Christmas III
One Shot
Merry Christmas everyone, this is like a day late, but my Christmas was busy and sorry about not posting much. I try to get updates to some of my stories by the time school starts. Busy senior.
Wow, I can't believe I have 102 reviews, I remember when I posted my first chapter.
Cupcake: I don't plan on bringing her back to Earth, so don't worry about that.
Hope you enjoy this Christmas One-Shot
"Macy! Macy! Wake up!" The 13 year old Mason Ann Perry groaned at the small pushing from her little brother. She shoved her face back in the pillow and he stopped shaking her. She breathed a sigh of relief and went back to sleep. She was just falling asleep when the shaking was heavier and she felt a weight on her back.
She sighed, but kept her eyes closed. He started jumping. "Come on, wake up! Please! Christmas is here, presents!"
Mace groaned and bucked upward, tossing the young boy off and next to her, on his back. She blinked at him and yawned tiredly. She looked over at the clock, it was 8:37 am. Mace sat up and asked. "Are Mom and Dad up yet?"
Eric grinned. "Yeah! Dad's drinkin' coffee and Mom's making pancakes, chocolate chip ones and bacon too!"
Mace perked up, grinning herself. "Did you just say chocolate chip pancakes and bacon?"
Eric nodded, smirking at her happy face. Mace jumped out of bed. "Let's go then!"
Eric giggled under his breath and Mace walked into the Living Room in her pj pants and blue tank top. Mace saw that her father was reading the paper, but it couldn't had been today's, considering it was Christmas. He looked neutral, they both were fighting a lot and Mace hated how upset her mom and brother got about it. She and her dad just butted heads a lot, even if it was getting a lot worse than before.
He nodded at her and even smiled a bit. Her Mom placed a decently sized plate of pancakes and bacon in front of her and she sat down, thanking her and then starting to eat. Eric ate next to her and their dad did too. Her Mom only really ate dinner with them. While she cooked, she ate, so when the food was ready, she wasn't hungry or not hungry enough to eat a whole dinner.
By the time they were finished, Eric was jumping and Mace could barely keep in her seat herself. They all went to the Living Room. Their parents sat on the couch and they kneeled by the tree. Taking their presents and handing out the ones that weren't theirs. Eric got more games for his blue Nintendo DS from their parents and that book series they both took a liking to. Rick Riodian and his five books, Mace bought him the book set.
He was grinning at what he got. Mace got some shirts and pants as she was hitting a growth spirt, almost out growing her pants and some of her shirts were getting too tight. She got some money too, she was getting at that age. With the help of their parents, Eric got her a Play Station 2 with some games to go with it.
They're parents exchanged gifts and got each other things that made the two kids confused, like an inside joke or something. But they seemed to enjoy it and their father was happy, he was laughing and his eyes were shining with joy as he smiled and looked at his family.
While Eric and Mace were playfull wrestling (Mace letting him win), their parents watched. Hal Perry chuckled as Mace suddenly stopped looking like she was defeated, pinning her brother down and tickling him until he was red in the face and pleading. "Sorry, Mace! Stop-I, agh! Stop!"
She grinned at him and he blew out an annoyed breath, his bangs moving. "That's not fair!"
She just smirked. Their mother said. "Mace, be nice to your brother."
Mace gave a sheepish grin in return. Eric was by his father and Hal Perry whispered something in his ear. He jumped on his big sister's back and tickled her back by attacking under her arms. She yelped and reached behind her to grab him. Grinning to himself, Hal stopped her and help Eric, making her shriek in laughter.
Eric laughed. "Ha! How do you like it now, huh!?"
"Ah, sorr-dad! Stop, n-not my feet!"
The older woman of the house smiled as they played and laughed, she would pay anything for this moment to last.
Too bad it didn't.

One Piece World
Mace and Luffy: Age 13 Ace: Age 16
Luffy yelped as the snow ball hit with enough force in the face to knock him on his ass. mace snickered at him, only to also yelp as some cold and fast smacked the back of her neck. She rubbed it and turned. "Ow! Ace, you don't have to throw it like that."
He smirked at her. "Why? You did the same to Luffy?"
She huffed. "It won't hurt him."
Ace made a sarcastic face at her. "Aw, does it hurt?"
Mace shook her head, glaring. "Shut it, bastard."
Luffy and Ace snickered at her grumbling. They knew she didn't care about the snow ball. After playing around for a bit, Ace and Mace sat tiredly. Luffy ran around them, still full of energy. Ace was annoyed and yanked on Luffy's knee (so he didn't stretch), making the 14 year old sit next to him. Mace snorted. "When did you think Gar-Gramps will come here?"
Luffy shivered, moving closer to Ace and Ace thumped her in the back of the head. "You need to call him Gramps or something, he always hits you when you call him that."
Mace glared. "Whatever, I forget." Then she smirked. "Plus you'll just to my defense, dear brother."
