's with him, does he ever shut up?"
Luffy shrugged, an annoyed expression on his face. "I dunno." Suddenly Wapol started screaming about some missing key. Then Wapol ran off and Luffy followed him. I decided he didn't need my help, so I stayed with Nami. I looked to see what she was looking at. I blinked and
Nami said. "So this was the key to the arsenal he was talking about. Why couldn't this be the key to this castle's treasure vault? Ah, man!"
I blanched and stared at her. "Really?! You had it the whole time and we had to listen to that monologue for nothing then!" She opened her mouth to say something while giving me a dirty look, but we were interrupted.
Nami, my love! Mace sweet! You're both here!" I face palmed with a sigh. Sanji was crawling quickly (his back must still be hurt and in pain).
Nami looked worried and knelt down. Sanji, what's wrong!? Why are you crawling?! Are you okay!?"
I jerked back at the heart in his eye, how is that physically possible!? Sanji gushed. "I am now that I seen you, Nami dear! I just need two things that will make me feel even better!" Nami slammed his face to the ground and I sighed, slapping a hand to my forehead harshly. I really hope Ace never sees him do that, ever. As you know with the bandages and my chest, Ace gets a bit overprotective and we were still in the forest at the time.
I rolled my eyes and ran off, walking to the front of the castle doors running into Chopper and Kureha. I waved with a grin. Luffy should be almost done. Chopper asked. "Huh? Your back?"
I nodded and looked to see what they were looking at. "Yeah, we should be done with this soon."
Kureha raised an eyebrow at me. "Why do you say that?"
I smirked. "This fight lasted long enou-hey there's the king!" They both gasped and looked to see Wapol stuck. "Look its Luffy." They stared and Luffy scaled the castle, standing right in front of Wapol. Wapol was screaming in panic and my grin widened, spreading across my face from ear to ear.
Luffy threw his arms way far behind him. Gum-Gum…Bazooka!" Wapol then went flying and I let out a bark of laughter. At least we don't have to listen to that annoying coward anymore. Chopper and Kureha stared in shock.
Kureha then grinned and laughed. "So, Drum Kingdom was defeated by the skull and crossbones!" With that, she let out another laugh and I laughed too. I saw a weird box come from the ground and tilted my head to the side confused, what the hell is that, an elevator? Some people came out and I put a hand on the hilt of my sword with narrowed eyes, who the hell were they? I heard Luffy yell and then I saw the long nose and stock of moss green hair.
My eyes widened and I looked back. "Wait, Luffy-" I didn't get to finish because Luffy plowed into both of them. This made them crash to the ground. I smirked when I saw then all covered in snow and I walked forward and chuckled to see Luffy upper half stuck in the snow, his legs kicking.
I grabbed a leg and yanked him out, making him hank by his ankle. I gripped the base of his ankle in a way where he didn't stretch. Luffy laughed loudly and grabbed his hat from the snow. I shook him, making his head smack into the snow. "Luffy! What did you think you were doing?" He just laughed so I dropped him.
Zoro screamed with sharp teeth. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING?!"
Luffy grinned widely and I sat in the snow as he said. "I didn't recognize you at first."
I looked at Zoro. "He has green hair."
Zoro turned to me with the same angry expression. "SHUT UP, IDIOT!"
Luffy continued like me and Zoro's conversation never happened. "I thought you were one of big mouth's men! I'm surprised you came all the way up here."
I rolled my eyes at Luffy. "Oh, please! You would have done it either way."
Zoro glared. "What!?"
Luffy shrugged. "Eh, so." That didn't make Zoro very happy; I joining in did not make it any better. Luffy said he was surprised with Usopp coming up here and not Zoro though. Usopp made the laugh he makes whenever he lies. I rolled my eyes again and walked over to another person standing there. I grinned when I saw the blue hair. "Hey Vivi."
She smiled at me. "Hello, you guys got up here okay. She looked at my still bandaged hair worriedly. I blocked out Usopp bragging. I looked around and saw Chopper hiding behind a tree except it was the wrong way, his whole body was showing. I smirked at that.