He thumped her again as Luffy laughed at Ace's pink face. Ace then smacked him. They decided to go back to the hut and deal with Garp. Luffy and Ace went to hunt down some dinner. Mace practiced swinging her sharpened pipe at the air and trees. her stance was as perfect as it was going to be. She was lost in her own head and like every Christmas she thought about her old family. She remembered with a fond smile what they did when she was 13. That was a bit before her father gotten to be stricter.
She missed them and sometimes felt guilty when she enjoyed herself.
"What's got you thinking so hard?"
She jumped, almost dropping her weapon on her foot. Ace raised an eyebrow. He and Luffy were carrying a dead crocodile. She grinned and Luffy grinned widely back, already looking like he was going to eat it raw. She walked with them back to the hut. It was about mid day and she was humgry.
It also bothered her that they were happy and enjoying them selves and Sabo was dead and has been for 6 years. She clenched her fists. She didn't want to think about that, not today. Luffy looked at her. "Mace? You okay?"
Mace fixed a smile. "Yeah, Luffy. I'm Fine."
He frowned at her and Mace hatred at that point how he could know what people important to him were feeling. Ace said. "Come on, Luffy. I wanna eat before the old man gets here."
Luffy blinked at Mace and Mace raised her eyebrows at him. He shrugged at her and walked forward.
Mace gave Ace a thankful look, she didn't want to say anything and not on Christmas. He shrugged a shoulder and sent her a look. She didn't bother say anything and happy to see the hut. She ran forward and walked in, seeing a couple of bandits and Dadan. She had a note in her hand. "Hey, Dadan!"
She glared at Mace. "What do you want, brat?"
Mace smirked at her 'angry' look and pushed her depressed thoughts in the back of her mind. "We have a croc, so cook it, Where's Gramps?"
She gestured to the note. "Garp-san said he wouldn't be here, now go!"
Mace rolled her eyes at her, Dadan was more than used to them, but she still acted that way. Ace and Luffy came through the door. Luffy cheered. "We got the meat!"
Ace smirked and Mace grinned as the other bandits grilled it up. By the time the food was set up, Mace, Luffy and Ace were knocking bandits away, eating at least more than half of the food. As the bandits sulked, which was strange for bandits.
As Luffy was bloated and knocked out (as he usually was when ate his fill), Ace and Mace leaned against the wall. Luffy was actually sleeping about in Mace's lap, his head on her lap.
Ace nudged her. "Hey."
She blinked, not wanting to move. She ate a lot too. "Hm?"
He snorted. "Wake up a little, what was bothering you earlier?"
She glared at him in annoyance. "You couldn't let it go, could you?"
Ace rolled his eyes. "Nah, something was bothering you twice. I get you didn't want to tell you younger brother, so I'm you older one, so tell me."
Mace snorted. "I'm older by a month, leave me alone."
Ace scowled, pushing her shoulder, making Luffy move and snore louder. "Don't make me force you." But he smirked as he said it. He fingers moved closer to her side and she squirmed away and sighed. She spat. "Fine..."
It was quiet for a moment and he elbowed her hard with a raised eyebrow. "Well..."
Mace sighed again. "I just wonder and feel bad about my old family."
"You told me you let go of that."
Mace looked away. "Sometimes you can't."
He ruffled her hair with a smile and then asked. "What else is bothering you?"
Her head shot up to look him in the eye. "W-what?"
He once again rolled his eyes. "Come on, tell me. I know you hiding something."
She scowled. "Sabo..."
Ace frowned, his eyes darkening. "Oh..."
Mace snorted, smiling bitterly. "Yeah, oh. I feel bad we're having so much fun and he's just...just...gone."
She sighed and let her head hit the wall.
Ace said. "Yeah, I know. Would Sabo want you to think like that?"
Mace didn't even have to think about it, he wasn't that kind of person. "No."
Ace shrugged. "Than don't."
Mace snapped her head to look at him. "It's not that easy and you know it!"
Ace nodded. "Yeah, just try. You got me, Luffy, hell even that shitty old man and the bandits. That help?"
Mace's mouth twitched into a happy grin. "Yeah, it does, thanks."
He chuckled and ruffled her hair again. "Good."
Mace was closing her eyes, ready to take a nap like her brother.
Ace said. "So just-really you fell asleep?!"
He snorted as he looked at Mace sleeping with her head back, her stomach and chest moving with her breath. Ace looked down and smiled fondly at his little brother, Luffy was sleeping on Mace's lap, snoring with his mouth open, peaceful expression on his face. His stomach wasstill bulging, though it gotten smaller as he slept.
His hat was on his chest, one arm around it and another rested lazily on his head. mace snorted and moved closer to him and Luffy did the same.
Ace smiled at them, he wouldn't let anything happen to them. he already lost Sabo, he wouldn't let anything happen to his little brothers, nothing. He then remembered that he would go out to sea in another year and knew he couldn't put it off, that had a agreement. he couldn't go back on it.
And he knew when they turned 17, they would go out to sea to become pirates. He knew Mace would be his First Mate, she having his back and he having hers. He just had to trust they could take care of themselves.
He couldn't lose them, he just couldn't.
And if had something to say about it, he wouldn't.
And done! That wasn't too happy, but I liked it. I'll try to get a real chapter soon.