Dalton from before with the green coat suddenly bowed and thanked us for saving his country. I shifted awkwardly. I hate when someone would bow to me, it would make me feel uncomfortable. Like no one should lower their standards like that.
Usopp then screamed. "AH A Yeti! SOMEONE SHOOT IT!" My eyes widened as Chopper screamed and ran away. Luffy punched him in the head and I did too. Me and Luffy both said. "You idiot!"
Luffy scowled. "He's out new Nakama!" Usopp looked shocked and Luffy grabbed my collar, dragging me with him to chase the reindeer in the forest, calling for him. I choked at the hand restricting me.
I called. "Luffy's right, Chopper! Stop running already!"
Chopper screamed as we chased him around a couple of trees. "Wahhh! They just want to shoot me!"
Luffy shook his head; trying to get closer and I yanked my collar away from him as Luffy said. "They just don't know you yet!" I sighed and slowed down, walking back to everyone else. By that I mean Dalton, my crew and Vivi.
…. … ….. … … ….. …. … …
I was amused as Sanji and Nami were hiding from Kureha. I was deemed healed, so she left me alone. Usopp and Zoro were outside, Dalton was brought inside (he was injured badly) and Vivi was out here too. I was laying in the snow and for some reason I decided to make snow angels. I don't know why, I just wanted to, I guess. I flinched at the scream I heard from the castle.
It was Sanji and apparently Kureha was doing something to fix his back. All I know was that it sounded horrible. I stepped away from my snow angel. It looked sort of messed up, but it had the wings and legs.
Zoro asked me. "Mace? What the hell are you doing?"
I smiled at him, giddy with the snow. "Snow angels!" He rolled his eyes and put his hands behind his head, closing his eyes. Usopp came over to inspect it with a thoughtful face. Then he moved away from it with an excited look and started making his own snow angel. I had to laugh at that, so I did. I know Luffy is chasing Chopper to become part of his crew.
I chuckled under my breath, I wonder how long that will take, when the reindeer finally agrees to Luffy's declaration and not question. It was more of a statement. I sat back in the snow. Soon enough, Nami was found and Vivi went with them to check on Nami more. I knew she was fine so I didn't worry about it.
The sun was going down, but it was not night time. I grinned when Chopper ran past me, Luffy right on his hoofs. I chuckled.
Usopp asked. "Mace? What's so funny?"
I grinned and laughed again. "Luffy is right on his hoofs, which would be heels, but he's a reindeer so it's hoofs-get it."
Usopp looked at blankly. "Uh, okay. Sure."
I huffed and waved a hand. "Ah, come on!" I looked away from his not changing look and laid on my back, falling asleep.
I awoke to Luffy screaming. "HEY REINDEER! COME BE A PIRATE WITH US, OKAY!?"
I yawned and rubbed my eyes, sitting up. Luffy was yelling at Chopper to be a pirate again. He should just give in soon; we need to get to Alabasta, who knows what's wrong with her country at this point.
Usopp said. "Come on, Luffy, why don't you just give it up? We've tracking him forever and he still hasn't shown up".
Zoro replied. "He's not interested in becoming a pirate, you have to except that."
I rolled my eyes at them. "You guys are idiots."
Zoro glared. "What are you saying, Mace!?" I looked to see him sitting with a glare and Usopp making a snowman.
I rolled my eyes again with a huff. "He wants to be one, I know it. He just is scared for some reason."
Usopp asked me as Luffy yelled in the background. "How do you know that?"
I smirked. "I just do."
Usopp flailed a bit. "That's not an answer!"
Luffy nodded as he agreed. "Yeah! I want him to be a pirate with us!"
Zoro twitched, obviously annoyed with me and Luffy both. "JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT SOMETHING DOESN'T MEAN IT'S GOING TO HAPPEN!?"
I snickered at his pissed off expression and he snapped at me with sharp teeth. "SHUT UP, YOU!"
Luffy continued to yell for Chopper. It was quiet and suddenly I heard a crunch in the snow. I snapped my head only for it to be Chopper. Luffy spun around and saw him, he grinned. "Reindeer guy! You going to come on our ship and be a pirate with us, kay?"
I heard a dragging and looked to see Nami and Vivi dragging Sanji on the ground.
Chopper was looking down at the snow packed ground. "I can't."
I frowned, he said this before. Luffy said. "Sure you can, Reindeer! It's a whole lot of fun!"
Usopp yelled at him and I smiled and leaned forward. "Chopper. Remember what I said, you want to do something, just do it, no regrets."
His eyes widened at what I said and I softened a bit, smiling encouragingly. His little fist/hoofs were shaking along with the rest of him which I knew was not from the cold. "I can't… I'M NOT A HUMAN, I'M A REINDEER! I HAVE ANTLERS AND HOOFS! DON'T YOU SEE!? I EVEN HAVE A BLUE NOSE! Okay maybe I do want to be a pirate, but I can't think like you do, human." He was looking at me when he said this part. "I can't ever be one of you, I'm not human! I'm a monster and I can't become a pirate! I can't become your friend on your ship! You see, I'm just here to say, thank you. I am happy you are asking me to join your ship, but that was really nice, thank you".
I looked at Luffy face, he was blank faced expect for the deep frown he had showing he was displeased.
Chopper went on, voice quiet. "I'm going to stay here for now, but if you wanted to, you could stop by here again-"
"SHUT UP! LET'S GO!" That got Chopper bawling and I laughed and grinned as I stood up, knowing Chopper was coming. The rest of the crew agreed with me and Zoro grumbled under his breath. "Most people don't make friends by telling them to shut up."
That just made me laugh more. Soon enough Chopper went inside and Luffy helped Usopp with his snow man. I was sitting near Sanji and wondering what the hell was wrong with him to put such a pained face on him while Nami was talking to Usopp about leaving when Chopper came back.
Usopp said. "I'm going to get the rope way ready, Luffy give me a hand." Luffy followed him with an amazed face. I chuckled under my breath and poked Sanji on the cheek, he was still out cold. Suddenly a while later Chopper came running looking like a real reindeer with a sled attached to him with someone chasing him.
Zoro asked. "What's going on?" My eyes widened in shock when I saw Kureha chasing him with a small cannon back on a chain.
Nami said. "He's being chased!"
I paled. "It's the crazy witch doctor!"
Usopp called. "The ropeway is ready to go!"
Chopper yelled. Hurry up! Get on the slay, we're going down the mountain!" Can't argue with that! I jumped up, grabbed Sanji, threw him on my shoulder and tensed my legs because of the weight and jumped on, the others behind me. Luffy and Usopp jumped in when it passed him, I was between Luffy and Zoro. We were all pushed in and I put Sanji down on the sled.
We went down the ropeway with Chopper leading and I looked at the sky in amazement. It was so…beautiful. Usually, I didn't care about stuff like that, but wow. Soon enough, we got off the rope way and was just sledding on the snow. Luffy shouted out. "Wow, can we do that again!" Of course he would be the one to say that.
Nami snapped. "You idiot, we don't have time for that!" I knew that would be her answer too. Sanji seemed to be coming to. We stopped and Chopper shook the ropes off, watching his village. Luffy sat on it and I was on his left, kneeling in the sled to him left, Zoro standing out of it on my left.
My eyes widened in amazement. It was snowing pink. I felt a soft grin on my lips, it's just wow! I never…
It seemed to be even more amazing for Chopper because he cried harder than before, wailing. I don't know why, but knew to give him his time, let whatever was bothering him come out. I could tell the others were amazed at the pink snow. When Chopper was done, he rubbed his eyes and we made our way back home to the Going Merry, with our new Nakama.

Wow, that was longer than the usual! I wanted to finish Drum Kingdom and that's why! I love these Chopper episodes though. This is about a week or so late though. I'll try to update quicker, most likely will. School work got in the way! Hoped you like it!
